Chapter 43: Icy Hot

Onyx met lavender.

In that fleeting moment, the heavy atmosphere of the Naka Shrine seemed to dissolve, leaving only the two of them standing in its sacred space. Without a word, they closed the distance between them, Goku and Hinata running toward each other with a desperation that spoke volumes. When they collided, the force of their embrace was powerful enough to push the air out of their lungs. Goku's strong arms wrapped around Hinata, lifting her slightly off the ground, while she clung to him as if she never wanted to let go. The unspoken emotions, the longing, and the silent conversations of over a year apart filled the space between them.

Hinata's heart was already heavy with the events that had turned Sasuke's life upside down. Itachi's return to Konoha, his cryptic departure, and Madara's revelations about the Uchiha massacre had left her reeling. In that moment, all she wanted was to be held, to feel grounded amidst the chaos. Goku's embrace provided that solace, and for a few precious seconds, she allowed herself to simply exist in his arms.

As they pulled back, their eyes met again, and they took a moment to truly see each other. Goku had grown taller, finally standing slightly above her. His wild hair was as untamed as ever, but there was a maturity in his eyes that hadn't been there before. Hinata's lavender eyes, once filled with shy admiration, now held a depth of experience and strength. Her mid-length ponytail swayed gently as she moved, framing her face and highlighting the strength within that had blossomed over the past year.

"Son Goku," Hinata began, her voice a mix of relief and sadness, "so much has happened since you left."

Goku nodded, his expression serious. "I can tell. It's been a crazy year for me too. I've been all over the place, trying to get stronger, trying to figure things out."

Hinata gestured for him to sit beside her on the stone steps of the shrine. As they settled, she took a deep breath and began to explain the recent events. "Itachi came back to Konoha, and everything changed. Sasuke found out the truth about the Uchiha massacre from Madara. He's been struggling with it, and it's tearing him apart."

Goku listened intently, his brows furrowing with concern. "Itachi was working for Konoha this whole time? That's… that's messed up."

Hinata nodded, her eyes glistening. "Hai, and now Sasuke wants revenge. He's so consumed by his anger and hatred. I'm trying to help him, but it's hard."

Goku placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "You're doing your best, Hinata. That's all anyone can ask. Sometimes people have to find their own way through the darkness."

Hinata managed a small smile. "Thank you Goku. I just… I wish there was more I could do for him."

They sat in silence for a moment, the weight of their conversation hanging between them. Then Goku spoke up again. "I actually came here for a reason too. I'm looking for the Dragon Balls. I need to collect them to wish back everyone who was killed by Piccolo Daimao and his sons."

Hinata's eyes widened slightly. "The Dragon Balls? So that's why you're here."

Goku nodded. "Yeah. I've already found five of them. I'm hoping the one here can help me finish what I started."

Hinata looked down at her hands, her mind racing. She thought about the four-star Dragon Ball she had found with Akamaru, the one she had kept close ever since. It felt like a connection to Goku, a piece of him she could hold onto.

"I have the four-star Dragon Ball," she said softly, meeting Goku's eyes again. "But I… I wanted to keep it until you came back."

Goku's expression softened. "Hinata, I understand. But still, we need to bring everyone back. The sooner we have all the Dragon Balls, the sooner we can make things right."

Hinata nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of the situation.

Goku could still feel the intensity in the air. Sasuke sat directly near the Naka Shrine, the weight of his recent revelations bearing heavily on his shoulders. His dark eyes, alight with the fiery red of the Mangekyo Sharingan, glared at the ground, lost in the turmoil of his thoughts. His eyes bled profusely.

Goku approached him, his usual carefree demeanor tinged with a seriousness that matched the situation.

"Hey, Sasuke," Goku said, breaking the silence. "I know you're dealing with a lot right now. But I think you need to let some of that out. What do you say we have a little spar?"

Sasuke looked up, his eyes narrowing at Goku. "A spar? You want to fight me now? After everything that's happened?"

Goku nodded, a determined glint in his eye. "Yeah. I think it'll help. Let's get away from here, though. I don't wanna destroy anything important."

Without waiting for a response, Goku took off, flying a short distance away from the shrine. Sasuke and Hinata followed, the formers anger simmering just below the surface. They landed in a wide-open clearing, far from any prying eyes.

"Ready when you are," Goku said, adopting his fighting stance.

Sasuke's face twisted in a mix of anger and frustration. "You have no idea what I'm feeling right now, Goku. I'll just have to show you!" His Mangekyo Sharingan flared, and he charged at Goku, Chidori crackling in his hand.

Goku dodged the initial strike, feeling the air sizzle where Sasuke's lightning-charged hand had passed. Sasuke didn't let up, launching a flurry of punches and kicks, each one fueled by his seething hatred. Goku blocked and parried with ease, his movements fluid and controlled.

"Come on, Sasuke, you can do better than that," Goku taunted, trying to goad Sasuke into pushing himself harder.

Sasuke's rage intensified. He jumped back and formed hand seals rapidly. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" A massive fireball erupted from his mouth, scorching the ground as it hurtled toward Goku.

Goku leaped into the air, avoiding the fireball, but Sasuke was already on him, his personal Kusanagi sword drawn and eyes blazing. Before the reader gets confused, reread the aftermath of the Kill Orochimaru team's mission.

That being said, Goku caught the blade with his bare hands, the force of the strike sending a shockwave through the air.

"Is that all you've got?" Goku said, his grip on the sword unyielding.

Sasuke's eyes widened in fury. "Shut the fuck up!" He unleashed a barrage of lightning-enhanced strikes, each one faster and more vicious than the last. Goku took the hits, feeling almost negligible pain but not backing down. He could see the anguish in Sasuke's eyes, the desperation to prove himself.

"Why are you so strong?" Sasuke shouted, his voice cracking with emotion. "Why can't I be as strong as you?"

Goku released the sword and delivered a swift punch to Sasuke's gut, sending him sprawling. "Because strength comes from more than just power, Sasuke. It comes from knowing who you are and what you're fighting for."

Sasuke staggered to his feet, his Sharingan spinning wildly. "I know who I am. I'm an avenger!" He summoned his Susanoo, the skeletal form wrapping around him protectively. "I'll destroy everything that's caused me pain. Starting with you!"

Goku stood his ground, his eyes steady. "Destroy me then, Sasuke. Do it."

He could feel the intense hatred radiating from his friend, a palpable force that seemed to darken the air around them. Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan flared with a vicious intensity, reflecting the turmoil inside him.

"Why are you so much stronger than me?" Sasuke repeated, his voice cracking with emotion. "Why am I always behind you, behind everyone relevant?"

Goku's expression softened slightly. "It's not about being stronger, Sasuke. It's about finding your own path."

Sasuke's rage only grew at Goku's words. "Shut up! You don't understand anything!" He charged, his Chidori once again crackling with lightning, aiming straight for Goku's heart.

Goku sidestepped the attack, but Sasuke was relentless, launching a series of rapid strikes with his sword. Goku blocked and parried, his movements fluid and precise, but he could see the desperation in Sasuke's eyes.

"You think you're better than me?" Sasuke snarled, his voice dripping with venom. "I'll show you what real power is!"

He jumped back, forming hand seals rapidly. "Amaterasu!" Black flames erupted from his eyes, racing toward Goku with lethal intent. Goku's eyes widened as he dodged the flames, feeling their intense heat as they licked at the air around him.

Sasuke didn't give him a moment to recover, following up with his recently learned Enton: Kagutsuchi, shaping the black flames into spears and hurling them at Goku. Goku barely had time to react, leaping and flipping through the air to avoid the deadly projectiles. One spear grazed his arm, the searing pain of the heat forcing a mere grunt from his lips.

"You're not getting away that easily!" Sasuke roared, his voice filled with fury. He formed more hand seals, lightning crackling around him. "Kirin!"

Dark clouds gathered above them, lightning dancing through the sky. Sasuke directed the bolt of lightning with a fierce determination, aiming it straight at Goku. The air vibrated with energy as the powerful technique descended.

Goku braced himself, gathering his own energy. Just as the lightning bolt struck, he unleashed a powerful Kiai wave, the force of his mere shout meeting the lightning head-on. The resulting explosion shook the ground, sending shockwaves through the clearing.

As the dust settled, Goku stood firm, his breathing completely fine. Sasuke, on the other hand, was panting, his chakra nearly depleted from the intense assault.

"Why won't you just die?" Sasuke shouted, his voice raw with frustration. "Why can't I defeat you?"

Goku's eyes softened. "Because you're not fighting with your heart, Sasuke. You're letting your hatred control you."

Sasuke's eyes blazed with anger. "I don't need your lectures! I need power!" He charged again, his movements fueled by sheer rage.

Goku met him head-on, their fists colliding with a force that sent shockwaves through the air. Sasuke's attacks were wild and desperate, each one filled with the intent to kill. But Goku's defense was unyielding, his movements controlled and precise.

As they clashed, Goku could see the conflict in Sasuke's eyes, the turmoil of his identity crisis and the crushing weight of his own perceived inferiority. He was fighting not just Goku, but himself.

"You think you're the only one who's struggled?" Goku said, dodging another strike. "We all have our battles, Sasuke. But this isn't the way to win yours."

"Shut up!" Sasuke screamed, his voice breaking. "You don't know anything!"

The Susanoo's arm swung down, aiming to crush Goku. He caught the blow, the ground beneath him cracking from the impact. Sasuke pushed harder, but Goku held firm, his muscles not budging at all against the colossal force.

With a roar, Goku pushed back, shattering the Susanoo's arm. Sasuke staggered, his eyes wide with shock. "How… how the hell are you doing this?"

Goku flashed behind him, his speed almost imperceptible. "Because I'm fighting for something more than just myself." He delivered a powerful kick to Sasuke's back, sending him crashing into the ground.

Sasuke groaned, struggling to stand. "I… I won't lose to you," he muttered, summoning his Susanoo once more, this time in a more complete form.

Goku sighed. "You're not getting it, Sasuke." He charged forward, his fist glowing with energy. "This isn't about winning or losing. It's about finding yourself."

He struck the Susanoo with a nice amount of force, shattering it completely. Sasuke fell to his knees, his chakra almost completely depleted and his body trembling. However, he refused to give in. The Uchiha unleashed a final, desperate Chidori, aiming to end the fight once and for all.

BZZZZTTT!

Goku caught Sasuke's wrist, the lightning crackling between them.

"I know a bit more than you think," Goku said softly, his grip firm but gentle. "And I know you can be stronger than this."

Sasuke's eyes widened, the rage in them flickering as he looked into Goku's unwavering gaze. His hand trembled, the Chidori sputtering out as his energy finally gave way.

Goku released Sasuke's wrist, stepping back as his friend collapsed to his knees, panting heavily. The ground around them was scorched and shattered, a testament to the intensity of their battle.

"You... you're still holding back," Sasuke said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Goku nodded. "Because I don't wanna hurt you, Sasuke. I just wanna help."

Sasuke looked up, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and confusion. "Why? Why do you care?"

Goku smiled gently. "Because you're my friend."

Before the Uchiha could do any more self harm, Goku punched Sasuke in the gut with the intent to end the fight. The force of the punch nearly knocked the chunin unconscious, his vision blurring as he struggled to stay awake.

"That's enough," Goku said softly, catching Sasuke before he fell. "You've done enough."

At that moment, Haku appeared, her eyes widening in horror as she saw Sasuke's state. "What have you done to him?" she screamed, launching herself at Goku.

Goku did not even move as Haku's attacks bounced off him, her ice techniques shattering against his skin.

Hinata stepped in, placing a hand on Haku's shoulder. "Stop, Haku. This was a therapy session. Goku wasn't trying to hurt him."

Haku paused, her eyes flickering with confusion. "A… therapy session?"

Goku nodded, gently lowering Sasuke to the ground. "He needed to let it all out. Sometimes, fighting is the only way."

Haku's anger slowly ebbed away, replaced by concern for Sasuke. "Is he going to be okay?"

Hinata knelt beside Sasuke, checking his condition. "He'll be fine. He just needs some rest."

As the tension in the air began to dissipate, Goku looked at Hinata and Haku, his expression serious. "Give me and him a moment real quick. Sasuke's not alone in this."

The two women nodded in compliance, noting Goku's seriousness as a request that they couldn't conceivably refuse. The Saiyan then sat beside the downed Sasuke, the latter of them catching his breath after the intense fight. The Uchiha's eyes, still blazing with the remnants of his rage, met Goku's calm, yet serious gaze.

"Why would do that, Goku?" Sasuke asked, his voice hoarse from the exertion and emotion. "Why are we friends? I hate you."

Goku sighed, running a hand through his wild hair. "Because, Sasuke, I know what it's like to be lied to about who you are."

Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"

Goku leaned back, staring up at the darkening sky. "I don't know much about my origins. I was found as a baby, and ever since, I've had this feeling that there's more to my story than anyone's telling me. People have always treated me a bit differently, like they knew something I didn't."

Sasuke listened, his anger momentarily replaced by curiosity. "You think you're... what? An alien or something? You really believe that?"

Goku shrugged. "Maybe. All I know is that I've got this power, and I've had to figure out how to use it on my own. I don't have all the answers, but I know what it's like to feel out of place, to feel like you're missing something important."

Sasuke's expression softened, the rawness of Goku's honesty cutting through his own bitterness. "So what do you suggest I do? Just keep fighting?"

Goku nodded, his eyes fierce. "Yeah, keep fighting. Not just for revenge, but for yourself. Fight to find out who you are and what you stand for. But remember this: I will stop you if you try to harm the innocent or those who don't deserve it."

Sasuke clenched his fists, his knuckles white. "And if I choose to ignore that? If I decide that my revenge means more than anything else?"

Goku's gaze didn't waver. "Then I'll have to kick your ass again. And again, if necessary."

A tense silence stretched between them, the weight of Goku's words settling in. Sasuke's shoulders sagged, the fight leaving his body in a rush. "Fine. I'll agree to your terms. Not because I want to, but because I know I don't have a choice."

Goku smiled slightly, offering a hand to help Sasuke up. "Good. That's a start."

As Sasuke stood, he winced from the pain. Goku looked completely unfazed. "You really are something else, Son Goku."

Goku laughed lightly. "Well, I've had a lot of practice."

Sasuke glanced at Goku, a question burning in his mind. "Goku, do you really think you can find out the truth about yourself?"

Goku's expression turned serious again. "I have to. If there's more to my story, then I need to know it. And I will find out, no matter what it takes."

Sasuke nodded, a newfound respect for Goku growing within him. "Then I guess we're both on a journey for answers."

"Yeah," Goku agreed. "And maybe, along the way, we can help each other out."

After a few more moments, Sasuke decided to go home to clear his mind and rest. Haku gently helped Sasuke walk, her delicate hands supporting his weight as she looped his arm around her shoulders. The night air was cool, a stark contrast to the heat of the earlier battles. Sasuke's breaths were still heavy, his body aching from the intensity of his emotions and the physical exertion.

"Sasuke-kun... " Haku said softly, her voice a soothing balm to his frayed nerves. "Let's get you back and try this new healing technique. You need to be at one-hundred percent and ready for the mission tomorrow."

Sasuke nodded, his eyes still clouded with the remnants of his rage. "Thank you, Haku."

As they walked back to his abode, Haku's presence was a steadying force, her calm demeanor contrasting with Sasuke's inner turmoil. She could feel the tension in his muscles, the unresolved anger simmering just beneath the surface. But for now, she focused on getting him the care he needed.

Meanwhile, back at the destroyed area in a remote part of the village, Goku and Hinata finally had a moment to themselves. The intensity of the day had left them both emotionally drained, but there was a sense of relief in being together again after so long.

Hinata looked at Goku, her lavender eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "Goku, so much has happened since you left."

Goku nodded, his onyx eyes softening as he listened. "Tell me everything, Hinata."

Hinata took a deep breath and began to recount her experiences over the past year. She spoke of her training, the missions she undertook, and the challenges she faced. Her voice was steady, but Goku could hear the underlying strength and resilience in her words.

"I've become so much stronger, Goku. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well," Hinata said, her voice tinged with a hint of pride. "I've had to face a few obstacles, but I've learned to be stronger than what was in front of me."

Goku listened intently, his respect for Hinata growing with each word. He could see the changes in her, the way she carried herself with smooth confidence and power. She was even more awesome than the last time she saw her, and her developing body was a multitude of cherry's on top.

As Hinata continued, Goku's mind wandered to his own experiences over the past year. He thought about his battles, his training, the new friends he had made, his ventures across the world, and most notably his stint as a construction worker and resource gatherer for Suna. But there were some things he chose to keep to himself such as Ino and Chi-Chi, knowing that certain details might complicate their reunion.

Their moment of reflection was interrupted by a sudden blur of white fur as Akamaru tackled Goku with a joyful bark. Goku laughed, his carefree nature shining through as he embraced the affectionate dog.

"Akamaru! I've missed you too, buddy!" Goku said, ruffling the dog's fur as Akamaru licked his face with boundless enthusiasm.

Hinata smiled, the sight of Goku and Akamaru together bringing a sense of normalcy to the chaotic day. Her heart felt lighter, the weight of the past year's struggles momentarily lifting.

Just then, Yugao appeared from seemingly nowhere, her presence calm and composed as always.

She and Goku shared a warm hug, a brotherly-sisterly bond evident in their embrace.

"I've missed your spirit, otouto," Yugao said, her voice filled with genuine affection.

Goku grinned. "I've missed you too, nee-chan."

As they settled down, Goku began to recount his past year's experiences, carefully omitting certain details to keep the peace. He spoke of his battles, his training, his ventures, the friends he had made along the way, Lee defeating Snare in a fight that destroyed Suna completely, and his five months of boredom in helping to rebuid it. Hinata and Yugao listened intently, their expressions a mix of admiration and curiosity.

"It's been a wild ride," Goku admitted, his tone both light and serious. "But through it all, I've realized that there's still so much more to learn and discover."

Hinata nodded, her eyes reflecting a deep understanding. "We're here now, and that's what matters."

Yugao added, "The world is changing, and we have to be ready for whatever comes next. But with people like you, Goku, I know we can face anything."

The conversation continued late into the night, the three of them sharing stories, laughter, and moments of quiet reflection. The moon cast a soft glow over Konoha, illuminating the trio of Goku, Hinata, and Yugao as they gathered under the starlit sky. The weight of their impending battle with Piccolo Daimao hung heavily over them.

"I'm going to use the radar to track the seven-star ball," Goku said, holding up the Dragon Radar. "I can feel some really foul ki signatures coming from that direction. It has to be him and his guys."

Yugao stepped closer to Goku, her eyes filled with concern. She kissed him gently on the forehead. "Good luck, Goku," she whispered. "I know you can, and you will, save us all. Congratulations in advance." With that, she vanished into the night, leaving a faint trace of her presence behind.

Hinata did not react to Yugao's display of sisterly affection. Instead, she reached into her pocket and pulled out the four-star ball. Holding it out to Goku, she locked eyes with him.

"Here," she said, her voice firm. But as Goku reached for it, she retracted her hand. "On one condition," she continued, her tone commanding. "Take me with you to defeat Piccolo Daimao. I want to be on the front lines."

Goku raised an eyebrow. "Hinata, you already proved more than enough times that you're awesome. You don't have to do this."

Hinata's eyes narrowed with a smile of mirth gracing her lips. "Clearly, it wasn't good enough for you," she retorted. "I'm going to show you just how great I am. Then you'll never leave me behind so easily and haplessly ever again. My existence will matter to you."

Goku scratched his head, a bit perplexed. "I didn't think you cared that much about my actions."

Hinata shrugged, a happy sigh escaping her lips as she closed her eyes. "I used to care, but nowadays not nearly as much. I'm kinda above it at this point. Either you want to be around me or you don't. No matter what, I'm not bound to your choices or decisions anymore. We're both free to do whatever we desire."

Inwardly, Goku didn't like the thought of Hinata not caring about what he did, but he appreciated her newfound strength. He could dig it. So he agreed to her demands with a nod.

Before they could exit the area, Tenten approached them, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Goku, Hinata," she called out, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "I've been working on something new. You have to see it."

Goku and Hinata exchanged curious glances before following Tenten. She led them to a clean, open area where she revealed her latest creation: the Mark 1 Armor. It was sleek, fitted with advanced weaponry relative to the shinobi world, and glowed with a faint blue light.

Tenten beamed with pride. "This is my Iron Girl armor," she announced. "I want to test its limits with you, Goku, before my debut tomorrow."

Goku's eyes lit up with interest. "Sounds awesome! Let's do it."

The test began with flight speed. Tenten activated the thrusters on her armor, launching into the air with a burst of energy. She soared through the sky, leaving a trail of blue light behind her. Goku followed closely, curating his own speed to match hers. They weaved through the air, performing intricate maneuvers and testing the armor's agility. Tenten's suit responded flawlessly, adjusting to her every movement with precision.

Next, they moved on to strength tests. Tenten landed gracefully, and Goku handed her a massive boulder created from his fight with Sasuke. With a smirk, she lifted it effortlessly, the suit's enhanced strength boosting her capabilities. She tossed the boulder into the air, and Goku caught it, throwing it back to her. They continued this game of catch with increasingly heavier objects, each time Tenten demonstrating the suit's incredible power.

Then came the test of offensive abilities. Tenten's eyes glinted with determination as she activated the energy repulsors on her palms. She fired a blast at a distant target, the beam of energy cutting through the air with precision. Goku watched in awe as she switched to homing missiles, each one locking onto a target and exploding upon impact. The suit's weaponry was formidable, a true testament to Tenten's ingenuity.

For the final test, Tenten activated the energy saber. A blade of pure energy extended from her wrist, glowing with a fierce blue light. She moved with incredible speed and grace, slicing through targets with ease. Goku nodded approvingly, impressed by the suit's versatility.

"Alright, Tenten," Goku said, a grin spreading across his face. "Let's see how you handle a real fight."

They engaged in a friendly sparring match, Tenten's Iron Girl suit giving her the edge in agility and strength. She moved with fluidity, her strikes precise and powerful. Goku, holding back severely to avoid causing any serious damage, was impressed by her skill. They exchanged blows, the sound of their clash echoing through the night.

After a brief skirmish, Tenten called it off, satisfied with her capabilities. "This is amazing, Tenten," Goku said, admiration evident in his voice. "You've really outdone yourself."

Hinata nodded in agreement. "That was incredible. Your suit will definitely make a huge difference."

Tenten smiled, basking in their praises. "Thanks, guys. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

They talked a bit more about strategy and the upcoming challenges. As the night grew deeper, they knew it was time to rest.

Tomorrow would determine everything.

Sasuke sat on the edge of the bed, his head buried in his hands. The room was dark, the only light coming from the flickering candles casting shadows on the walls. The day's events played over and over in his mind, each revelation and betrayal twisting the knife deeper into his heart.

Haku knelt beside him, her hand resting gently on his back. "Sasuke-kun," she whispered, her voice a soothing balm against the chaos in his mind. "Talk to me."

Sasuke's shoulders tensed, and he jerked away from her touch. "How can I?" he spat, his voice raw with pain. "How can I talk about this? Everything I believed in, everything I fought for—it's all a lie."

Haku's eyes flashed with determination, the fire within her burning bright. "We need to talk about it, Sasuke," she said firmly, dropping the honorific. "I won't let you carry this burden alone."

Sasuke's anger flared. "And what do you know about carrying burdens?" he snarled. "You think you understand me? You think you know what it's like to have your entire clan slaughtered by the people you trusted?"

Haku's expression hardened, and she stood up, her eyes blazing. "Don't you dare underestimate me," she said, her voice cold and unyielding. "I've lost people too. I've been used and discarded. But I chose to fight for something better. I chose to stand by you."

Sasuke's rage reached its breaking point, and he sprang to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury. "You think you understand my pain?!" he shouted, his voice echoing off the walls.

Haku met his gaze unflinchingly. "You're not alone in your suffering, Sasuke," she said, her tone steady. "But you don't have to bear it alone. I've been here for you, always!"

The air between them crackled with unspoken emotions, a palpable tension that filled the room like an impending storm. As Sasuke's anger began to ebb, it was replaced by a profound sorrow that seemed to hollow out his very soul. He reached out, his hand trembling, and gently cupped Haku's cheek.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice breaking with the weight of his regret. "I'm so sorry, Haku."

Haku's eyes softened, yet the fierce determination remained. She leaned into his touch, her hand covering his. "I know," she murmured gently. "I know."

Their bodies moved closer, the space between them disappearing in an instant as their breaths mingled in the cool air. The intensity in their eyes spoke volumes, conveying a torrent of emotions that words could never capture. When their lips finally met, it was a fierce and desperate kiss, a clash of raw emotion and unspoken words. It was a kiss that carried the weight of their shared pain, their love, and the unbreakable bond that had formed between them through numerous battles and hardships.

"Mmm," Haku sighed against his lips, the sound a testament to the pent-up emotions bursting forth.

The kiss quickly deepened, becoming more primal and urgent with each passing second. Sasuke's hands roamed over Haku's body, his grip tightening as if she were his lifeline. His fingers traced the contours of her frame, exploring the familiar yet always thrilling territory. Every touch ignited a spark between them, their connection blazing hotter than ever before. Haku responded with equal fervor, her fingers digging into his back, leaving marks in their wake as she pulled him closer, refusing to let go.

"Ah," Sasuke groaned softly, the sensation of her nails sending waves of heat through his body.

The passion between them was electric, their movements synchronized in a dance of desire and need. Sasuke's lips trailed down Haku's neck, leaving a path of burning kisses that made her gasp and arch into him. "Oh!" Her breath hitched as his hands found their way under her shirt, his touch sending shivers down her spine. She could feel the strength and determination in his every move, the intensity of his feelings pouring out in the way he held her, kissed her, and worshiped her body.

Haku's hands were not idle either, her fingers weaving through Sasuke's hair, pulling him closer as if to merge their very beings.

"Mmm," she hummed, the vibrations resonating through him. She marveled at the power and vulnerability he showed, the way he let down his guard completely in these moments with her. Their kisses grew hungrier, more demanding, each one a promise of their unwavering commitment and the deep, unspoken love they shared. The world around them faded away, leaving only the two of them, lost in the fervent embrace of their passion.

As their kiss continued, time seemed to stand still. Their hearts pounded in unison, their breaths coming in ragged gasps as they clung to each other. Every touch, every kiss, every caress was a reaffirmation of their bond, a testament to the strength and depth of their connection. "Sasuke-kun... " Haku whispered, her voice a mix of adoration and need.

They tumbled onto the bed, their clothes ripped away in a frenzy of desire, leaving them fully revealed to one another for the very first time. The dim light cast shadows that danced on the walls, creating an intimate atmosphere that heightened their senses. Haku's hands glowed with icy blue chakra as she performed her "healing genjutsu," her touch sending ripples of cold fire through Sasuke's body. The damp, icy sensation against his skin made him gasp in pleasure, his breath hitching as the chilling energy surged through his veins.

"Mmm, Haku," Sasuke groaned, his voice thick with need. Her touch was both gentle and fierce, a tantalizing mix that drove him wild. She moved over him with a grace that belied the raw passion between them, her icy ninjutsu heightening his senses and pushing him to the brink of ecstasy. "More," he whispered, his hands gripping her buttocks, urging her closer.

Acting off of instincts previously unknown to him, Sasuke's hands found her breasts as Haku's breath came in short gasps, her body responding to his touch with an intensity that left her dizzy. Sasuke's mouth followed the path of his hands, kissing and sucking at the swell of her breasts, drawing moans from deep within her.

Leaving a trail of kisses all the way down to her perfectly shaved oasis, Haku aggressively grabbed Sasuke's hair and jammed his face into her waterfalls that threatened to leak if he did his job correctly. Despite this being their first time going nearly this far, both of them understood the basics of their mission. Sasuke's eyes turned scarlet with the activation of his Sharingan, and he went to work as delicately as he could. His tongue tasted the ice, his fingers caressed the folds of the oasis, and his delicate approach converted into a more pressurized, blizzard technique that saw Haku's pleasure ascend out of this world. The oasis tasted wonderfully, and Sasuke found himself having fun?

He was enjoying this. With each stroke of the tongue and added pressure being applied, the waterfalls of Haku began to cascade, eventually culminating into an explosion of dampness onto his face as the woman screamed in pleasure. They locked eyes after, scarlet meeting a rich, dark brown. And then the kissing continued with an aggression, as they were nowhere near finished. They tussled on the bed for supremacy, with Haku claiming victory by using her ninjutsu to chain Sasuke to the bed with icy handcuffs.

"My turn," was all she whispered, before diving onto the deep end. Sasuke was curious to what genjutsu she was going to hit her with this time, and he was gobsmacked by the sensation of an icy yet warm mouth devouring his pale, fleshly Kusanagi sword. He was beyond cloud nine as she bobbed up and down the sword, cleaning it with pressurized water in her wake. Not stopping there, she performed her genjutsu on his two great fireball jutsu's as well, extinguishing the flames and generated a never before felt sense of euphoric proportions.

Sasuke could have died right then and there. Fuck Itachi, fuck Goku. He was good on killing them.

He felt his Kusanagi filling with liquid chakra, and after a few more moments of pressurized pleasure, he could no longer stop the unleashing of his energy. The chakra flowed through the sword and into the icy cave that was Haku's mouth, filling her up with his raw, youthful energy. Swallowing it like the good samaritan she was, Haku sat up, looking down at her partner with a... predatory gleam.

She wanted more. And so did he.

A few moments later, and their chakra's were restored to nearly peak capacity as the genjutsu continued toward the next level. Finding themselves in a position of Sasuke on top, he innately moved in a manner that generated intense friction between the areas of Kusanagi and the frosty oasis as he continued to kiss her, aggressively battling her tongue for dominance. However, he was still a rookie, and so the friction alone nearly caused him to unleash the rest of his chakra. Haku saved him though, carefully moving her oasis into an accessible position and helping to guide Sasuke's sword toward her entrance.

They shared one more look of lust, and then Sasuke entered without remorse, popping a frozen cherry and unthawing it. However, Haku was too clean to allow herself to bleed or cease the genjutsu on her first attempt. Using medical ninjutsu and ice, she actively recovered, soothing herself and Sasuke's sword in the process. He paused for a moment, and this angered Haku to the point that she started to work on his sword in order to reinitiate his aggression.

Sasuke's sword grew in size as he learned how to operate like the prodigy he was, his hips moving with more and more conviction as Haku helped him with her own activity. And then he smashed her. Sasuke's hatred completely melted away, replaced by a deep, all-consuming euphoria. Each thrust, each movement, brought him closer to a peace he had never known. He clung to Haku, his body trembling with the force of his emotions, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Haku," he murmured, his voice a hoarse whisper, "fuck."

Their bodies moved in perfect harmony, a seamless dance of desire and release.

"Ah... Sasuke," Haku sighed, her breath hot against his ear. The sound of their names intertwined with the rhythm of their lovemaking, a symphony of passion and connection. Her icy touch seemed to ignite a fire within him, burning away the darkness that had consumed him for so long. With each thrust, he felt the weight of his past lift, replaced by the overwhelming sensation of Haku's presence.

Cupping his face with both hands, Haku's tongue entered his mouth and dominated him, giving her the cue to flip their positions with her on top. She proceeded to pin him down once more with raw strength, and then she began to smash him. The oasis and the Kusanagi sword meshed together like peanut butter and jelly, or more accurately a hotdog and a bun. Moving back and forth, she rode him.

They moved together, a perfect blend of heat and ice, their bodies melding into one. Sasuke's breath came in ragged gasps, his senses overwhelmed by the intensity of their connection. The room was filled with the sounds of their passion, each cry, and moan a testament to the power of their bond.

They continued to experiment in different positions and learned more and more about each other on a primal level, using techniques they made up on the fly such as the "tiger jutsu", the "cowgirl jutsu", the "Akamaru", and more. They were still inexperienced however, so if they ever did this again, they would be more knowledgeable and capable performers.

As they approached the peak of their ecstasy, Sasuke felt a profound sense of release, his spirit cleansed by the fierce, unyielding love they shared.

"Haku-hime," he whispered, his voice filled with awe and gratitude. "I love you."

Haku's eyes filled with tears, and she pressed her forehead against his in a surreal moment. "I love you too, Sasuke-kun," she replied, her voice choked with emotion.

Their lips met in another fervent kiss, tongues dancing in a heated rhythm as their hands explored each other's bodies. Sasuke's fingers traced the contours of Haku's spine, sending shivers down her back as she arched into him. Each touch, each caress, was a silent declaration of their love and longing. Sasuke's hands gripped Haku's hips, pulling her closer as he deepened the kiss, their connection growing more intense with every passing moment.

"Ah, Sasuke," Haku gasped, her voice a mix of pleasure and need as her toes curled. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as their bodies pressed together, fitting perfectly like two pieces of a puzzle. Sasuke's heart raced, his desire for Haku burning hotter than ever before.

Their movements became more frantic, more desperate. The bed creaked under the force of their passion, their bodies colliding with a primal intensity. Haku's chakra-infused touch sent waves of pleasure through Sasuke, each icy caress igniting his senses. "Haku," he groaned, his voice husky with desire.

"Sasuke-kun," she moaned, her breath hitching as their bodies moved in sync, every touch, every kiss, and every insertion bringing them closer to the edge. The sound of their mingled breaths and the rhythmic creaking of the bed filled the room, creating a symphony of love and desire.

Icy Hot.

"Haku," Sasuke gasped, his voice raw with need. "I need you."

"I'm here," Haku whispered, her voice a soothing balm against his frayed nerves. "I'm here."

Their bodies moved in unison, a symphony of raw emotion and desire. Sasuke's hatred and anger were burned away in the fire of their passion, replaced by a deep, all-consuming love. Their breaths mingled, coming in short, heated gasps as they clung to each other. Haku's hands roamed over his taut muscles, feeling the tension ease under her touch.

"Ah... Haku," Sasuke groaned, his fingers threading through her silky hair. "Don't stop."

Haku's eyes, filled with love, met his as she kicked him off the bed and pressed him against the wall, her body molding to his. "Never," she breathed, capturing his lips in a searing kiss. Sasuke and Haku couldn't keep their hands off each other, the intense emotions of the day boiling over into a fever pitch. Their eyes locked as they moved together, their bodies crashing into one another with raw, primal need. Over and over and over again.

The genjutsu continued at high intensity intervals on the wall. Sasuke was taking her down in the best fight of his life.

Haku's hands roamed over Sasuke's body, her touch both demanding and tender. Sasuke responded with equal fervor, his fingers digging into her flesh as if anchoring himself to reality. He continued to enter her repeatedly, finding a rhythm despite this being his first tryst. The friction was almost too much to bear, but he was an avenger.

He had to restore his clan. He had people to kill. If he couldn't control his chakra now, he never would be able to control anything else in his life ever again.

"You're mine," Sasuke growled, his voice rough with desire. Haku's eyes blazed with the same intensity, her response a loud, "Always."

Their kisses were desperate, each one more urgent than the last. Sasuke's hands traced the contours of Haku's body, exploring every inch with a possessive hunger. Haku's nails raked down his back, leaving trails of fire in their wake as he continued penetrating her walls.

The room filled with the sounds of their passion, gasps and moans mingling with the creak of the bed, the slams against the wall, and feet colliding softly with the floor. Sasuke's lips found Haku's neck, his teeth grazing her skin and eliciting a shuddering gasp from her. She arched into him, her body begging for more.

"Sasuke-kun... " Haku whispered, her voice trembling with need. "Don't you... mmm... do not fucking... stop."

He didn't. Their movements became more frantic, their bodies moving in a primal dance of desire and need. Every touch, every kiss, every hit brought them closer to a euphoric peak. Haku's chakra-infused touch sent jolts of pleasure through Sasuke, each icy caress igniting his senses. And his own electric chakra nature buzzed through the female's veins, making her feel so damn good.

Icy Hot.

"You're... everything," Sasuke whispered, his voice raw with emotion.

"And you... are... mine," Haku replied, her eyes shining with love and affection.

With a final, desperate thrust, they reached their peak together, a wave of pleasure crashing over them both. Haku's nails dug into Sasuke's back, her cry of ecstasy muffled against his shoulder. Sasuke held her tightly, his own release leaving him breathless and trembling as his Kusanagi sword completely discharged all of his youthful chakra into Haku's oasis. As the waves of pleasure subsided, they lay entwined, their hearts beating in perfect unison. A crescendo of pleasure and emotion that left them breathless and sated. Collapsing onto the bed, they held each other close, their bodies entwined. For the first time in what had become seemingly forever, Sasuke felt truly at peace, his heart filled with love and contentment. Sasuke gently brushed a strand of hair from Haku's face, his eyes softening as he looked at her.

"Haku," he whispered again, his voice filled with love and gratitude. "I love you."

"I love you more," Haku responded, her voice a tender caress. They stayed like that, wrapped in each other's arms.

Haku's healing genjutsu had done more than heal Sasuke's body—it had healed his heart. He held her close, his arms wrapped around her, and for the first time in awhile, he slept soundly. Haku nestled against his chest, feeling the steady rise and fall of his breathing, knowing that their love had the power to overcome any darkness.

As they drifted into deeper sleep, their breaths synchronized, Sasuke knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would never face them alone. Haku was his anchor, his strength, his everything.

She was his.

And he was hers.

Icy Hot.

More importantly, Sasuke officially became a man. Right then and there.

He'd find out the consequences of his sinful actions in due time.

Goku woke up to the sound of distant footsteps and the faint rustle of the early morning breeze. The first light of dawn was just beginning to break, casting a soft glow over the village. Stretching and yawning, he immediately sensed familiar energy signatures moving toward the village gates: Hinata, Sasuke, Kakashi, Gai, and Tenten were already up and about.

His instincts kicked in, and within minutes, he was out the door of his portable capsule home, flying down to meet them. As he landed gracefully, he saw the determined expressions on their faces, their eyes reflecting anticipation.

"Goku," Kakashi greeted, his single visible eye narrowing slightly. "What are you planning to do?"

"I can sense other factions heading toward Piccolo Daimao's location," Goku replied, his tone serious yet calm. "I'm gonna visit them and try to convince them to join forces with us. We need all the strength we can get. And then I'm gonna bring Lee."

Gai's eyes sparkled with pride at the mention of Lee's power. "Lee has come far. His strength is indeed incredible."

Before anyone could say more, Goku turned to fly off, ready to execute his plan. But he felt a gentle yet firm grip on his wrist. He turned to see Hinata, her lavender eyes gazing intently into his.

"Take me with you," she said softly yet firmly. Her eyes conveyed a mixture of determination and something deeper that made Goku's heart skip a beat.

Without a word, Goku nodded. Hinata climbed onto his back, her arms wrapping securely around his shoulders. With a powerful leap, they soared into the sky, the village quickly becoming a distant speck below them.

As they flew, the wind whipping past them, Goku broke the silence. "Hinata, you're... even more badass than before. A lot more."

Hinata's grip tightened slightly. "I had to be. There's no room for anything else that looks like weakness, especially now."

Goku glanced back at her, a smile tugging at his lips. "You've always been strong, Hinata. Guess it just took some time away from me for you to see it yourself."

Hinata's cheeks flushed slightly, but she maintained her composure. "And you, Goku? What have you learned in the past year?"

Goku's expression grew thoughtful. "I've learned that there's so much more out there. So many people to protect, so many battles to fight. And I've realized that I need to understand more about myself, my origins. There's something... something that's been hidden from me, and I need to find out what it is."

Hinata nodded, understanding his words more deeply than he might have realized. "We'll figure it out Goku, we don't have a choice."

Goku and Hinata eventually descended from the sky, landing gracefully before the assembled team of Iwagakure's best. The tension in the air was tangible as the two sides sized each other up, the legendary Tsuchikage Ohnoki standing at the forefront with his stern, calculating gaze. Behind him were formidable shinobi and martial artists alike: Kurotsuchi, Akatsuchi, Han, Roshi, Kitsuchi, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Master Shen. They all emanated a palpable aura of strength and grittiness.

Goku stepped forward, his carefree demeanor contrasting with the serious faces of the Iwa shinobi. "Hey there! I'm Goku, and this is Hinata. We're here to talk about teaming up to take down Piccolo Daimao."

Ohnoki's eyes widened slightly. "Son Goku, the legendary warrior. I must admit, I didn't expect to meet you like this."

Roshi, the jinchūriki of the Four-Tails, chuckled. "Funny, my bijuu's name is Son Goku too."

Goku's eyes lit up with excitement. "Really? My master's name is Roshi. What a coincidence!"

The Iwa shinobi exchanged glances, some with raised eyebrows, others with amused smiles. Ohnoki chuckled, his stern facade momentarily cracking. "Well, it seems we have more in common than we thought. And you can fly too, huh? Not many can do that."

Goku grinned, hovering a few inches off the ground. "Yeah, it's pretty handy. Helps get around faster."

Laughter rippled through the group, the tension easing slightly. But it was short-lived as Goku brought the conversation back to the matter at hand.

"We need to team up," Goku said, his tone serious now. "Piccolo Daimao is too powerful for any one group to take down alone. We need to combine our strengths."

Ohnoki's expression hardened. "And why should we trust Konoha? Our villages have always been rivals. This could easily be a trap."

Hinata stepped forward, her lavender eyes meeting Ohnoki's with unwavering determination. "This isn't about village rivalries anymore. It's about the survival of everyone. Piccolo Daimao poses a threat to all of us. We need to set aside our differences, even if it's just for this fight."

The Iwa shinobi murmured among themselves, the old rivalries and grudges simmering beneath the surface. Tien, his eyes cold and calculating, stepped forward. "How do we know you're not just trying to use us? We've seen enough betrayal to last a lifetime."

Goku met Tien's gaze evenly. "I understand your hesitation. But I'm not asking you to trust me blindly. I'm asking you to see the bigger picture. Piccolo Daimao is a monster. We can't let our pride get in the way of stopping him."

Tien's eyes narrowed. "And what makes you think you're strong enough to lead this fight?"

Goku's smile turned into a challenging grin. "Because I am. I could take on all of you right now and win."

The bold statement sent a ripple of shock through the Iwa group. Tien clenched his fists. "Is that a challenge?"

Before the situation could escalate, Hinata stepped in. "This isn't the time for infighting. We can settle any disputes after Piccolo Daimao is defeated. Right now, we need to focus on the real threat."

Goku nodded, the playful glint in his eyes returning. "Hinata's right. We can have our fights later. For now, we gotta work together."

Ohnoki studied Goku and Hinata for a moment, weighing their words. Finally, he nodded slowly. "Very well. We will consider this temporary truce. But know this, Goku. If you betray us, we will not hesitate to bring you down."

Goku grinned, extending his hand. "Deal."

The Iwa team was divided in their opinions, some skeptical, others hopeful. As they shook hands, Tien muttered under his breath, "We'll see if you can back up your words."

Goku and Hinata took off, heading back toward a particular desert locale. The greenery blurred into a vast sea of sand as they soared over the vast desert towards Sunagakure, the heat radiating off the sediments below. As they approached the newly reconstructed but still developing village, Goku couldn't help but marvel at the transformation. Sunagakure had come a long way from the nothingness it had been left in months ago. The new buildings stood tall, and an air of resilience and renewal permeated the place.

They landed at the entrance of the Desert Hot Springs, a new addition to the village. Steam rose from the natural pools, and the sound of water created a soothing ambiance. Goku and Hinata quickly found Lee and Ino relaxing after an intense training session.

Lee, his body submerged in the warm water, grinned widely at their approach. "Goku! Hinata! What brings you to our little oasis?"

Goku got straight to the point. "Lee, we need you. There's a big fight coming, and we need all the help we can get."

Lee's eyes sparkled with determination, but before he could respond, Ino chimed in, her tone teasing. "Oh, so I guess the rest of us aren't needed, huh?"

Hinata stepped forward, her expression calm and composed. "Ino, it's not about who is needed or not. We just think Lee's strength will be crucial for this mission. Besides, you've done more than your fair share already, if Goku's stories are true."

Ino pouted but quickly regained her composure. "Well, I suppose someone has to stay back and keep this village running. Plus, I can finally get Goku all to myself if we survive this."

Hinata, noticing the playful yet underlying serious tone, smiled gently. "Ino, you're welcome to go after Goku as much as you want. I'm not concerned with your desire for him."

Ino's eyes widened slightly, a mix of surprise and intrigue dancing in them. "You really mean that, Hinata? Because, honestly, in the last five months, I almost took him from you completely."

Goku blinked in surprise, scratching his head. "Uh, what do you mean by that, Ino?"

Ino leaned back, her smirk turning mischievous. "Remember our last training session, Goku-kun? Things got pretty...intense."

Hinata raised an eyebrow, still calm. "I trust Goku. And besides, everyone makes their own choices. If Goku wanted to be with you, Ino, that would be his decision."

Ino studied Hinata for a moment, a hint of jealousy mixed with admiration. "You're really something, Hinata. You've changed a lot."

Lee, sensing the tension, decided to break it with his usual enthusiasm. "Well, enough about rivalries! Let's focus on the task at hand. We have a mission, and we need to give it our all!"

Lee climbed out of the hot spring, water dripping off his muscular frame. He quickly donned his fresh green spandex outfit, his eyes shining with readiness. Before he departed, he hugged Ino longingly, and she gave him a "friendly" kiss on the cheek, lingering a bit longer than she was supposed to.

"Stay safe Lee," she whispered, her voice tinged with genuine affection.

With his trademark thumbs up and sparkling teeth, Lee said, "Of course, Ino-chan! I'll come back stronger than ever!"

Goku, Hinata, and Lee left Suna and flew towards the rendezvous point of the Kiri no Kuni via Goku holding to Lee's wrists while Hinata clung to him in a piggyback style.

As they approached, Kakashi and the others were already waiting. Goku landed and addressed the group. "Alright everyone. We'll probably be heading to Kirigakure by boat due to our large numbers."

Hinata and Lee stood beside him, ready for the journey ahead. Goku then turned to the Konoha team. "Wait here for a minute."

That minute turned into half an hour, the team growing restless as they waited.

Sasuke, leaning against a tree, spoke up. "Why does it always take so long?"

Kakashi, ever patient, replied, "Goku has his ways. Trust the process."

Hinata, standing next to Goku, felt the anticipation building. "Goku, are you sure this is the right approach?"

Goku nodded. "Trust me, Hinata. This will work out."

The team continued to wait, the minutes ticking by. As dawn broke over the hidden mist, Team Iwa finally arrived at the rendezvous point, the tension thick in the air. The moment they appeared, the animosity between Team Iwa and Team Konoha became instant, with glares exchanged and hands drifting toward weapons. Goku stepped between them, his aura flaring just enough to demand their attention.

"Listen up," Goku said, his voice firm and commanding. "The only fight we're here for is against Piccolo Daimao. Anything else is a waste of time and energy."

His words cut through the tension, and the shinobi hesitated, grudgingly acknowledging his authority. Before anyone could respond, a ship conveniently appeared through the mist, large enough to accommodate both teams. Steering the vessel was none other than Tazuna, the bridge builder from the Land of Waves.

Tazuna's face was grim, his eyes hollow. "I don't give a damn about much these days, not since Gato killed my daughter and grandson. But I owe Konoha. So, if steering this ship is all I can do to help, then so be it."

The combined teams boarded the ship, the air still heavy with the unresolved tension. As they sailed through the mist, the two teams began to discuss their strategies. Kakashi, Gai, and Onoki led the discussions, mapping out potential attack formations and defensive maneuvers.

Hinata and Tenten were deep in conversation, exchanging ideas on how to best utilize their unique skills. Hinata's Byakugan and Tenten's arsenal of weaponry would play crucial roles in the upcoming battle. Meanwhile, Lee and Akatsuchi were engaged in an energetic conversation regarding who was the stronger of the two.

Sasuke stood apart, his eyes narrowed as he watched the Iwa shinobi warily. His recent revelations about his clan had left him more determined but also more isolated. Fuck everybody that wasn't Haku and to a lesser extent Hinata, Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi. Shikamaru was next on that list and Goku narrowly missed the cut, so fuck him too.

As the ship continued its journey, the teams fell into a rhythm, each member focusing on their role in the upcoming battle. Strategies were refined in the shared purpose of defeating a common enemy.

Hours passed, and the ship finally approached the shores near Kirigakure. The dense mist parted to reveal the war-torn landscape of the village, a grim reminder of the devastation wrought by Piccolo Daimao.

As they disembarked, Goku addressed the assembled shinobi. "Remember, we're here to fight Piccolo Daimao, not each other. Stay focused, stay sharp, and we'll get through this."

Onoki, the Tsuchikage, stepped forward, his gaze sweeping over the gathered forces. "This alliance is temporary, but necessary. We all have a common enemy. Let's make sure he knows the combined might of our villages."

The teams nodded in agreement, their resolve solidifying. Goku and Hinata led the way, their steps determined as they moved towards the heart of the village.

As they walked, Goku glanced at Hinata. "You ready for this?"

Hinata's lavender eyes met his onyx ones, her expression focused. "Always."

Piccolo Daimao was next to get his ass whooped.
