After being summoned to the Tsukinos' residence by Detectives Yoshi and Nobuko Shin, the parents of the Shitennou Knights have a thing or two to learn about their sons' past lives and their loves. Can they stand the shock about what they had gone through?
(Sunday Evening)
Reina Sanjouin hung up the phone after speaking with Detective Nobuko Shin. She had hope in her heart and was told the detective's husband had a lead on her son, Neph. The detective couldn't tell her what kind of lead it was or where it led to. She hoped that it was a lead her son had been found. She just didn't know if her son had been found dead or alive; she just hoped whatever it was her heart would be able to handle it.
Reina wasn't expecting the phone call as she had just gotten home from a long shift at the Fruits Parlor Crown where she was baker. She loved the people she worked for, the Furuhatas. Before Neph had disappeared, she had hoped to see a romance blossom between him and Unazuki, a waitress and the Furuhata's daughter. Though her son nor Unazuki had shown nothing but friendship toward each other.
Reina opened up Neph's bedroom door and turned on the light wishing she didn't have to go out again. She still kept the two bedroom apartment. She had let the police investigate his bedroom hoping there was a trace of him somewhere. She knew her son; he didn't run away. After the death of her husband, his father, Neph had provided her with such comfort and love, and she had enjoyed seeing her husband in him. Her husband was a good man, and she knew her husband would be proud of the man she had raised.
Reina remembered the fear and the panic when she realized Neph wasn't home when she had come from work so many months ago. He was always home by the time she had come home from work. Then she heard the answering machine. Neph babysat a seven year old boy on the first floor, and he hadn't shown up for it. Both Reina and the neighbor knew that it wasn't Neph's common behavior to not give anyone a heads up he wouldn't be able to keep the commitment, and that was rare enough as is.
Reina had called her neighbor who Neph babysat for on the first floor and had learned Neph had never showed up. She had asked Reina if everything was alright, and that was when Reina told her Neph wasn't home. The neighbor had told Reina to contact the police. The mother on the first floor was going to wake her husband to watch their son, so she could be there when the police arrived.
Reina, with assistance, had answered all of the police officer's questions. Then she had finally sat down with a detective. She remembered how gentle and caring Detective Yoshi Shin was on the first day. He remembered he had promised he was going to do everything he could.
However, this was the first time a meet has been requested that wasn't at the station or at her home, and Reina didn't know what to make of that. There were tears filling her eyes and falling down her face, and she knew it. It wasn't the first time her tears have been spilled, and she doubted it would be the last of them.
Reina promised Detective Nobuko Shin she would meet her and her husband at the address she had given them to see what lead they had on her son's case, and she just didn't want to go in her work clothes. She wanted a bath and to be in her clothes for this meeting.
Reina sighed as she turned off the light and closed her son's bedroom door. She prayed that whatever news they had for her it was good news because she didn't want to know what would happen if it was bad news. She didn't think her heart would handle it. "Please, Neph," she said to herself. "Please be alive."

Genko Taitou hung up the phone after speaking with Detective Yoshi Shin. She had pressed him for information about what information he had on her son, Jae, but he kept evading and wouldn't say why he needed her and her husband, Jae's father, Keiyuu, at some residence on a Sunday night. Didn't he understand she and her husband had to work the next day?
"Who was that on the phone, honey?" Keiyuu asked, as came out of his office while leaning against the door jamb.
"The detective who has been on Jae's case," Genko told him. "I can't believe after all these months he hasn't found a trace of evidence. We really should see if we can get a different detective on the case."
Keiyuu narrowed his eyes down on her and crossed his arms. "You tried that, Genko. Do you remember what the police force did?" he asked, reminding her what the police force did. "They turned around and gave it to his wife, and from what I gather, they've been working together on this case." The police lieutenant was annoyed by the order who knew it came from high up, but he was shrewd enough to know both Shins would work together and knew there was no such an order for them not to work together.
Genko sighed. "Keiyuu, I just want him back," she confessed. "I want him found alive. I want to tell Jae how sorry I am that I held education over his head before he could pursue his rock music." It was a genre of music she never understood and didn't have the mind to be open about it, but now to just have him, she would listen to whatever band or whatever his band sang.
Keiyuu smirked at her. He was the only one who dared to ever smirk at her, and constantly live to tell the tale. "With or without education, he was going to pursue music anyway," he said. "You and I both know he was studying music." He watched her walk over a wall full of family pictures. "How many instruments can he play?"
"Too many," Genko said, not even trying to remember how many instruments her son could play. "Give him an instrument, and he'll learn how to play it."
"And learn to play quickly," Keiyuu said. "He's gifted."
"Keiyuu, we both know he will always prefer the guitar over any instrument," Genko said. She held back the tears that wanted to come because she needed to tell her husband why the detective called. She kept her back to her husband as she didn't want him to see the tears in her eyes. "Apparently, the detective wants to meet us at someone's residence."
"Really?" Keiyuu asked, surprised. He knew that wasn't normal procedure. "That's not normal."
"Maybe there is a reason for it," Genko said.
"Do you want to meet him?" Keiyuu asked. He watched his wife carefully, knowing she was on the verge of tears. He knew and understood her well, and he would know if he had a chance of talking her into something or not.
"I don't know," she told him. "Detective Shin wouldn't tell me what it was over the phone."
Keiyuu had his answer. "If you want to go, I will go with you," he promised her.
"I would like that," Genko told him.
Keiyuu picked up the car keys out of the bowl next to the phone. "Then let's go," he said. "I'll drive."

Kenta Saitou hung up the phone after hearing from Detective Yoshi Shin. He had heard what he said, and his heart still hurt after months of no news about his son, Zoi.
Kenta only had to raise his head to stare at the professional photograph of his family. It was taken before his wife, Kiyoko, had found out she was sick. She fought like a bear to beat the cancer, but it was too late. When they knew she would get well, and knew she was dying, she wanted to come home. Between Kenta, Zoi, and the home nurse, they made her comfortable. They had her for six months after she came home from the hospital.
Six months after the death of his wife, Zoi had disappeared. It was right around when Kenta and Zoi were finally coming to terms with Kiyoko's death. The two most important people in Kenta's life were just gone, and he didn't know what he did to deserve them to be gone.
He was a void, and all he did was go to work and come home, repeatedly. It was the only two things he knew he could do without falling apart. He held onto Detective Yoshi Shin. He hoped for news about Zoi. Anything. He would rather know than not know. He was afraid to hope.
"I can't do it, Kiyoko," Kenta said. "I can't hope they will find him alive. Did I love you too much and him not enough?" He knew she wouldn't answer his question, but he wondered if that was the answer.
If that was the answer, Kenta wouldn't be able to bear it. He sighed then. "I can't hope, but I will do what I can." He picked up his keys and walked out the house to the address Detective Shin gave him.

Ami just needed a moment alone from everything, from everyone. She could feel the pressure that was piling on top of her. She was the only one who hadn't completed her task as of yet, and she couldn't quite deal with it. She walked toward the backdoor making herself invisible to anyone who would watch her. She just needed fresh air.
When she made it there and was outside, Ami gazed up at the night sky. The stars were out and the waxing moon shone bright. It always calmed, even at a young age. It makes sense now because she knows who she needs to protect.
"Are you okay?" Ami heard Usagi ask from behind her.
She wasn't surprised to hear Usagi's voice. Her friend, her best friend, if her heart had anything to say about it, knew her loved ones well. "Sometimes you see too much," Ami told her, but before Usagi could respond, she looked over at her. "I don't know."
"I have faith you know what to do when the time comes," Usagi said.
"Usagi, Kun's father invited the rest of the Shitennou Knights' parents," Ami reminded her. "Neph and Jae's parents are going to have that reunion, but not Zoisite."
Usagi walked over to Ami and wrapped her arm around her friend's waist. "His name is Zoi Saitou," she informed her. "He's the youngest Shitennou Knight at sixteen, and he went to Moto-Azabu Private High School which was the same high school Mamo went to."
Ami looked over at her. "Why are you telling me this?" she asked her.
"Because I think you wouldn't save someone you don't know," Usagi said. "Like you, he's first in his class, and he is really good with computers."
Ami realized Usagi was holding a folder. "Is that…?"
"This is the information my father found about Zoi," Usagi said. "My father is willing to give you this information."
"Is there anything he wants me to do for it?" Ami had to ask.
"The only thing he wants," Usagi said, holding the folder out to her, "is to make sure that you come to terms with what is in your heart, so we can save him."
Ami took the folder and hugged it to her. "How can I just throw Ryo aside?" she asked Usagi. "Can I do that?"
"I don't know," Usagi said. "You have an impossible decision, Ami, and don't think I don't know that." She laid her hand on the folder. "I know you need to know about Zoi, and perhaps it will help."
Ami looked back up at the sky. "Thank you, Usagi," she said. "I need another moment before I come back in."
"Okay," Usagi said, understanding. She squeezed her friend's side in support before letting go and walking away. She walked away from the first Sailor Guardian she had found.
Usagi couldn't help but worry. She knew Ami wouldn't voice it, but she felt things differently and would always need to take a moment to understand her feelings.
Usagi closed the backdoor before walking back to find Mamoru. When she found him, Mamoru was talking to Kun and Nobuko, and she wrapped her arms around his middle.
Mamoru could sense her mood and wrapped his arms around her. He shared a look with Kun who nodded.
"Come on, Mom," Kun said. "I want to introduce you to more people."
"I saw that look, and how do you know what that look means?" Nobuko asked.
"That's part of the thing the rest of the parents will need to know," Kun answered as they walked away from Mamoru and Usagi.
"Is Ami okay?" Mamoru asked, guessing what Usagi was worried about.
Usagi shook her head, unable to speak.
Mamoru recognized the look from his previous life and pulled her into the kitchen where Ikuko was. "Mrs. Tsukino?"
One look at Usagi told Ikuko everything she needed to know. "Ami?" Ikuko guessed when she looked back at Mamoru.
Mamoru nodded.
Ikuko came around Usagi's other side and took her daughter's hand. "I'm just going to say this," she told them. "Ami was the first Sailor Guardian you found. I've watched her come out of her shell, and so has her mother since you girls became friends, and when Rei, Mako, and Minako came along, all of you just accepted each other."
When Usagi was about to speak, to open her mouth, Ikuko shook her head letting her know she wasn't done.
"You have a fine group of friends, Usagi, and a man who I judge would do anything to make sure nothing will ever happen to you again. You all have a good head on your shoulders." Ikuko looked over where Nobuko finally cornered Minako, filing that for later because of what she knew about Minako and Kun. "I have never seen a group of friends who are more open and honest with each other than this one, and it all started with you, Usagi."
"Well…"
Ikuko rolled her eyes. "Luna may have found you, honey, but you found the rest," she said. "And if you hadn't healed Mamoru, then you wouldn't have known about the Shitennou Knights. Give Ami time, she will know what is in her heart sooner or later."
"I hope it's sooner rather than later," Usagi said.
"That's what everyone will hope for," Mamoru said.
They heard a knock on the door. "I guess that's the next parent," Ikuko said. "Shingo told you we told him?"
"Yes, that's fine, Mom," Usagi said. "He told us why, but we'll worry about that later."
They both heard the door open and heard a female's voice shout: "Neph!" Then they heard a thud.
"Oh, my God, Mom!" they heard Neph say. Moments later, Kenji was followed by Neph who was carrying a woman they hadn't met yet.
"You can lay her down here on the couch," Kenji told Neph. He laid his hands on the couch to indicate which couch.
"Thank you, Mr. Tsukino," Neph said. He laid her down gently on the couch. "I didn't think my mom would faint at the sight of me."
"She hasn't seen you in several months, Neph," Ikuko said. "Since Usagi and Mamoru told me and Kenji this afternoon, my thoughts had dwelled on what would have happened if Usagi had disappeared." Ikuko sighed, hurting for his mother, for both Yoshi and Nobuko, and for the other parents she has yet to meet. "I don't think I would have survived; endure what they have endured." She turned to Usagi. "Do you mind getting a wet washcloth, Usagi?"
Usagi turned and walked into the kitchen, having an idea of what it was going to be used for.
Ikuko then turned to look at Mamoru. "Could you get Jae to sit at the dining room table?" she asked. "We don't want another repeat of what happened to Neph's mother with Jae's mother." She knew the dining room table wasn't anywhere in sight of the front door.
"Yes, ma'am," Mamoru said and went to go find his Shitennou Knight of Patience and Harmony.
Usagi came back with a wet washcloth and passed it over to Ikuko. "Here you go."
"Thank you, Usagi," Ikuko said and took it. She walked over to Reina. She kneeled and laid the cloth on her forehead. She started to gently rub over her forehead.
Reina moaned.
"There we go," Ikuko said. "Come on, Ms. Sanjouin. All the way."
"I have been dreaming," Reina murmured. "I dreamed that I opened up a door to a house I have never been to and saw my son."
Ikuko chuckled. "It's not a dream," she said. "It's real." She looked over at Neph and nodded.
Neph came around. "Hi, Mom," he said.
Reina's eyes went wide as she sat up slowly. "Neph?" she said.
Neph kneeled and hugged her as Reina wrapped her arms around her son as tears fell from her eyes.
"Oh, my sweet boy," Reina said. "I can't believe this." She saw both Yoshi and Nobuko in the crowd and knew they had a part in this.
"Just because Neph's mom had fainted at the sight of him," Jae said as Mamoru pushed him into the dining room area, "doesn't mean my mom will." Though, he was frightened that very may be the case.
"Well, Mrs. Tsukino doesn't want to take that chance," Mamoru told him. "And to be honest neither do I." He gave his Shitennou Knight a look. "Do you want to take that chance?"
Jae sighed. "And my money is on my mom falling between Kun's mom and Neph's mom," he said. Then looked over at Mamoru, knowing exactly what his point was. "Do you know how much I hate you?"
Mamoru smirked, not surprised by either response. "Is it as much when me and the other Shitennou Knights figured out Mars felt passion and not anger?" he asked nonchalantly.
Jae glared at him and then thought about it for a moment. "That was the memory you used for the ritual," he said. "Why that one?"
Mamoru thought for a moment. He didn't use it as much as it was a memory he instinctively used. "I guess it was the one that came to me," he told him. "I didn't choose it; it chose me."
Jae just gave him a look and then sighed, remembering the group of people he now considered his friends. "I suppose that sounds right for us," he said. "So the answer is love and connections?"
"It is," Mamoru said. He looked over at Minako who was cornered by Nobuko; he supposed it wouldn't hurt for the other detective to know. He knew Minako could handle herself.

There was a knock on the door, and Usagi answered it to a couple. "Hello, can I help you?" she asked.
"We were told to meet Detectives Nobuko and Yoshi Shin here," the male said. "We're the Taitous, Jae Taitou's parents."
"Of course," Usagi said, recognizing Jae's last name. "Wait just here for one moment please." She had noticed earlier Mamoru had ushered Jae into the other room. She figured it was her mom's idea, probably to avoid the same fate as Neph's mother. She closed the door and went to go find Yoshi.
When Yoshi had been informed, Usagi followed him to the door, mostly out of curiosity, but it was her home and felt like she needed to play hostess.
Yoshi opened up the door to see Keiyuu and Genko Taitou. "Mr. and Mrs. Taitou," he said. "Thank you for coming."
"This better be good, Detective Shin," Genko said. "I don't understand why you dragged us to this house when tomorrow is work day."
"Please, Mrs. Taitou," Usagi said, saving Yoshi from further comment, "come in. There's someone who has been wanting to see you." She wrapped her around her and looked for Rei in the crowd, finding her, she nodded.
Rei nodded back and used the door to the dining room to let Mamoru and Jae know.
"And who are you?" Genko asked.
"My name is Usagi Tsukino, and I live here," she said. "You could say I'm a friend of your son." Though Usagi knew the reason she had wrapped her hand around her was so she could catch her when she fainted.
Genko narrowed her eyes at Usagi. "Friend?" she asked. "Or groupie."
"That's a fair question as I had just learned today he was part of a band called Desolation," Usagi said. "I like their music just fine, but I could hardly be considered a groupie." She walked into the living room that was opened up to the living room.
"I would consider her a friend, Mom," Jae said.
Genko looked over at the sound of that voice. It had been so long since she heard that voice. Her eyes went wide. "Jae?"
"Are you okay to walk, Mrs. Taitou?" Usagi asked. "We've already had one mother faint on us."
"My wife won't faint," Keiyuu said from behind her. "I thank you for your consideration."
"I'll be fine," Genko said.
Usagi let her go and watched as she ran to her son with her husband right behind her, watching them do a group hug. "I hope this will make all the earfuls I got from her and my boss worth it," Yoshi said from behind her.
"It's hardly your fault," Usagi said. "You didn't know that their past lives were going to tie them up the way it did, Detective Shin."
"You and your friends as well," Yoshi reminded her. "I've seen the way you look at Mamoru."
Usagi smiled at just her true love's name and her eyes had connected with Mamoru's, and the sense of calm enveloped within her. "It's interesting all the connections that have woven in this life," she told him. "Mamoru goes to K.O. University studying medicine."
"I also heard that Sanjouin goes to the school that you girls were looking at attending," Yoshi said.
The thought of school made her feel sick. "It's Sunday night, and I have school tomorrow," Usagi said.
Yoshi laughed at Usagi's realization. "The more things change, the more they stay the same," he told her.
"I have homework due tomorrow," she said. "I haven't done any of it."
"Well, you saved four boys this weekend," Yoshi said.
"Detective Shin, I can't use that excuse tomorrow," Usagi said. "Ms. Haruna would shoot it down in an instant."
At that instant, there was a knock on the door, and they both turned toward it. "Zoi Saitou's father," Yoshi said.
"This is going to be the hardest one," Usagi said. She felt Mamoru behind her.
"Do you want me to get Ami?" Mamoru asked her.
Usagi sighed. "Save Minako from Kun's mom and get her to do it," she told him. She turned to look at him. "She'll need another pep talk."
"Right, connections," Mamoru said. "I got this." He turned to go find Minako.
Usagi walked over to the door and opened it. "You must be Mr. Saitou, correct?" she asked. She could see the resemblance between the picture of Zoi she saw and of this man before her.
"That's correct, " he said. "Do you know my son?"
"You could say that," Usagi said.
Kenta saw Yoshi over Usagi's shoulder. "Detective Kun, why did you want to meet here?" he asked.
"Now that all the parents are here, now I can explain," Yoshi said. "Come in." He then turned and saw that his son's love, Minako, had escaped his wife long enough to bring Ami inside. He wondered if Kenta could bring Ami solace and vice versa. He wondered if they could help each other, but only time will tell. He addressed everyone: "If I could have everyone pile into the living room and dining room, I will explain why I have called all of you here and why it had to be here."
Usagi hung back while everyone went into the living room and dining room to wait for Ami and Minako. She looked over at Ami. "Are you ready for this?" Usagi asked Ami.
Ami watched as everyone piled into those two rooms. "I don't have a choice, do I?" she asked.
"Ami…"
"I'm sorry, Usagi," Ami said with a sigh, knowing Usagi wouldn't think anything of it.
"Feeling the pressure?" Minako asked.
"Maybe a little," Ami said. She held the folder Kenji had compiled on Zoi Saitou close to her chest. "This gives me a clear picture, Usagi, but I want to meet his father."
"The last parent that just arrived was Zoi's father, Kenta Saitou," Usagi informed them.
"Usagi?" Mamoru said.
"Minako?" Kun said.
The girls looked over to turn and look at the men at the dining room entrance to see Mamoru and Kun waiting for them which made both Usagi and Minako smile.
"We have a spot for you too, Ami," Mamoru said.
Ami laid her hand on her heart, realizing despite everything her friends, all of her friends have her and will support her. "Thank you, Mamoru," she said. She walked past them into the dining room followed by Usagi and Minako.
Usagi walked over to Mamoru. "Thank you," she told him. "That was exactly what she needed." She leaned up and kissed his cheek.
"Needed what?" Mamoru asked, confused. "Did I help Ami somehow?"
Usagi chuckled. "I love you," she said. She was even more thrilled he didn't realize what he had done.
Kun waited to chuckle after Mamoru and Usagi walked past them, knowing exactly what Mamoru did and walked away holding hands with Minako. "He's so different in this life," he told Minako. "It's endearing."
Minako followed her friend and her true love, knowing her own true love would follow her. "Is that a good thing or bad thing?" she asked him.
"Just an observation," Kun replied, following his true love. He wondered how his father would explain this.
xXx
It took over an hour for Kenji and Yoshi to explain everything, and when the food arrived, the explanation didn't stop. The two men had Usagi transform into Sailor Moon and then into Princess Serenity and Mamoru transform into Tuxedo Mask and then into Prince Endymion. As usual, when they were in those forms, they were more drawn together. After the demonstration, they were able to de-transform.
After the hour was over and the explanations, Genko had the first question. "How do we know any of this is real?" she asked. She was still skeptical of the whole thing.
"Mom…" Jae turned and gave an apologetic look to Yoshi, Usagi, and Mamoru. "Do you really think I or the other Shitennou Knights or Mamoru would create this whole elaborate story?"
"I understand the hesitation," Usagi said. "This is magic and monsters. It sounds pretty far-fetched. You have seen me and Mamoru transform." She made herself say his full name so as to not confuse anyone with nicknames.
"And what about my son?" Kenta asked. "What about Zoi?"
"That's my responsibility, Mr. Saitou," Ami told him.
"Saitou?" Keiyuu said.
"Pretty similar to your last name, huh?" Rei asked. "Perhaps, it's not just a coincidence."
"Rei," Jae said. He shook his head.
"Jae, it's not just a coincidence," Rei told him. "We all have connections to each other, and you to Mamoru."
"Before Usagi threw the test over her shoulder, I have Desolation's album on my shelf in my apartment," Mamoru said. "Kun and I are going to K.O. University, and I know Neph is planning on going there."
"This time we have found that love and connections are the answer," Usagi said.
"How does that help me with getting my son back?" Kenta asked.
"You have to be patient," Ami said. "And I hate saying that, but like my fellow Guardians did, like my princess did, I have to find the courage in my heart."
"And you're lacking what?" Kenta asked, lashing out.
"Mr. Saitou," Nobuko said. "Emotions are running high, and these teens here have done a lot this weekend. I do see here that there is love and loyalty here amongst our children. We just have to trust them." She looked over at them. "After this is over, you will all welcome guests into my home. Especially you, Minako."
Minako blushed. "Oh, well," she said.
Nobuko laughed at her reaction. "Sorry, couldn't resist," she said.
All Kun could do was roll his eyes. He knew he could run interference if Minako needed it, but he believed the two women in his life would get along.
"I also understand if Beryl knows your identity, Kun, then you, Neph, and Jae can't come home," Nobuko said.
"At least not yet," Kun agreed.
"And believe me, Mom, I want to," Neph told Reina before she could protest.
"We all want to," Jae corrected.
"There are extra rooms at Hikawa Shrine," Saburo said, speaking up. He quite liked having the three rescued Shitennou Knights protecting his granddaughter, even if one of those men was his granddaughter's true love.
"Grandpa," Rei said.
"Rei, from what I'm getting, these two boys slept on Mamoru's couches," Saburo said. "You can't tell me differently. There's at least two extra rooms that have two beds each. That can be for Saitou's son when Ami figures out what she needs out of this." He looked over at Yoshi. "That covers at least one problem, doesn't it?"
"I suppose it does," Yoshi said, musing. Though he knew how his son worked, he would have strong feelings.
Saburo looked over at Jae. "And don't think you're going to be sneaking into Rei's bedroom," he told the young man.
"Grandpa…"
Jae lifted his hands in defense. "I wasn't…"
Saburo gave him a look stating he knew better. He used to be a teenager once, and he knew what teenagers can do.
Jae sighed. "I promise not to sneak into Rei's bedroom," he promised. Though he did wonder if he could talk Rei into sneaking into his bedroom and if he could manipulate Neph and Kun into sharing a room. As much as he loved his fellow Shitennou Knight, he's liable to start a fight with Kun.
"I suppose that could be adequate conditions," Genko said. She watched her son and saw the way he looked at Rei. She saw a change in him and watched the way he had interacted with the other boys. She liked this and liked seeing this calm in him. He was always so cold, but this calm was different and knew it was because of Rei. She realized then her son had given his heart to her which made her heart ache. It made her want to get to know the girl.
"Hikawa Shrine?" Reina said. "I've been there."
Rei's eyes widened. "I thought I recognized you," she said. "You've bought some of our merchandise."
"It's not you I remember," Reina said. She pointed at Makoto. "It's her. You were so kind and gentle."
Makoto's eyes widened at the realization. It was one of the few times Rei had dragged them into helping her. "You told me that your son had disappeared without a trace of evidence," she said. "You wanted something to help you sleep at night as your sleep pills weren't enough."
Reina smiled. "You do remember me," she said. "I wondered." She turned to Saburo. "The charm has done its job."
"Oh, Mom," Neph said.
Reina turned and smiled at Neph. "I like your girl," she said and kept smiling as Neph gave her a shocked expression. "Oh, sweetie, even though I haven't seen you in months, I still know you."
Genko looked over at Jae who stood several feet from Rei. She knew he was trying not to show her that she was interested in the brunette, but it wasn't working. "Same thing with you, Jae," Genko told him. She turned to look at Rei. "Though I don't know you, I want to."
"Are you sure?" Jae asked. "You've disapproved of my other girls before."
"Others?" Rei asked, muttering.
"Rei, I had a life before you," Jae told her. He gave her a look.
"Alright," Rei said, holding her hands up in defense. "I can understand that."
Jae walked over to her, took her hands, and kissed them before taking her into his arms. "You're the only one I want," he told her. He had sensed her mood and knew the minute it came out of his mouth it was the truth.
Ami watched her friends with their true loves and their true loves' families. She hoped with all of her heart that she would be strong enough to save Zoisite.
Kenta watched her. He wondered what drew his son's past life had seen in her, but he could tell she was loved by her friends and loved her friends. If she was the key to get Zoi back, then he would help her in whatever she needed. If he was any judge, Zoi would like her and so would Kiyoko.
