I was reading some quints crossover's and there were some good ones like [The strawberry's five equal brides] and [The quintessential Spider-man] sadly booth seems to be kinda uncontinued. when it suddenly came to me, Kiyomaro could also work. through the whole manga/anime we see him open up toward the people around and use his intellect to help people. in the sequel we see him work as a archeologist/teacher also with the fact the whole Mamodo battle happen when he was in middle school so there is space for him in high school to play around.

Also I'll the japanese version of the names with Zatch bell.

anyway I own neither Zatch bell or the quintessential quintuplets their IPs belong to their corresponding author.

Chapter 1

'How did it come to this?' was wondering Kiyomaro while a girl with red hair and star hairpins was looking at him with a serious expression.

The first thing that came to pick his attention was her uniform. She wasn't wearing the Asashi school uniform but it was a sailor uniform from a school that he didn't know.

Then suddenly he got the answer in his head [Kurobara highschool for girls] 'huh? she probably just transferred here but what's up with answer-Talker? I wasn't even that curious to know that'.

Answer-Talker the ability that Kiyomaro got during his middle school years when he was part of the fight to decide the next king of the Mamodo world with his partner gash, what answer-talker could do was give him the answer of any question he has in his head, while it was convenient during fights like pointing out where is the weak point of an enemy or which time is better to dodge, in peaceful times Kiyomaro didn't find it much use and he didn't really needed help with his studies because right now his score was the same as in middle school he still was the top of his class, but at least now he had some sort of rivalry another student to see who achieved the top scored.

'Maybe i'm just losing my edge, answer-talker has really been going on and off for a while' while Kiyomaro was pondering about his ability and its recently strange behavior, the red head was still looking at him with irritation and she started to pout showing how irritated she was starting to become.

Kiyomaro, having witnessed things way worse like the giant Faudo or Clear, couldn't help to find her cute.

"Is very rude to stare that long, you know?" asked the girl, which kiyomaro still didn't know its name '...nothing this time? really is working when it wants now' pondered Kiyomaro for the last time before answering to the girl before him "sorry I was spacing out what was it?".

Her scowl increased "like I said you are in my seat!" It wasn't like she was usually that petty but her recent transfer to a new school, the reasons for said transfer and her having to hold her tray of food. which was filled to the brim was affecting her mood.

"Oh, I really didn't know it was taken before, but there wasn't anyone here when I sat here."

"The lunch lady mistook my order with another rude person, that took me some time." feeling the honesty of the guy in front of her, she started to calm down a little but she really wanted to sit down and eat soon before her stomach grumbled.

"Haha it is peak hour after all the cafeteria is full right now those things happen, don't mind" when he wondered how many mistakes there were in the lunch orders today the answer his ability give him was [1] "man is really not your lucky day" Kiyomaro couldn't help but mutter after that answer.

"Huh?" Itsuki was startled at the sudden comment.

"I mean why don't you sit down in front of me, that seat is empty or are you waiting for someone?"

"No, today I'm eating alone," said the girl with a sigh, finally sitting down, is not like she had much of an option like he said it was peak hour and the cafeteria was full.

"So all that food is for you?" while Kiyomaro was used to big eaters like Gash and kanchome, those were Mamodos not humans, which the girl that was before him surely is.

"Fufu surprised? but the brain needs energy to work full time with this I can study at full power for the rest of the day" is not like kiyomaro didn't get it he also sometimes stays up late with a plate of snacks studying about ancient ruins or trying to find any information about the world of the Mamodos that remain on earth 'But that amount of food usually will only give you sleep, isn't it actually counter productive' thought kiyomaro but he didn't mention it not wanting to make the girl pout again when she just started to be friendly.

Then at the mention his lunch buddy did about studying he remembered the last test he did, he hadn't bothered to look since he already knew his score but he might as well.

"Isn't it rude to pull out a test while eating?" that picks up her attention again to the person she is seating with while taking a break from engulfing her lunch.

"It's just that I haven't checked how I did" said Kiyomaro looking at his test with a 100% score, he hasn't used answer-talker for the test, this score was all him and while he liked to see the result of his efforts, Kiyomaro couldn't help having this weird feeling.

"Eh? you did that bad?" looking at the expression of her lunch mate she couldn't help to get the impression that the guy in front of her got a bad note. sometimes she would see a familiar expression in one of her sisters or in herself, suddenly an idea struck her "let me see,I also have to take a test just arriving here, maybe we can help each other." Maybe she wanted to have someone to study with or simply a companion in sorrows. She didn't wait for his answer and took the test from his hands.

"Eh?" a 100%? EH!?" she couldn't help to raise her voice due the surprise she hasn't seen a 100% since she was a little kid mainly in those art classes that by only making what was asked you already got a good score but this was different this highschool had pretty decent level, she couldn't get even half the answers right but the guy in front of her got everything right.

"And is also rude to take things without permission"

kiyomaro yanked the test from the surprised girl giving her a nasty look "sorry is just that I wanted to compare, maybe help if you got something wrong were I didn't" kiyomaro saw the girl looking small and smaller, he couldn't get angry when her action clearly came from impulsiveness an not malice.

She was feeling like an idiot, she probably even had small tears coming out of her eyes then she saw a hand in front of her "huh?" It came from her lunch buddy, it surprised her she didn't know what to do about it. She almost stretched her hand to take his like if he was offering her some sort of salvation.

"Your test" said kiyomaro while giving her a serious look.

"Eh?" in the end it wasn't the hand of a savior it was the one of an executioner.

"C'mon you look my test is only fair if I look your's"

"B-b-but" she feel her face getting red from shame the tears in her eyes were not small anymore, she knew she failed her test, she already took a big step by trying compare her test with someone she thought he also failed but if it was someone that aced the test with a 100% is almost like asking to be laugh at.

"What you can look at my things but I can look at your's" while Kiyomaro wasn't as temperamental as before due to his time with Gash he still has his limits.

for some reason she saw the face of her lunch mate change into one of a demon "hiiii here it is!." not wanting to get him more angry, she handed him her test as quick as possible 'he is really scary when angry' thought the red head, closing her eyes and having her head turn toward the table trying her hardest to not let the tears fall.

There she sat in silence waiting for him to laugh at her for failing at a test that he got perfect, time passed she only heard the sound of chairs moving, people eating, chatting and of paper turning that surely was from the guy in front of her looking at her poor excuse of a score.

and then kiyomaro finally opened his mouth "I see, you started to run out of time mid way and got nervous?" the red head looked at him with surprise. His voice did not contain mockery or disdain. It was an honest question.

"How did you know?." she couldn't help but to wonder how he knew about that.

"Look here the first half of the answers while not all are perfect or right they are more articulated and in the latter half that is gone and in the paper show you used a lot the eraser going from one answer to another and even sometimes coming back to the same answer" his explanation was simple and precise "I recommend to leave the answer that you think is going to take a lot time for latter, solve quickly what you can then come back for what is hardest to you at least that way you are not going to get cut short in a question that you can normally answer."

She just looked at him astonished, she and her sisters had tutors before but none of them found her problems that quickly by just looking at her test or give her an advice that precise, it usually was study harder or you are not studying enough.

"I don't know about your other assignatures but with this one. I recommend to go a little back and built a stronger foundation. For example, this question you did not use correctly…" Then kiyomaro realized that he kept talking without thinking about the person in question "umm yeah but that's just me being intruding. anyway I already saw your test so we are equal" Kiyomaro let out a fake cough trying to ease the tension.

There was a little silence between them "thank you very much!, it really helped me see some bad habits" the red head no only had stars in her hair pins but also in her eyes as well "i'm sorry if this is sudden but can you help me study as you have seen my notes are not best, not only this material but i'm also not much better with the other classes" as fast as her excitement came it went when confronted with the reality of score still being very low and little her efforts have amounted.

Kiyomaro let out sight which the redhead took instantly as no to her answer, thinking that he already give up on her "look I have this tutoring job my father recommended me" the read head thought that at least his rejection was a soft one, this time around. Some tutors have out right quit on them while calling them idiots "that job has priority but if your fine with some odds hours then we can fix something" she could only look at him with eyes full of hopes after getting a positive response.

"really!? you really mean it?" Kiyomaro looked at her wondering where all that distrust came from but also why those eyes were shining with hope.

There was something in the expression of the girl in front of him when looked he was looking at her test, a expression that he knew very well it was frustration, a frustration so big you wanted to cry and call it quits, but she wasn't quitting it was clear she was biting her lips swallowing her tears and then she keep trying, it reminded him of when Gash and him lost to Barry, how after that defeat the tears just came out on their own, their frustration of losing and being spared on a whim. It took some time for them to get back on their feet after that.

Kiyomaro couldn't help but to smile at the sight before him "Yes I mean it, I also helped some friends in middle school with their grades, so this is not new to me, just let me know my schedule in the tutoring job and we can fix something" it makes him remember some of the times in middle school helping his classmates while gash and Umagon were playing in the background, then it suddenly hit him "hey".

"What?" The girl was surprised upon suddenly being called.

"It should be written in our tests but let me do it properly I'm Takamine Kiyomaro nice to meet you."

The red head just looked at him initially with surprise then shame. "ah yes, how could i forget I'm Nakano Itsuki like wise" then she gave him a heartfelt smile.

That was how Takamine Kiyomaro, the one that once helped his partner in the battle of the 100 Mamodo become king, met the younger of Nakano sisters.
