Sabaku no Kitsune: Chapter 20
Kirigakure council chambers: 1 day after Naruto's exam
Mei Terumi and the Kiri council was glaring at Tsunade, Danzo, Homura, Koharu and Shikamaru
"What the fuck was that shit" Mei Terumi shouted "your Konoha teams murdered a Kiri team and attempted to murder a Suna team; what the hell was that" she shouted and Tsunade stood up.
"I had no idea what happened nor did I sanction it" Tsunade said "I have no excuse for their actions" she said and Koharu looked at her.
"Lady Tsunade; are you really going to turn your back on fellow Konoha shinobi" Koharu said "they were simply following the rules of the exam; we cannot- "she began but was stopped. Tsunade slammed her hand on the desk breaking it in half and Mei Terumi unleashed killing intent.
"Deaths are expected in the chunin exams, yes" Tsunade said "but intentional killing is not" she snarled. "If you hit someone with an overpowered jutsu, yes; if you kick someone and break their neck, maybe" Tsunade said "but 2 konoha teams, teaming up and murdering a team in cold blood and attempting to do it again is unacceptable" she said. "And let's not forget those ninjas were under Danzo's command" she said and Danzo seemed unphased.
"They are simply doing what shinobi are trained to do" Danzo said cooly "they are trained to their enemy; it is not my fault or anyone else's fault for their actions" he said and both Mei and Tsunade were now seething with anger. "Furthermore, all I see is Kiri overreacting" Danzo said "let's not forget their barbaric graduation ritual; it was only stopped when Zabuza Momochi killed 100 other children" he said.
"Kiri is trying to change asshole" Mei said her anger barely contained "we are trying to shed the image of 'the village of the bloody mist' and this shit your ninja pulled is making Kiri remember out horrid past" she said as she sat back down. "Which is why as of right now every Konoha team except team Kakashi will be banned from any other exam here in Kiri" Mei said which made Homura and Koharu stand up in outrage.
"You cannot do this" Homura shouted "we are protected by treaties and are allowed to participate" he said and Mei chuckled.
"Oh, dear councilor you do not get to choose that" Mei said sweetly as she pulled out a piece of paper "every other team including team Kakashi voted that we eliminate Konoha from the chunin exams" she said. "And what's more, the water Daimyo was watching the exam and was appalled at the display" Mei said and both councilors were now furious.
"I understand" Tsunade said as she got up "I apologize for how our teams acted and I hope you don't hold it against Konoha" she said.
"I believe you Tsunade" Mei said "but Konoha is on thin ice now" she said as she glared at the other in particular Shikamaru who was as calm as can be. "This is over; leave Kiri immediately" Mei said.
Everyone from Konoha got up and walked out "I'm heading to see the Suna team; they also deserve an apology" she said as she walked off. As she did Danzo looked at Shikamaru and whispered.
"We still have 1 root team participating here" Danzo said "have them hide here and spy on that Suna team; they are not who they seem to be" he said and Shikamaru nodded.
"Yes, my lord" Shikamaru said as he walked off in order to find the final root team.
Kiri hospital, High security ward: With Naruto and Temari
Naruto and Temari were both on a hospital bed making out as they had the room to themselves; Naruto had his arm in a sling but still had another hand which was currently on Temari's butt. Temari was on top and had her hands on Naruto's chest; as they broke apart Temari looked into Naruto's eyes.
"Oh, honey I'm sorry for coming late; they wouldn't let me see you right away" Temari said with a little pain in her voice as she rubbed Naruto's cheek with her thumb "are you ok; do you need anything" she asked and Naruto smiled.
"Just you Temari" Naruto said as Temari smiled "my arm is healing fine; I should be able to use it in a few days thanks to the fox" he said.
"You're welcome" the Kyuubi said in Naruto's mind.
"I was just so worried and so pissed about your exam" Temari said with a frown "that Konoha team went to far; I was half tempted to go in there and kill them myself" she said.
"And I wouldn't blame you" Naruto said "now then where were we" Naruto said and Temari smiled; Temari kissed Naruto and began to explore his mouth with her tongue when the door opened up.
"Brat are you- "Tsunade began until she saw Naruto and Temari looking at her with wide eyes; all 3 stood there for a few seconds until Tsunade spoke again "I want to name your first kid" she said with a smirk.
Temari hopped off of Naruto fixing her cloths and Naruto glared at Tsunade with an angry look "what the hell granny Tsunade" he shouted and Tsunade laughed.
"Sorry brat" Tsunade said and Naruto huffed; however, the next second Tsunade was serious "ok now we need to talk" she said and both Naruto and Temari nodded. Tsunade put up a privacy barrier and began to speak "Naruto; I will like to say I'm sorry, I never intended for anything like this to happen" she said.
"Who were those guys" Naruto asked "they remind me of those root guys I fought all those years ago" he said and Tsunade sat down on the bed.
"That's because they are" Tsunade said making Naruto and Temari go wide eyed "it's a secret but Danzo petitioned the fire Daimyo to allow him to reform root on the books" she said. "He had several students from outside Konoha come in and become his first batch of shinobi" Tsunade said "I could tell right away these kids were not normal but I couldn't prove it" she said. "Ever since they became operational there have been multiple reports of their brutality" Tsunade said "and this just proved it to everyone" she said.
Temari frowned "what can be done" Temari said "they almost killed Naruto, Kurumi and Karin" she said and Tsunade poke.
"Kakashi's team is staying; but the other team is heading back to Konoha" Tsunade said and Temari nodded.
"Good" Temari said.
"Ok then now brat" Tsunade said sitting next to Naruto "it's been a year since I've seen you; lets catch up" she said and Naruto smiled.
Kiri hotel room: With Kurumi and Karin
"Ok so fuck, marry, kill" Karin said "Naruto, Gaara, Kankuro; go" she said to Kurumi who was sitting across from her; Kurumi got a look on concentration on her face and spoke.
"Fuck Naruto, marry Gaara, kill Kankuro" Kurumi said "Naruto is cute but not boyfriend material to me" she said and Karin nodded. "Gaara is like nice even though he's a little awkward" Kurumi said "and Kankuro… I don't know I can see him as either or" she said. "Ok my turn" Kurumi said "fuck, marry, kill; my dad, that Kakashi guy or that Lee boy" she said and Karin went into deep thought.
"Ok… fuck Lee, marry your dad and kill Kakashi" Karin said making Kurumi go wide eyed.
"Really marry my dad" Kurumi asked "explain" she said.
"I see how happy your mom is and I have to say I want that" Karin said and Kurumi nodded "fuck that lee boy because… well… I'm not going to lie, he looks like he has pretty good stamina; also did you not see the bulge in his jumpsuit" she said and Kurumi nodded with a smirk. "And Kakashi; I don't know he seems like a pervert so he has to die" Karin said and both girls began to laugh.
Just then Obito entered the room carrying take out "hey girls; what's funny" he asked and Karin spoke.
"Oh, just playing 'fuck, marry, kill'" Kurumi said "Karin said she'd marry you" she said and Karin slapped her shoulder as Obito took off his mask.
"Aww thanks Karin" Obito said with a goofy smile "But it cannot be; I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world" he said.
Meanwhile in Suna
Sango was sitting on the couch watching tv in her panties and an old tank top while eating pickles and drinking beer; Sango grabbed another pickle out of the jar and dipped it into melted cheese and took a bite. Sango feeling a rumbling in her stomach leaned over to one side and let out a loud fart "woah that was a wet one" Sango joked to herself; Sango then looked back at the tv and then stood up.
"Oh, what the fuck ref; that was a fumble" Sango shouted at the tv "ughh… stupid Shugeki-shas (raiders); my Yasei no uma's (wild horse's or broncos) will get the ball back soon enough" she said as she sat back down and swigged her beer.
Back with Obito, Kurumi and Karin
"I wonder if she's watching football right now" Obito said as he popped open his lunch and began to eat.
"Hey how about you Obito sensei" Karin said "fuck marry kill; Mei Terumi, Lady Tsunade or Naruto's mom Kushina" she said and Obito looked at her.
"Damn you really gave me a head scratcher" Obito said "ummm… Fuck lady Tsunade, marry Kushina and kill Mei" he said and both girls leaned in and looked at him with smirks on their faces.
"Oh really? Naruto's mom; do tell" Kurumi said and Obito blushed.
"Well… I kinda had a crush on her to be honest" Obito said "I think it was her hair; or maybe her big boobs" Obito said whispering the other part as he ate his food.
"Ok enough with that lets take a look at the exams shall we" Karin said as she turned on the tv "hey look it's Kakashi's team" she said and all 3 looked at the tv.
With Sakura, Hinata and Lee
"Chaaaa" Sakura roared as she drove her fist into a Kumo ninja sending him flying into a lake; he then got out of the water and saw Sakura jumping into the air with her fist cocked "no running away from me" Sakura shouted as she drove her fist into the water creating a giant wave sending him to the shore.
The Kumo ninja got up coughing up water as he saw Sakura running towards him; the Kumo ninja got his sword ready and charged it with lightning chakra. Sakura seeing this smirked as she went through hand signs and brought both hands to her sides; chirping began to resonate from her hands as she opened them.
'Raitanken (lightning dagger)' Sakura thought; Sakura tried to learn the Chidori but couldn't use it like Sasuke or Kakashi due to her not having a lightning affinity. However, she was able to modify it and was able to use a weaker version on her hands to help out her taijutsu.
Sakura approached the Kumo ninja and he got his sword ready; he slashed at Sakura who used her lighting covered hand to block the slash. Sakura's hand smashed through his sword as she continued to close the distance; Sakura proceeded to spear hand the boy in the stomach making him cough up blood as he fell to the ground.
"Don't worry I'll heal you when this is over" Sakura said with a smile; Sakura looked over at her 2 teammates.
Hinata was fighting another Kumo ninja in a fast-paced taijutsu battle; Hinata was walking back as the Kumo ninja pressed forward. The Kumo ninja threw a kick at Hinata's head however Hinata blocked it before it could make contact; Hinata then hit a chakra point in his leg making him yelp in pain.
Hinata proceeded to sweep him off his one good leg and attacked him when he hit the ground; Hinata hit him in the gut, the chest and on the forehead with the final strike knocking him out. Hinata got up and bowed "I-I'm sorry if I hurt you; I just can't let my team down" Hinata said nervously; Sakura seeing this chuckled as she rolled her eyed.
'Same old Hinata' Sakura thought 'and how Lee- oh what the hell' Sakura thought in surprise.
"Sakura! Look" Lee said standing to the Kumo shinobi he was fighting and also a Iwa team "I defeated my enemy and also the other team involved; I think this secures our victory" he said as he gave her a thumbs up. Sakura and Hinata both looked at him wide eyed and then giggled.
"Good job Lee" Sakura said "you sure went above and beyond" she said with a smile.
"Good work Lee" Hinata said "you are… very youthful" Hinata said giving him a thumbs up; the next moment Hinata was picked up by Lee in a hug.
"Hinata; you are so youthful to say I'm youthful" Lee said; Hinata began to blush and began to struggle to get out.
"Sakura help" Hinata shouted and Sakura chuckled.
"Ok Lee that's enough 'youth' for the day" Sakura said and Lee let go of Hinata 'I hope you are watching over me and giving me strength Naruto' Sakura thought.
With Naruto, Temari and Tsunade
"Yeah, way to go guys" Naruto cheered from his hospital bed "you see I told you they would pass no sweat; oh man I kinda want to fight Sakura now, or maybe Bushy brows, oh but Hinata looks skilled too" Naruto said in a rapid pace.
Temari and Tsunade were both rolling their eyes at the hyperactive blonde in the bed "chill out Naruto; you'll probably fight one of them later" Tsunade said calming him down 'although I would like to see him fight Sakura; it'll be an interesting match' she thought.
"I'll admit though Sakura seems a lot stronger than the last time" Temari said as she remembered the embarrassingly horrible fight in the last chunin exams.
"That's because she's been working her ass off" Tsunade said "training with me, Kakashi and Kurenai has made her a whole lot stronger; all for her dream" she said looking towards Naruto. "She wants to become hokage and honor you Naruto; and if it was up to me, I'd do it in 5 or 6 years" she said and Naruto got a sad smile.
"Well, that's good to hear" Naruto said sadly "I wish I could tell her how proud I am of her; and that she obtains her dream" he said. 'Kami knows I'll never get it' Naruto thought; Temari then put her hand on his shoulder to comfort him and Tsunade got a sad look on her face.
'Crap I probably shouldn't have mentioned that part' Tsunade thought 'some wounds never heal' she thought. "Sorry Naruto; I didn't mean- "Tsunade began but Naruto stopped her.
"It's fine granny Tsunade" Naruto said "lets just watch the rest of the matches" he said trying to leave it alone.
The next day: Kiri meeting hall
Naruto and his team were standing with the other teams that passed the second exam; so far there was Naruto's team, Sakura's team, 2 Iwa teams, a Kiri team and a Spring country team.
'Woah looks like we got some competition' Naruto thought until he saw Katsu walk up with Mei and Temari.
"Hello everyone I'm Katsuragi from Spring country and I will be your proctor for the third and final phase of the chunin exams" Katsu said with excitement "now then we have 6 teams in total so I decided for another team-based exam" she said. "I decided to switch 1 member from every team with another" Katsu said making all of the examinees look at her in shock "yep one of you will be working with a team that you know nothing about in a team-based battle; and here are the teams" she said holding up a list.
Naruto, Kurumi and Karin looked at the list and their jaws dropped
Suna Team: Karin, Kurumi and Rock Lee
Konoha Team: Sakura Haruno, Hinata Hyuga and Menma
Naruto looked at Temari who winked at him subtly 'no way I get to work with Sakura and Hinata again' Naruto thought with a smile behind his mask as he listened to Katsu continue her speech.
"You will only swap back to your original team if you are facing them at any point in the exam; but other than that, the rules are no killing and no maiming" Katsu said and everyone nodded "ok with nothing else to say you all have 1 month to train; good luck" Katsu said.
Naruto felt a tap on his shoulder and saw both Sakura and Hinata standing there "I can't wait to work with you Menma" Sakura said "lets try and win this thing if we can" she said and Naruto nodded.
"L-Lets do our best" Hinata said poking her fingers together.
"You got it; glad to be along for the ride" Naruto said and both Sakura and Hinata nodded.
Karin and Kurumi were both looking on as Naruto talked to Sakura and Hinata when Lee walked forward "hello ladies, nice to meet you again" Lee said with a bright smile "I promise that I will try my hardest to bring us to victory" he said and both Karin and Kurumi smiled.
"Thanks Lee" Kurumi said shaking his hand.
"Can't wait to work with you Lee" Karin said shaking his hand before seeing Kurumi behind Lee's back; Kurumi used her tongue and hand to make a certain motion and Karin glared at her. Lee turned around and saw Kurumi cleaning her nails with a kunai.
"Umm" Lee said confused "is there a problem" he asked.
"Nope" Karin said trying to hide her anger towards Kurumi.
A little while later: Mizukage tower
Naruto, Kurumi and Karin were all in front of Mei, Temari, Katsu and Obito.
"Ok everyone I got some great news" Obito said "I was planning on staying here to train you all but we got an offer I cannot refuse" he said as he looked over to Katsu.
"Lady Koyuki has offered for you all to come to the Land of Spring to train" Katsu said "room and board is taken care of and you will all be in a nice little house a little bit away from the castle" she said.
"Awesome; I haven't been there in years" Naruto cheered "hey Temari are you coming too" he asked and Temari nodded.
"Well, who else is going to help you with your wind jutsu" Temari said and Naruto got the biggest grin on his face.
"Hell yeah" Naruto cheered "oh man when are we leaving" he asked and Katsu spoke.
"Tomorrow morning; so, go and pack your crap" Katsu said; Naruto immediately left the room and Obito followed.
"I have to go too; gotta get the wife for our little get away" Obito said "she's going to flip out when she hears this" he said as he vanished in a vortex.
"Ok now that the boys are gone, I need all of your help" Temari said making Mei, Katsu, Karin and Kurumi look at her "while yes we are going to be training, there is something else happening during the next month" she said.
"What is it" Mei asked and Kurumi snapped her fingers.
"Naruto's birthday; crap I totally forgot" Kurumi said and Temari pointed at her.
"Bingo and I decided that for his birthday I'm going to give him a present he will cherish forever" Temari said "and I need you ladies to help me make sure it's perfect" she said and Katsu spoke up.
"And what are you planning" Katsu said and Temari smirked as she looked at the 4 women.
"I'm planning on giving myself to Naruto" Temari said and all their eyes widened "that's right ladies; on Naruto's birthday I'm going to take his virginity" she proclaimed proudly.
