He covered his mouth with his hand. His face was red like a tomato. Tina is so direct. He didn't know what to say. He didn't want her to think he's the type of guy who would jump to sex. He has to choose his next words carefully.

His heart was racing like crazy. Is she interested? It sounds like she's interested! No, he could be reading into it. She was probably testing him. She's not interested now, but maybe later?

Lucky woke up and went over to Ness. He bent down and started petting him.

He had a bright smile on his face and kept thinking about his conversation with Tina. He has hope that maybe one day she'll be his girlfriend.

Leaf looked at the window and saw Ness smiling and petting his Espeon. At least he's not looking at girls anymore. That fucking perv.

Fate: "Umbri!"

She turned her attention back to Fate. The Umbreon was curious as to why Leaf was staring at the building. Fate walked over to the door and saw that there was a dog door. She happily went inside the room. Leaf ran after her and opened the door.

Ness: "Oh, hey, Leaf. I uh…"

Ness got up and grabbed a broom.

Ness: "Was about to sweep."

Fate went over to Ness and sniffed his leg.

Ness: "Oh! Hello, you."

He bent down and started petting the Umbreon. Lucky got jealous and walked in front interrupting the two.

Leaf: "C'mon, Fate. Let's not bother them. Let's go back outside."

Fate smiled at Lucky and licked his cheek. She then winked and followed Leaf back outside.

Ness: "I didn't know Leaf had an Umbreon."

Lucky continued to stare at the door. Ness tapped his back, but the Espeon ignored his trainer.

Ness: "Uh, Lucky, are you ok?"

Lucky: "Espii…" (So pretty…)

Ness: "Lucky?"

The Clone

After a long day of work, Nate went back home. He saw Rachel and Tracy arguing in the kitchen.

Tracy: "It's not fair, mom!"

Rachel: "I don't like that you're doing this for a boy."

Tracy: "It's my life!"

Rachel: "The boys in school will take advantage of you."

Tracy: "They're not going to! Why can the other girls do it, but I can't?"

Rachel: "Because their moms don't care about their daughters."

Tracy: "You're being ridiculous!"

Rachel: "Stop raising your voice at me!"

Nate stepped into the kitchen and the women went quiet.

Nate: "Uh, is everything ok?"

Rachel: "Yes, we're just having a minor disagreement."

Tracy: "Minor? She's controlling my life!"

Nate: "Wha?"

Tracy: "I can't stand being here."

Tracy stomped her way upstairs. She went over to her room and slammed her door shut.

Rachel: *Sighs* "What am I going to do with her?"

Nate: "What happened?"

Rachel: "I'm not paying for her cheerleader admission fee."

Nate: "What? Why not?"

Rachel: "I know why she's doing it. It's to impress a boy in school. I don't think she actually wants to do it. And I don't want any guy taking advantage of my sweetheart."

Nate: "Taking advantage?"

Rachel: "I used to be a cheerleader when I was in high school. I got a lot of attention from guys. I thought it was a good thing, but…"

Nate: "But?"

Rachel walked over to the dinner table. She sat and hung her head down. He followed her and sat across.

Rachel: "I was sexually assaulted by the jocks in school."

Nate: "I-I'm so sorry…"

Rachel: "I don't want my baby to go through the same trauma I did."

Nate: "Does this happen to every cheerleader?"

Rachel: "No, but the fact is, there's always a chance. It's dangerous being a cheerleader."

Nate: "Hmm, well I think it's good that you're looking out for her."

Rachel: "Of course. She's my daughter."

Nate: "But I also think controlling her choices isn't the best."

Nate: "I think you should talk to her coach. Learn the culture first before thinking of the worst case scenario."

Rachel: "I already know the culture."

Nate: "You knew it back then. Things change."

Rachel: "I doubt it."

Nate: "I think you, the coach, and Tracy should talk about it. Explain to the coach about your concerns and then come up with a plan from there."

Rachel looked away and crossed her arms. Nate frowned and stood up. She turned to face him and gave him a worried look.

Rachel: "Ness?"

Nate: "I'll be right back."

He went upstairs and knocked on Tracy's door.

Tracy: "Go away."

Nate: "Tracy, it's me, Nate."

She opened the door for him. He went inside and sat on her bed next to her.

Nate: "Your mom told me what happened."

Tracy: "Are you on her side?"

Nate: "No."

Tracy: "Are you going to convince her to pay for my admission fee?"

Nate: "No."

Tracy: "Then why are you here?"

Nate: "I want to hear your story."

Tracy: "Mom doesn't want me to be a cheerleader because she thinks the guys are going to take advantage of me, but I can take care of myself."

Nate: "For sure."

Tracy: "I really want to do this. She's trying to control me. I'm tired of everyone trying to dictate my life just because I'm younger!"

Nate: "Sounds frustrating."

Tracy: "Do you have any idea how it feels? It feels like I'm a pet. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage like my life belongs to her."

Nate: "Yeah, I get that."

Tracy: "You do?"

Nate: "Yeah."

Tracy: "See? Then you understand my frustration. My mom is being a controlling bitch. I hate her!"

Nate: "Did she tell you that she was a cheerleader?"

Tracy: "She did. She got sexually assaulted, but just because it happened to her, doesn't mean it's going to happen to me."

Nate: "Well, I'm gonna go. Just know that even though your mom is being controlling, it does come with love."

He then left for his room. He sat on his desk and logged onto Discord. He texted Ness.

Ness: "Yeah."

Nate: "I'm sorry. It's my fault…"

Ness: "You're ok. I just need to give her space."

Nate: "Kinda hard to do that when you work with her."

Nate: "Oh! Going mid by the way."

Nate: "So, wait, what happened today?"

Ness: "When the baby Pokemon took a nap, I went on my phone. I started talking with Tina and she said some… Things. I got flustered and Leaf thought I was being a perv."

Nate: "Whoa, whoa, slow down. What did Tina say to get you all flustered?"

Ness: "I think we were flirting. I can't tell."

Ness: "So, she was saying if we got to know each other more, then would I be down to… You know."

Ness was about to say something, but he got caught up in an intense battle. Unfortunately his team lost and the enemy took the victory.

Nate: "Also you were too focused on your camps the entire game."

Ness: "Farming is important. I was ahead of the enemy jungler."

Nate: "Yes, which is good, but also you missed out on some good ganking opportunities."

Ness: "Whatever."

Nate: "You can't always blame it on your teammates. Also you need to stay calm when fights break out. I feel like you panic too much because you're worried about your team."

Ness: "I… Y-yeah."

Nate: "But good job on getting ahead in the early game. You just need to cool your head and ignore when your teammates are being toxic."

Ness: "I can't ignore them. What if they have something important to say?"

Nate: "Don't mute them. Just ignore the toxicity part."

Ness: "Fine."

Nate: "Anyway, I think I'mma head to bed."

Ness: "What? Already?"

Nate: "Yeah, I had a long day."

Ness: "Ok. It was fun playing with you."

Nate: "I agree."

Ness: "Sorry if I got toxic."

Nate: "You're good, bro."

Ness: "Goodnight."

Nate: "Nighty night~!"

Nate got up from his chair and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. After that, he went downstairs to grab a glass of water, but he stopped when he heard Rachel and Tracy talking.

Tracy: "I'm sorry, mom. I didn't mean to disrespect you and say that your trauma was stupid."

Rachel: "I'm sorry for being controlling."

Tracy: "It's ok. If you want, I'll give up on being a cheerleader."

Rachel: "N-no. I… I'm sorry. Just because I didn't have a good time doesn't mean the same thing will happen to you."

Tracy: "Does this mean you'll let me?"

Rachel: "I want to talk to the coach first."

Tracy: "Why?"

Rachel: "I want to tell the coach about my concerns. I want to make sure you're going to be safe."

Tracy: "Ok."

Rachel: "We'll go from there. How does that sound?"

Tracy: "Better."

Nate smiled and walked into the kitchen.

Nate: "I'm proud of you girls."

The two girls gasped and held their chest.

Tracy: "You scared us."

Nate: *Chuckles* "Whoops, sorry."

Rachel: "Thank you for talking with us, Ness."

Nate: "Haha… It's Nate."

Rachel: "Oh! I'm so sorry."

Nate: "It's ok, I get it."

Tracy: "Yes, thank you for talking to me in my room. It made me think about how I was acting."

Nate: "No prob~"

The two girls gave Nate a squeeze and he gladly hugged them back. They then went upstairs and went to sleep.

He poured himself a glass of water and went to his room. He felt proud of himself. For once instead of creating problems, he's fixing it. He's doing the opposite of what he did in the smash mansion when he was pretending to be Ness. Never will he ever intentionally hurt others again. Instead his new goal is to be an honest person and try to think about others rather than himself.

The Next Day…

Nate woke up. He smelled something delicious in the kitchen. He eagerly got dressed and went downstairs. He was greeted by Ness's mom putting a plate down on the dinner table. He sat down and saw that it was a plate full of eggs, bacon, grits, and sausage. He ate it and it was delicious.

Nate: "Thank you!"

Rachel: "I'm glad you liked it."

Nate: "Of course."

Rachel: "Anyway, I'm going to get ready for work. I'll be in my room."

Nate: "Ok, see you later."

She went upstairs to do her makeup. Meanwhile Nate made a smoothie. He sat back down on the dinner table with it and went on his phone.

Oh! That's Electra. This is the first time she texted him.
