Adamant for Adaman

Banishment

Author Notes: So gotta be honest. Really thought this summer meant more stuff would get typed up in the time before I go to school. So sadly it's gonna be another bit of time before the next one pops up. I do not own Pokemon and let's get going.

Part 10

2nd P.O.V

"Graaaaaaa!" You absolutely HATED your luck. Third time's the charm right? Tauros-a-shit! And here you thought the Crimson Mirelands were bad with all the hostile alpha pokemon. "Garrrrrrrrr!" You forgot all about the damn garchomp and its pre-evolution hell spawns.

Nothing was going right ever since you landed in this area. "Achoo!" You were hoping-HOPING that this would be a tolerable journey. But no, after flying with gyarados until a snowstorm forced you to land and travel on rapidash, it's been one shitty encounter after another.

Machokes, Glailies, and now garchomp. If there was any good out of this, your anger was doing a wonderful job in distracting you from freezing to death. "Ahhhhhhh!" Though that didn't make it any easier in reaching Uxie's cave.

After nearly collapsing in the snow, you finally reached the running river that stood between you and your destination. About time. Ironically enough this was the easiest to find out of all the trio's caves. Turns out that fleeing for your life made certain landmarks stick to your head better-who knew?

Of course, to be fair, you weren't here too long ago to deal with that damn chunk of ice noble, so as far a layout went, this territory was the freshest in your mind. But just because it was easy to find, did not mean it was easy to reach.

"Gyarados is going to get sick in the cold water..." Thanks to the storm that continued to make the terrain more dangerous than it already was. You had your fair share of falling into pit holes and running from territorial pokemon which led to some tired pokemon and a nice set of bruises to your already aching body.

Like you didn't deal with that enough the last time you traveled here. "Caaaaww! Cawwww!" And that didn't even count the birds that did nothing to help you with maneuvering across the lake. The rufflets were territorial beasts that really didn't like visitors.

Why weren't they affected by the snowstorm?! It was times like these where you were glad to be prepared. "Garvevoir...I think it's your time to shine." Your psychic pokemon gave a little curtsey before grabbing your arm gently. Together the two of you teleported to the cave's mouth.

"Ok. So far so good." Uxie, the legendary pokemon of knowledge was arguably the one you had the least connection with. You weren't on the same level of intelligence as them, which wasn't a bad thing, but made things a bit harder to predict. Then again, you weren't that close with Azelf either, yet things ended well.

At the very least you didn't think your encounter and challenge couldn't be anymore difficult then the little game of chase you did with Mesprit. Really took for all across Obsidian Fields for what had to be hours before you got lucky. "Thanks, gardevoir. Return."

Just thinking about it exhausted you. But you came this far-you were so close. You slapped your cheeks, appreciating the sting that revitalized you. One more. Well...one more time searching for legendaries in off the map caves anyway.

Steeling yourself, you marched in, immediately blinded in the darkness. 'Hello Shishi. It is a pleasure to see you once more.' You blinked, surprised that Uxie approached you. You couldn't see, but previous experiences with the other two had them waiting till you were further in the cave before speaking with you.

Not that you were complaining. You were long due for this to be over. "Wish I could say the same Uxie, both due to the circumstance as well as literally." You heard giggling in your mind. An occurrence you've long gotten used to at this point.

'I'm afraid you'll have to wait a tad longer for I need to test your worth.' Of course. Standard protocol just like before, thankfully this would be the last one. There was only so much running around and dealing with challeges from legendary pokemon that you could handle.

Purposely ignoring the looming demand from Arceus that crept its way into your memory. Usually that little voice that reminded you sat quietly for awhile before bothering you. Since the whole thing with Kamado, it's stayed tucked into the back of your mind, letting you deal with the current dilemma.

One crises at a time afterall. "Alright, so what am I dealing with Uxie?" You crossed every bit of your body that was possible, praying for something easy. Again, it couldn't be another stupid game of tag. It just wasn't fair when your opponent was able to teleport whereever they wanted.

And if it was in this artic nightmare, you may as well offer yourself to the horde of zoroarks. 'Don't worry, i'll be nice.' Pokemon were summoned, standing on all sides.

'How good are your math skills?' You suppressed a groan to the best of your abilities. Uxie continued to giggle, sounding far more malicious than they probably intended.

You regretted everything.

Cold but satisfied, you left the cave. Success shone on your face as the raging storm still went on. Done. Three out of three! Finally, the red chain could be made "Someone help!" Snow completely covered the ground, all pokemon not ice type or wearing thick fur hid away to survive another day.

"EEEEEK!" You would too once you returned home. "Ahhhhh!" But not before figuring out what all the commotion was about. A part of you was sorely tempted to abandon the screams. Not your problem, and involvement would only lead to more problems in the long run.

Those words had a tight grip, nearly causing you to summon gardevoir and order a trip back to camp. "Please!" But. You knew you could never ignore a cry for help. "Gardevoir, get me across the river!" Not when you understood the pain of needing help and no one answering your call.

The moment you touched ground on the other side you returned your pokemon and made a mad dash across the snow tipped land. "AHHHHHHH!" The sounds of pain grew louder, louder than the crunching snow beneath your feet.

"GRAAAAAAAAA!" Garchomp. Always that damn alpha garchomp! Panting, you reached over towards the slope that blocked your view, grimacing at the site. People from the Corp, all rookies from the looks of it, injured and scared before the might brawl of that garchomp and an alpha mamoswine.

Just the brief glance at the area told you why they couldn't leave. Erupted ice and ground created major fissures preventing them a way towards safety. No one but you carried more than three pokemon, let alone ones that could save them in the midst of a crises.

Even if they did, it would be a struggle with this storm. It would only get harder as the frigid burns seeped through layers of protection. The cold sucked energy. Combine that with from slipping and sliding against pokemon in the ice well, it was only a matter of time before the situation drained their life away.

You were still a good distance away. You could leave. Not get involved because the moment you do, that Garchomp will be furious with vengeance. No clue on the mamowine's temper, but it still posed a huge risk. "HEY!" As much as your brain screamed this was a terrible decision, you got involved.

"Gardevoir, teleport them out of there. Rapidash as soon as they get over here, carry them back to the nearest base." Two pokemon flew out of their balls to spring into action. "Gyarados, hydopump-cool those two out!" Another, just as fast, just as eager to obey.

All three of them agreed with you that this was a mistake.

"Hey-that's the traitor! Luxio use thundershock!"

Electricity suddenly coursed through your body, paralyzing you in place. You couldn't scream, couldn't move as you pokemon tried to reach you. Only they couldn't as the awful members you tried to save sent out more pokemon to attack them.

"Get her!"

Why? You were only trying to help. That was all you ever did after falling from the sky. How many times were you going to have to suffer for doing the right thing? How many times were your pokemon going to get hurt because people didn't understand.

"Once we get rid of her, our world will be fixed!"

Hatred...knew no bounds.

Regret as usual became a good friend of yours.

When you fell face-first into the snow crusted ice, everything went numb. Shadows towered over, the cries of your pokemon faintly echoing in your ears. Slowly you close your eyes. Whether it be from the cold, or the bastards surrounding you-this was it.

All of your efforts to help people. To survive. Meaningless. The world would never be saved. The secrets Arceus kept from you would never be revealed. The hope that faintly burned in your heart finally snuffed out.

It was the end...

"Raaaaaaaaaaa!"

to be continued

Author Notes: My hatred for getting kicked out knows no bounds. I will make Kamado and his village the biggest of the jerks! Because I imagine this would be a thing if I let it fester.

I will show no remorse! But I do have to end this for now. Guys thank you all so much for reading. If you like this please feel free to fav/follow/review as it would mean a crap ton to me. Tchao for now
