Sakura had been killed by Sasuke and Naruto during their last fight as the Fourth Great Shinobi War came to a close
Naruto came running at Sasuke with rasengan, and Sasuke used chidori. Just like on the rooftop that day.
Kakashi should have never taught Sasuke that deadly assassination technique. Red flags could be seen ever since their graduation day introduction, when Sasuke swore he was an avenger and he would rebuild his clan. Kill that man..
It got even worse when Orochimaru bit him in the neck with the curse mark during the Chunin exams. His temperament grew darker, the curse mark altering him and polluting him. He joined the Akatsuki and severed ties with everyone he once knew and his village, which didn't seem to care.
Sasuke was marked as a traitor.
Sakura could hear them screaming each other's names.
"SASSUKKKEEE! NARUTTOOOOO!"
The noise of chirping electricity rose in the air. It was so hard to breathe.
"Please, just stop! Enough is enough. I can't take it anymore." Sakura cried
Kakashi raced forward, trying to stop them, but it was too late. They had not been expecting her to step in between them. The surprise marred their faces. Blood poured out of her mouth as she gave one last smile. Her boys..
The Pure Lands were calling Sakura, and in the moment, she saw everyone that was waiting for her in the afterlife. It was beautiful. But she didn't make it there quite yet. Hagoromo had other plans for the pinkette. She would be reborn in another timeline. A world unlike her own.
Hagoromo promised she would still maintain her past memories. He said that it wasn't her time to come back home.
"It's time to wake up, my child."
Sakura opened her eyes once more.
Author's note: I thought it would interesting for Sakura to be reborn in HxH universe as Machi's little sister. I want to see more stories of Sakura in the HxH universe or interacting with the Phantom Troupe. Sakura is one of my favorite characters.
