Chapter 61 Blake's Home

Haru was at the school as he looks over the edge of the place, he looks down at the city and sees it rebuilding back to what it was before.

"It's been days ever since the attack, but we managed to get through it." He smiles.

He got up and walks back to his room, he then saw Jaune and his team.

"Hey guys." he waves.

"Hey Haru!" They said.

"So what are you doing?" Haru asked.

"Oh just helping Pyrrha with her treatments." Jaune said.

"Yeah, I have been trying to make sure I can walk again soon." Pyrrha said.

"That strike really made it harder for your aura to heal you. But the old school way is also good." Haru said.

"Yeah." Pyrrha said.

"Pyrrha will be all better soon." Nora said.

"Well i'll be going seeing the girls." He said.

They saw Berry floating around.

"Come here cutie." Nora chases her.

"Nora!" Ren goes after her.

"Berry!" Haru goes after the little witch.

Berry flies around the place as many girls looked at her and squeeled.

"She's so cute!"

"I want to hug her!"

Berry looks around before Yang catches her. "Gotcha!"

She got surprised and Yang plays with her cheeks. "Your a little troublemaker."

She hugs Berry many times since she loves the little one.

'Still can't believe Ruby is her favorite.'

Ruby came and Berry flies off to her hug her.

"Oh come on!" Yang frowns.

"Berry!" Ruby hugs her.

Haru sees that. "Okay, I know Ruby's her favorite but really?"

Well she is a baby so that makes sense she's just picking who she likes more.

Berry goes with Ruby as Nora tickles the little one.

"Coochie coo."

Haru watches them and shakes his head.

Blake came. "Hey Haru."

"Oh hey Blake." He said.

"I wanted to ask you something." She said.

"Oh okay." He shrugs.

"I was thinking visiting home." She said.

"What?" He got surprised.

"After what happened with HIM, I wanted to visit my parents and I was thinking if you could come with me." Blake said.

"Oh you want company." He said.

She nodded at him.

"Well I could do it."

Berry sees them talking and heard what she said, she got surprised and goes up to Blake hugging her.

"Berry?" She got surprised.

Berry had a sad look on her face.

"It seems she doesn't want you to leave." Haru said.

Blake smiles. "I won't be for long."

"Maybe she can come too." Haru suggested.

"Well..." Blake thinks about. "Okay, just hope dad doesn't do anything rash."

"I wanna go too!" Cindy came.

Haru sighs. "You always get jealous when Berry gets too much attention."

"But I love momma Blake too!" Cindy said.

"Okay Cindy, you can come." Blake said.

"Yay!" She cheers.

"So when do we go?" Haru asked.

"Just wait for a bit, I still have to ask Professor Goodwitch if she can let us go." She said.

"Alright." He nodded.

"I haven't seen mom and dad for some time and i'm worried." Blake said.

"Well it's natural. Since it's been some time after you left." Haru said.

"Are they nice?" Cindy asked.

"Oh yeah." Blake nodded.

Cindy wonders who Blake's parents are.

Haru also wonders the same. 'Hope her father won't kill me.'

He already has some problems with Tai always keeping watch on him.

Later

They managed to get Glynda's permission and traveled to Blake's home as Haru was nervous meeting her parents.

Cindy follows them as Berry was inside a stroller to make sure she didn't fly.

"This is akward." Blake said as she pushes Berry.

"Yeah." Haru agrees since it's like they're married.

Haru and Blake arrived at her house as he looks at the door.

"So this is it." Haru said.

"Yeah." Blake said a bit nervous

She knocks on the door.

"Coming!" They hear a woman said before opening the door

They saw a woman that resembles a older woman.

"Blake?" She got surprised.

"H-hey mom." She said a bit nervously

She then hugs Blake. "I was so worried."

Blake hugs back.

"I'm sorry mom." She said

"Kali who is it?" They saw a muscular man come out and he was stunned seeing Blake.

"Blake is that you?" He questions before joining the hug

"Yes." She smiles.

Haru saw them looking at him. "Oh hello, my name is Haru Blake's teammate."

"Oh nice to meet you." Blake's mother said

"Yes you too mr and mrs?" He wonders about they're names.

"I'm Kali." The woman said.

"I'm Ghira." The man said with a light glare

Haru got nervous seeing that.

"Hi!" The two saw Cindy waving with Berry next to her in the stroller.

"What?!" Ghira looks at Haru.

"No! I adopted them as my kids since they were all alone." Haru said.

"Yes!" Blake nodded.

"I see." Kali said. "Excuse me for a bit." She behind a pillar.

Ghira noticed and saw her silently cheering since she can finally have grandkids.

He sighs a bit at her excitement.

Kali came back. "What are they're names?"

"Cindy and Berry." Haru said.

"You two are so adorable. Reminds me of when Blake was as young as you two." Kali said.

"Mom!" Blake complained.

Berry stares at Kali and raises her arms up for upsies.

Kali picks her up with a smile.

"Come on, I have lunch almost ready." She also takes Cindy by hand as they went inside.

Haru and Blake blinked.

"Is she treating them as if they're her grandkids?" Haru said.

Blake facepalms at what her mother did.

"Yes. Well Blake is our only daughter and this isn't a safe world." Ghira said.

Ghira knew she wanted grandkids but to accept the two daughters of her teammate.

"Let come on in." Ghira said.

The trio went inside as Haru will have his first meeting with her parents and he hopes he does alright.

Blake was also a bit nervous since it's be a long while since she saw her parents but with Haru there she has some courage.

Note: Blake and Haru went to see Blake's parents and Kali loves the girls right away.
