Miriam was currently in the Galaxy King's Kitchen, finishing baking something before setting it on the table, a sweet aroma emanating from it.
"Hey Miriam, what're you making?" Eddy asked as he walked into the kitchen.
"Oh, hello Eddy. I was making something with one of the recipes I have. A Strawberry Pie." Miriam said.
"Oh, sounds tasty." Eddy said. "Though…you might wanna eat that quick."
"Why would that be?"
"Because I think Luffy was behind me when the smell hit." Eddy explained.
The two turned back to the table to see the pie gone.
"Oh, I don't mind at all if someone else eats it. I have plenty of ingredients for other dishes I could make for anyone who wants something." Miriam said.
"Is that so?" Eddy asked, before a lightbulb went over his head. "Hey, I got an idea! Why don't you volunteer for the kitchen team? Shirou, Teruteru, Sanji, and Kirumi are all teaming up. Haven't got a member for Spirit Force or Darksquad yet."
"O-Of course, I would be glad to help." Miriam said.
"Cool, let's go tell the others. Hope's giving 'em a briefing and rules." Eddy said. "He really doesn't want our usual chaos messing up his brother's job…" he remarked.
The two soon joined the others as Hope explained the plan, seeing that Darksquad's representative was Ragna.
"I didn't know you were a cook, Ragna." Hope said.
"I'm actually good with meat dishes, my specialty though is a whole roast." Ragna said. "I still gotta eat after all."
Teruteru then looked to see Eddy and Miriam had joined them. "Well, whaddya know? Eddy and Miriam? That's quite the unusual combo."
"Found her in the kitchen, turns out she's a pretty good cook." Eddy said. "Figured she'd fit in with the Kitchen staff, I'm just dropping her off."
"It is true, I am good at making a variety of dishes and drinks due to the recipes I found in the castle I ventured through with Al back on my world." Miriam said. "I hope to be of great help to you all." she said, bowing a bit.
"Sure, the more the merrier. Having cooks from all the groups is a good idea." Hope said. "On that note, thanks for volunteering yourself, Kirumi."
"Well, if Teruteru was going to do this as part of his Danganronpa class, I see no reason I shouldn't do my part as a member of mine," Kirumi said.
"Plus, Kirumi is the best chef in our group overall. Everyone else is too specialized." David said.
"You seem determined to pull this off, Hope, if you don't mind me saying," Ragna said.
"Yeah. I know I'm not known for the best plans and ideas that go off without a hitch, but I can't just leave my brother in a tight spot. I wanna do all I can for him." Hope said.
"It is good he has a brother like you to watch out for him." Miriam said.
"Nice of you to say Miriam…even though I wasn't the best brother at one point. I ran away from home, a mafia family of all things, to be doing this." Hope said. "But Jack said it himself at one point. If I didn't run away, my other siblings wouldn't be where they are right now."
"Alright, so basically just act natural, and hope that the restaurant isn't on fire by the time we're done." Shirou summed up.
"Uh…wouldn't say that but it's pretty close." Hope said. "All right. Let's arrive!" he said as they touched down in an empty field in the Adventure Universe.
"What? I thought we were going to some restaurant. Not some…" Catra said before seeing a door sitting there.
"The place exists in an alternate dimension. Doors like this pop up everywhere and lead right to it." Sheer said.
"Yeah, that's what led us to everyone, too." Teepo said.
"We owe a big debt to this place for all it did for us." Elize said.
"Well…in we go." Hope said as he opened the door several diners were dining the same as usual. "Whoa…I know we've been here before but it's still kinda overwhelming when you open that door."
"And here is your order." they heard a voice as Benny delivered a couple of dishes to the table before seeing the group. "Oh thank god, you're here."
"Yep. We came as soon as we could." Hope said. "So just point us to the kitchen and…
"Kitchen? What are you talking about?" Benny asked. "Why would you…Wait…what…exactly did you have planned?"
"You know, cook up dishes for the customers and force the Yo-kai out," Hope said.
"Uh….huh…." Benny said. "Can I see you in private for a minute?" he said as he dragged Hope off.
"Benny, what's wrong?" Hope asked. "You know I'm only trying to help you out."
"I know that but you can't just go adding to our kitchen's staff on a whim. It messes up the entire flow. Plus, Lady Olivia only approves of new hires that she oversees." Benny said. "I'm not blaming you, but I wish you could have told me this beforehand."
"I know, I'm sorry Benny." Hope said. "Do you… think I should call my plan off?"
"Hmm….keep everyone around as waitstaff for now. She won't notice a few missing uniforms." Benny said. "Just don't have them do any of the work. Only go after the Yo-kai."
"Got it. So what exactly are we looking for?" Hope said.
"Anything strange? Don't ask for specifics. Honestly, there's too many strange things going on to count." Benny said.
"You got it." Hope said as he headed off. "Oh, and uh…thanks. Y'know, for coming to me with this problem. It's the first time you've asked me for help with anything since... Well…"
"Don't dwell on that. Its in the past." Benny said. "Now please, just go and do what you are meant to."
The Hero Alliance quickly adjusted to the change of plans and donned waitstaff uniforms so they could patrol the restaurant for any Yo-kai in the restaurant.
"Remember, don't do any of the work. Soon as you spot a customer doing something out of the ordinary, check to confirm if its a Yo-kai and find a way to make it stop causing trouble." Hope said.
"Yeah….but it's so confusing." Leanne said tilting her head.
"What? That was really simp…wait…." Hope said before looking past her to see a small walking corncob with a dazed look.
"I'm so cornfused." they both said.
Cornfused

"Whoa, not a minute into this and we got a live one already!" Eddy whispered.
"I remember this guy. Cornfused. You can pretty much guess what he does by his name." Gemini said. "Caused us trouble in our theater."
"Letting him wander around will cause a lot of confusion in the customers. We'd better snatch him up right away before any others in here get scatterbrained like popcorn on a coverless hot stove." Teruteru said.
"All right…I know how to deal with this guy." Sunset said as she approached him. "Leave Leanne alone." she said.
"Hmm….okay." Cornfused said, walking away from Leanne and freeing her.
"Whoa, it was that easy? Why didn't he get confused by what you said?" Makoto asked.
"Cause it was very simple and I know him." Sunset said as she collected his medal. "Honestly, he'll probably be one of our easiest catches."
"She's right. There's a good chance whoever else is in this restaurant won't be as easy to persuade." Ichiro said.
"Let's fan out and examine how the customers act. We'll be able to spot any Yo-kai activity much quicker that way." Pearl suggested.
The group did just that, going in different directions and examining the behavior of not only the patrons but the restaurant staff too, just in case.
In a section of visitors from the Magical Girl Universe, Ruby, Pearl and Glimmer saw one lady waiting with a peeved waiter.
"Ma'am…could you please…" he said.
"I need a minute. I'm not sure I want what I asked for a little while ago," she said.
"I heard from the other waiters that woman would order one thing, but then immediately stop and rethink her decision." Glimmer said. "Let's see…."
Shining a Yo-kai light, she spotted something. A small lemon with a straw in its head in a polka dot dress.

"Ka-ching." Ruby said.
"Hmm… let's see here..a-ha!" Pearl said, checking the Yo-kai info. "That's Zest-a-Minute. She makes people indecisive. It's going to be difficult to reason with a Yo-kai like that."
"Anyone got an idea of how we could convince her without things going sour?" Glimmer asked.
"Wait, she keeps turning to the nearby table." Ruby said seeing the Yo-kai turning her head before turning back. "What is she…" she said before seeing a large walking sundae with a mustache.
Lazy Sundae

"Let's see…that one is Lazy Sundae. He's the reason dads don't normally do much of anything on Sundays." Glimmer said.
The three of them noticed that Zest-a-Minute, after turning her head towards Lazy Sundae, would always blush slightly before turning back being indecisive about going towards him.
"Oh, I get it. Zest-A-Minute has a crush on Lazy Sundae." Glimmer said.
"Ice Cream and Lemonade?" Ruby asked. "Oh my gosh, they'd make frosted lemonade."
Glimmer then got an idea. "I know! Why don't we find some way to bring the two together?"
"Excellent idea, Glimmer! The only question is how though… Benny told us only to observe, we can't wait tables, serve food, or interact with the customers." Pearl pointed out.
"But…the Yo-kai technically aren't customers." Glimmer said. "So they wouldn't count."
"Plus…there's an empty table right over there." Ruby said, pointing out said table.
"Ruby, you get Lazy Sundae over to it. I've got Zest-A-Minute." Glimmer said. "Pearl. Think you can make a romantic setting at that table?"
"Can I? Definitely." Pearl nodded. "Give me one minute."
Ruby and Glimmer then split up to get the two's attention. Glimmer went up to Zest-A-Minute, still sitting next to her inspirited customer.
"Excuse me, Ms. Minute? We just received word that Lazy Sundae just ordered a table for two. You're on the list." Glimmer said.
"Okay…but then again…" she said before being pushed into a chair and pushed over to the table as Ruby finished getting Lazy Sundae over there. "Eeep…" she said as her head started fizzing with embarrassment and affection.
"Well, the Sentient Sundae and Living Lemonade are together. I think we can just leave them be." Glimmer said.
"We'll have to make sure we can get their medals later on." Pearl said.
In another part of the restaurant…
"Oh my god!" one customer cried out when his meal was delivered.
"Is…something wrong?" the waiter asked.
"My meal just arrived with no bad things in it! Yes!" he cheered.
"Uh…thanks?" the waiter said.
"Okay, that's a little too much enthusiasm for just getting your meal delivered." Catra said.
"Let's see what we have here." Dhar said, shining the light as they saw a large burger looking surprised.
"Oh my god! I've been spotted!" he said.
Oh Bah Gah!

"A Burger?" Catra said.
"No, Oh-Bah-Gah. He makes whoever he inspirts overreact to everything, making them center stage for something shocking." Pit said.
"I can think of a few people this guy would get along with." Emo said. "Hey Burger King, enough inspiriting. Sunset wants you back."
"Oh my god!" Oh Bah Gah called out. "She does?!"
"That's what Emo said. You gonna keep her waiting?" Catra asked.
"Okay. Safer with her than with the monster." the burger Yo-kai said, handing over his medal.
"Monster? Do you mean anyone in the Yo-Kai Alliance?" Dhar asked.
"No…this one is a terror to all of us Food Yo-kai." Oh Bah Gah said. "By the time you notice them, it's already too late for you."
"It's Luffy and/or Goku, isn't it?" Emo asked.
"No, but those two are just as equally terrifying." Oh Bah Gah said. "Wait, they aren't here are they?"
"Oh…uh…" Dhar said.
"Oh my god! They are!" he said as he ran off and out.
"Huh. I wonder who he was actually referring to?" Catra wondered. "Not gonna lie though, looking at him for that long kinda has me craving a burger myself now, anyone else think that?"
"I thought I was the only one," Dhar said.
"Shall we go after our new friend, then?" Emo asked sarcastically. "For Pete's sake, get a grip you two."
"Do I look like the kinda carnivore that wants to eat a living Burger?" Catra said. "Besides, if I ate him, I'd just be overreacting to all sorts of stuff for weeks while I digested him."
"Whatever. Let's just move on." Emo said.
"Hmm…these waiters all leaving me be. I don't want them bugging me anyway." one customer said, pouting a bit.
"What's with them?" Jesse asked.
"I think I might know." Nami said, the light shining to show a small Yo-kai with a head made of pancakes.

"A Yo-kai made of pancakes?" Shantae asked.
"Hmm…ah-ha!" Double D found the info on the Yo-kai. "This is Petty-Cake. Anyone she inspirits becomes annoyed if they are ignored, somewhat like the tsundere archetype."
"Kinda reminds me of Bolo." Shantae said.
"Hmm…I don't care that these guys are ignoring me." Petty-Cake uttered as she turned her head.
"Yeah, good for you." Hapi said.
"I know you're just pretending not to care." Petty-Cake said.
"Whatever you want to believe." Hapi said.
"Mmm…if you just wanna be my friend, just go ahead and say it." Petty-Cake said. "Not like I care."
"Sure." Nami said as they quickly went and took her medal. "Who knew reverse psychology could work so well on someone so petty."
"It works in strange ways, Thunderange." Hapi said.
"From personal experience with the subject, I must concur with Hapi's statement." Double D nodded. "Of course, our attempt before ended up…backfiring in a cataclysmic way. Ah…but don't bring that up to Eddy, he's still rather sore on that day."
"Hey, this takoyaki is empty!" one customer complained as did another.
"Where the hell is the octopus?"
"Who wants to eat just dough?"
"What the? How does octopus in Takoyaki just disappear?" Goku asked.
"Well…I may have an idea about that." Yumi said, shining the light to a strange creature with octopus legs and a yellow head.

With him were two others, who seemed to be arguing with the former. A round takoyaki with arms, legs and a stick and the other was a larger piece of it with multiple legs and a flaming ring above his head.

Slippery Tribe
"So what's the story behind them?" Leilani asked.
"Well, it says here that Bitter Batter was supposed to be made into takoyaki, but the chopped octopus bits were never used." Genis read off the Yo-kai info. "Meanwhile, Takoyakid and Takoyaking are pieces of takoyaki, with the latter being an "advocate for takoyaki culture". They're Local Yo-kai from the Kansai region."
"How dare you ruin perfectly good takoyaki, you savage!" Takoyaking yelled at Bitter Batter. "Put those bits back where you found them, this instant!
"No! This is what humans deserve! If I can't be made into takoyaki to be enjoyed, then nobody in this restaurant gets to enjoy it!" Bitter Batter yelled back.
"We have to help somehow." Leilani said.
"You're the expert chef in Ajna's posse, how would you fix this?" Hitomi asked.
"I'd promise to put actual octopus bits into takoyaki whenever I'd make it. Even though I have no idea how." Leilani said.
This got Takoyaking''s attention. "Deplorable! An aspiring cook who has no idea how takoyaki is made! You are a disgrace to all things takoyaki!" Takoyaking declared.
"Hey, just because Leilani doesn't know to make takoyaki yet, doesn't mean she can't do it once she figures it out!" Peni said.
"Yeah, she's a great cook!" Goku said.
"Ah, we apologize." Takoyakid stated. "We're just a little upset because this philistine," the Local Yo-kai said, pointing his toothpick at Bitter Batter. "Keeps messing up the takoyaki!"
"I told you, I won't let a single person in this restaurant eat any takoyaki!" Bitter Batter said. "I bet that Island Girl doesn't even know how to fry up a good portion!"
"Well, I don't know how to make Takoyaki yet…but I can do something about it." Leilani said.
"Uh, Leilani? Pretty sure Benny said no cooking." Peni said.
"He said no cooking for the customers. But he didn't say anything about cooking for the Yo-kai." Leilani said. "We can head back to the Galaxy King's kitchen and-"
"Wait, did you say the Galaxy King?" Bitter Batter asked. "Wait…aren't you guys with Sunset Shimmer?"
"That's right. If you call off this stupid argument, we can do something about it after we're done here. Takoyakid and King can show Leilani how to make Takoyaki, and then she'll serve you a helping of it that'll knock your tentacles off." Hitomi said.
"Hmm…most other Yo-kai tend to laugh off how I came to be…but Sunset didn't." Bitter Batter said, before nodding. "You've got yourselves a deal, just as long as it's darn good takoyaki."
"We'll see to it that Leilani here learns all we know." Takoyaking said as the three Yo-kai presented the group with their medals.
"Much appreciated." Leilani said.
"That'll get any takoyaki orders back on track." Peni said.
"Hey, what's wrong with you?" one customer said as another snitched the empty takoyaki off their plate.
"It's just a bite…" they said.
"Did that guy just take that hollowed out takoyaki?" Hitomi said.
"Of course, why didn't we think of this before?" Yumi said, as she shined a light near the smithing customer. "Wherever there's food, he's not too far behind." revealed through the light was a small child like yokai with brown skin, green hair and wore a beige kimono with a straw skirt.

"A Yo-kai that makes people take other people's food…" Hitomi said.
"So there's more than just Food Yo-kai here." Yumi said.
"Hey! You shouldn't steal people's food!" Goku spoke up to the Yo-kai.
"I'm not stealing, I'm just snitching a tiny little bite." Grubsnitch said as he took another ball of takoyaki and ate it up.
"That's basically the same thing." Genis said.
"I don't know what you mean." Grubsnitch said as he took another empty takoyaki. "I'm just taking a…" he said as he absentmindedly bit down…on nothing. "Huh? Where'd it go?"
"Mmm, weird takoyaki!" the group heard Luffy say as they saw the Straw Hat holding the empty octopus ball.
"Hey, that was mine! You can't just…steal it from…other…" Grubsnitch trailed off. "...Okay, maybe you have a point."
"Now you know how most other people feel." Peni said. "But don't worry. We're with Sunset, and she can give you all the food you want."
"Though…if you're here then….Oh…I think we need to hurry with our Food Yo-kai rescue operation…" Yumi realized.
"Why's that?" Peni asked.
"Better to not ask questions." Yumi said.
"...Are they strong?" Goku asked.
"No questions!"
"He is a menace! Go and protect your king!" declared a large steak with a crown.

"We gotta protect those Yo-kai from him before he gobbles 'em up!" Peacock said.
"Good idea. Steaking needs the support, and he can't rely on Chicken Chukket since he passes everything off. And Salty Bacon is just going to stand there sizzling in anger." Chopper said.
"We just need somethin' tha'll get him away from those three…" Peacock said. "Too bad there's no way of making a meal from all three of them that's more enticing."
"Steak..bacon…chicken nuggets…so tasty…" he said drooling as he inched closer.
"Chopper, you see anything that'll get his attention more than those three?" Peacock asked.
"I don't think so… but don't even think about putting me on the menu!" Chopper said sharply.
"Relax, raw venison tastes awful anyway." SE said.
"Mmm? Did someone say…venison?" Supersize Gramps said, turning to Chopper as an evil look was in his eyes.
"Ahhh!" Chopper screamed.
"Now you've done it…" Genis said with a sigh.
"I said it tastes terrible! Ah, screw it. Red Light." SE announced, his eyes turning red as Supersize Gramps stopped in place.
"Perfect, SE! Hold 'em right there!" Peacock said, now with a tray card of bacon, steak and chicken nuggets that she pulled from nowhere. "Open wide, Big Gramps!" she called, rapidly throwing food into his mouth. "Now, get outta there!" she called to Steaking, Chicken Chukket and Salty Bacon.
"My thanks, fair maiden!" Steaking said, giving her his medal as he got out of Supersize Gramps's way.
"We owe ya!" Chicken Chukket said as he and Salty Bacon handed over their medals as all three fled.
"Great idea, Peacock! But uh.. Where'd you get all that food?" Chopper siad.
"Plucked it offa the Galaxy King. Don't ask me how, logic goes out the window with me." Peacock said.
"You know some of the cooks are gonna be mad when they find out." Chopper said.
"Would y'rather the big blowhard ate you instead?" Peacock reminded the reindeer.
"...Point taken. It's for a good cause." Chopper said.

Both seemed too chill to respond.

"So…tasty." Hungorge said.
"Back away from the Yo-kai!" a voice rang out as Izuku went and slammed down on Hungorge's head.
"Argh! Ou ade e ite my tongue!" Hungorge babbled out.
"You're the one who has it constantly sticking out." Izuku said.
"Are you gonna calm down now?" Rebecca asked. "I don't think Sunset would appreciate you trying to do something like this to your fellow Yo-kai."
"Hmm…." Hungorge pondered as he went and swallowed up the nearby fridge.
"And he's not listening, which was kinda expected." Izuku said.
"Yup." Rebecca deadpanned.
"Least we bought time for those food Yo-kai to escape." Izuku said, showing the medals from the escaped food Yo-kai.
"Yeah, hope the others are having more luck with other Yo-kai than we are with this one." Rebecca said, referring to Hungorge.
"We can handle it." Izuku said as the two engaged the hungry Yo-kai.

"'How' is the big question." Mark stated. "I mean, is there anything he thinks of besides food?"
"Well…I have an idea that might work." Sunset said as she was brewing up some tea.
"Sunset, I don't think offering refreshments to go with the meal is much help." Mark said.
"Just let her brew. We know where this is going." Jibanyan said.
Sunset finished brewing the tea as she brought a cup to Hungramps.
"Oh, is that you, Sunset?" Hungramps asked. "It's been a long time."
"Sure has. Tea?" she offered as the old man took it and sat besides her, giving the Food Yo-kai a chance to escape.
"I really do enjoy seeing you. You always remind me of my grandaughter." Hungramps said. "I still owe you and your friends for that time before."
"It was no trouble, honestly." Sunset said.
"I really have missed spending time with you. I hope we can still connect." Hungramps said, offering up his medal.

"And that should be all the Yo-kai in the restaurant. I'll let Benny know we're done." Hope said.
A little while later, the group finished up gathering the Yo-kai as they were heading out.
"Thanks again for this, brother. You saved my hide with this." Benny said.
"It's no trouble at all, honestly." Hope said. "Just glad to be of help."
"Yes indeed. Come back anytime." Benny said.
As the group exited the door back to where the Galaxy King was, a small comet was seen falling from the sky before crashing into the ship.
"What was that?!" Hiyoko asked as they rushed to the sight of the crater and to many, they saw a shocking sight… a blue and grey plated robotic version of Jibanyan was laying there, heavily damaged.
"Oh my… Robonyan?!" Hope asked.

"Let's get him to the repair bay." Sister said as she picked him up.
In the repair bay, the robotic cat was busy being worked on.
"So…anyone wanna tell us who this guy is?" Bow asked.
"He's Robonyan. In short, he's like Jibanyan from the future." Jexi said.
"Whoa, so Yo-kai become robots in the future?" Klonoa asked.
"Least we know he did." Franky said.
"Still, what could've done this much damage to him?" Homura asked.
"We won't know until he wakes up. But…why is he back in his base form?" Sunset said. "He was upgraded last time I checked."
Sunset was right, as Robonyan was in the mode from when they first met him, not Robonyan F.
However, it would not take long to get answers.
"Auto repair function complete!" Robonyan uttered as he started to float using his jetpack.
"Whoa, welcome back!" Steven said. "You're Robonyan, right?"
"Yes. Greetings, people, Yo-kai and robots of the past." Robonyan said.
"We're…ugh, forget it." Leviathan said.
"What happened to you? Why did you crash into our ship?" Jexi asked.
"Yes…this was a result of a fierce battle. Against the evil that is the Yo-kai Alliance." Robonyan said.
"Wait, you fought the Yo-kai Alliance?!" Kieran exclaimed.
"Indeed. Many future Yo-kai came together to storm their base of operations and put an end to their plans. However, we were defeated. I was among the few who managed to escape, and even I was stripped of all my upgrades in the process." Robonyan said.
"Can't you just get them back?" Connie asked.
"Unfortunately, even with the existence of the Future Universe, the upgrades needed will not exist for a very long time from now." Robonyan said.
"Wait, what if we traveled to a past event?" Roy asked.
"You silly boy! You are suggesting altering history at a catastrophic level! Such efforts will…." Robonyan began before his head shook a bit before letting out smoke. "Alternative: traveling to an alternative timeline to get upgrade. Most likely choice…Haltmann Company takeover of Dreamland."
"Did you say Dreamland? Oh, I didn't think we'd go back there again." Sectonia said.
"Ironically, it wasn't all that much later after we defeated you." Sunset said.
"That was when we defeated Daemon as well." Roy said.
"Indeed. It is the most logical solution!" Robonyan said.
"So, another redux, huh?" Sonic remarked. "Hopefully we won't run into Metal Sonic or that dumb demon lord."
"Not to worry. Neither will be appearing in this place we will be going to." Robonyan said.
"Speaking of which, it wasn't long after Sectonia was defeated, right? So… Is it possible that they might be able to clone her this time?" Tsumugi asked.
"Provided that they are able to find some remains of the Dreamstalk when I was killed… Then yes, it could be possible." Sectonia said.
"We'll cross that bridge when we come to it." Mark said. "For now, let's start by actually getting to Dreamland in the past."
"And who knows? If we're lucky, we may run into some more Robot Yo-kai while were there." Kazuichi said.
"Uh, I think Robonyan's the only Robot Yokai we know, Soda." Dan stated.
"Incorrect." Robonyan said. "There are many Yo-kai in the future that have chosen to become robotic. Many of them joined in the attack on the Yo-kai Alliance, and were defeated, as previously mentioned. A number of them had fled to the past to gather allies and likely regrouped within the same place we will be heading. My robotic logic does not fail me."
"Oh, well color me wrong then." Dan remarked.
