So, welcome to this side story, A Hunter's Report. This is obviously a direct inspiration from 'Dark Souls: Tales of the Other Embers', and 'Caboose's Shorts'. Now, this chapter is going to be an Author's Note for one reason.
After working with my co-writer, HalfWitHillbilly, He suggested to create a side story where it can take place in. And there will be two phrases.
The first and foremost is the Pre-Extermination Day Phase. It's pretty self-explanatory. It will take place within the three months before the three month Extermination begins due to the Hunter's Actions.
The second is the Post-Extermination Day Phase. Like with the passage above, this takes place after Extermination-Day, and deals with many characters. This ranges from the Heroes to the side characters to even the Villains.
Alright, looks like I have explained much. So, expect me and my Co-Writer to write many, MANY short stories. Ranging from comedy to lore dumping to even drama.
With that, I shall see you all where this story is going to take off from.
