Chapter 10 A Minor Hiccup

Team RWBY were at they're room getting ready for they're plan, they girls dressed up in new outfits, Haru looks at them and they were ready.

"I thought that class would never end."Blake said.

"Alright, guys, today's the day! The investigation begins!"Ruby said and she looks at Haru."Aren't you going to change into different clothes too?"

"Oh I have a way."He shows them the dress up ring and uses it on his driver.

DRESS UP, PLEASE!

He then changes into a copy of the Emiya Archer clothes and shows it off.

They got stunned and Weiss said:"Wait, you got a ring that gives you new clothes, I'm so jealous."

"I thought of making a new version of my regular outfit."Haru said.

Yang purrs and said:"I like it."

"Well everyone remembers their roles?"Ruby asked.

"You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem."Weiss said.

"The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning."Blake said.

"I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard..."Yang said.

"All that is left is Haru, so which is us you want to go?"Ruby asked.

"All three groups."Haru said surprising them.

"How?"Blake asked and he uses another ring.

He then makes three clones of himself making the three Haru's pose together."Like this."

They got stunned and Ruby said:"That's so cool, I thought you could only use that ring when you were in your suit."

"Yeah."they then saw Sun hanging upside-down by his tail in their open window.

"Sun!"The team said.

"How did you get up there?"Yang asked.

"Ah, it's easy; I do it all the time."Sun said.

"You do what?!"Weiss said.

"I climb trees all the time! So, are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?"Sun said.

"We are going to investigate the situation... as a team."Blake said.

"Sorry, Sun. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to."Ruby said.

"Psh! That's dumb! We should always get friends involved! That's why I brought Neptune!"Sun said.

They then looked outside to see Neptune standing outside.

"Hey."He said before the clones came too."Holy shit theres more of him!"

"It's a spell."The three Harus said at the same time.

"How did you even get up here?"Ruby asked.

"I have my ways. Seriously, though, can I come in? We're like, really high up right now."Neptune said and he goes inside.

Alright, I'll go with Weiss; Sun, you can go with Blake. And Neptune, you can go with Yang since she doesn't have a partner, then Haru goes to each one of the groups. Everyone good?"Ruby said.

"Yes."The Harus said.

"Please don't talk at the same time it's freaky."Neptune said.

Each Haru goes to each group, the girls smiled and Sun high fives Haru.

Monumental tower

The trio arrived there at the place and Ruby said:"Woooow! I forget how big the Transmit tower looks up close!"

"You should see the one in Atlas!"Weiss said.

"That was the first one, right?"Ruby said.

"Correct."Weiss said.

"Well interesting."Haru looks at it.

"Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War."Weiss said.

"Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!"Ruby said making Haru chuckle.

"Come on don't be mean."Haru said.

"Thank you. Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have just as easily made a call from the library!"Weiss said.

"I know, but it's so coool! Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!"Ruby takes out her scroll but she dropped it making it fall on someones foot.

The person was Penny and she picked it up."You dropped this."

"Penny."Haru and Ruby said.

Penny got surprised.

"Where have you been? We haven't seen you since that night at the docks!"Ruby said.

"S-Sorry. I think you're confused."She then throws the scroll back at Ruby."h... I've got to go!"she then walks away.

"What was that about?"Weiss said.

"I don't know, but I'm going to find out. You go make your call! I'll meet up with you later!"Ruby goes after her.

"Hey!"Weiss said.

"I'll go after her so she doesn't do anything stupid."Haru goes after her.

"What about me?"Weiss asked.

"I made another one."A fourth Haru came surprising her.

Haru 1 and Ruby went up to Penny and Ruby said:"Penny! Where have you been? It's been weeks!"

"There seems to be a... misunderstanding."Penny said.

Haru then goes in front of her."Okay what's going on, we've haven't seen you since that day and were worried, we have a important task but we need to know what happened to you, so were asking as your friends."

Penny looks at him and Ruby."It isn't safe to talk here."

Weiss and Haru 4 went inside the tower together, they looked around before they went inside a elevator.

"Hello. Welcome to the CCT. How may I help you?"AI said.

"I'd like to go to the communications room, please."Weiss said.

"Absolutely. Could you please place your Scroll on the terminal to verify your identity?"Weiss puts her scroll in front of it."Perfect! Thank you, Miss Schnee."

Haru then saw her expression looking serious."Are you okay?"

"Oh I'm fine."She said.

They then entered a room with other people and walk up to a holographic woman."Welcome to the Beacon Cross Continental Transmit center. How may I help you?"

"I need to make a call to Schnee Company World Headquarters in Atlas."Weiss said.

"Absolutely. If you could head over to Terminal 3, I'll patch you through."

"Thank you!"Weiss and Haru went to the cubicle-like computer.

Weiss sits down with Haru standing to the side, then someone appears on the screen."Thank you for calling the Atlas- Oh! Miss Schnee! Good afternoon! Would you like me to patch you through to your father? I think your sister Winter might be here as well."

"No, thank you! I was actually wondering if you could find some files for me. I've compiled a short list."Weiss said and she shows the list from her scroll.

"I see. If you don't mind... what may I ask is this for?"woman asked.

"School project."Weiss said.

"Um... There are some sensitive documents on this list, ma'am."she said.

"Well, then, I'll be sure to treat them with care."Weiss said.

"Right... Very well. The data is being transferred to your Scroll now."Woman transfered it.

"Wonderful! That will be all, then."Weiss smiled.

"Are you sure you wouldn't like me to patch you through to your father before you go?"

Haru then sees Weiss lose her smile before she replaced it.

"Yes, I'm sure."Weiss said.

"Well, then... Have a nice day!"the screen ends and Weiss smiles falls down.

Haru puts a hand on her shoulder making her look at him, he gives her a sympathetic look making Weiss hold his hand.

At the city

Haru, Ruby and Penny were walking together alone.

"I wish I could help you, Ruby, Haru, but I don't know anything about those men."Penny said.

"Well, what happened to you that night? We were all together, and then you just disappeared! Were you kidnapped?"Ruby said.

"Oh, no! Nothing like that!"Penny said.

"Then where did you go?"Haru asked.

"I've never been to another kingdom before. My father asked me not to venture out too far, but... You have to understand, my father loves me very much; he just worries a lot."Penny said.

"Believe me, I know the feeling. But why not let us know you were okay?"Ruby said.

"I... was asked not to talk to you. Or Weiss. Or Blake. Or Yang. Or Haru. Anybody, really."Penny said.

"Okay, that's strange."Haru said."It wasn't your father was it?"She shakes her head.

They then stopped to see Ironwood doing a announcement in a hologram form.

"The AK-130 has been a standard security model of Remnant for several years, and they have done a fine job. Wouldn't you agree? Wouldn't you agree?"The clapping of the gathered audience causes the drones to take a jerky bow,"But... the kingdom of Atlas is a kingdom of innovation, and 'fine'... Well, that's just not good enough, is it? Presenting... the Atlesian Knight-200!"The cases behind them opened to reveal the new models and they knocked the previous ones down."Smarter, sleeker, and admittedly, a little less scary. These models will become active later this year, but they won't be alone! Now, the Atlesian Military has always supported the idea of removing men from the dangers of the battlefield. However, there are still many situations that will undoubtedly require... a human touch."

Haru narrows his eyes at the speech.

"Haru?"Penny said.

"So, our kingdom's greatest minds, in cooperation with the Schnee Dust Company, are proud to introduce... the Atlesian Paladin!"Ironwood shows the Paladin."Now, we couldn't have them here for you today, but these mechanized battle suits will be seen defending the borders of our kingdom within the year!"

"Let's go."Haru said and they continued.

Two of the armored soldiers pointed Penny out making her run away.

"Penny! Wait! Where are you going?"Ruby said.

Then they saw the soldiers chasing after they're friend.

"We gotta help her."Haru said and they ran after her.

"Down here! She went this way!"Soldier said.

Haru and Ruby were ahead and Ruby cuts a platform making boxes fall down distracting them, Haru then goes foward holding on to Ruby and he grabs Penny."Hold on!"he puts a ring on his belt.

TELEPORT, PLEASE!

They then teleported away and were on a different building.

"Wow that was a close one."Ruby said and she looks a Penny."Penny why were your running, why were they after you?"

"I..."Penny was nervous.

Haru looks at her and said:"You aren't human right?"that surprises them.

"How?"she said.

"I have a way to sense life energy and magical ones, and yours seem more man made."He said.

She looks down and said:"Yes, I am not a normal girl."

"Then Penny is."Ruby said.

"Yes, she's a robot."Haru said looking at her.

Then on another part of the city a woman with cat ears and a tail was jumping through many building while carrying a bow, she then looks through the city and said:"He's here, after so long I have found him."

Note:The group is now at the city with Haru using clones of himself to be with each of the girls, so we'll be there and Penny didn't need to show her true strenght since thanks to Dragon and Chimera Haru was able to tell, now to answer the reviews:"Guest I don't know and Blaze-Rider-10 no."
