Ron the True Fan: And now, for the first time in… over a year… Allow me to welcome someone back for a guest appearance.
Takeshi Yamato: Yep! 117Jorn is back! At least for the chapter.
Ron the True Fan: More at the bottom. But read the chapter first.
Pallet Town - Oak Laboratory - 1147 hours local time - Day 271 of Ash Ketchum's Pokemon Journey
"In related news, Ransei has announced the engagement of Crown Princess Tatsuki Yamato to Rotan Crown Prince Ash Ketchum, which is said to have put an end to centuries of a animosity between the two--"
Ash groaned. WHY did they have to announce that? Belladonna cackled as the news came in. This was revenge for all the crap his Pokemon did to her.
"Look, Ash, I know the whole 'I'm not worthy' thing comes from… well, let's not beat around the bush, the whole Ho-oh thing…" Bell said, both wincing from the reminder. "But if you want some advice from your big sister?
He looked at her, prompting her to continue. "Love doesn't care. It doesn't care if you're not ready for it, it doesn't matter if you don't feel worthy of it." she started. "It will come out of nowhere, it will hit you and it will show you no mercy." she blushed. "It did for me. She just walked into my life during my last league run. I mean, I have a LOT of ex-girlfriends that I have… benefits with, but she… well, I fell in love with her and it just spiraled out of control from there-"
"I do NOT want to know." Ash said, because just like he didn't want to hear about his mother's love life, which didn't exist anymore, he sure as hell did NOT want to hear about his sister's.
"Really?" she asked. "Some people are into that sort of thing. Watching their hot sister making love to-"
"Pika." "What." both trainer and starter said at once.
Then the door opened. "Bell? You in here?" asked an unfamiliar female voice.
"Oh! Asuka!" Bell smiled, "Yeah, I'm here with Ash!" She glanced back at her brother "Perfect timing! You're finally gonna get to meet my girlfriend!"
Ash turned to look at the door and found a tall, leggy woman with dishwater-blonde hair wearing tight-fitting jeans that hugged her legs, a sweater, leather gloves and…
Well, Ash had one thing to say.
"How the hell has your back not given out?!" he exclaimed at the size of the woman's… assets. He was sure they were the size of her head! Or bigger!
The girl laughed which… bounced the massive orbs on her chest distractingly. "I'd say that was rude, but your sister said the same thing." she said. "I'm Asuka Nagisa. Bell's girlfriend." she then gave a look to Belladonna. "Her latest one."
"Not my fault no one fit." the eldest Ketchum said.
"Happy to be the one who did," Asuka giggled before she hugged Beil from behind, giving her a peck on the cheek. "Though, given how much of a harem master your brother's been… ever thought of broadening horizons, Belly?"
Ash groaned "You say that as if I had a choice…" he muttered.
The girl leaned towards him, grinning. "Come now, Ash! You're a ladykiller! Just accept it!" she declared, her massive assets bouncing.
Ash tried to take his eyes off the bouncing orbs. But she was taller then he was, so that was hard. He was trying, though.
Thankfully, the leggy blonde noticed and plopped down in a chair to help. "Looks like the rumors were true. You really ARE trying to be a gentleman." she said before pouting. "And I thought I could tease you…"
Ash had seven years of experience in letting girls down gently. He wasn't going to be THAT easy. Also, it helped that this lady was taken. "So…how did you meet Belladonna?" he asked.
"At the mall, honestly," Belladonna answered, "We just sorta bumped into each other looking through outfits,"
"This girl had zero fashion sense before I rescued her," Asuka chimed in, to which Belladonna pouted.
"I wasn't that bad…"
"Girl, if it weren't for me you'd be going head-first into the edgy emo goth getup at a hot topic," Asuka stated, "Which could be cute on you, it needs to be done right, and not just slap on a bunch of things and assume it looks good."
"Well, I wanted to look good for my League run…" Bell said defensively.
That Ash latched onto. "You're a trainer?" he asked, the girl grinning.
"Yup! I specialize in using steel-types!" she said cheerfully. "Didn't get very far in my league run as your sister, but… I didn't need to, really."
Ash mulled over her words… or rather, her voice. Her accent sounded familiar. "So…where are you from? Kanto?" he asked. "I didn't visit every town, so… maybe you could tell me so I can go visit."
"Oh I lived in Fuchsia," Asuka answered, "Well, before I moved to get closer to little miss cutie over here,"
"Stop it," Belladonna playfully smacked her, only making Asuka grin more.
And only half of that was the truth.
Ash had gotten some training from Aya and the TRio gave him constant, unending practice to pick out when people were lying out their asses.
But Asuka wasn't completely lying. A lot of her words were truthful. She did love Bell. She did move somewhere closer to be with Bell.
She just didn't move here from Fuschia. Her accent was all wrong: you picked up those local quirks as you learned to speak and you could never shake them. It sounded like it came from Johto.
Or Ransei.
Ash's eyes narrowed slightly, a subtle hint that said 'I know you're lying'. A subtle hint that Asuka picked up on as her irises dilated slightly.
He knew. And she knew that he knew. And he knew she knew he knew and so on and so forth. Fortunately, Ash wasn't going to call her out on it in front of her girlfriend.
Meanwhile
The egg was… wrong. It was mostly red, some yellows… it looked nothing like a Gible egg, Ranseian or otherwise.
"So… how did this come into being?" Kyoji asked, glancing at his own Gible.
"Gible!" 'Well, you know…I got myself a lady Gible friend…' his yellow land shark said. "Gib." 'So we decided to… well… you know… make more Gibles.'
The Gible from Selan looked at the egg she laid. "Gib." 'But this isn't a Gible egg. And if I mated with someone else, I'd KNOW.' she said.
"Its weird…" Kyoji muttered, "I mean, its got the same pattern of a Gible egg, but the colors are all off…"
The egg twitched.
"Gib?" 'Did it just move?'
It twitched again.
"Gible!" 'It's happening!' The Selan Gible jumped.
A few cracks started to appear on the egg… though curiously enough, some steam was coming out of the cracks. "…doesn't that usually only happen with fire-types?" Kyoji muttered, before the cracks grew in number and size… until…
CRACK!
CHOMP!
"GIBLE!" 'HI!'
…Kyoji expected the Chomp, it was second-nature to Gibles after all. And Pokemon - even babies - are born with the ability to speak somewhat…
…what he didn't expect… was the heat.
He plucked the baby land shark off his head, revealing a mostly red body with a yellow belly. Then he burped out fire as a flamethrower escaped his mouth.
"…Lava Gible?" he said incredulously. It made SENSE, but…
He still pulled out the Ranseian Pokedex for an analysis.
"Gible. The Land shark Pokemon. Electric/Ground-type. Error: new organs detected consistent with dragon-types." it said before redoubling. "Type confirmed: electric/ground. Note: egg moves detected as active: Flamethrower and Fire Fang."
That explained the steam.
Kyoji looked at the two Gibles "Did you two just birth a new breed of Gibles that could become fire/ground types?" He asked, as the little Gible giggled before hopping out of his hands and cuddled up with their parents.
"Gible…" 'No… he's a shiny!' the mother proclaimed. Kyoji blinked. Shiny? Oh, like the Magikarp! …this was the Ranseian Gible's shiny form?
…It was ADORABLE. "We need to show Ash. This'll cheer him up." he said. The lab was close by and Ash was spending time with his sister.
Knock-Knock "Ash! Ash you gotta see this!"
"Oh, is that Kyoji?" Belladonna asked.
"Who?" Asuka asked, blinking in confusion as Ash went for the door.
"Ash's friend from Ransei," She informed, "You could sorta say he helped get Ash in the… right mental space to start dating girls,"
"So what is it this time, Kyo-" Ash began to say, before…
"Gib!" A cute sound of a baby Gible could be heard… followed by a CHOMP and… sizzling?
Before his hair, head and more importantly hat were torched, he removed the Gible from his head, which burped out fire towards Belladonna, the tips of her hair catching fire.
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS YOU?!" his sister demanded, rushing to a bathroom to put her flaming hair out.
Asuka ran after her, Ash standing up to find Kyoji standing at the door, looking… a tad bit terrified.
It was nice to know Ash was right about Asuka being from Ransei. His reaction meant one thing: he KNEW Asuka somehow.
"So… who is she?" he asked before clarifying. "I know she's Ranseian: her accent is just like yours and Tatsuki's. Your reaction kinda confirmed it."
Kyoji bit his lip a bit, glancing from side to side. "I… um… n-not sure if I'm allowed to say or not…"
"Kyoji, I am about to be married to the crowned princess making me partially your boss," Ash stated, "Just tell me."
"…She's my boss's daughter…" he admitted.
"Aramaki?" Ash asked, raising an eyebrow.
"No, his boss." Kyoji groaned, "Asagi Hirotaka… she's basically the head of all Shinobi & Kunoichi operations of Ransei, she answers to one man: The Emperor and/or Empress of Ransei. All Ninja villages across the world operate under her orders, even after all these years of isolation. She is arguably the single most dangerous woman in Ransei…" He then blushed a bit, "And arguably sexiest, but Sabrina kinda rivals that position now…"
"…You DO remember she's my daughter technically, right?"
"She's fucking beautiful and I can't stop gushing about it, alright!?"
Ash sighed, but couldn't exactly disagree - he did find it a bit amusing how much Sabrina had the Spec-Ops Ninja wrapped around her finger. "Okay, so why is she here though?" He asked.
"Well… I mean, I assume she's on a mission or something," He shrugged, "She wouldn't be here unless her mother ordered it. No idea if the Emperor was involved though… kinda surprised she'd be allowed to deploy after the whole accident."
"Accident?" Ash raised an eyebrow.
"…that is not my place to say…"
"You don't need to give me the details." Ash stated before getting a mild grin. "But my mother SHOULD be informed…"
Kyoji blinked, wondering why Ash would try to ruin his sister's love life. Then he realized that Ash got the idea that he and Asuka had history - they did - and figured why not get some payback?
Besides, Ash was right.
A relationship built on lies was no relationship at all.
Serena STARED.
That blonde's boobs were HUGE! HOW were they so big?!
'...We need to be bigger.' Jade said.
'Seriously?' Astral Serena asked. 'Those things are massive and you want to outsize her?! You're not exactly flat!'
The horny personality mentally looked at the ghost of another timeline. 'Lady, Ash deserves nothing but the BEST.' she declared. 'He watched the universe die, he's tortured himself for years over the deaths he couldn't prevent, the pain he was forced to watch and how he pretended nothing was wrong all the time! So sue me if I don't think he deserves the best woman in EXISTENCE. And I'm a bit biased towards it being US.'
'I must point out that you are unable to get that big without extreme surgery.' Rey pointed out. 'Also, I must point out the massive back problems from having-'
'Massive milk tanks?' Jade said, the grin visible in her voice. 'Don't deny it: we all want them. I'm just the only one willing to SAY it!'
…The worst part was, she wasn't wrong…
Not even Astral Serena was going to argue with that.
'…So how do we do it?' asked Yuno, the yandere OF COURSE being on board with it.
"Psionics?' Jade suggested. 'Or maybe those protein shakes?'
'The hand of god?' Astral Serena suggested sarcastically.
'That's it! We talk to Arceus and… how big are those things?' Jade asked. 'Es?'
'I think they're Fs.' Rey said, before the blonde started kissing Belladonna.
'…we are NOT letting Ash's sister get the one who has the title of sexiest lady!' Jade declared.
Astral Serena was forced to agree.
Meanwhile…
A few miles away, a group of three young women were hiking their way down the road to Pallet, and crested a hill to see Oak's lab. All three were wearing light plate armor that was a mix of ceremonial and practical, with most of the chest armor actually being a light chainmail over a silk shirt, covered by somewhat thicker cotton that had been dyed, making it somewhat silent, if a bit warm, while their left shoulders had a single pauldron connecting to a breastplate.
All this signaling to those who were aware (and the readers are not-WHACK!) that these were junior members of the royal guard. Taggard didn't bother because the head was never supposed to go into the field, training the newer recruits. The chaotic situation meant he had to be in the field with Ash.
"FINALLY!" cried one of the women, with light blue and fell straight down to her waist and blue eyes. Her armor was given vibrant ocean blue highlights, as well. "It's been a week, but we finally made it!"
"Oh, lighten up, Umi," the leader of the group replied. She had short bright red hair and red eyes, and the highlights on her armor were predominantly a bright red. "It wasn't an easy trek, sure, but that made it an adventure!"
"Try 'hellish', Hikaru!" the bluenette, Umi, replied. "All the wild Pokemon attacks didn't help! Why didn't Lady Belladonna take us with her when she left?!"
"To be fair to her, she seemed more like she just wanted to go home," the third girl, blond with green eyes and having emerald green highlights to her armor, said softly. "I do agree that she should have brought us along, but we weren't assigned to her for very long and she might not have known about us."
"No excuse for us running into Beedrills, Pidgeots and freaking Natus of all things!" Umi screeched. "They SWARMED! SWARMED, damn it! Natus aren't swarmers!"
"Natus do a lot of things." Fuu commented.
Ketchum Residence - 1214 hours local time
At the Ketchum home, Robin was doing something… unknown.
Household duties.
In Orre, other then cleaning out sand, she had zero experience with these things. Cooking was a case of stealing MREs from Cipher - Ferran rations were garbage, but food was food - and washing?
Sand cleaned everything.
When she was in Cameran Castle, it was much the same, albeit with better MREs. Once they moved to Pallet against Taggard's wishes - Ash made sure Charizard voiced what he thought of being stuck there again to him - Delia decided to correct that issue. Normalcy had to be served.
That said, Delia was anything but normal. She pretended to be such, but she was still not only the daughter of Madam Boss, founder of Team Rocket, she was also ex-Elite Four and the first person to kill a Legendary in almost 4500 years. With a simple woodcutter's axe. Normal was something she was not.
It was a case of the blind being led by the colorblind. But at least the colorblind had an idea.
But it was still a learning experience to be with so much water.
Then the door opened. "Hey, mom!" Ash said, sounding a little too happy. A foreign thing nowadays.
Delia looked at the door. "Ash…" she started. "What are you up to?"
Kyoji followed Ash in. "Told you she'd see through it." he said dryly.
"Well, you know how I value honesty in a healthy relationship, Kyoji." Ash retorted. "And my mom deserves to know."
Delia turned to face her son. "Know what?" she asked, curious.
Ash snorted. "Oh, just that Bell's girlfriend is a liar." he replied. "She's not from Fuschia. She's a Ranseian special forces operative."
The air turned cold. "I'm sorry, what?" Delia demanded.
"It's true. She's the daughter of Ransei's special forces commander." Kyoji said. "She beat the shit out of me during a training match between the regs and the specs."
Delia narrowed her eyes. "Is that why she wears sweaters and pants all the time?" she demanded. "Tattoos? Gloves I can get: steel-types."
"Noo… she… has no limbs." Kyoji said cautiously.
"…what." Both Delia and Ash said in unison.
"The… exact details aren't known to me," He explained, "All I know is a Shadow Pokemon attack was involved, and she became a quadriplegic - but with Ranseian engineering she was given advanced prosthetics so she could not just live a normal life, but still serve in the spec-ops. It's… still a touchy topic for her, so she doesn't like showing them off. "
Ash decided to say something really stupid. Then again… "That might explain her chest." he said.
"Oh no, her rack was fucking massive long before the accident." Kyoji stated, "There are pictures to prove it."
"Ash…" Delia started darkly. "If you're doing this just to sabotage her love life-"
Ash shook his head. "No, I'm doing this because Bell deserves to know WHO her girlfriend is." he answered. "Dating an assassin is a bad idea."
"If you're worried that Asuka is a plant to harm your family, I highly doubt it." Kyoji spoke assuringly, "Assassination tactics are only aimed towards criminal enterprises and hostile political figures of foreign countries." Ash was about to speak. "Ransei knows better than to fuck with Rota's royalty."
"Taggard's assertions to the contrary." Ash said dryly.
Delia took off her apron. "I'm going to go have a talk with her." the matriarch announced before leaving the house for the lab.
Iris, busy with Axew, looked at him. "Are you serious about that whole openness thing?" she asked. "Because I've heard of siblings messing with each other."
"Of course I'm being serious." the Pallet trainer answered. "Bell deserves to know the truth about who she's getting involved with. Just like all of you did." Under his breath he muttered "Which I hoped would make you all look for greener pastures not named 'Ash Ketchum'…"
Kyoji slapped him upside the head. "You're an idiot." he said. "You got a good thing going for you. …And a basket of issues you need to work through with your shrink, which is the only reason I'm putting up with it." That said, Kyoji decided to look for… snacks?
"What are you doing?" Ash asked, somewhat resigned.
"She beat the crap out of me a few years back. Siccing your mother on her is payback for it." Kyoji said before pulling out bags of pre-popped popcorn covered in caramel. "And look here! Popcorn for the show!"
…Well, Ash couldn't complain about the show.
Back at the lab… well, Bell and Asuka were two steps from being nude.
It was at this moment that a random memory popped into the blonde's mind.
'Asuka, no matter what you do, keep these three rules in the foreground at all times. Never reveal who you really are to anyone. Never stand out, though with your figure, that's going to be hard. But most of all, given your mission…DO NOT PISS OFF DELIA KETCHUM!'
After a moment, her adopted mom hugged her and ordered her as a mother to stay safe.
"Hello, miss Asuka." the lovers broke off at the sound of Delia's voice, low and quiet as the grave.
This was not the - to quote her aunt 'MILF as fuck' - woman that ran a small restaurant in a small town while raising her four children after the untimely death of her husband.
This was Delia Ketchum, former Elite Four, a Champion-grade trainer, Pokemon Master and the first human to kill a Legendary Pokemon in thousands of years.
With a FUCKING AXE.
"My son's told me something interesting about you. So…" she started. "Would you care to explain why a Ranseian special forces operative is here, dating my daughter?"
Asuka caught a glimpse outside, finding Ash and… Kyoji Akamura? Watching from a distance.
With POPCORN?!
Outside the town…
"Maybe we should wait…" Fuu said as they felt a feeling of dread pointed at something that wasn't their charge.
"P-probably a good idea…" Umi said, shrinking away in tiny amounts of terror.
Hikaru sighed and just pulled out their camping gear.
Entry 119: Rebuilding the Guard
After over half a century of being defunct, the Rotan Royal Guard had to rebuild from the ground up. Ulysses Taggard, last member of Jamon's Royal Guard, became the new head of Ash Ketchum's.
And he had limited options to rebuild.
It will take years to undo the damage that decades of nonexistence have caused, but recruitment - and turnover rates- has picked up rapidly.
Ron the True Fan: I would not get used to Jorn being here long term. I insisted because he actually was responsible for this new character and I only thought it right he had a hand in the introduction.
Takeshi Yamato: And, of course, I had to do the same with the other new additions.
117Jorn: A cookie goes to whoever can guess what series Asuka and Asagi are from… *evil grin*
Ron the True Fan: Indeed. Now, as per tradition on AO3 and now FFN…the best way to support my work is subscribing to my YouTube channel! channel / UCuvHYiP82hsSrYKFr8esUJQ And just add that to the url minus the spaces and you're golden.
Ja Ne!
