I remember when RWBY first came out, and being fascinated by it. Forever thank Monty and the crew for giving us this work, may he rest well.
A Legion spinoff. Naruto tries to have a vacation with a couple of the girls. Fate might have other plans.
-Story Start-
Ino was having the time of her life at the moment. The music in this dimly lit club was loud and thumping, the bass echoed in her very bones. The drinks weren't all that bad to be honest and a further bonus, she got to dance and party with some of her favorite people. On cue Naruto twirled her around, a black and deep purple dress flowing around her knees and offering tantalizing views of her shoulders. With a laugh she settled back into the rhythm while her husband pulled her close to whisper in her ear.
"Having fun Ino-chan?" His voice had gotten a bit deeper over the years, but he was still every bit the playful man she had fallen for. Now if she could just get him to cut his hair into something more trendy, instead of this Jiraiya replica they've gotten.
Grinning as she eyed one of her sister wives coming up the rear, Ino focused fully on him as she pressed herself against him. "A vacation just for you me and Tayuya? Absolutely. And this world is just amazing. Full of life and energy, though I could do without the weird murder monsters."
Chuckling as he felt his other wife pulling him around, Naruto grinned down at the red headed Tayuya, dressed in form fitting black pants and a deep burnt orange t shirt, "Your turn?"
Tayuya offered him a grin as Ino spun away to the bar, "You bet hot stuff. You promise that almost no time will pass in our world?"
Naruto nodded, having checked and double checked the portal himself more than a dozen times, "A month here is three days back home, and besides, we trained everyone well, they'll be alright. Don't be such a mother hen." The pinch to his side was expected, "They'll be fine Ta-chan."
Against the bounce and flow of the music playing, some peppy pop song, Tayuya leaned in and molded herself into Naruto's broad chest, "I know they will be. It's just, been a long time since it's been just us. I worry."
Feeling playful, Naruto took Tayuya by the hand and spun her around lightly, his eyes flashing purple for a moment as he caught her honey colored eyes, "Give me a day, I'll knock that worry right out of you."
"More like you'll knock something into me, aren't you getting tired of me yet?" They'd been together for years now, nearly sixteen all told. They all knew he loved them, but even so, she was getting older, she had worries.
Shaking his head, Naruto spun them both before angling back toward the bar to join Ino, "I could never get tired of you Tayuya, I love you, forever and always." Leaning in he kissed his wife gently and internally smirked at her flushed face. Score one for him.
'As if you need anymore points in that area.' Kurama's voice muttered and sulked, to which Naruto pointed at him mentally.
'You're only mad cause I won't let you run off to eat this world's monsters, give it up.'
'But they look somewhat strong! Let me fight!'
'We aren't getting involved!'
'Coward! No balls!'
'I'll show you no balls you furball!'
Ino giggled as Tayuya finished leading Naruto back to the bar, nestling in easily next to her, "He's fighting with the furball isn't he?"
"Yup, what are these monsters called again?" Tayuya motioned for the bartender, who was having a difficult time pulling away from another well developed blonde down the way. Huh, guess every world was different, that looked like a child.
Ino shrugged, "Grimm I think. Nasty things that hunt people and can sense negative emotions apparently."
That brought Naruto out of his argument, "Negative emotion sensing was that?" Hmm, that was interesting.
Ino and Tayuya sensed his intrigue right away, Ino shoving her fruity drink into his hands immediately, "No no no. This is a vacation. VA. CA. TION! No fighting or getting involved in crazy hijinks unless we approve." Which they wouldn't. Ino had to offer more than a few favors to the other girls just to make sure it would be the three of them. And the kids? She didn't want to think about what was going on with all of them right now. Their auntie Ino had put Ryujin firmly in charge, though she hoped the others wouldn't give him a hard time.
Rolling his eyes, Naruto nodded and took a sip of the beverage, "Riiiight, I got it, we'll take it easy and I will not get involved with-" Interrupting his sentence, a body went flying away from the bar to crash onto the dance floor. Blinking as the music quit, all eyes turned to the blonde girl who was suddenly glowing at the other end of the bar as she stalked towards her prey. "Huh."
Tayuya sighed heavily, "We shouldn't have jinxed it." What they thought was security was already rushing the girl's way, while Ino was trying and failing to pull Naruto away as he watched with rapt attention.
Grunting as Naruto might as well be a world pillar at this point, a dainty high heeled shoe found his foot, "Don't you dare. You were about to promise not to get involved."
"I'm not involved." Naruto watched the young fighter move. They didn't have chakra on this world, but the energy they did have was certainly interesting in itself. To be able to unlock the bounds of the soul and use it for defense and for combat, and weapons capable of transformations. It was certainly giving him ideas. He watched the girl flip over several guards while her gauntlets blasted them away with concussive force. Blue eyes met purple and purple winked back. "Interesting."
Ino scoffed and jabbed a senbon into his ribs, "She's old enough to be your daughter you dirty old letch." Not that she was worried, she had miles on the the girl easy. Still best make sure.
Chuckling as the unknown girl cleaned house while the rest of the patrons cleared out, Naruto handed Ino back her drink while he reached behind the bar for a bottle of something dark and sweet. "You don't have to worry about that, I'm more interested in that power of hers, not her herself." Lifting up the bottle Naruto unscrewed the cap and took a sniff. Rum, good. A quick drink and a heavy sigh, he offered it to Tayuya, "What do ya say? Sit back and watch or join in?"
Deciding that they weren't going to be able to divert Naruto's attention this time, Tayuya took the bottle and thanked the stars she wasn't pregnant, again. "At least wait until it looks like she might be in over her head."
Naruto's attention turned back to the brown short jacket clad girl, "With how she's cleaning up, I'm not to worried about that." The group now settled in to watch the blonde now face off against a new pair of girls. One dressed in a white lolita style dress with blades on her boots, while the other was her opposite, goth with dual hand blades. Still no real tension in the girl as she began to methodically wipe the floor with them. "She's got some talent."
Tayuya was watching as well and the instructor in her was frowning, "A lot of openings though. Like she's either used to tanking hits, or that's her goal." Leaning against the bar as she passed the bottle back to Naruto, Tayuya brought a finger to her lips absentmindedly, "She needs training, and an ego check."
Ino sighed, already seeing the thoughts of her vacation drifting away now that Tayuya was getting sucked into this, "We could make a break for it ya know, find another club? It's not to late you know?"
Naruto chuckled and pulled the shorter woman into his side, "We'll still have plenty of fun Ino, I promise."
"You promise?"
"Uzumaki honor."
"I'll hold you too that." Ino watched as just as they predicted, the girl mopped the floor with her adversaries and stood alone. "So now what?"
Naruto motioned with his head to the last roadblock ahead, "One more apparently." The man looked tough, but again no real training. A brawler in a suit armed with what looked like a rocket launcher of all things. "Ino?"
"On it." With a tap of her foot a light barrier formed around the three as they watched the show and none to soon. A stray rocket bounced off of her barrier of light to explode and obscure their view. "Who the hell would use rockets indoors? Is he an idiot?"
"Considering he's fighting seriously against a little girl and losing? Yeah, I'd call him that." Ino smirked as more explosions rocked the interior of the club, glass and masonry falling and turning the dance floor into even more of a hazard zone. Watching the girl close in for close combat, the weapon shifted into a giant club that was used with some proficiency. "Well then."
Naruto mirrored the curiosity, "Neat trick." Still, this fight was pretty one sided and the conclusion was clear for all three of them. It seemed that there was a clear divide between those who could use this world's power and those who couldn't. Much like their world and chakra. Yet, it didn't inspire anything in him. Sure he was curious, and he wanted to see what was possible with it, but in the end it certainly wasn't something he'd give up chakra for.
'You're well past that at this point. Short of something giving you the power to rip apart stars, I doubt it would excite you.' Kurama's voice called out as the girl took a decent hit, several strands of hair lost for her trouble.
'You never know, sometimes things get interesting for other reasons.' Naruto and crew all raised eyebrows as the girl's eyes changed into a fiery red, hair glowing gold in a way that was very familiar. Ino and Tayuya both turned to Naruto instantly, and the man began to sweat, "She's not mine!"
Tayuya was already striding away as Ino nabbed him by the ear, all three noting the girl sending her attacker out and through a window, "So you say husband. How did you find this world again?" Honestly they were teasing, they knew he wouldn't sire any other children so negligently. Certainly not without their permission as well.
"I look for worlds that either are radically different than ours or are pretty peaceful. Vacation places mostly, and this was one of those! I've never spent any time here. No more than a week tops." Naruto did not like the look Ino was sending him, "Honest!"
Having jumped out of the window with a sigh to stand over Junior, Yang smirked and readied herself to beat the answers out of the groaning man. One way or another she was going to find her mother, or at least have some ideas before she started at beacon. There was a flutter of cloth ahead of her that made her pause and she took in someone she did not expect to see tonight. "Hey Rubes! What're you doin here?" Seeing her sister in her customary black and red dress, all goth lolita as usual, Yang sighed with some relief.
Ruby took in her sister, somewhat dirty and covered in soot and debri, she must have missed a good fight. "Oh you know, staying out of trouble…" She wouldn't mention ditching their dad to wander the city herself just yet. Not like that wasn't obvious. Instead she focused on the man under Yang's feet, "Friend of yours?"
Yang shook her head and gave Junior a good kick in the ribs, "Hardly, just someone who has information I need." The click of heels behind her prompted her to look back, seeing the three adults that had been watching her at the bar. More of Junior's hired help maybe? "Hey uh, do you make it a habit of watching your employer get the stuffing kicked out of him?" The blonde man was pretty cute actually and were those whiskers? A faunus then?
Naruto raised his eyebrows as Ino finally let him go, pointing to himself with a surprised look, "You really think I'd work for someone who'd fight kids?" Seeing the red girl's curious look and the blonde shrug, Naruto sighed and shook his head, "Yeah no. Don't know him or work for him."
Ino pushed past him, pointing a dainty finger towards the girl with a sigh, "That trick of yours with the eyes, how'd you do that?" Even though Ino believed Naruto, she was still curious. It was a crazy coincidence that there was another blonde with color changing eyes out there.
Figuring that they were in fact someone she had to fight, Yang sighed and shifted Ember Celica back into their combat form, "Why don't you come over here and find out. Ruby stay out of this will ya."
"But I can help!" Ruby was already scrambling for her mechashift weapon Crescent Rose.
Thrusting her fists behind her, Yang used the shotgun blasts as extra propulsive force, "No need Ruby! Junior's goons are pushovers!" A roundhouse kick aimed at the guy in the middle flew true, though she ignored the two women with him jumping out of the way.
Sighing and seeing the attack coming, Naruto didn't bother leaning out of the way, instead reaching up and taking hold of Yang's ankle with ease. Blue eyes shifted red for a moment, and Naruto smirked, "Yeah, like I said, I'm not with that guy. You might wanna chill out before you start something you can't finish I think." Casually tossing the child away, he nearly broke out into laughter at the confused look on her face. "Cat got your tongue blondie?"
"You. Wait…how?" Was this guy family? Tall, long blonde hair, eyes shifted red when powering up, he had to be right? "You dad's brother or something?" Ruby was already at her side, looking between her and the older man with some confusion with Crescent Rose clutched to her chest..
Eyes already back to normal, Naruto shrugged, "That's why my wives are a bit curious. They've never met someone else with eyes like mine and thought maybe you were an illegitimate kid of mine. Which you aren't, which I've said multiple times already." Here he turned to look at the innocent looking Ino and Tayuya, both leaning against one another and looking angelic.
Yang watched them calmly for a moment, gauging whether he was telling the truth or not. She didn't have the feeling that this guy was one to lie, and with how easily he tossed her off if he really was here to fight her it'd probably already be over. Not in her favor either. Maybe he was a fully fledged Hunter then? With a movement from her arms her weapons shifted back into their standard bracelets. "Okay, sorry. Yeah, sorry about attacking you out of the blue like that. And I have a dad thank you very much, though not as big or brawny as you." Now to figure out if they were related or not, she'd need to call dad asap.
Naruto shrugged, "It's alright, lots of people try to fight me out of nowhere." Either in their home world or in worlds he visited, there was always someone who wanted to fight him eventually. Tayuya was quick to return to his side, "Welp, you satisfied?"
Tayuya nodded, "Good enough for me."
Ino shrugged as she returned to his other side, "I guess. But now our night is tanked. That was a fun club too."
Ruby eyed the crumbling building they were standing next to, a piece of veneer falling to crash and spread dust not far away from them. "Yaaaang."
Hearing the tone in her sister's voice, Yang turned to her with a smile, "I didn't do anything!"
"You obviously did! You're gonna start at Beacon soon! You can't be fighting like this."
"Well I, I didn't start it!"
Ino eyed the man still groaning on the ground and she was pretty sure was hamming it up at this point, "Sure did finish it."
Ruby eyed her sister with all of her silver eyed wrath, "Yaaaang."
"It's not my fault!" Yang had to hand it to her little sister, she lectured almost as good as mom did.

Within the high tower of the prestigious Beacon academy, Ozpin watched the security feed with interest. This girl, Yang, had some talent and would one day make a great huntress. If she could temper that temper of hers. However what really had his interest was the man across from her. Those eyes…that was not a semblance. While above him the clockwork mechanism of the clock tower worked away, he reached out to find his favorite mug was empty. With a sigh he looked up to find his second in command, Glynda Goodwitch, walking towards him, "You're certainly up late."
Eyeing the white haired man clad in a grey and green trimmed suit, Glynda nodded and paused before his desk, "I am, because you called me." Was the headmaster's memory slipping? He was getting on their in the years.
"Right, I did, didn't I?" Ozpin chuckled as his eyes turned back to the computer screen, locking eyes with the blonde man himself who was watching the camera with interest. There was a smirk and a wink, before the camera went dark. More interesting by the minute that one. "Say, would you like some help in the combat courses?"
Blinking as the question was certainly out of left field, Glynda considered the offer. "You haven't considered hiring a new instructor in years. Why now, and so close to the new term starting?" Honestly it would be a nightmare to onboard someone now. Never mind training and orientation, setting up room and board, familiarizing them with the grounds and the students. More, would they be informed of their, other, guest here? But, it would free her up to perform more of her duties she had to admit.
"I might have just had someone oh so fortuitously dropped right in my lap." Ozpin didn't know that man, but he had all the bearing of a warrior. Someone powerful. To be able to handle a potential student of theirs so easily was enough proof of that. He'd need to find him, gauge his worth. "I'm headed out my dear. I'll keep in contact on the scroll." Already pushing his chair out to stand, Ozpin made his way around the lone desk in the wide office space and brushed past the smartly dressed blonde.
"Sir, wait, is that wise? Now?" Something was wrong. Ozpin never moved with such haste. Whoever this was must be talented.
"Yes, I think now would be a good time." Something told Ozpin, it was either now, or never. He'd never seen this man before, nor had any recollection of him. And with as long lived as Ozpin was, he made note to remember all Hunters and Huntresses of note in Remnant. This man didn't trip any memory at all. He or his companions.
Gylnda hurried to keep pace with the Headmaster, a worried frown on her pale face. She reached up to adjust her glasses as they reached the elevator and hustled inside. "Should I come with you then sir?"
"No, weren't you on your way into the city for a quick patrol?" Ozpin remembered Glynda's routine, a hold over from her time as a full-time Huntress. Between terms she liked to keep busy with all manner of work and errands. Said it kept her sharp.
"I, yes sir." She heard the dismissal for what it was but she didn't like it. Both herself and the Headmaster gone from the school? If things weren't so peaceful she'd reject the idea right away. "I'll contact you if I find anything out of the ordinary."
"Please do Ms. Goodwitch." Ozpin smiled as the elevator descended into the depths of the school, mind already planning and calculating how best to entice such a person to his school. Or, worst case, make sure they didn't become a problem for him.

"So you don't know our father at all? Taiyang Xiao Long? Doesn't ring a bell even a little bit?" Yang grinned as she walked along next to the threesome family. This Naruto guy was pretty easy to get along with, and his wives were upbeat and chipper. Though she got the feeling the redhead could break her in half if she wanted to. "I'm betting you're family somewhere down the line. Gotta be with eyes like those." Ruby had gotten sidetracked a while ago, a dust shop by the looks of it. She'd swing back and pick her up later.
Chuckling and shaking his head, Naruto thumped his chest, "I can almost guarantee we aren't related at all." Not unless an Uzumaki figured out how to jump worlds a long time ago and just somehow ended up here. Either them or a Senju, but the Senju didn't have sealing abilities like that. "Besides, my power isn't like yours at all."
"I call bull." Yang was proud of her abilities and strength, and knew that most normal people could not handle her at all. This guy so casually brushed her off, he either had to be family or a Hunter, and he had already admitted to not being the latter. "No one's that strong."
Ino giggled and leaned into Naruto, "The world is a big place young lady. There's always someone stronger."
Yang tried to ignore the twinge in her heart. Her dad was prone to telling her much the same, and often, during their spars. "Uh huh, and I'm secretly a cat girl."
Tayuya smirked as the looked to the girl and eyed her hair, "You hide your ears well kitty-chan."
Blushing with a smile, Yang laughed it off and looked away form the three as they walked down the nearly empty street together, "Okay okay I'll quit." Pausing as she thought about it, and now that Ruby was gone she wouldn't feel so bad, "Sorry about ruining your night. That guy Junior just really pissed me off."
Ino side eyed Naruto, "Oh I can imagine what that's like, but apology accepted." Ino was already pulling free her pilfered goods off of one of those goons from earlier. They called their phones here scrolls did they? So many features. "Wanna exchange contact info? I'm sure we'll meet again in the future."
Yang nodded quickly, glad one of them brought it up and not her, "Absolutely."
Tayuya nudged Naruto as Ino and the girl began to chat back and forth, "Should we be worried that now even Ino is getting curious?" Whispered quietly to keep the younger girl out of the loop, Tayuya didn't miss Naruto's smirk.
"Must be something in the air." Naruto eyed a camera tracking their walk down the sidewalk, mentally sending another spike of chakra into it to kill it. "Yup."
Yang was already bouncing away, a happy carefree smile on her face as she waved to them, "I should get back to my family, gotta find my sister as well. Later!" And then she was gone, rushing down the street and out of sight.
That left the three adults to consider one another before Ino grinned and punched Naruto in the arm, "Don't give me that look, I'm just doing what I do best."
Tayuya eyed her sister wife with a leer, "That's funny, I don't see your mouth full of co-"
"AND with that, let's head to the hotel and settle in for the night shall we?" Naruto slung his arms around both women's shoulders, doing his best to head off an argument that could potentially spell more property damage and thus problems for him. "We had a good time, partied it up a little, got treated to a show and made a friend. I'd call that a good day yeah?"
Ino was eyeing Tayuya and flatly ignoring Naruto, "Oh I'll show you what I'm good at later."
"You'll try your best flower girl." Tayuya's eyes darkened for a second, while Ino's muscles bulged in reply.
"You're damned right I will."
Sighing and praying to every Kami he knew, Naruto ignored the sounds of sirens and explosions in the distance. It had nothing to do with them. "Can we not do this tonight. You told me not to fight, so the same goes for you." Unless this turned into the fun bedroom type of fighting. Then he'd be all for it. His hands curved around the soft midsections of both women, drawing them with a yelp into his sides. "Listen, if you both can be good girls, I'll give you some proper pampering tonight. Deal?"
Blushing and refusing to look at her husband, Tayuya nodded quickly, "I'll be good."
Ino huffed but accepted the win, "You're so easy." A pinch to her rear made her jump, "Not that I'm any different."
"That'a girl. Com'on, let's go before something else derails us." Naruto tried not to notice the flying craft the flew low overhead with roaring engines and its bay doors open. All three looked up, seeing a woman in a red dress with dark hair watching them as the craft pulled up into the night sky. More curiosities for the night then. "Not our business."
"That's right, not our business." Ino agreed completely, they were on the road for pampering and fun. This was a vacation, not work.
Tayuya didn't care at all so long as she got her Naru time. Even though something was beginning to prickle her senses, and it was closing in on them, "Huh, what is that?" Human sure but…it felt off. Wrong. Not Orochimaru wrong, but something close.
Naruto tried to increase their pace, "It's not our business." He really had meant it, he didn't want to get involved in whatever was going on with this world. Sure he was interested, but he had planned on coming back later, without the girls. When it wasn't supposed to be a vacation for them.
Ino could feel it too, coming pretty rapidly at that. "It's the Uzumaki luck."
A lone car pulled alongside them, a big luxurious thing much longer than it was wide. It was a nice looking limo all in all, though all three knew they were in for trying times because of it. Stopping just ahead of them, the man who stepped out of the rear was the center of their odd sense. Tall and white haired with glasses, of thin build and sporting a suit and a cane, the man bowed lightly to them. "Good evening, I was hoping I could have a moment of your time."
Naruto sighed, ready to walk past the man without a word, "Nope, no can do. Take whatever you're selling and-" An elbow found his ribs again, that had to be Tayuya, "What, what was that for?"
"Be nice."
"I'm trying to preserve our vacation here."
Tayuya hooked at thumb at the bemused man, "We can hear him out at least right? Then I can get my cookies." Plus, a riled up Naruto was a wild Naruto.
Blinking and seeing Tayuya and Ino seemed to be in on a joke he didn't get, Naruto sighed and eyed the man ahead of them, "Alright fine, who are you and what do ya want?"
"My name is Ozpin, Headmaster of Beacon Academy. And I'd like to offer you a job."
Naruto turned back to Tayuya, "This isn't my fault."
Ino poked him as she was already climbing into the limo, "Yes it is dear."
Tayuya patted him on the cheek, "You can't run away from your charm dear." Then she too was gone, leaving the two men alone on the street.
Grunting and scrubbing a hand through his hair, Naruto gave the being before him a dirty look, "This better be good."
Sure that he could make short work on the man, Ozpin remained calm. "I believe I can make it worth your time."
Naruto was already strolling forward, eyeing Ozpin quietly, "Careful there. Might be pledging more than you're willing to part with." And then he to was inside the limo. Just what had his luck landed them in now?

Honestly, I have no clue where I'm going with this, but hey, we follow the white rabbit around these parts and see where it leads us.
