SebLux: Stress Eating

"Come on, Pelutze," Henri coaxed. "Please, eat your food."

Unfortunately, the dog wanted nothing to do with his food. Pelutze just sat there, staring at Henri, and no matter how much he tried to urge the dog, he refused to move. He did this sometimes, and there was always nothing wrong with him. And Henri then ended up throwing away the dog food because Pelutze had even less interest in eating it after a certain amount of time.

"What's going on?" Marcello asked as he entered the kitchen.

"Pelutze doesn't want to eat again," Henri said. "He's not sick. He's just being stubborn."

"Oh, I know what can get him to eat!"

Henri turned to the Italian, who smiled as he placed his hand on the counter. And then he started to drum his fingers. Pelutze whined, and Henri watched as the dog stood up, moving around them for a moment, before he went to eat the food.

"W-what?" Henri gasped. "H-how…?"

"I realised he's a stress eater," Marcello explained. "And I found out he doesn't like it if I do this. If he doesn't want to eat when you're not here, then I usually just annoy him until he starts eating."

"…You've been annoying my dog?"

"It's not hard to do."

Henri sighed. Well, at least Pelutze was eating.

Our dog is easy to annoy, and if there is food in his bowl when he's annoyed, he makes a beeline for the food. My mom actually called me a few times so that I can annoy the dog so that he can eat when it's his mealtime. And he really doesn't like it if I drum my fingers. One of the many things I do that annoy him.
