Giratina held the Adamant Crystal and the Lustrous Globe in his shadow wings, quietly observing them and the faint light they gave off.
After their encounter with Necrozma, Solgaleo, Lunala, Koradion, Xerneas and Giratina moved away from the ravine in case something happened and Necrozma came back out again.
"Are you sure that you know what you are doing?" Xerneas asked him, concern in her voice. "You know you are not the Deity of Time or Space."
"I know." Giratina answered her, trying to sound reassuring. "I'll just hope that this will work."
He closed his eyes and clutched the stones in his shadow wings. Send us back. He thought to the Adamant Crystal and the Lustrous Globe. Send us back to our original time.
There was a flash of pink and blue light and Giratina opened his eyes. Pink light had shot out from the Lustrous Globe, and blue light from the Adamant Crystal as well. It spun around them before the light settled in a spot in front of Solgaleo, creating a pink and blue portal.
Solgaleo smiled and he immediately jumped into it, with Lunala and Koraidon following him. Giratina gave Xerneas the Adamant Crystal and she jumped in along with them. Before Giratina could jump in as well, he saw something move in the corner of his eye and he turned around.
There was a black figure standing not too far from him. He had a starlike head, blank white eyes, and four wings. And he was staring right at Giratina.
An unfamiliar Pokémon… Giratina thought, remembering what Solgaleo had told him earlier. Could this be…?
The Black Figure stared at him for a moment longer before he turned and dashed off. Giratina looked at the portal again, it was getting smaller as the seconds passed.
Well, the portal can wait. He thought. I need some answers right now.
He turned around and started following the Black Figure just as the portal closed, leaving a flash of light before the area was engulfed in darkness.
