As the Galaxy King dropped into the skies of Axel, the Hero Alliance went ahead and contacted the Fatebreakers to get the situation of what things were like in the starter town.
"So, how bad is it? Is the whole town being affected, or just some people?" Hope asked.
"Thankfully the whole town wasn't affected. There's not a lot of activity representing that." Ethox said. "We do have some people being affected though."
"What about Kazuma and the girls? They alright at least?" Hope asked.
"Yeah, about that…" Ethox started.
"...They got Kazuma?" Mayumi asked.
"Not just him." Ethox said. "His whole party along with a few friends of theirs."
"Aw, hell… This is gonna be a nightmare…" David said.
"Regardless, we shall help any way we can, young Ethox." Y'shtola said.
"Just tell us where our leading man is." Jexi said.
"Uh…he's not…going to be hard to find." DJ said.
Once the group arrived in Axel and to the mansion Kazuma owned, the Fatebreakers led them inside before opening a closet door where Kazuma was cloistered as he tapped away at a computer.
"Yeesh." Weisz cringed.
"I know. We don't even know where he got that computer, much less how he's powering it in there." Ethox explained. "If a Yo-kai really is behind this, do you think you can convince them to leave Kazuma alone?"
"Maybe, but considering his behavior…there's only one Yo-kai it could be." Sunset said, shining the light to show a small bat Yo-kai tapping away at its own console.

"That…is Hidabat. He's a Yo-kai that makes anyone he inspirits a shut in like himself." Sunset said.
"Well, Kazuma was already a shut-in before, so… Match made in heaven, I guess." David said.
"Yeah…you better get used to this cause there is no way he's going to leave this closet." Sunset said.
"Is there any way we can convince Hidabat to leave him? You knew him best, Sunset." Ethox said.
"Yeah and I also know he's as much a shut in as Kazuma, maybe even more." Sunset said.
"All right. I'll just drag him out." Ultra said before stopping as he saw four other figures inside the closet. One was a bird wearing clogs and reading a book. Another was a small humanoid with long green hair munching on a leaf. Another was a living droplet of water and the last was some sort of small ninja.

"Whoa…why are all these guys here?" Ultra asked.
"We met up on an online chat room and agreed to share a closet in this place." Hidabat said.
"Yeah, those online chat rooms tend to be a bit wild." Sachiko said. "Especially Discord, that place is a rabbithole in and of itself."
"Okay but why him?" Ethox asked, pointing to Kazuma.
"Oh. I inspirited him a lot of times. I thought he was gone for good when he left the house until I found him using news leaks online." Hidabat said.
"Wait, so all those times he was shutting himself in his house after his breakdown, that was you?" David asked.
"He has a very nice spacious closet. It was easy to get at with him all so sad. It's hard to find nice spacious closets nowadays." Hidabat said.
"Hmm…how about a deal? If you and your buddies stop inspiriting him and give us your medals as payment, you can move into all of our closets." Sunset said.
"Oh? Wow…that actually sounds like a great deal. Okay." Hidabat said as the five surrendered their medals before releasing Kazuma, who stopped what he was doing and blinked a couple of times.
"Hey, when did I get in here?" Kazuma asked before he saw everyone. "Oh, hey David, what's up?"
"Uh…not much?" David said.
"Well…it's been fun, but I got a big deal on new closets." Hidabat said. "Thank you for housing me all those times." he said with a polite bow to Kazuma.
"Wait, why's this bat talking to me?" Kazuma asked.
"Uh…we'll explain later." Sunset answered.
One explanation later…
"So he was the reason I kept shutting myself away?! All to live in my closet?!" Kazuma said.
"Seems like it." Sunset said.
"And Yo-kai…those things are real? Man…hard to believe I was being bothered by such a clingy bat." Kazuma said.
"Yeah. Guess the second richest Yo-kai in the multiverse has his own picks." Jibanyan said.
"Yeah. He…He's the what?" Kazuma asked.
"Yeah, that bat is rich. Like crazy rich. He may be a shut in, but he owns like hundreds of companies, trades stocks, he's pretty much a billionaire." Sunset said.
"And he did it in my closet?!" Kazuma sputtered. "Son of a bitch! You made me a shut-in, moved into my closet, and got rich behind my back?!"
"To be fair, most normal people can't really see Yo-kai." Hidabat said. 'If you want, I can cut you a check for all the back rent I owe."
"Yeah, you better get on that!" Kazuma confirmed angrily, before he calmed down. "On the plus side, I can rub it in Aqua's face that it wasn't completely my fault that I was a shut-in."
"Uh…there is a slight problem with that plan, Kazuma." Mirror Match stated.
"Yes…the day has finally come. Your wonderful goddess is the object of all your desires!" G. Aqua said as she was surrounded by a large number of people admiring her.
"What the hell?" Kazuma asked as the group was dumbfounded at the scene before them.
"Some Yo-kai's inspirited Aqua to make her popular." Rebecca said. "So even gods can get inspirited…"
"Yeah…and I think I see our culprits." Sunset said, seeing two Yo-kai above her. One resembled an egg with wing with a pink curl of hair and a pistol while the other was more humanoid with two heart shaped shooters for hands.

"Cupistol and Casanuva. Cupistol is pretty self-explanatory, he's like Cupid…whoever he shoots falls in love with the subject. Casanuva goes beyond that and makes anyone he shoots incredibly popular." Hope said.
"Dammit! How come I didn't get those two?! Aqua doesn't deserve all that attention!" Kazuma protested.
"Like you'd know what to do with all that popularity." Mermista said.
"Look, Aqua's the last goddess who should be this popular!" Kazuma said. "How do we get rid of these guys?"
"It's not gonna be easy. We'd need the opposite of their popularity. We'd need…." Sunset said before looking off to see someone who looked like Casanuva but colored blue. "Him." she smiled.

"Casanono…whoever he shoots becomes incredibly unpopular." Sunset said.
"So, if he shoots Aqua, it'll cancel out the inspiriting?" Ethox asked.
"Works for me!" Kazuma said as he ran up to Casanono. "Hey, you!"
"Wait, are you actually talking to me?" Casanono asked. "Finally, a real friend!"
"Yeah, friend, whatever. See that blue-haired goddess over there?" Kazuma pointed his thumb over his shoulder at Aqua. "Shoot her."
"I…beg your pardon?"
"Did I stutter?" Kazuma asked.
"Whatever you say, new best friend. Time for you…to become unpopular!" Casanono said firing as he hit G. Aqua straight on target.
The townspeople's reactions soon halted before they turned to rioting and started chasing the goddess in anger.
"Uh…isn't that a little much?" Ethox asked.
"Yeah…whoever Casanono inspirits is not only unpopular but are disliked by everyone." Sunset said.
"We should probably get her out of there and undo the effects, huh?" Ethox asked.
"...Yeah, we should." Kazuma said before Casanono grabbed him.
"So what should we do first, new best friend?" Casanono asked. "I have so much planned now since someone is finally speaking to me!"
"Yeah…so listen…I don't think we should hang out…at all…" Kazuma said.
"So…you were just using me to get what you wanted?" Casanono asked.
"What, no, never." Kazuma said, pointing at the group. "I was using you to get what they wanted."
"Way to throw us under the bus, Sato…" Sunset said deadpan.
"Why you…wait a minute, Sunset Shimmer? My long lost friend? You were trying to pin her for something she would never do?" Casanono asked. "Hmm…you know…I think I will make things easier for your friend being chased."
"You mean you'll take the heat off her?" Ethox asked.
"Something like that." Casanono said, pointing his blasters at Kazuma.
"...Well crap." Kazuma said as he took off running. "Great seeing you David, gotta go!"
"Oh no, you can't escape me that easy!" Casanono said aiming his blasters right at Kazuma who kept running as he gave chase, throwing his medal for Sunset to catch.
"...So, yeah, Kazumas is being chased by Casanono right now. Sorry we cut your popular streak." DW typed to G. Aqua.
"You jerks! I was the talk of the town, and you just had to ruin it!" G. Aqua pouted.
"It was for the best. We only inspirited you cause we felt pity for a sad and delusional girl like yourself." Casanuva said.
"Wait, you made me popular because you took pity on me?!" G. Aqua said.
"Ouch…" Zephyr said.
"Yeah. I mean….a goddess? Sorry, but most real gods and goddesses in this universe could have easily shaken us off.' Cupistol said.
"You got inspirited on purpose, huh?"
"Hey, in my defense, I didn't even know those two were on me." G. Aqua said. "I was walking through Axel minding my own business as usual while Kazuma was hiding away in the mansion, when suddenly I was showered with praise."
"Yeah, that checks out." Hope said.
"But Aqua, you and Kazuma aren't the only ones in Axel being affected." Ethox said. "You got any clue where Megumin and Darkness are?"
"Well…there's Megumin's little friend." G. Aqua said, pointing out Yunyun who was lying right in the middle of the street.
"Whoa, Yunyun! What happened to you?!" Ethox asked as everyone ran up to her.
"I was on my way to challenge Megumin to another duel…but I can't help but do nothing but lie here all day." she said.
"That can't be right, we already stopped Hidabat from inspiriting around here." Ethox said.
"It's not Hidabat." Sunset said shining the watch down on Yunyun to reveal four different Yo-kai. A katana whose blade just swooped backwards, a man sitting and reclining on a yellow cloud, a small raccoon on an innertube and a squirrel lying on its side.

"Uh…y-you don't have to…" Yunyun said softly. "I…I enjoy having people who want to be around me…"
"(This poor girl needs friends!)" the group, and the four Yo-kai, thought in unison.
"Hey Yunyun, while we've got you here, you seen Megumin around?" Nemo asked.
"Just before I lost all the walk in my legs, I saw her heading for the Guildhall." Yunyun said.
"You…want us to carry you or…" Jexi said.
"I-I don't want to impose!" Yunyun stammered.
"It no problem, rebenok." Moltok stated as he picked her up. "Off we go, comrades!"
Axel's guildhall…
"Who dares to challenge me? I see you gazing at me!" Megumin said ready to attack a wandering adventurer.
"All I did was bump into her!" he said in a panic.
"No one in this guild takes anything seriously! Have more cheer! Be ready…to be your best selves!" she declared.
"Wow, Megumin's fired up. I mean, fired up more than usual." Michiru said.
"Tell me about it." Ethox agreed.
"Hmm…" Sunset said as she shined the light to show three different Yo-kai. One was dressed like a masked wrestler while the other two were lion Yo-kai, one was a deep dark red while the other was gray and white.

"A luchador and two color palette swaps of Blazion?" Penny questioned.
"The luchador is El Gutso. He makes anyone he inspirits challenge anyone in sight to competitions. The lions are Quaken and Siro. Quaken tends to cheer up people while Siro brings out the inspirited's true potential." Sunset said.
"As much fun as this is to see Megumin so fired up… we should probably cool her down before she gets the bright idea to blow up the place." Koenig advised.
"Hmm…I think it's about time you all saw a summon in action." Sunset smiled as she readied her watch. "Come on out, my friend. Calling…Blizzaria! Yo-kai Medal, do your thing!" she said, inserting the medal.

Before the group appeared a vast stage colored pink with spirit like cheerleaders dancing around the summoned Yo-kai.

"I'm on it." Blizzaria said as she blew a freezing wind that froze not only Megumin, but the three Yo-kai and most of the adventurers frozen solid.
"Well….guess that worked out…huh?" Rainbow said.
"She did kinda overdo it a little…" G. Aqua noted.
"We'll apologize to Megumin once we chip her out of the ice." Hope said.
"So c-c-c-c-cold…" Megumin said, shivering even after she was freed from the ice. "You could've done something else without having to turn me into a popsicle."
"Yeah…it was just our first idea after all." Sunset said.
"Anyway, with you, Kazuma and Aqua free, that just leaves Darkness to find out of the main crew," Ethox said.
"I'm sure she's fine. I mean, what kind of Yo-kai would want to give Darkness trouble? If anything, it should be the other way around." Legolia said.
"Do you even have to ask?" Jexi said as they saw the crusader lumbering around town.
"So empty…so hollow…I am pathetic." she muttered as she walked.
"Darkness?" Ultra said, sounding concerned. "What Yo-kai could do this to her, of all people?"
"It's like… something is making her empty." Sunset said as she focused the light and found a large earth like being with a void in its stomach.

"What the heck is that?!" G. Aqua gawked.
"Uh… that's Urnfufilled. He's a living black hole, he sucks up any object in his line of sight like Kirby, and once those objects go inside his mouth, they almost never return." Sunset said.
"Well, how do we get him out of Darkness?" the Ultra Beast Trainer asked.
"Hmm…good question. Not much we can do without being risked pulled into that endless void." Sunset said.
"Hmm…" Ultra pondered before he got an idea, one that caused him to blush. "I…might have an idea…" he said, before clearing his throat. "Uh…hey, Darkness. I don't suppose you'd be interested in letting Xurkitree practice Wrap on you?"
"I want that offer in writing!" Darkness squealed, having dashed straight up to Ultra, having shaken off the inspirting upon hearing those words.
"How…you know…I don't think I wanna know." Jexi said as they saw Urnfulfilled collapse to the ground, and his medal fell from the void.
"Well, at least we got the medal." Klonoa said.
"And that's all of Kazuma's party saved. So, case closed." Ethox said.
"Oh, so you helped Chris then?" Darkness asked.
"Say what now?" Ethox asked.
In another part of town, the thief herself stood at a booth, offering up a number of treasures and taking in used goods.
"Please, take the money and leave the goods. These are meant for someone as lowly as I." Chris said politely with a bow.
"This is weird behavior, even for Chris." Al said.
"Yeah…And I know who is causing it." Sunset said, shining the light as it revealed three Yo-kai. One was a small being made entirely of sand. The other two were old men sitting on clouds with three sacks floating behind them. One wearing red while the other in green.

"As for those two, Ol' Saint Trick is a Yo-kai that offers gifts if you play along with his quiz. And Ol' Fortune is one who carries good gifts inside his sacks such as money, things you want, etc…" Sunset said.
"So now she's a very humble thief who gives money and takes the people's old junk…" Ultra said.
"That's not the way Chris works! How do we get 'em to leave her alone?" Nemo asked.
"Hmm…hard to say…this one could be tricky." Sunset said.
"Maybe we could ask them politely?" Fluttershy suggested.
"Guess we could try." Sunset said as she approached the three. "Hey, guys. Been awhile. Listen…could you please…stop inspiriting this thief?"
"She's a thief? Oh, I guess that makes sense. Sure. We'll stop." Sandmeh said as the three left the thief's side.
"Uh…what was I doing?" Chris asked.
"Oh, thank goodness you're back to normal, Chris." Darkness said.
"Our apologies for inspiriting her. Chris seemed like a very kind person at heart. At first, I myself inspirited her so that she could be more kinder as a thief." Sandmeh said.
"...What?" Chris asked, confused.
"Then we took advantage and decided to pull a Robin Hood. Giving money while taking junk." Ol' Saint Trick added.
"What?!" Chris repeated, shocked.
"We're glad you showed up when you did. We were almost out of money." Ol' Fortune finished.
"What?!" Chris yelled, flabbergasted. "How did you…How could you…?" she muttered to herself, before shaking her head. "Nevermind. Thanks for the help, everyone."
"Don't mention it, Chris." Ethox said. "I guess we kinda owe you one. Tell you what. Anytime you need help, we can help you out with whatever you need."
"Whoa… Gee, Ethox, thanks." Chris said.
"You sure it's okay to give Chris a free favor? She's still a thief, what if she asks us to steal something important?" Michiru asked.
"It's Chris, she wouldn't do that." Ethox replied.
"How strange." Y'shtola said to herself as she saw Chris leave. "The aether around her is constantly shifting, as if she's hiding who she is."
"In any case…I think there's one more place we need to check for Yo-kai." Mirror Match stated.
The Fatebreakers led the Hero Alliance to Wiz's shop, as Ethox walked in. "Hey Wiz, Vanir, have either of you been feeling weird lately-" the Nobody trailed off as he saw the shopkeeper and her assistant with the latter huddled in a corner with a gloomy aura over him.
"Oh…Mr. Ethox. Welcome back." Wiz said.
"Hey Wiz. What's up with Vanir?" Ethox asked.
"Not sure really. He's been like this for awhile." Wiz said.
"Even Wiz and Vanir got hit…? Guess even Demons can…wait, how come you're acting normal?" Hope said.
"Oh…you're talking about those right?" Wiz asked pointing to a small child-like Yo-kai walking around and climbing up fixtures to clean and repair things.

"Arent they just wonderful? I looked it up, and I found out Gnomey are hard-working Yo-kai who help maintain any place they are assigned to." Wiz said. "But that wasn't the case this time."
"No it was not." a voice said as a larger version of the Gnomey emerged, looking like a being ascended to a higher status.

"What's that? You are planning against me?" Vanir said as he fired off dark magic in a panic as the group ducked.
"Talk about an anxiety attack." Sister said.
"It's been like that for a while… whenever I talk to him about what's wrong, he always assumes I'm going to attack and he fires indiscriminately." Wiz said.
"So anxiety and insecurity." Sister said.
"Not quite." Sunset said, shining her watch as she showed a ghostly entity in an explorer's hat and outfit.

"You were right on the mark though, Sister. Nervous Rex is the source of Vanir's anxiety cause he's a Yo-kai that causes it." Hope said.
"What? You're trying to do something to me? Keep back!" Nervous Rex said as he drew out a gun.
"Duck and cover!" Gemini said as everyone dogged as Nervous Rex's gun fired a blast of air.
"He's going to cause a lot of problems. We need to calm him and Vanir down." Sunset said. "And I got just the one. Come on out, my friend! Calling…Peppillon! Yo-kai Medal…do your thing!"

The stage soon appeared, this time showing a classical Japanese area filled with cherry blossoms and dancers in wooden hats.

Peppillon then scattered his scales at the two as Vanir and Nervous Rex calmed down and relaxed.
"Ah…that's much better." Sunset sighed in relief.
It was a little while after that all of those involved with the incidents were gathered at the mansion.
"Well…hope you all learned some…interesting things?" Sunset said nervously.
"We didn't learn anything except Yo-kai cause this city nothing but trouble!" Kazuma said.
"You're only saying that 'cause you're mad that the bat made you more of a shut-in than you already were." G. Aqua said.
"As for the whole causing trouble part, yeah that's kind of their thing. Well… Most of them, anyway." David said.
"David's right. Actually, I had lots of fun being so fired up!" Megumin smiled.
"And I've never been so relaxed in my entire life!" Yunyun agreed. "I…kinda wish they didn't have to go." she admitted.
"Normally, we'd arrange a compromise, but it's dangerous for Yo-kai to be out recently." Moltar said. "We'd rather not make you a target."
"Yeah. We can talk about this stuff later but for now, we need to get going and…" Sunset said as sirens were starting to blare. "Oh, now what?"
"Attention, all abled bodied adventurers and combatants are required at once!" an announcement called out.
They ran outside of the mansion as they saw large armies coming from both sides of the city. One was an army of living cabbage while the other was of living lettuce.
"What's going on here? It's not cabbage harvesting season yet!" G. Aqua exclaimed.
"Rar!" a voice roared from the Cabbage army as they saw a monstrous red cat-like monster leading from the back with a few other cats. "Lay waste to this city. Claim it…for the cat army!" he roared.

"What is that?!" Rebecca asked. "And why does it look like a roided-out version of Jibanyan?"
"That's Rubeus J. A Boss Yo-kai with a pretty sizable reputation. He may look like Jibanyan, but he's nothing like him at all in terms of personality." Hope said.
"Then who is…" Sunset said.
"Awooo! Your cat and cabbage army means nothing to my lettuce and dog army. The human city is ours!" roared a large white dog.

"And that's an evil version of Komasan?" Klonoa asked.
"Hardy Hound." Sunset said. "Looks like these two are fighting over territory."
"This conflict is kind of making some of us question where our lives are going at this point." Mayumi said.
"And now you know how I feel living here every day," Kazuma replied.
"Still, we can't just let these two go at it with the town in the middle," X said.
"We should split up and face the two of them down equally." Mirror Match said. "While the rest of you in the alliance take one opponent, we in the Fatebreakers will take the other."
"Gotcha. We'll take Hardy Hound, you guys take Rubeus J." David said.
"Gotcha. Let's go, team. We got two colossi to bring to their knees." Ethox said.
(Cue- Dog of the North Star- Yo-kai Watch Blasters)
The Hero Alliance headed off to the right, while the Fatebreakers split to the left, each of them heading straight towards the Boss Yo-kai of each side. It wasn't long before the group met up with Hardy Hound.
"So…you people come to interfere with my conquest of this human city?" Hardy Hound asked as he munched on a large ice cream cone.
"Leave right now and I promise the beating you'll get will be minimal." Ranma said.
"Ha! Sorry, but I have subordinates of my own." Hardy Hound said as five different figures appeared. Two dogs with two heads each. Two komainu Yo-kai of different colors and a lone lion with three tails and a sword.

"Not all of them. Lie-in Heart's the outlier because he's a lion. Yet he seems so calm about all this." Titanica said.
"It is because…now is not the time to act." Lie-in Heart said.
"Eh?"
"He's…extremely patient." Sunset said.
"Well, whatever the case. We'll have you and your companions rolling over in no time, Spot." Simon said.
"Spot…the most disrespectful thing a dog can be called. Rip them apart and bury their bones where not even we will find them!" Hardy Hound called out as four out of the five moved and attacked.
"We can leave Lie-in Heart alone, he won't move until he thinks it's the right time." Hope said.
"The time is now!" Lie-in Heart said as he quickly cut down Hope.
"Ow… Why me?" Hope asked.
Lie-in Heart then sat back down and sheathed his blade as he waited for his next moment.
"Okay…that was pretty bad timing but you guys get the point." Hope said.
"Yeah, I think we do now." David said. "The other four however…" he said as the other four dog Yo-kai were quickly defeated.
"So…you can even best my generals. Fine…suppose I must join in." Hardy Hound said, rising up as he howled.
Prelude to Shadowside Komasan - Hardy Hound
"Get a taste…of my explosive power!" Hardy Hound said as he was hurling bombs at the group. "Oh my swirls, that was good!"
"Eat this!" Klonoa said, equipping a pair of cannons to his arms as he fired a big spiked ball at Hardy Hound, ignoring his defense.
"Hehehe…not bad, fellow dog." Hardy Hound said as he crushed the ball with his bare claws.
"I think you're gonna need something heavier, Klonoa." ZS said as he looked at the skulls Hardy Hound was throwing. "Maybe something like that! You got anything you can use like a bat?"
"I have a hammer." Klonoa said, pulling out said weapon.
"Cool! I'll serve, you swing." ZS said as he hopped on his skateboard and raced up in front. "Hey! Think you can pass one of those bombs over here, Spot?"
Hardy Hound growled as he threw one of the bombs at the undead.
"Thanks!" ZS said as he jumped up, flipped his board up to catch it with his hands, then used said board to smack the bomb out of the air and towards Klonoa. "Pro tip: anything you hit twice hits twice as hard!"
"Batter up!" Klonoa said, swinging his hammer as it made contact with the bomb, sending it flying at Hardy Hound as it exploded on impact. "Wahoo!"
"Now…my strongest move!" Hardy Hound said as he jumped at them with bombs on his fists. "Exploding Strike!"
"Okay, was not expecting that!" ZS remarked. "Still, the perfect time to try something out!" he said as he leapt up and mounted his board, spinning around. "Corkscrew Driller!" he declared as he met Hardy Hound's charge head on, only to be thrown back by the resulting explosion, landing on the ground behind the rest of the group. "Okay…gonna have to tag someone else in for the final blow. Still need to work on that move…Related note: Ooowww…"
"No worries…I got you covered." Sunset said, collecting medals from the defeated. "As a matter of fact…we'll let a true legend take over."
"Wait…you mean…" ZS said.
"Let's summon…a legendary!" Sunset said as the medallium glowed as a new medal appeared. Appearing right before the group was a white komainu with red flames.
"Komashura!" he said.

"Shura Shower!" Komashura called out, bathing Hardy Hound and Lie-in Heart in flames before the two collapsed.
"Dog army…over and done with." Hope said.
On the other side, the Fatebreakers were on to confront Rubeus J.
"So…you want me to stop my army? Pass. This city will be my new kingdom." Rubeus J said.
"Well too bad, you gotta leave…right…now." Kazuma said.
"Hmm. Come to me…my cat army!" Rubeus J declared.
They soon saw a vast army approach them. However, they weren't what the group was expecting. One was five different cat Yo-kai who resembled jewels.

"Hahaha! Tremble at their might!" Rubeus J said.
"It's a Cat-tastrophe!" Neumann exclaimed.
"Really?" Grantz asked deadpan.
"There sure are a lot of cats here." Tida said. "Are we really going to have to fight all of them?"
"Wait, I think I have an idea." Kazuma said, rummaging through his pockets. "I think I ordered these on a whim when I was inspiritied…ah-ha!" he exclaimed in victory as he pulled out several wrapped bars of chocolate. "Who wants Chocobars?!" the adventure asked as he threw them on the ground in front of the cats.
"Meow!" they all said as they started munching away on the Chocobars, the Fatebreakers moving past them to get to Rubeus J.
"Okay…maybe they aren't bright…but I'll enjoy tearing you all to shreds." Rubeus J said as he stood tall and gave a fierce battle roar.
Prelude to Shadowside Jibanyan - Rubeus J
"Hahahahah!" Rubeus J laughed as he started rapidly throwing punches and ripping apart the earth itself.
"Whoa, bad kitty, bad kitty!" Nemo said as the group avoided the reneded earth and punches.
"He's gonna kill us all! Why did we decide to take the cat?!" Kazuma said.
"Search me! All we can do is our best!" Ethox decided, charging the Boss Yo-kai, jumping over a punch, then clashing with Rubeus J's fist in midair.
"Seems you have more backbone than these spineless wimps." Rubeus J said.
"Hey, my first living moments were spent fighting a powerful Heartless. I'm used to it!" Ethox said as he summoned his Keyblade, letting Rubeus J's fist make contact as he grabbed it. Managing to swing himself up, he resummoned his Keyblade to slash across the Boss Yo-kai's face.
"Okay…you asked for it." Rubeus J said as he gathered a massive ball of power. "Say goodbye to your lives! Infernal Grudge Ball!" he said hurling it right at the Fatebreakers.
"Haaa…!" Ethox called out as he clashed with the incoming ball with his keyblade before managing to slice it in half. "One last strike!" he said as he dashed towards the Boss Yo-kai, slashing down the middle.
"Gah!" Rubeus J said as he collapsed to the ground.
"We did it!" Ethox cheered.
The two groups reconvened, each with numerous medals, including the medals of the two Boss Yo-kai.
"So yeah, just stock up on Chocobars and you should be just fine." Kazuma said to Sunset, handing over the cat Yo-kai medals.
"Thanks. Wasn't expecting the Jewelnyans or the Fruitnyans to be here." Sunset said. "You guys sure you don't wanna join us for saving the Yo-kai?"
"Nah, I think you guys got it handled." Ethox said, before he looked concerned. "But…are you doing okay? You seem…I don't know, hurt really bad on the inside? Did something happen?"
Sunset flinched at the Nobody's statement, blinking a couple of times. "It's…It's nothing, just…we just heard that an old friend died recently." she said quickly.
"Really? Damn, that sucks." Kazuma said in genuine sympathy. "I understand how you feel. You gonna hold a funeral for him?"
"That's…that's not a bad idea." Sunset admitted. "We'll look into it once we're done getting the Yo-kai back."
"Make sure to invite us to that. We'll be there." Ethox promised.
"Yeah, gotcha." Sunset nodded. "Well, we better get going." she said, as the Hero Alliance started walking back to their ship.
"Hey, Shimmer." Kazuma spoke up, Sunset stopping and looking back at him. "...I'm not gonna ask how it happened, but…I can tell what you're really traumatized about. If you need someone to talk to…well, I'm not the best option, but I'm willing to hear you out. One resurrected person to another."
"I'll keep that in mind." Sunset smiled.
As the group left, Ethox then looked to Ultra.
"We saw you blushing when you gave that request to Darkness to snap her out of it." Ethox mentioned.
"What?! Er… I don't know what you're implying, but-!" Ultra started.
"Oh stop hiding it, I see the way you look at her sometimes in the guildhall." Rista interrupted the trainer.
"...S***." Ultra said. "Please don't tell her. I'm not gonna be able to look her in the eye if she finds out."
"Ah-hah! You DO have a crush on her!" G. Aqua exclaimed.
"Aqua, I will set pour your bubbly on your head and set it on fire, I swear to f***-!"
Back with the Hero Alliance…
"We did great in Axel guys. We got a ton of Yo-kai, and we acquired another legendary." Adora said.
"That we did. We never would have been able to complete Komashura's page without those dogs. As of now, we've passed the 100 medal checkpoint." Sunset said. "We've still got some work left to do though."
"Some? Try a lot." Emo said. "We got thousands left to find, and we still got an evil alliance to take down. How's about we get to our next stop, pronto?"
A phone soon started ringing.
"Okay, can someone please…oh, that's mine isn't it?" Hope said as he found his phone. "Hello?"
"Uh…hey Hope. It's Benny." a voice said. "I know you're in the middle of some grand adventure but…think you could spare some time for your youngest brother?"
"Of course. Whatever it is, just name it." Hope promised.
"Great. Hey, just curious, where exactly are you right now?" Benny asked.
"Just leaving Axel in the Adventure Universe. Why?" Hope asked.
"Adventure Universe…ah, perfect. A door happens to show up on a world next door to that one. You can use that to enter the restaurant." Benny said.
"Wait, you want me to go to the All the World's Restaurant?" Hope asked.
"I know it's sudden…but…we may be dealing with a bit of a…Yo-kai infestation." Benny said.
"Gotcha. Just do whatever you gotta do, we'll be right over. See you soon!" Hope said as he ended the call.
"Who was that?" Lei asked.
"My brother, Benny. He's a chef at All The Worlds Restaurant. And he just told me the place has a bit of an infestation problem." Hope said.
"Yo-kai?" Ichiro said.
"Yup. But seeing as how All The Worlds Restaurant is really popular, we won't be able to interact with the Yo-kai without attracting attention. Customers might think we're crazy…" Hope said before getting an idea. "Light Bulb."
"Watcha thinkin', Hope?" Rainbow asked.
"I just figured out the perfect way to get to all those yokai," Hope said. "Who's up for applying for a part-time job?"
"Well, we'd need someone who's good at cooking…" Mark mused, before everyone turned towards Shirou, Archer, Teruteru, and Sanji.
"Lemme guess. You want the four o' us to infiltrate Benny Boys restaurant as new chefs, and if Yo-kai are inspiriting any of the customers, we need to make some dishes that'll knock them and the yo-kai's socks off?" Teruteru asked.
"About the size of it. Of course, we'll be helping out too." Hope said.
"By working as servers." Jexi said.
"And I'm sure once Benny is informed of our plan, he'll want to help out too." Hope said.
"You're sure this idea of yours will work?" Ragna asked.
"Definitely. No matter who you are, if there's one thing that pleases people, living or dead… its good food." Hope said.
