Running to hug little 12 year old Manon. "Marinette NO!" They embrace, as Manon screams getting picked up by Ivan whom walks her away.
"Well I believe our very first volunteer from District 12. Your name dear."
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng." She states standing on the makeshift stage in a daze.
"Not related to the young girl, truly remarkable of you. . . Now for the boys." The tall purplette states grabbing from the names of boys.
"Adrien Agreste."
At that name, Marinette's bluebell eyes widen. First Manon, now Adrien. MY ADRIEN! Oh yeah, the odds are totally in my favor, to die of stupidity!' She so wrapped up in her thoughts, never noticing Adrien gently took her hand to firmly shake.
