Giratina ran until he eventually came to a small clearing illuminated by the light from the ravine that was not too far from him.
The Black Figure was perched on a tall stalactite that was in the center of the clearing. Once Giratina came in, he turned around, his white eyes staring blankly at him.
"So…" He rasped at him. "You decided to find your way back home by now, did you?"
"Why are you here?" Giratina said, ignoring him. "Did you cause all of this?"
The Black Figure was silent for a moment. His eerie white eyes staring through him. "In a way, yes." He finally responded. "I guess there's no point in hiding that anymore. Do you know who I am? Even in this form?"
"I have a guess." Giratina answered, recognizing the Black Figure's voice. "But that's only because of earlier. How do you end up causing this?"
He turned away again, avoiding Giratina's gaze. "You wouldn't understand." He said to him. "You see, the way I am right now is weak. I used to be full of light that helps me live. But after the collapse of my dimension, I have lost all of it now. Leaving me empty. An empty skin of what I used to be."
"Does that mean that you're dying now?"
"I will always be dying. As long as I'm like this, I will stay dying until I have regained my light again." The Black Figure slowly turned back to Giratina. "Your world… It's the only world I've found that has enough light for me to regain my true form again, and maybe even restore my original dimension again. And whatever happens to this world, if it can't live without its light, I know that its sacrifice will never be forgotten. I only ask now that you let me do what I need to do now, and to not interfere with it."
Giratina was silent, still trying to process all that he heard. After a moment of silence, he responded.
"Are you saying you're willing to let hundreds of Pokémon die just so you can have your form and world back?" He asked him. "You're not the only one who wants to live. I'm sorry, but I've made it my role to keep this world safe from any harm. And if that means you have to stay this way just so I can protect this world, then so be it."
The Black Figure stared at him. Giratina tried to ignore his unsettling gaze as his white eyes stared deep into his soul, a slight flicker of anger in them even.
"Just as I thought." He said to Giratina. "You'll never understand."
And with that, the Black Figure's form changed right before him, into a familiar, bipedal figure with long crystal arms. Giratina tensed, ready to fight Necrozma.
Necrozma lunged forward, tackling Giratina and sending him across the clearing. He got up as soon as he could once he was off of him, and found Necrozma floating above him, preparing a Power Gem right at him. Giratina shot out of the way, just barely missing one of the gems that flew right towards him.
He got back up again and lunged at Necrozma as quickly as he could. He fell flat to the ground and Giratina wasted no time trying to strike Dragon Claw on Necrozma. It hit, and he was sent flying across the clearing again. Giratina ran towards him, but Necrozma was already up by the time he was about to use Ancient Power on him. He was shot back by Prismatic Laser before he knew it.
Giratina tried to get up, but was immediately pinned back down. He struggled against Necrozma's grip as he tried to throw him off. Soon enough, he felt himself flying across the clearing again, and pain exploded throughout his body. Each time Giratina was thrown to the ground, it was getting harder and harder to get back up.
He looked up, Necrozma was looming over him, his prism-like gaze emotionlessly staring into Giratina. He tried to get up, trying to ignore the pain burning through his body.
Suddenly, there was a flash of light, and before Necrozma could turn around, he was blasted back by a pale orange beam of light. Giratina turned around, and saw a large white golem with large golden bands on his shoulders and wrists, and bushes on his head and legs. His arm was outstretched, slightly glowing pale orange.
"Now is designated time." He said, taking a step forward and putting his hand down.
That… is that…
Regigigas?
Right by Regigigas's side was Xerneas, once she met Giratina's gaze, she seemed to smile and she nodded at him.
Giratina's heart overflowed with gratitude. He smiled and nodded back. Necrozma had slowly gotten up and started moving towards Regigigas and started powering up a Power Gem at him. Despite Regigigas being slow, he was able to strike his Giga Impact at Necrozma first. Xerneas dashed after him and shot Aurora Beam at him. Necrozma got up quickly and was able to dodge it, but wasn't able to dodge the second Aurora Beam that Xerneas fired at him.
Giratina started running toward Necrozma and powered up an Ancient power at him, it was able to hit, but Necrozma was able to get back up and fire Dark Pulse at him. Once again, he was thrown across the clearing and pain burst through his body. Regigigas came in and used Zen Headbutt on him. This was able to hit Necrozma and he was knocked backwards.
Regigigas walked slowly toward him and started to prepare a Hyper Beam at Necrozma, but he slowly got up first before he could. Necrozma backed away slowly, and raised a hand to reveal a small pale blue and white orb growing in his hands. It grew bigger until it flew behind him, taking the form of a small wormhole. Once it was finally big enough, Necrozma dashed into it as fast as he could, disappearing into the wormhole in a flash.
"No!" Giratina cried out, already dashing towards the wormhole after him. "I won't let you get away with this!" Xerneas and Regigigas caught up with him, and before Giratina knew it, he found himself jumping into the Ultra Wormhole.
