Merlin didn't make it out of his encounter with the Lamia unscathed, or so Arthur thinks when he slays the beast and finds Merlin slumped against a wall and bleeding. When he learns the true source of the injuries he is furious. Cue hurt Merlin and a caring, very worried Arthur.
