It is the year 2000 in an alternate universe where Dio made peace with the Joestar Family…

"ALRIGHT KIDS!" Dio roared, stomping out of the Joestar mansion. "GET YOUR BAGS PACKED!"

"What Mr. Dio is trying to say is that we are going on a family vacation!" Grandpa Joestar said, poking his head out from behind Dio's body. "Now Jolyne, Giorno, Josuke! Get your bags packed as quick as you can! We're leaving for Cape Cod tomorrow!"

"Aw, thanks, Great-Grandpa!" Jolyne gave the old man a hug before running inside. The nine-year old girl was followed by her "brothers", 15-year-old Giorno and 17-year-old Josuke. Jolyne was a cute little girl with green hair who loved playing outside and getting up to her elbows in dirt in the mud. She was the daughter of Jotaro. Jolyne loved her "big bro Josuke" to death.

Humorously, Josuke was Giorno's grand-nephew and Jolyne's granduncle, due to the weirdness of the Joestar family. He enjoyed skateboarding and studying for college (under the insistence of his dad). His hair was a source of pride for him, and he got angry when anyone insulted it.

Finally, Giorno, the "middle child", was the son of Dio. Due to the immortal Dio having stolen Jonathan Joestar's body, Giorno was technically a great-uncle to many of the Joestars themselves. He was right in the middle of the hormonal rush of teen-hood, and he didn't care much about anything important.

As the three heirs to the Joestar name clomped up the stairs, getting mud on the carpets, Joseph let out a sigh. "Oh, I can't wait to go to Cape Cod," the patriarch declared. Meanwhile, behind his back, Jotaro and Dio were getting into an epic glare-fest, because while Joseph had forgiven Dio (having never fought Dio himself), Jotaro certainly had not.

"Did you pack your bags, boys?" Joseph asked. He was met with a resounding "YES!" from the two men. "All righty then!" The old man clapped his hands together excitedly. "I need to mark our route on the atlas. Hmm… Dio, how about you make sure the van is in working order, please. And after you're done with that, run over to the neighbors and ask them to water the plants while we're gone – no, wait, Jotaro had better do that."

"Had better is an understatement," Jotaro muttered. "Anything else, Gramps? Should I buy some snacks for the kids?"

"Why not?" Joseph cheerfully said. "And while you're at it, get some sunscreen. And a parasol for Mr. Dio. I hear that the sun at Cape Cod can be quite awful!"
