It was a bit surreal, to return to Loguetown after so many years.

There were way less marines hanging around, for one. The docks were practically unsupervised, so they managed to dock even with their flag still hanging high. And there appeared to be a lot more gang work happening in the narrower streets and darker alleys, too. Despite it being the "Town of the Beginning and the End", it would appear the World Government didn't appear all that troubled by its management.

"Alright, let's split up to find what we need as quickly as possible," instructed Nami. "There's a storm coming, so we should leave before it hits, else we'll be trapped here for who knows how long – and knowing Luffy's habit of getting in trouble, I don't think sticking around for too long would be a wise idea."

"I'll go buy the supplies we'll need," volunteered Sanji. "And some extra for the recipes I want to try out."

"I'll come with – I need to buy some new tools," added Usopp.

"I'll also come with you guys, since I need to get some shopping done," nodded Nami.

"I need to go and buy new swords," sighed Zoro.

"I wanna go see where the Pirate King died!" beamed Luffy.

"I'll take you there, then I'll go and find my boss," announced Sabo. "I'll come back to see you guys off, though."

"I have one more job for the Army, so I'll get that done as well as some shopping," simply shrugged Brynlee.

Nami nodded. "Alright, then the money you guys will need—"

"No thanks," Zoro cut Nami off with a small glare. "I'm not accepting your stupid three-hundred percent interest rate. I'll figure it out."

Nami glared back, though she rolled her eyes. "Doesn't matter since this isn't my money – it's Brynlee's. She's generously offered to cover your personal expenses until we've started racking in proper treasure."

"What, seriously?" blinked Usopp.

Brynlee beamed, unperturbed. "Of course! We're crew – we should look out for each other. I figured a proper allowance for personal items would be a good idea. So, Nami will handle the expenses meant for the crew and the ship as a whole, like supplies and maintenance fees, but I'll give you guys money to spend every time we reach an island. It's from my personal fund for now, but we should be able to set up a group fund once we've started journeying properly. There you go!" She quickly handed out a thick wad of cash to every crew member, and a slightly bigger one to Sabo, who quirked a brow. "Most of it is for your brother – who's already run off, by the way, so you might want to try and catch up before he completely disappears."

"What—damn it! Luffy, wait up!"

Chuckling, she then glanced to the others, though Zoro and Sanji still appeared a bit hesitant to accept. She offered them both a smile.

"Don't worry about it, seriously. And if it really bothers you, then you guys can just pay me back another time – no interests, promise. I just want everyone to be comfortable and not worry about money, of all things."

"Thank you thank you thank you!" cried Usopp. "I'll be able to buy all sorts of upgrades!"

"I don't need it right now," replied Sanji, handing the money back with a smile. "I still have a lot of money saved up from when I was working at the Baratie. But I'll tell you if I need more, eventually."

"Okay! Zoro?"

"… I should be able to get some decent swords. Thanks."

Brynlee's smile only widened, if possible. "Of course! Make sure you pick the best ones! Now, off you go, guys. Like Nami said, we need to hurry!"

As they all quickly split up – with Nami swiftly kissing her cheek as thanks – Brynlee watched them go, happy and satisfied. If there was one thing she'd retained from her first life, it was that she always loved to provide for those she cared about. Be it advice, a safe space, or goods, she always tried her best to give them everything they could want and need. In this life, she was just lucky enough that money was the easiest to come by.

Though, I suppose the name 'Lucky' wasn't given at random, ironically enough…

And here goes the first chapter of the small Loguetown Arc! We'll be here for a few of those, but I think you'll quite like what Brynlee will stumble upon in the next one xD

I'm thankful as always for your reviews and continued support!

Also, to answer a few questions!

1. Brynlee's wings are still strapped up & hidden under a cloak, giving her a bit of a hunchback appearance. There's no way she'd let those out just like that. The only safe place I can think of is Skypiea, and they're not there yet xD

2. The reason why she hasn't leveled up her spear yet is simple: she didn't have a proper teacher. She couldn't just pick up a spear, spin it a few times and become proficient with it. So, she decided to focus on the resources she had at hand, like learning Fishman Karate, and focus on the spear later on. She's been a busy girl, you know!

3. Finally, if you guys have any ideas for Brynlee's epithet on her future wanted poster, feel free to share! I have a few in mind but I'm still really undecided and very open to suggestions!

That's all! As always, feel free to ask if you have any more questions!
