Lori really should have seen that coming. This so-called "gentleman" offering Lori an ice cream was actually an ice-themed supervillain with a charming personality. After all, it was always the nice one that can be the most dangerous.

"Come on, Volcano Girl. Just hold still and be an essential part for my... collection." Said Snow Flaker.

"Collection?" Said Lori. "What are you literally talking about?" She crossed her arms. Snow Flaker had a smug look on his face and casually walked to some kind of lever near the ice cream machine, and the curtains (there was a large set of theater-like curtains colored teal) behind the ice cream maker, and revealed to be a line of fifteen frozen people, five people in the front, five people in the center, and five in the third row.

"This collection, my dear." said Snow Flaker with pride in himself. "And, i think you will be the prized possession of it as soon as you hold still."

Lori was absolutely horrified to behold at what she was seeing. Seven adults and eight children were all frozen solid into ice sculptures. All of them had terrified or surprised looks on their faces, possibly their reactions before they were turned into... this.

it was a pure, despicable act for this person to do. Not only was this villain icy, but he was also icy-hearted as well. Was this man crazy? Was he really evil? Or was there some kind of tragic backstory to this weirdo?

"Are these real people?" Said Lori in horror. "You literally killed all of these innocent people!"

"Heavens! No. Of course not." said the icy villain. "I am not a monster. Volcano Girl? I can assure you that these lovely customers are quite alive. Just frozen."

On one hand, Lori was relieved to hear that none of these innocent people were dead, but on the other hand; this man was completely crazy! "Why are you even doing this?" said the fire hero "what have these people ever done to you?!"

"Oh they didn't do anything, my soft-served flame." He began walking around her in a slow yet graceful manner as he talked. "When it comes to helping people, you can hardly ever gain any respect or appreciation from the population. Just look around you outside. Life can be a pretty boring kind of existence. There is nothing wrong with a little bit of excitement in life."

then she wrapped his left arm around Lori's shoulders, much to the uneasy feeling in her.

Looking irritated thereafter, Lori tried to punch him I. The stomach with her right elbow, only for the Ice villain to dodge and stand in front of her, as if he knew that she was going to punch or hurt him like that. "I have made an intriguing discovery. My friend; Dr Lazarus, has created a special kind of liquid nitrogen that would make cold and frozen foods stronger than ever, and would never melt in heat." He walked up to the Lori and placed his right hand under Lori's chin. As expected, his hand felt cold due to the ice powers he has. "So I decided to take a patch of that formula, turned it into liquid, and injected myself with it, and thus; Snow Flaker was born!"

"So, you literally decided to become an ice-themed supervillain just because you find it 'fun'?"

"Yes! And to bring excitement in life, and make life far less boring than it should be. All in all, I was just in it for the fun, and joy that it brings me."

"But these are innocent people!" Lori said. "You can't just freeze people and make them into frozen statues!"

"Sure I can. It's really easy." Flaker smiled again. "And you will be the main attraction, as I have mentioned before. Now, just hold still so I won't have to make a big mess." He raised his left hand again, and trying freezing Lori a second time, only for Lori to create wave of fire around herself so the ice beams would melt around her.

This was going to be a real challenge for her, there was no doubt about that. The teen girl did a side jump and try firing a blast a fire at Snow Flaker, only for her to miss him and charge at him in full zeal, landing a hard punch to the face, knocking him to a table, and breaking a picture near it. "Your freezing days are over, Snow Flaker!" Lori pointed her right finger. Then she readied some fireballs from her hands. "This is where things get literal."

Dizzy, Flaker got back up, struggling to keep his balance, and he said: "Yes. that's it. That's the kind of excitement i need." he readied his ice powers, and had an evil look on his narrow face. He and Lori charged at one another and began shooting waves of their powers at one another. It was almost like their powers were equally matched

Landing punches and kicks at one another, Lori dodged another ice blast from Flaker, who aimed an ice beam at her head. He felt Lori then fire a wave of fire with her own two hands. Unfortunately, he had quick-thinking in his demented brain, and conjured a shield of ice with his two hands so he wouldn't be burnt.

Lori thought that the ice would be melting right now from the heat of her fire, but she remembered Flaker saying that the kind of liquid nitrogen he inserted in himself was supposed to be colder than regular ice. So doing this would be fruitless for her. Before she knew it, she saw a block of ice hit her in the face, knocking her to the ground, and her nose bleed from the impact.

"What a shame." said Flaker. "I was expecting more of a fight from you, Volcano Girl."

Lori struggled and tried getting up, but felt her chest stomped on by Flaker's booted foot. "Now to make sure that there are no more difficulties." He raised his left arm, aiming to freeze Lori again but she managed to fire a small wave of flames at his boot to get him off of her.
