A/N Description of Xander's weapons, shells and stopping power come from various websites, as well as the damage they can do. I come from a family of hunters, but have only shot a bb gun myself. And since no family member is currently available to interview, I had to do what I usually do, research. If I make a mistake, please let me know.

Someone really should have warned Balthazar that pissing off anyone in the Slayer's group was a bad idea, but they really should have warned them that pissing off Xander Harris in particular, was a very bad idea.

Even with the superior sense of hearing vampires have, none of Balthazar's minions actually heard the homemade smoke bombs Xander had made using hard shell ping-pong balls that he lit and tossed into the warehouse where they were guarding their master. They did, however feel the 10 guage shotgun shells he fired at them at distances that ranged from between 50 yards to 100 yards. Almost all of them were center mass shots. At that range those slugs could stop a wild hog or a deer and drop them dead. What they could do to a human chest even with a rib cage guarding the heart is best described as extreme. The slug is designed to dump all its energy at once, the vampire's chests each pretty much exploded. The hearts turned to hamburger, the lungs were shredded and bone fragments impacted others around each of the targets. The slugs didn't exit any of the bodies, they simply blew up the chests and everything in them in contained explosions.

It's a good thing vampires turn to dust when their unbeating heart is destroyed or that warehouse would have looked like a charnel house after Xander calmly walked into the smoke filled room and started firing.

Balthazar's screams of "Unacceptable! Stop this, I command you!" definitely weren't being obeyed by the blank faced man with glowing golden brown eyes. Although none of them would ever know what his eyes looked like or what his expression was since they were hidden behind heat vision goggles and a gas mask. When one shotgun ran out of slugs he let it drop and hang from the strap attaching it to his shoulder and lifted the one swinging from a strap under his other shoulder and he just kept firing, not giving the vampires a chance to respond, emptying the second shotgun as well.

"I'll kill you!" Balthazar screamed. "There is no honor in hiding! Face me!"

"I'm aware of your telekinetic power, Balthazar and my source says you need to see your target to use it effectively. And since I simply want you dead, honor is a luxury I don't need to indulge." Xander thought at him, having remembered he had mental abilities thanks to the nanites and they included being able to control a target, in the books that was humans. Nice to know he could keep a demon from moving as well as he pulled out the 45 caliber pistol from a holster under his arm and fired until all the hollow point rounds had been expended. He dropped it into the pocket of his coat and pulled out another item. As he'd feared, not even 45 caliber rounds were enough to actually kill the massive blob of flesh that was Balthazar. There was just too much of him. And he had no idea where any vital organs actually were. Pylian demons keep their hearts in their butts, for instances.

So that meant a homemade explosive. Yes, Xander had read a book that came out in 1985 called Improvised Explosives; How To Make Your Own. He'd earmarked several pages for the potential use against vampires and demons. Not to mention, seen a movie called Punisher.

Did he forget to mention that he hated vampires? For good reason, I might add.

Now holding Balthazar's mind in the grip of his own, Xander thought at him. "Open your mouth."

Unable to not do as commanded, Balthazar opened his mouth and Xander dropped the small homemade explosive into it and walked away. Balthazar's head exploded. Given it was significantly smaller than his body, even though it wasn't a large explosion, it was finally enough to kill him.

He dusted a couple of vampires that hadn't been hit center mass and survived his charge on his way out of the warehouse.

The girls, with Cordelia driving, were just pulling up. They'd gotten there as fast as they could, since they'd had to stop at Willy's Bar first.

"Daaaamn, what did X use to cause this?" Faith asked, staring at the mess in the bar.

"If you're looking for the crazy human who shot up my place," Willy told them, recognizing the Slayers. "I doubt he'll be alive much longer, he's going after a demon named Balthazar, he's got about 10 vamps in his personal guard, plus he's got power of his own."

"Tell us what you told the human, Willy." Buffy glared at him. "Or the three of us are going to add to your damages."

"Ah, Slayer, I'm just trying to make a living here!" Willy complained.

"And we're trying to protect a friend, he has good reason to go after Balthazar, Balthazar went after someone in that man's family. Now tell me what you told him." She reached across the bar and lifted Willy up off his feet and pulled him over it.

Willy told them everything he'd told Xander. Buffy dropped him back on his feet. "If you've lied to us, Willy -."

"Yeah, yeah, you'll come back and do more damage. I haven't lied, being a Snitch means I have to give accurate information or I'll get dead real fast."

"Better be." Cordelia smiled. "Because that man will just shoot up your bar some more and the Slayers will kill all your customers. Me, I'll call the IRS and have you audited. Have you ever actually filed a tax return, Willy?"

'Okay,' Willy thought, 'that's officially the scariest threat I've ever heard!'
