The nurses went to check in on Boscha... and saw that she was missing.
"Oh sweet lord!" She shouted as she rushed to alert Lord Death.
Not that it would do much. She was already out of the state.
Her body was healed enough, letting Boscha move without a crutch but a little slow.
Still, she was far enough to avoid the DWMA and Lord Death, as he can't leave the city, at least that's what the legends said. She was currently in Utah, as she knew there was a train she could catch that would bring her to New York City.
"Final stop!" The bus driver said, alerting Boscha as she woke up with a yawn.
"Thanks." Boscha said, popping her neck a bit as she walked off the bus.
Boscha pulled out the cash she took out of her account, so that she can't be tracked, and used it to pay for a cross country Amtrak ticket.
'Alright, next step is finding a place to eat before the train departs.' Boscha thought, putting the ticket in her pocket.
"Hey. Do you know where a girl can get something to eat?" Boscha asked.
"Sure. There's a little malt shop just down the street." The ticket booth worker said.
"Thanks." Boscha said.
The surviving meister walked down the street to the malt shop, seeing it was as old school as you could see it. Old jukebox, vintage records on the walls, and an air of welcoming that helped relax Boscha from her vengeance fueled mindset for now.
"I think I'll sit at the counter." Boscha muttered, walking towards the counter of the shop.
As she sat, Boscha was reliving the attack in her head over and over again for what she could've done different.
What attacks she could've used to kill Venom before he could kill Cat or any of them!
'We should've used Soul Resonance or our wavelength attacks right off the bat. Then that thing would be in the ground where it belongs!' Boscha thought as she was given a menu by a waitress. '... I'm so sorry, Cat.'
Boscha could only blame herself as she was the leader of their group. It was her first and foremost job to protect them and she failed.
'I swear on the DWMA itself, that cunt is as good as dead.' Boscha thought, grilling the menu tightly. 'I'll find him and rip him limb from limb.'
"Hello, ma'am. What would you like to order?" The waitress asked.
"I'm going to start with a coke." Boscha said.
"Ice or no ice?" The waitress asked.
"Ice, please." Boscha said.
"Okay, I'll be right back with that, you keep looking at the menu." The waitress said.
Boscha looked over the menu as her stomach growled a bit, making her groan.
'I need something filling but not too expensive since I don't want to take out too much money next time and be tracked.' Boscha thought as she found something good on the menu.
"Here's your drink." The waitress said, giving Boscha her coke with ice and a straw.
"Thanks. And I'm ready to order, I'll have the number 7." Boscha said.
The waitress wrote the order down.
"Got it. I'll be right back with your order, ma'am. Until then, enjoy your drink and some tv." The waitress said as she used a remote to turn in the diner tv.
"Thanks." Boscha said as she took a sip of her drink and watched the tv, which happened to be covering a college football game in New York.
She knew Venom was heading there. She doesn't know why exactly but she can just feel it.
As for what weapon she could use when she faced Venom, perhaps Boscha could steal a fireman axe or something from the train.
"Here's your order, ma'am." The waitress said, coming back with Boscha's food. "One number 7."
"Thank you." Boscha said as she began eating.
She focused solely on her food and ate in peace, missing how the football game changed to an emergency news broadcast. If she did notice, she'd realize she might have a bit of help from New York's friendly neighborhood, Spider-Girl.
On the news, it showed her stopping a runaway bus from falling into the Hudson river.
"Who needs to go to the gym when you do stuff like this everyday?" Spider-Girl quipped.
'Yeah, you're welcome.' Amity said.
'I know and thank you, batata. I love you so much.' Luz thought as she pulled the bus back from the edge and moved away.
'Alright, police can handle it from here.' Luz thought.
Some people began cheering for Spider-Girl, making her smile under her mask as she waved at them all before web swinging away.
'Alright, let's get away from the people and seperate, Amity, I have to go home and see Mama Eda.' Luz thought.
'Agreed. I could go for a snack too. Being your suit isn't as easy as you think.' Amity said.
'But you love it cuz you get to feel me up as much as you want.' Luz thought with a grin.
'... Please don't make this weird.' Amity said.
Luz chuckled as she continued to swing, not hearing any sort of denial in this claim as they continued to "Mama Eda's" home.
