But faces of evil thought gone have returned and are seeking the six Kamidogu and reawaken a deity long forgotten. Now these protectors, old and new must band together to stop this threat.

This is my retelling of Mortal Kombat which is an entire hard reboot that will be retelling every story in the Original Timeline going from MK1 to MK Armageddon. I will include a vast amount of characters from various pieces of MK related media along with some of my own creations where l treat each character with care. Constructive feedback is always welcome. Kuai Liang is my favourite Mortal Kombat character, so I decided to retell his story with a few of my own touches, taking inspiration from both timelines, semi/non cannon material and my own headcannons/adjustments.
