A/N - I decided to take my own spin on this Fanfic combining 3 of my favorite anime series
Prologue - My son
Death...
In the end, it is still an immanent action that will forever take place in the living world...
In some cases of immortality, people hate it even more - for they have to see their very precious people die in front of them.
Yes, immortality was definitely both a gift and a curse.
And for Veldora Tempest, 'The Storm Dragon', he had to see a lot of people who he cherished die in his presence... he hated it... he hated having to watch mortals who he called friends over the thousand of years, die over and over again.
And now watching as his Best Friend Forever become the 'Supreme God' of this world, he could not stop himself from smiling for the life of him and with just one look around the built tempest nation, he decided to try and carry on - to the other world, 'Xen' since his purpose here in this one was now complete.
The 'Yen' part of the world was the part of the world he and the others resided in. And the 'Xen' part of the world was the part of the world no one except the true dragons knew existed. The 'Xen' part of the world you could call the 'Spirit Realm' where a person could be just free.
To clarify further - A long time ago when the big bang first started these 2 parts of the world did try to collide but it just could not because both of these 2 parts had a bad and good attribute to it. If these 2 parts of the world did collide though with their 4 attributes then it would have just created a Chain reaction forming the end of both parts of the world.
And with that last thought of could have been the future, Veldora wasted no more time... It indeed did take time - a few days precise to say his goodbyes to everyone, pack up his belongings and begin his journey, the one his elder brother wanted for him to have.
He also received a few gifts from everyone - with his favorite being the one from his friend Rimuru Tempest... He could not wait to activate that gift.
...
'Shoosh' ... Without realizing it Veldora went through the 'Xen' portal and was now flying high in the sky.
'So this the world big brother could not shut up about... well things could be worst.' Veldora thought taking in the sights.
Veldora was just about to activate his cloaking magic when...
"Sniff"... "Sniff"... "Sniff"
He heard crying... and even though it was against his very nature as a True Dragon to carry on with his own business, he could not leave his own curiousity alone - thank Rimuru for that.

A small fragile boy could be seen walking through a large, dense forest. The boy had sunny blond, spikey hair, the purest ocean blue eyes and three fox-like whisker marks on each side of his cheeks. The boy could also be seen wearing a white t-shirt with his clan symbol on his back with black pants and sandals.
He had seen it all, on their faces, their reactions was what set him close to insanity watching them realize their own son was witnessing their deaths.
This was not how he was supposed to spend his 6th birthday.
This boy is our protagonist and his name was Naruto Uzumaki, so far he was not having a very good day... He lost his whole family, his clan and he was all alone, and to think that all this happened in just the span of 2 days.
Yep... It was safe to say this boy had lost not just everything he held dear but all of his hope and the will to live as well...
Well then, it was good thing then he met him.
For when he looked up to the large shadow looming over him, he saw earlier - he saw it clear as day, 'A Living Dragon'.
When the small, fragile child lifted up his head, Veldora could not stop himself from losing his himself in the child's eyes. Lightly shocking himself with his magic, he got back at the task at hand.
"You look to be far from home child... Why are crying...?" Veldora asked uncharacteristically softly
Sniffing quietly the boy decided to answer : "I have no home... I lost it all... I have nothing to hold onto... All because of those Zeref Whorshippers..." he said hollow-like, the last part however he said with low venom and it peaked Veldoras interest.
If his memory served right, It was Zeref that pleaded his Older Brother for some strange reason to kill him, although it was over 1000 years ago - it did not change the matter here, to think worshippers of that Dark Mage would do something like this, it boiled his blood and after all the bloodshed he had to endure back in his world, well then it was time he retaliated with a different purpose in this world.
Looking down at the child once more, he scanned the boy for any latent power he could muster up and boy was he baffeld, the amount of potential in this boy was enormous. And his Magic reserves was no joke either.
Heh, with this child he knew just what type of magic he would teach him.
"Tell me child, just what is your name?" Veldora asked the boy.
"It's Naruto... Naruto Uzumaki..." Naruto said quietly.
"Well then Naruto Uzumaki... If you do not wish to die, then I suggest you follow me." Veldora said walking past him, expecting the boy to follow.
Naruto was surprised, to think that out of no where this dragon would appear, not kill him, but take interest in him and wish to take care of him (well that's what his child brain thinks).
He ran to the dragons side and got on the back, and together they rode off in the sunrise, not sunset.
"By the way, I forgot to ask, but just what is your name Mister dragon...?" Naruto asked curious
"It's Veldora, Veldora Tempest and you little Naruto shall now he known as my Slayer - My Little Storm Dragon Slayer." Veldora bellowed out in the Vast Sky.

For the past 6 years, Veldora and Naruto got closer - acting more like father and son with each passing day. Their bond grew closer everyday with each passing minute. When Naruto turned 7, Veldora decided to teach not just his Slayer Magic but also a few dragon techniques as well as useful magic techniques which could come in handy when he could not use his slayer magic.
Veldora practically knew though, if Naruto kept going the way he did - he would and could activate his own Dragon Force at will. All it will need is time... But he could not be there to help him will that.
Naruto was now 12, in exactly 2 more years - a gate will open forcing dragon slayers of the past into this timeline.
Even though Veldora was not from this part of the world - he knew he had to follow it's laws, but not purpose.
Veldora knew just what he was going to do, even though he was going to have to leave his son, he will not him alone.
For he shall be with him in spirit. (Literally)
"Dad..." a young boy's voice could be heard, turning around Veldora saw his son of 12 years old now. Naruto definitely grew to be tall and strong, mostly lean, you could tell he was getting the right nourishment, and with it he will continue to grow stronger (and taller) in his coming of years.
Wearing a orange shirt, black pants, sandals and a green lacrima gem around his neck (will be explained in the following chapters), Veldora could not stop admiring how much his son has grown but when he saw the concerned expression adopting on his son's face, he stopped admiring.
"You're leaving, aren't you..." Naruto said shocking Veldora.
"I at least thought we had a little more time, but...", Of course Naruto knew about the gate, Veldora obviously can not for the life of him lie to his son.
"We do have more time... But listen Naruto, big things are going to happen soon, things that I know you can't help him stopping - Listen to me, son... In time, the world shall know your Name and it is your job to let them remember it, and while I will not be by your side - I shall be there in spirit and never fear for you not shall be alone... For My pride in you will forever carry you on, Alright. " Veldora presented to his, Naruto being too happy to have made his father proud, never did he notice his father's hand in his shoulder - passing 2 separate magic cores within his son.
"Thanks dad..." Naruto said "Will I ever see you again?" He asked quietly.
"Only when you need to kid... See you when you need to, brat..." Veldora said his last goodbye to his son, before Naruto fell asleep from his Father's 'True Dragonic Aura'.
"Take care of yourself my son, and you rimuru try not to bring too much trouble in his life." and with that last thought to himself, Veldora vanished never to be seen again for over 10 years.
The next day Naruto woke up alone on his and his father's home, not seeing any sign of his father around, he decided to get ready for his grand adventure - for if he was going to let the people remember his name and help all types of people, he needed to be there for that, but first he needed to hone his skills and he knew just the all places and ways to do it.
The world would not have known it, but pretty soon, it was going to revive in it's new Hero in time, 'The Storm Dragon Slayer', and he would be known for many, many ages.
