Chapter 49 Never Miss a Beat

Haru and the others wacthed Penny and her teammate Ciel defeat Cardin's team and he smiles since he still didn't like them.
Ruby sees them start to walk away and excitedly gets up form her seat with the rest of her team to meet them at one of the exits.
"Penny!" She calls out to her.
"Ruby!" Penny tackles her into a hug as they fell to the ground.
Ruby grunted. "Why..."
"You wanted to see her." Hary said.
Penny got up. "Ruby, this is my teammate."
"Ciel Soleil." She bows.
Ruby raises her hand. "Hi! I'm Ru-"
"Ruby Rose. 15. Hails from Patch. Leader of Team RWBY. Status: Questionable." Ciel said.
"How did she know that?" Haru got surprised.
"Sooo... Penny! You two were incredible out there. How do you keep control of all those swords? It's so cool!" Ruby said.
Ciel looks at her watch. "Penny? I believe it is best if we move on to our next location."
Penny looks at them. "Could we have just a minute to talk?"
Ciel looks at her watch before nodding stepping back to count the time.
"So is she... your friend or..." Ruby said.
"Well, in a way. She's like Blake, but if Blake was ordered to spend time with you." Penny said.
"Oh. So. Weiss." Ruby said.
"Precisely." Penny said.
"Does she know about... y'know... beep boop bop, does not compute?" Ruby imitates a robot.
"Oh no. General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know. There was an incident with a magnet, but I was able to play it off." Penny said.
"Ruby, there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about." Penny got serious before whispering. "I want to stay at Beacon."
"Penny, they'll never let you do that." Ruby said.
Penny frowns but grins. "I know, but I have a plan."
"It's been precisely one minute, ma'am." Ciel said.
"I'll talk to you more soon, Ruby." Penny leaves.
Haru goes off. "It's my time."
"Oh that's right." Ruby said.
Yang goes out to the center of the field with Haru and she said: "Well, now it's our turn!"
"Well let's work together to the end." Haru said.
"With your skills, it will be easy." Yang said.
Then a rainbow zooms past the two surprising them, it then stops on the other side revealing a pigtailed Faunus girl with roller blades and a cat tail swishing around her weapon next to a young man wearing a fedora and sunglasses, holding a trumpet in one hand.
"So these are the guys." Haru sees them.
"Hey!" The guy Flynt called out. "Your friend's Weiss Schnee, right? The heiress."
"Well yeah." Haru said.
"I take it you're pretty good with Dust, then?" He said.
"We'll all pretty knowledgeable." Haru said.
"Yeah, my dad was good too. Owned a little Dust shop of his own. Till her father's company ran him out of business." He frowns.
Haru got surprised. "That's not her fault."
"Sure." Flynt said.
"Hey! Why don't you-" Yang got cut off.
"Hey! Why don't you?" Neon said. "That's what you sound like!"
"Uh..." Yang got stunned.
"Hey! Where'd you get your hair extensions?" Neon asked.
"This is just my normal hair." Yang said.
"Ooh, really?" Neon said.
Yang frowns and Haru can see that she's teasing her. "What is she eight?"
That made Yang chuckle a bit at the remark.
"You know you pretty cute." Neon said.
"Hey!" Yang got jealous.
The field opens, making the volcanic area, sandy desert, steaming geysers, and ruined buildings.
"Three! Two! One! Begin!" Port started.
Flynt raises the instrument to his lips and blows making a soundwave hitting the two back, Haru stabs his sword to stop himself. He then saw Neon knock Yang to the city leaving a rainbow trail.
Haru got up and moves around as Flynt kept shooting at him, it then sends a big sound attack at Haru, but he got ready.
CONNECT, PLEASE!
He takes out his staff spinning it around stopping him, Flynt got surprised as he saw the Dark Magic staff.
"A staff?" The girls from the crowd said.
"Haru never used that before." Weiss said.
Haru takes out a fire dust and uses it on the staff before shooting fireballs, Flynt blocks it with a sound attack but saw Haru moving as he dances around Flynt's music.
"Oh you can handle the beat." Flynt kept attacking.
Back in the ruined city, Neon manages to roll ahead of every blast from Ember Celica, skating on the railings and making faces at an irritated Yang. She continues to flip and slide over any terrain in her way.
"Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat! Never miss a beat!" She repeated.
She eventually comes down to the ground and charges at Yang, becoming a rainbow blue while hitting the blonde multiple times. Yang grits her teeth, unloading the spent shells in her gauntlets, Neon smirks and cracks her glow sticks, turning them blue. She comes forward again, dashing past Yang freezing her right leg.
"Hm-hmm! Look!" Neon smacks her butt. "Now you're bottom-heavy, too!"
Haru sees Yang getting iritated so he has a plan. "You guys think you can seperate us, think again." He uses a ring.
TELEPORT, PLEASE!
He teleported surprising Flynt, Yang breaks free and Neon tries to freeze her again, but she got kicked in the face. Yang sees Haru as he smiles and she smirks at him.
Yang then punches Neon towards Flynt and he got surprised at what happened to her. he sees them coming and he uses his semblance to make three copies surprising many.
"It appears young Flynt has just activated his Semblance! And quite a remarkable one at that. Ladies and gentlemen, feast your eyes on Flynt Coal's Killer Quartet!" Port said.
"But it's nothing against Haru." Ruby smiles.
Flynt shoots his musical blasts at them but Haru takes out another ring.

He makes a copy of himself surprising the enemy as he dodges with Yang punching them up, then they used it again.

They used it two times maing eight Harus on the arena and they landed.
"Yes, but Haru has the ability to clone himself better." Oobleck said.
Neon charges forward. "Never miss a beat! Never-" She got interrupted when Haru shoots at her skates destroying them and she cries.
Yang smirks and charges at her punching Neon away, Flynt shoots his attacks but the four Harus blocked it with the other four coming forward, they attacked him as he grunted with his clones vanishing.
"Now it's showtime!" Haru smiles.
"Yeah!" his friends cheered hearing that.
"Showtime! That's our thing!" Neon said.
He takes out a ring.
DANCE, PLEASE!

The music started making the two opponents surprised and Haru dances forward, Neon tries to get him but he moves around her kicking her to Yang who punches her back.
Flynt shoots his sound attacks but they moved around into Haru's own beat, Haru and his clones then danced around Flynt attacking him many times as he grunted.
Many cheered at Haru as he kept providing a show.
"I always love seeing Haru do that." Ruby dances to the beat.
"Well he does know how to put on a show." Blake said.
"Yes." Weiss nodded.
Haru and Yang dances together as they smiled with the girls pouting. They then striked they're enemies before spinning around hitting them against the barrier.
"And the winners are Team RWBY!" Oobleck said.
Many cheered as the two bow to the crowd together.
Neon got up. "WHAT!? We lost? We lost Team FNKI lost? That was... that was..." She got excited again. "... amazing! Oh my gosh, you guys were super crazy awesome! We should definitely party together sometime, right Flynt?"
"Yeah, I gotta admit dude. You got some nice moves." Flynt smiles.
Haru smiles and nods.
"Oh we should hang out more." Neon goes up to Haru.
"Sorry he's taken." Yang drags him away.
Later
Qrow and Ozpin were talking alone at the office.
"So did you find a new guardia?" Qrow asked.
"I might but I have a back up." Ozpin looks at a image of Haru.
"The kid? Why?" Qrow said.
"He's a magic user, even if we can't transfer the Maiden's powers, maybe he can help her." Ozpin said.
"You mean fix her?" Qrow said.
"Yes, it's worth a shot, but I think Amber can be safer with Haru." Ozpin said.
He's been watching Haru, and he can say he's the ace of they're side. A young magic user that will grow beyond the times of the originals.
"I hope you know what your doing." Qrow said.
"Just observe." Ozpin said.
Note: Flynt and Neon fought Haru with Yang instead of Weiss being there, Haru was a better choice for the team since his skills and abilities was better for the future matches, also Ozpin has a back up just in case with Haru.
