Izuku was dreaming about the recent meeting he and Danny had with All Might. He remembered the words All Might told him. He suddenly sat up and shouted, "I'll do my best!" He got confused as he looked around, "Wait, this isn't…oh, right. I'm in the dorm now."

He heard a knock on the wall next to him, "Now that you're awake, let's get moving." It was Danny.

All the boys piled into the bathroom to brush their teeth.

Class 1-A enjoyed breakfast in the common area before they all got their uniforms on and walked over to the main campus of UA.

After settling into homeroom, Aizawa entered and addressed the class, "I believe I mentioned this already, but your main focus this summer is obtaining provisional hero licenses. Do not take this lightly. A hero license means that you're responsible for human lives. You can imagine that the exam to receive one is very difficult. Only 50% of students pass the test required for these permits each year. In order to prepare, today you'll concentrate on creating something new. Two ultimate moves."

The classroom door slid open and Midnight, Ectoplasm, and Cementoss entered the classroom. Kaminari and Kirishima shouted, "Ultimate moves?! An exam is a normal school thing. But this is total hero work." Mina and Sero also cheered with excitement.

Ectoplasm said, "When we say "ultimate", we mean a move that will ensure you win against your opponent."

Cementoss added, "An action so unique to your identity that no other person can hope to copy it. Simply put, you must learn to lean into your strengths."

Midnight said, "Your moves represent who you are. These days, most pro heroes have an ultimate move. Those who don't are fools."

Aizawa continued, "This may sound abstract, but we'll explain more as the day goes on. For now, change into your costumes and meet in Gum Gamma."

Everyone changed into their costumes, Danny being the fastest as he just had to transform into Phantom, and they went to Gym Gamma. Aizawa and the other teachers were waiting for them there. "Gym Gamma, also know at the Academy as the "Training Dining Land" or TDL."

Cementoss said, "This facility was my idea. We can prepare unique terrains and obstacles for each student here. Here you will learn to serve up justice, hence the name."

"That's pretty cool," Kaminari commented.

Tenya raised his hand, "Please allow me a question. What is the advantage of having ultimate moves for our provisional exam? May we know your reasoning?"

Phantom chuckled, "Dude, that's two questions. Chill out."

Aizawa answered, "The job of a hero is to save people from all sorts of dangers. Crime, accidents, and natural or man-made disasters. Of course, the license exam analyzes how well you're able to deal with such things. It won't just be fighting. Your ability to gather information and make quick decisions will be judged. In addition to how well you communicate, cooperate, and lead others. Every year a new test is used to evaluate these qualities."

Midnight added, "One thing is especially important. If you want to be a pro hero, you must be able to prevail in battle. If you're prepared, you won't have to worry. And those of you with an ultimate move will have stronger results."

Cementoss said, "Your circumstances should not dictate the results of your future battles. Learn to be consistent and you will be a great asset on the front lines."

Ectoplasm added, "Your ultimate move doesn't necessarily have to be an attack. Take Iida's Reciproburst, for example. This sort of temporary boost in speed is valuable enough that it falls into the category of excellence we're looking for."

Tenya gasped, "You mean I've been doing an ultimate move all along?"

Sato realized, "So it's basically our secret weapon. Something that gives us the edge so we can win no matter who or what we're facing."

Midnight winked, "There's a smart boy. For example, how Kamui Woods is able to use his Lacquered Chain Prison to capture opponents in an instant. That's exactly what we want to see. But if you do want a more offensive move, look at Phantom's Ghostly Wail. As that's his ultimate move."

Phantom nodded, "I figured."

Aizawa said, "The training camp was interrupted. But the practice you did get in to develop your Quirks was part of the process needed to create these defining abilities. Now that you're caught up, you'll be working hard to develop powerful moves of your own for the next ten days or so. This is how you will spend the remainder of your summer vacation. Prepare for intensive training. In addition, you should think about how you can improve your costumes, especially now that you have a better understanding of your Quirks. I expect each of you to go Plus Ultra. Do you have it in you?"

Class 1-A replied, "Yes, sir!"

Kaminari added, "I'm so charged up for this!"

Izuku was freaking out internally, as he didn't have an ultimate move in mind. Phantom knew that Aizawa would probably make him work on his possession and Ghostly Wail.

Ectoplasm created clones of himself so that each student could work with a clone.

Oijiro was fighting a clone with his tail, but got his ass handed to him. The clone said, "It's obvious you're relying too much on your tail. Let's re-examine the basics of how you fight."

"Yes, sir," Oijiro replied. But internally he was freaking out as his tail is his power.

Mina shouted, "Ultimate move. Shooting acid from my hands. Super geyser!" She threw her hands out and only some of her acid came out. "What do you think?"

The clone replied, "If you're going to go for that route, make a nozzle with your fingers to increase aim and reach." Mina did just so. "Yes, like that. Go."

More acid was able to come out and Mina shouted, "Oh, crap! I'm totally awesome!"

The clone replied, "Now let's focus on increasing the potency of your acid."

Another clone was working with Momo, "Two creations at the same time. You may start with something simple."

Momo nodded, "Yes, sir." She created two poles that came out of her arms.

Another clone was working with Phantom, "Your Ghostly Wail is obviously your ultimate move. But you need to strengthen it so that it won't make you powerless after using it. Plus, you can work on directing it to minimize or maximize the damage output. Also, possession can also be an ultimate move to stop criminals in their tracks. I understand you have a moral code on it, but sometimes it may be the only option. So we will work on that as well."

Phantom sighed, "Yes, sir."

Izuku was watching everyone working hard on their Quirks. He was suddenly knocked on the head by Ectoplasm's clone, "Why are you staring off into space?"

Izuku answered, "Oh, um, about the moves we're coming up with. See, if I put too much power into my arms, then I won't be able to use them anymore. I'll break them. So I don't know what a special attack of mine would even look like."

The clone replied, "It's true that your Quirk is interesting. Not exactly one that we'd call consistent. If you don't have a fixed attack style yet, then let's focus on developing your power."

Izuku nodded, "Yes, sir."

Aizawa was watching all the students working hard when he heard All Might behind him, "Everyone's working hard, huh?"

Aizawa turned to the former pro hero, "All Might."

All Might said, "Yeah, I am here." He suddenly turned into his hero form, "Because I have the day off and I don't have anything else to do. Ha!"

Aizawa replied, "Will you please focus on recuperating and lesson planning?"

All Might returned to his normal self and walked up to Aizawa and Midnight, "Hey, why the cold reception? They're working their big moves now, right? There's no way I could miss being here for this. I'm still a UA teacher, you know." He noticed that Izuku was having trouble.

Bakugo was causing several explosions and shouted, "Now you explode!" He destroyed the Ectoplasm clone. "It's been a while since I was able to really let loose. Ectoplasm! I killed him! Gimme another one."

All Might noted, "That boy is incredible."

Aizawa agreed, "Yes, and he'll get even stronger in the future. He's trying to get to the same level as Fenton, maybe even surpass him."

Ochaco was floating in the air when she saw another of Bakugo's explosions, "Oh, look at that! Bakugo's going hardcore!"

Sato was eating a lot of sweets, "I bet he's got a ton of ideas for his special moves already."

Toru added, "He's been planning this stuff since the entrance exam."

Kaminari said, "I mean, we've all thought about it before, right? I used to imagine wielding a lightning sword. I'm getting hyped up just thinking about doing something that cool in real life."

Bakugo shouted, "I'll be better than all of you! Especially you, Fenton!"

Phantom sighed, then directed a Ghostly Wail at Bakugo, who fell out of the air as he was in the middle of charging up to another Ectoplasm clone. Bakugo shouted, "Hey, watch it."

Phantom chuckled, "You asked for it, dude."

The clone next to Phantom said, "Good concentration. You focused and narrowed your attack to one person. You are improving."

Phantom smiled, "Thanks."

Now Izuku was getting really worried as he knew he couldn't use his arms.

He heard All Might behind him, "Hey."

Izuku turned to All Might, "What are you doing here?"

All Might replied, "I've come with advice. Think for yourself. You're still trying to imitate me."

Izuku said, "Oh, I guess I didn't…"

All Might then walked over to Kirishima, "Yo, Kirishima, I've got some wisdom to lay down on ya. So, instead of going for small tricks with your Hardening, try being a bulldozer."

Kirishima nodded, "Yes, sir."

Phantom recognized what All Might was doing. All Might was trying to be a good teacher and helping everyone think for themselves.

All Might walked over to Jiro next. Aizawa was shocked, "He's suddenly good at this?" But then he saw a book in All Might's back pocket that was about being a better teacher.

Later that day, Aizawa told the class, "Regarding your costume improvements, once you've figured out if anything needs to change, head to the development studio here. Get the experts to help you out and give suggestions. They'll know what to do."

Izuku walked to the development studio and stood in front of the door. He remembered All Might's words to him. "I don't really get why that's a bad thing. But I know I have to do something about this. They have to have some kind of brace to reinforce my arms here. I've gotta train my body so I can wield One For All at maximum power. And I need to figure out a way to use my Quirk in my ultimate move. Otherwise, I'll fall behind everyone else. That's not gonna happen. I have to make it to the top and achieve my dream."

Meanwhile, Tenya and Ochaco were walking together. Tenya said, "Oh, I see. You're focusing on making your body float."

Ochaco nodded, "If I increase my mobility, I can use the martial arts I learned from my internship even more. What are you doing?"

Tenya answered, "It's quite simple. I want to reduce Recipro's drawbacks. I plan on asking the development studio to improve my radiator."

Ochaoc looked forward and saw Izuku standing in front of the development studio, "Oh! Hey there, Deku! I was just wondering where you were!"

She ran towards Izuku as Tenya shouted, "Don't run in the halls!"

Ochaco asked, "You're here for costume improvements, too?"

But before Izuku could address Ochaco, the door opened and an explosion could be heard, some of it spilling into the hallway. Smoke spilled out, covering Izuku. Ochaco and Tenya gasped.

Hatsume could be heard saying, "Ow." over and over again. Power Loader could also be heard, "Ya know, you shouldn't try to mix everything you can find in the lab together like that."

Hatusme giggled, "Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader, Thomas Edison said something like that once. Even if something I make doesn't work like I've envisioned it, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time."

Power Loader shouted, "You almost blew up the entire studio! Will you please open your ears and listen to me for once? Hatsume!"

The smoke cleared and Hatusme was actually on top of Izuku, making Ochaco jealous. Hatsume said to Izuku, "Hey. When did you get here?"

Izuku started to freak as he could see her boobs directly.

Eventually the smoke settled. Hatsume said as she stood up, "Oh, sorry about the sudden explosion. It's been a while, huh? Class 1-A, right? Uh, yeah I forgot all your names already."

Izuku mumbled out his name, Tenya shouted his, but also added, "The man you tricked into being a walking advertisement during the sports festival."

Hatsume replied, "Never heard of you. Well, I'm busy developing new babies, so bye!"

She started to walk away as Izuku said, "Wait a second, please. I wanted to ask Mr. Power Loader about improving some elements of my costume."

That stopped Hatsume in her tracks, "What! You can count me in!"

But Power Loader interrupted, "Hatsume. It's fine for you to be in and out of the studio all day since you're in the dorms. But if you stop following my instructions and keep running wild in here, you're banned."

Izuku awkwardly said, "Um, hello."

Power Loader said, "I heard from Eraser Head that you're here to upgrade those costumes for your new moves, yes? Come on in."

Everyone walked into the studio. Izuku was amazed, "Oh! This looks like a top secret lab!"

Power Loader said, "Now! Hand over your instructions, please. They should've been with the case your costume was delivered in. I have a license to make costumes, so I'm allowed to do some mild tinkering with those that were made out of house. For small changes and repairs, I can simply report what I alter to the design company. They'll do the paperwork for me. But, for major changes, we'll have to fill out an application and ask the design professionals to make the adjustments for us. After that's completed, the government will make sure the new costume meets certain standards. When approved, it'll be sent back here. And we work with the best design agencies available. So there's usually just a three day turnaround."

Izuku replied, "Uh, well, I was wondering if there was a way I could reduce the strain on the ligaments in my arms. Is that hard? Or possible?"

Power Loader said, "Hmm, let's see, Midoriya. You mainly fight with your fists and your fingers. In that case, I should be able to do something for you pretty fast."

Ochaco shouted, "Deku, that's awesome!"

Izuku was about to reply, but he suddenly felt someone feeling up his body. He looked down to see Hatsume rubbing his torso and arms, "Yes, yes, I see the problem."

Ochaco was freaking out, "Hatsume, what are you doing to him?"

Hatsume answered, "I'm feeling out his muscles. Oh my, your body is much more muscly than it looks. Don't you worry. I've got just what you need."

She rushed over and then put Izuku in a body suit, "My very special baby. The power suit! This high tech darling can read muscle contractions and support your movements. Meet my baby number 49!"

Izuku muttered, "Um, But I really just need support for my arms."

Hatsume didn't hear him, "Program Start!"

The suit started to move. Izuku said, "Holy whoa. This thing is amazing! Wait. No. I take that back. My spine! It's twisting me in half! Oh god, I'm gonna die!"

Hatsume turned the suit off, "End program. Looks like I made a mistake or two in the limit calculations. That's my bad."

Ochaco rushed over to Izuku as the suit was taken off, "Oh my gosh, are you hurt?"

Izuku muttered, "I came in asking for some kind of arm brace, and instead my body got almost pretzeled."

Hatsume said, "Now that I think about it, I could use the suit as a capture item."

Tenya whispered to Power Loader, "Sir, I was wondering if you could improve the cooling devices in my legs."

But Hatsume heard him, "If that's what you are in the market for. Try this baby on!"

She put devices on Tenya's arms. "It's an electric booster for radiators that can coolify anything that gives off heat. Sweet baby number 36."

Tenya argued, "Hatsume, there's nothing wrong with my boosters. And why my arms?"

But Hatsume said, "Booster. Go." The boosters activated and launched Tenya to the ceiling.

Eventually he was brought down. Tenya muttered, "My Quirk is in my legs, you madwoman."

Hatsume replied, "Yeah, I know. But you don't understand. Come on, it's so brilliant. If you're wanting to cool down your legs, then why don't you run with your arms instead?"

Power Loader shouted, "Stop messing around."

But Izuku suddenly had a light bulb moment as he realized something. Hatsume's words seemed to have given him an idea.

Hatsume walked away as Power Loader said, "Sorry, guys. I'm trying to get her to look past her own devices."

Tenya sighed, "I'm not sure that'll ever happen."

Ochaco nodded, "Same."

Power Loader said, "But you know, if you all are aspiring to be heroes, then you should treasure your relationship with her. You'll need her once you've been made pros. Look in the corner. That pile of junk? Those are all the support items Hatsume's made since starting school here. She's always inventing, even when school's not in session. I've seen many support course students in my career, but I tell you, this girl is something special."

Izuku asked, "She made all of this in such a short time? That's nuts."

Power Loader said, "Common sense is a collection of prejudices acquired by age 18. That's something Einstein said. That girl is unafraid of failure. Constantly thinking of new ideas and trying them out. Innovators are people who don't feel chained down by existing concepts."

What the group didn't know was that Danny was in the room with them, he had walked around trying to find Izuku, but saw the disturbance in the development studio, so made himself invisible and he overheard what was being said. Power Loader's words about Hatsume reminded him of his parents, always coming up with new inventions and never giving up on them. That made him tear up a little. He also did see the look on Izuku's face and knew that the green haired boy finally figured out what he needed to do.

Izuku walked over to Tenya, "Iida! Please, there's so much I want you to teach me!"

Tenya was confused, "Uh, wait, what are you talking about? You want my help in your training? We haven't made any progress on our costumes yet."

Izuku realized, "Oh, that's right."

Ochaco said, "Whoa! Your face totally lit up just now!"

Izuku replied, "I was just realizing something. Oh, I never asked, are you changing part of your costume?"

Ochaco answered, "A little. I don't wanna feel sick anymore."

Hatsume appeared behind her, "Oh, you don't say. In that case, you've gotta try this out!"

She tried to put Ochaco in a device, but Ochaco asked, "Why do I feel like it's about to explode?"

And explode it did. Hatsume giggled, "Work in progress."

The days passed by and everyone was working hard to master their Quirks and create their Ultimate moves. Danny was working on strengthening his Ghostly Wail while also working on his possession, which included a funny bit where he possessed Kaminari and made him overuse his electricity to temporarily fry his brain, making everyone laugh at his dumb face. Danny did apologize afterwards.

4 days later, All Might walked into Gym Gamma towards Aizawa, "How are things progressing?"

Aizawa replied, "You're back again? We're getting there."

Just outside, Izuku and Danny were walking in as Danny commented, "It looks like you made some upgrades."

Izuku nodded, "I got braces added that reduce the strain on my arms."

Danny asked, "You didn't want to change the base design of your costume?"

Izuku shook his head, "No, I like my costume as it is. But a few tweaks were needed."

Danny nodded, "Same with mine. I wore that black jumpsuit for a while before I decided to change it at the start of the school year. But I kept this emblem as my friend designed it herself."

Izuku smiled, "That's cool."

Danny smirked back, "It's better than a full body suit trying to twist my spine."

Izuku paled, "Wait, you saw that?"

Danny nodded, "Yeah, I was wondering where you were and heard the commotion in the development studio. So I went invisible and saw it all. Hatsume is talented, but a little too enthusiastic."

Back at Gym Gamma, Tokoyami was showing off his Ultimate Move to Midnight, "Now. Onto me, Dark Shadow."

"Right," Dark Shadow replied as he covered Tokoyami.

Tokoyami explained, "By covering myself with Dark Shadow, my strength is enhanced. I'm better at close combat. I call it Abyssal Black Body!"

Midnight asked, "Is that hard to say? It's important that it's easy to call out."

Dark Shadow replied, "Got it!"

Meanwhile, Aizawa said to All Might, "Some of them have finally solidified their fighting styles. And there are those already putting together multiple special moves."

Bakugo was working on a special move, "Not from my entire hand. But a blast from a single, concentrated point. AP Shot!" He blasted a small hole into the wall in front of him. "Ha, ha! I did it!"

All Might commented, "No surprise that Young Bakugo is doing well. As usual. How about Young Fenton. Has he been working on his possession and Ghostly Wail?"

Before Aizawa could answer, a piece of concrete broke off and fell towards All Might. Bakugo shouted, "Hey! Watch out!"

Aizawa was about to pull All Might away, but suddenly Izuku jumped out of nowhere and smashed the rock with his foot. Danny came flying in and saw what Izuku did.

Izuku had realized that he was copying All Might too much and his arms became too damaged. So now he can use his legs for attacks.

Danny flew over to Izuku and whispered, "Nice one. What do you call that move?"

Izuku whispered back, "One For All, Full Cowling. Shoot Style."

All Might muttered, "You did it, kid."
