Klaus and Elijah were waking Rebekah today. Lyra had sent them alone and hoped that they wouldn't kill each other along the way. Lyra was excited to meet the only female original, hopefully Rebekah would like her.

Lyra was spending her day planning. Teddy's first birthday was coming up and Jenna was helping her plan. Lyra had never had a party before so she wasn't sure what all was needed but she would make sure her son was celebrated to the fullest. Most of the party items could be purchased around town but the gift she was planning had to be picked up in New Yorks magical district.

Jenna was talking with Bipsy about the cake and how they should set up. Lyra was letting Jenna and Bipsy take the lead, she had to plan the guest list but luckily it wasn't a hard task. The only request Lyra had about the cake was for it to be chocolate. Bipsy said she could work with that.

Jenna had headed home about two hours ago and Lyra was just about to set Teddy down for his dinner. When she felt Elijah enter her wards, she scooped her boy up and headed to the door to greet him. They watched from the porch as Elijah parked, Teddy waved when he exited his car.

"Well, where's your sister" Lyra asked once he was nearer.

Elijah smiled, taking Teddy when he reached for him, "Niklaus is bringing her. She needed to shower and get a new outfit. He daggered her in the twenties, not fashionable now"

Lyra rolled her eyes, "I don't think I'll ever understand your brother" Elijah laughs.

They walked back inside and sit at the table, Lyra began to feed Teddy so he wouldn't be off his schedule. She would wait to eat when the other two arrived.

Luckily it didn't take long for them to arrive. Elijah went to greet his siblings so Lyra could finish feeding her son. Walking back into the room, he was about to introduce Rebekah when Teddy caught sight of the new person. Unfortunately, he scared Rebekah when his hair changed to match her own.

"How" she gasped.

Lyra stood, walking over to introduce herself "Hello Rebekah, I'm Lyra and this is my son Teddy. He's what's known as a metamorphagus, it's how he changed his hair" motioning to the table, "Would you like some dinner? I'll have Bipsy bring the drinks"

Rebekah sat next to Elijah, still in slight shock. She watched how her brother interacted with the child. Lyra walks back in with Klaus behind her, seems he has annoyed her already.

Everyone freezes when Teddy sees Klaus and squeals, "Bunny". Elijah and Lyra choke on their laughter. Klaus glares at them while Rebekah just looks lost. Teddy of course just stares Klaus down.

"Wererabbit" Elijah coughs, then smiles at his brother.

"You're not funny, even you" Klaus grumbles, pointing to Teddy who smiles back.

Rebekah is shocked at Klaus' reply, thinking he would have been mad. Not being able to hold it back, she asks, "What was that about"

Lyra laughs and then explains the bunny ears, she then adds while glaring at Klaus, "If he makes me mad, I'll add a tail to match"

Looking to her brother, Rebekah is shocked to see a smile. What in the world was going on here.

Dinner turned out great. Lyra was really happy that she would be able to get to know Rebekah better. She had offered to help her acclimate to the current times. Rebekah was grateful for the offer, she didn't want to have to rely on her brothers. Of course, getting to spend time with the adorable little boy was definitely a plus in her book.

The three originals were waiting for Lyra to come back downstairs. She had put Teddy to bed and wanted to solidify their plans that they had made. Rebekah was using that time to interrogate her brothers.

"So, she broke your curse and what you've gone all soft on her? I thought she was seeing Elijah" Rebekah asked Klaus.

Rolling his eyes, Klaus answered "I respect the witch. She could kill me with no problem. I'm not about to give her a reason to" at the confusion in his sisters eyes, he looks to Elijah.

"Lyra is different that the witches we've met. Her society is kept hidden because of how powerful they are. Lyra is even more powerful than those of her kind, she won a war and has a special connection with Death himself" Elijah explains, adding "She would need to tell you more, I honestly don't think even I understand it all"

Klaus nods, "Trust me, she's not someone you want as an enemy. Lyra must be the nicest person I've met but she will kill if she must" Elijah agrees.

Rebekah thinks on that, then she looks to Elijah "So you're a couple. Does the boys father not come around" Shaking his head, Elijah is about to reply when Lyra enters.

"Teddy's biological parents were killed. They fought in the war with me. I had gone to tell his grandmother about the deaths when we were attacked by supporters of the opposite side. I barely managed to get Teddy out before they could do the same to him" Rebekah looks surprised, it only shows more when Lyra continues "He was only a month old, I had been named his godmother. Where I come from that actually means he is my son when no one is left" Lyra has to take a moment before she can continue, "In my world, there is blood adoption. I did one before we came here, so he is also biologically mine"

The four spend a few more hours talking, getting Rebekah up to speed. Rebekah has an immense amount of respect for the woman. She lost everything and everyone but still wakes every day and is giving her son a good life.

The two make plans for a shopping trip. Lyra tells her she will help her figure out how to work her phone and some electronics. She definitely wasn't an expert, but she would help. They had made the plans for taking care of Mikael and called it a night.

Lyra had asked Bipsy to watch Teddy today so she could buy his birthday present. She knew she was following in Sirius footsteps but she thought it was a must. Entering the magical district of New York, Lyra was amazed. Diagon alley was older and smaller compared to the sight before her. Here, they looked to have updated with the times. Britain was still stuck in the 19th century but New York was very modern. Lyra spent time walking around, exploring. She would definitely have to bring Teddy back here, maybe even Elijah. He would find it interesting.

Lyra had walked into the last shop for her trip today. This stop was the whole reason she had come. Browsing through the selection before her, Lyra finally spotted what she was looking for. Having done her research, she knew exactly what she would need to make sure her son was safe.

When the sales clerk approached, he asked "Have you found what you're looking for Miss?"

Lyra smiled, "Yes, I would like this training broom and all the safety gear. Please add the size adjusting charms" the clerk nodded, gathering what she had asked for, "Also, I would like to purchase two of the Nimbus 2008" The clerks eyes widened at her request. He hurriedly gathered the two brooms and lead her to the counter.

"Would you like for me to wrap any of these" The clerk asked. Lyra was his best sell of the day, he would carry it home if she asked.

Smiling, Lyra shook her head, "No thank you. It's my sons first birthday so I want to do it all" the clerk smiled at her.

Lyra had all of her items in her expandable bag and headed to the floo. Time to get back to her boy. Luckily it was still early enough, she hadn't missed putting him to bed. She exited the floo and headed to her room to quickly hide the purchases. Lyra headed back down to find her Teddy Bear and get her cuddles for the night.

It was finally the day of Teddy's party. Lyra was so excited, maybe more than her son. Teddy wasn't sure what was going on but he loved that everyone was here. Jenna had arrived and helped her set up. The decorations looked amazing. Bipsy had really outdone herself with the cakes. One cake was for the party and the other was a small chocolate cake with chocolate icing for Teddy.

Elijah had arrived early and was immediately put on Teddy duty. He had to keep the birthday boy occupied while Lyra and Jenna finished the little things. Elijah thought he had the easiest job.

Lyra and Jenna had just finished double checking everything when the first of the guests arrived. Lyra hurried to greet everyone. She had made sure her floo was open for Kingsley. He had told her he would be there.

Damon and shockingly Stefen showed. Klaus and Rebekah of course came, Rebekah noticed Stefan first. Jeremy made sure to stop by, he had to bring the gift because Jenna forgot it. Lyra felt the ward alert her of the floo and took off to greet Kingsley. She waited as he stepped out and hugged him.

"I'm so happy you were able to make it" Lyra told him. Kingsley released her from the hug.

"I brought someone for you as well" Kingsley said, stepping away from the floo just as it lit again.

"Luna!" Lyra said, shocked. Luna ran over, grabbing her into a tight hug.

"I've missed you so much" Luna told her in her dreamy tone.

Lyra squeezed her back, "I've missed you too" she was choked up. Clearing her throat, she said "We're going to need to do introductions"

Lyra lead Kingsley and Luna to everyone and introduced them. She saved Teddy and Elijah for last. Standing next to Elijah, she said "Kings, you know Teddy, but Luna doesn't" both waved to the boy, taking a breath she says "This is Elijah Mikaelson" Luna smiled at him, while Kingsley had a look in his eye. "Elijah, this is my best friend, Luna Lovegood. This is the Minister of Magic Kingsley Shackelbolt. They're the only two I trust from Britain". Elijah greeted them both, he knew the man would probably ask questions later. Lyra dragged them all over for the party to begin.

Teddy had a blast smashing and eating his own cake. Lyra made sure to get many, many pictures. He would definitely need a stomach soother later from all that chocolate. When it came time for presents, Lyra sat on the floor with Teddy in her lap. She charged Elijah with taking pictures. He did so dutifully.

Luna and Jenna took turns handing them gifts. The two woman had hit it off amazingly. Rebekah really enjoyed the quirkiness of Luna as well. Lyra had been worried that people wouldn't know how to handle Luna but everything went great.

Of course this little boy was spoiled. From Damon and Stefan, he received two of the loudest toys on earth. Lyra would get them back. Jeremy and Jenna had gotten him some picture books and stuffies that matched the stories. Klaus bought him his own mini art studio, or at least that's what it looked like. Rebekah had gotten him a new wardrobe and some toys. Luna had gotten him wizarding toys, some even moved on their own. Elijah had purchased a giant swing set. These Mikaelsons were ridiculous. Kingsley's gift made Lyra cry, he had made picture books of Remus and Dora, Andy and Ted, he also added in Lyra's parents as grandparents and Uncle Sirius. They were all wizarding photos so they moved.

Lyra handed Teddy to Elijah so she could hug Kingsley. "Thank you, I didn't have any pictures and the one's I'm painting aren't finished. It will be so much easier to tell him the stories now" Kingsley hugged her back.

"I knew you didn't have heart to go to Andromedas but I wanted to make sure you both had those" Kingsley told her.

Lyra nodded, wiping her eyes she walked back to Elijah and Teddy. After Elijah made sure she was okay, she let Teddy open her gift. Hearing Luna's gasp, the others were unsure of what it was.

"Tell me you didn't" Kingsley asked as she handed her son the next box with a smile.

Teddy squealed when he seen the training broom "Fly mama" he asked. Lyra nodded. Summoning her own and the spare, she moved the party outside.

Luna ran when she looked to her, laughing she looked to Kingsley "Wanna play chase" he sighed but nodded. Walking over, he grabbed the spare broom.

Everyone else watched, curious at what was happening. Lyra placed the gear on Teddy, and set him on his broom. When Teddy took off, gasps rang out. Lyra smiled and hopped on her broom to follow. They spent the next thirty minutes chasing Teddy around the yard.

Teddy was tuckered out. Lyra had put him down after a bath. The party had been amazing, only Elijah was left. Luna had told Lyra she would come visit soon. Lyra didn't question, only said her floo would be open.

Elijah walked up behind her, placing his arms around her waist "I think Teddy enjoyed his party"

Lyra nodded, spinning and slipping her arms around his neck "Thank you for the swing set, I think you Mikaelsons have a spending problem" she grumbled the last part.

Elijah chuckled, kissing the tip of her nose, "We've been around for a long time, we have the money to spend"

Lyra rolled her eyes, stood to her tip toes and kissed him. "Thank you anyways" Elijah silenced her reply with a kiss. Noticing she was done downstairs, he flashed them to the bedroom.
