The Soulbond

Chapter 22

The day after Chiaki, Zenki and Gokimaru beat up the motorcicle gang, just before breakfast...

"Chiaki, wake up! We need to have breakfast if we want to do anything today!"

"...Don't wanna get up, so sleepy!"

Just then their stomachs roared, making Chiaki wake up finally.

"Right, we need to eat! Come on, Chiaki, you have to eat for three!"

Zenki grabbed Chiaki's right hand and dragged her towards the low table where Saki and Gokimaru were waiting for them. All started eating, but after Chiaki finished the bowl of rice she was eating slowly, she fell unconscious, but before she came to any harm, Zenki caught her in his arms.

"Oi, Chiaki, wake up!"

.:I'm too sleepy, wake me up later:.

"Gokimaru, please tell me what's wrong with Chiaki!"

"I'll do a scan of her with my healing powers." "Akasha On!"

"Well, the only thing wrong with Chiaki-sama is that she is very, very tired!"

"Well... we might have slept an average of two hours and a half a night since we began mating"

"WHAT! Zenki, you and Chiaki-sama are a pair of horny teenagers in love, but you should tone it down! She needs to rest sometimes!"

"I didn't realize it was harmful to her, my only reference of human stamina is the pair of us!"

"Zenki-dono, you should be more careful with Chiaki, she's pregnant too, and that makes her more fragile, even if she's denying it!"

Saki looked at Zenki with a glare that made him cower inside and nearly break into a cold sweat, she could freeze hell if she was angry enough.

Anxious for Chiaki, still in his arms, he looked down and saw the soulbond, visible again.

"Goki, I can see the bond again, what's going on?"

The blue kishin scanned Zenki, Chiaki, and the bond between them and said:

"It's nothing harmful, the bond is taking energy from you to help Chiaki-sama and the babies to be healthy."

"Good, she can take anything she needs, I have energy to spare!"

Zenki looked fondly at the young woman sleeping in his arms, not even noticing the smiles that Goki and Saki shared at the sight.

The same day, about noon...

"What? Where am I?"

"About time you woke up, you gave us a scare when you fell asleep at breakfast!

"Zenki, what am I doing in your arms?, I don't remember anything after we got clean and went to sleep..."

"Chiaki, I'm sorry I didn't realize you were so tired! I dragged you to breakfast thinking that eating a little would give you some energy and you passed out after finishing your rice bowl."

"I did?"

"Goki says that you were extremely tired, but nothing else was wrong."

"Can you hold me in your arms a litte more? I feel safe when you're embracing me!"

"OK!"

.:Zenki, I just saw it! The bond is visible again! I thought that it had gone nearly invisible and intangible after stabilizing! What's going on?:.

.:About that, Goki says it's taking energy from me and feeding it into you so that you and the babies are healthy. Don't worry, it isn't harming either of us!"

.:Zenki, I was wondering, are things going too fast? It feels like ages ago that you were in the sealed form of a child, and yet it hasn't been even a month since you're in a human form when sealed!:.

.:I wonder about it sometimes, but I don't worry about it. Being a human and mated to you, is much, much better than being in a child form!:.

Later, when Gokimaru passed by when he was going to prepare lunch...

.:Are?Chiaki-sama is still asleep?:.

.:I'm not!, I'm just enjoying being in Zenki's arms!:.

.:Since we're awake and the moment is ruined, we'd better go tidy up, Chiaki!:.

.:Bye, Gokimaru-kun!:.

.:See you later, Gokimaru!:.

At lunch...

"I see you're doing better, Chiaki, I hope Zenki-dono is taking good care of you... aren't you, Zenki-dono?"

"Hai, Saki-baa! I'm not letting her be harmed if I can help it!" Said Zenki, feeling the half-glare Chiaki's grandma was directing at him.

.:Zenki! What's going on? Why is baachan glaring at you?:.

.:She might be blaming me for you passing out at breakfast, it was partly my fault, true, but she's being scary... I'm not used to be scared by someone other than Ozunu-jiji!:.

.:Poor Zenki, I agree that it was parly your fault, but it was mine too, I wanted to mate with you until I ran out of energy! Besides, I agree with you that baachan is very scary when she's angry:.

"Baachan, Let's eat, I'm very hungry!"

With that remark, everybody began eating.

In the afternoon...

"Zenki, Chiaki-sama, can we do some training, with both Zenki and I in kishin form? I need to work out some frustrations, and sparring in our true forms, might do us good!"

"I'd like to spar, too. Chiaki, if you use the spell, we can begin, as soon as you watch us at a safe distance!"

As soon as both became kishin and started sparring, Chiaki could barely see them moving, even if they weren't using weapons. Lightning, ice and fire clashed between the two kishin. Chiaki was astounded that she could see a bit more of the fight as the seconds and minutes passed.

Finally, after about an hour later...

"I win, Goki! That was a good spar!" "Chiaki, did you see us?"

"At the start I was barely seeing a bit of the fight, but it looks that my eyes became used to your speed, and at the end I could follow your clashes!"

"Well, Zenki, Chiaki-sama, looks like the spar served more than one purpose. Let's go

inside and get changed!"

The trio went back inside in a better mood.

Later, at Shishaou's lair.

"Kurogarasu, go distribute more possession seeds, near the town, I'd like to be entartained while I wait for the moment I will be able to make my plans work!"

As you can see, this story is a slice-of-life, mostly centered in the relationships of the main characters, and the sexual situations (implicit or explicit) are there mostly for the plot.
