While it looked like it was a bad thing Patty couldn't be persuaded, Lori decided to just move on with her life and continue being the newest superhero in Royal Woods. Another day had passed and Lori was looking for some more crime to be stopped. So far, there wasn't any crime to be stopped, but then a little boy ran up to Lori, looking rather frantic
"Volcano girl!" Said the little boy. "Help! You got to help me!"
"Hey hey, easy there, sweetie. What's wrong?"
"bullies... after me." The boy panted. "They want... to... beat me up. You have to save me from them."
"Bullies," said Lori in surprise. Then four scary-looking boys were running up to the two. "That's them!" He pointed with his left finger.
"you come back here, twerp!" Said the leader, who was overweight and his face looking a little like a flabby, over-boiled cabbage. His second friend was as thin as a bone and had a pale face with a blonde buzz cut piece of hair on his head. The third looked average, slightly muscular with hair as black as soot and wearing a basketball jersey. The fourth looked almost as fat as the leader of this nasty gang. "We have unfinished business between us!"
"Be a man and not a baby!" The second one said.
"but you'll cry to your mama." The third one added. "That's what all stupid twerps like you do anyway."
"I call dibs on his lunch money!" The fourth one said excitedly.
Angry at what these mean kids were doing, Lori said: "hey! What do you think you're doing?"
"What does it look like, toots?" Said the leader. "Gonna teach this kid a lesson about staying out of our neighborhood."
"You should no better than to pick a little kid like this?"
"Why not?" Said the third bully. "That's how we like meat. Fresh and weak."
"Now move it before we beat you up." said the second bully.
"Unless you wanna join Sheen here." The first one added. "More pain for someone means more fun for us."
Looking even more angry and disgusted, Lori said: "You leave him alone! Or I will have to teach you all a lesson."
"Ooh, I'm so scared." Said the bully leader in a sarcastic voice. "What can a stupid girl like you do?"
"Stupid?" Now Lori was sounding offended by that rude remark. "I'll show you stupid. Do you even know who I am?"
"Wait, you're the new superhero we heard about." Said the fourth bully. "Volcano Girl, right?"
Lori nodded her head to the four mean boys. "That's right. And you should no better not to pick on someone smaller than you." she crossed her arms at them like a stern, angry mother about to punish or discipline her naughty children. "So leave him alone or else."
The four boys broke down, guffawing, making Lori angrier than before. "Listen, Volcano lady." said the lead bully, "we can beat up whoever we want to beat up. So stand aside, and let us beat up Sheldon in peace, unless you want me to beat you up, too." he cracked his knuckles and his friends followed suit.
It turns out, Lori could not talk these boys out of this kind of vile action and she said: "Then i guess i have no choice. I am going to teach you boys a lesson." Despite what she said, Lori knows she can't just brutally hurt these kids, and didn't want to burn them since they are still kids. "I'll give you one last chance. Are we literally going to do this the easy way, or the hard way?"
"We prefer to do things the hard way." the leader replied as he charged at her, trying to punch her. Luckily, he missed as Lori dodged to the side. "Now hold still so i can punch both of you."
"Volcano Girl look out!" Sheldon pointed.
The second boy tried landing a punch on Lori, but the teenage girl blocked the punch with her own hand and threw him aside, making him roll on the pavement.
"That's it!" said the third boy, becoming angry at how Lori was winning this. "You're going down, stupid girl!"
"Stupid?" said Lori in an offended voice, then she conjured a fireball from her hand and shot it at the boy's right show, lighting it on fire.
"Ah! My foot! My foot!" the boy shrieked as he hurriedly took off his charred shoe.
the leader got mad and tried landing a punch on Lori himself, only for Lori to block it with her right hand, then, she did what the kids, including the bullied on, had not expected to see. The new hero slapped the leader across the face that it knocked him to the ground, and lost a tooth from the impact, and it was like time had stood still.
The bully leader got back up slowly with a shocked look on his face, and Lori still looked stern at him. "Now, leave Sheldon alone and I will be sure to tell all your parents about what you have done. Do you all understand me?!"
The four bullies didn't say a word in reply but they all nodded their heads, and ran away in terror. Removing her angry face, Lori bent down to Sheldon's level and asked with a sad smile in her face; "are you ok, Sheldon?"
"uh-huh. Thank you." Said the boy. "Thanks Volcano Girl. You're my hero." Then he hugged the teenage girl.
Looking very tocuhed, and glad Sheldon was ok, she hugged him back. You're welcome."
Feeling quite accomplished and happy that she saved a poor boy from being relentlessly bullied, Lori was sitting on the front porch, looking at the sky as she was smiling. Suddenly, a black car appeared in the frown of the yard and revealed two agent-like men that looked similar to the FBI or CIA. "Pardon me, Miss. are you Volcano Girl?"
"Yes. Why, am I literally in trouble?"
"No, of course not." Said the second guard. "Mayor Davis herself says she would like to have a special word with you, Miss. please step inside the vehicle."
"The mayor wants to talk to me?" Lori's eyes widened.
