Well hello there! Chapter 13's here! I'm very surprised with how fast it went... But it's convenient... As it's a chapter out for my birthday!
Today we'll focus on the Ruins Zone with Bakugo and friends.
Be ready, because it'll get... Explosive hehe!
But before, the reviews!
FriendlyShadows: Yeah, they sure are colorful hehe! Thanks! It's always encouraging to see that kind of comments :).
Colossus Bridger: It's bound to happen, and it's here for that! I don't think I'll go that low on the numbers, as I need quite a lot of them for the future. If I eliminate too much of them now it'll be difficult to actually kill non-important clones that I could need. It's unfortunate, but I keep quite a lot of clones as meatbags to defend the most important ones.
And here we- Oh... Wait. Something is popping on my screen...
ANNOUNCEMENT!
After quite some time actually thinking about the project, and about how it'll be done, I finally opened a Discord Server! The link is in my bio, just make sure that you put everything together.
If you have problems with the invite link, send me a PM.
Hope to see some of you soon!
And with that small announcement, here we go!
Chapter 13: Burning Ruins.
/
Bakugo didn't have time to stop when the portal opened in front of him. He plunged through it, finding himself for a few moments in a dark abyss, before being spit out by another portal. The explosive blond rolled on the ground for three meters before getting up, looking around…
Where was he?
Around him, collapsed buildings extended in every direction, debris scattered the ground, crushing cars or signs, everything around him was in ruins, destroyed, broken. He was in the ruins zone… But why had they thrown him there? Gunshots and screams began to echo somewhere, and Bakugo recognized them very well; it was those damn clones. He thought for a moment… If the clones were shooting, that meant there was something hostile here…
And he knew what it was.
He had a hunch, and he turned his head toward one of the buildings, whose entrance hall was shattered and littered with debris, explosions crackling in the palms of his hands.
A metallic sound echoed from inside, followed by a deep, mocking laugh.
Three figures emerged from the shadows, each wearing a smug smile.
"Finally, here's our first victim…", said the first, a tall, thin man with long black hair that seemed to float like snakes. "My name is Serpentis. Are you ready to abandon all hope?"
Next to him, a woman with short blue hair, dressed in a black and red uniform, crossed her arms.
"I'm Glacia. Don't worry, it won't take long, we'll make sure to give you a quick death…"
The third villain, a muscular colossus with a shaved head tattooed with dragons and other creatures, stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.
"And I'm Bulldozer. I'll break your bones like sticks."
Bakugo smiled savagely, the explosions in his hands intensifying.
"You really think you can beat me three against one? Cowards. You'll regret challenging me."
Without waiting for an answer, he attacked.
His hands rose, aimed at the three. There were three pops, and an explosion was fired, sending flying debris in all directions when it crashed into the building.
The deafening noise echoed in the air, momentarily drowning out the sound of distant battles. The villains dodged nimbly, but Bakugo didn't let them breathe.
He propelled himself forward, putting his hands back, using his explosions to achieve a sort of pseudo-flight. He headed straight for Serpentis, aiming for a direct hit to the head. The man dodged smoothly, inclining to the side, his hair transforming into tendrils that tried to grab the explosive blond.
They hissed as they moved quickly through the air, but Bakugo reacted instantly. An explosion directed at the ground allowed him to rise quickly, escaping the hair tendrils.
"Pathetic…", mocked Serpentis, laughing, "If the next heroes are at this level, then I pity them."
The blond emitted a beastly growl at the man. In the air, he pivoted skillfully and launched a series of explosions towards Glacia.
The woman raised her hand and created a thick ice wall, protecting herself and her colleagues. The explosion hit the ice barrier head-on in a clash of ice and fire, sending bright shards in all directions. The sound of shattering ice echoed as Bakugo had to shield himself from the fragments, sometimes as big as his head, flying everywhere.
Bulldozer took advantage of the distraction to charge straight at the boy, the shrapnel cascading off the colossus without affecting him, his steps making the ground shake.
Bakugo heard him coming and, with a defiant shout, increased the intensity of his explosions, pointed an arm, and unleashed one at point-blank range towards the man's face, who stopped dead in his tracks to shield his eyes from the bright light.
The explosive blond immediately followed up by jumping and delivering a roundhouse kick to Bulldozer's jaw, causing the man to stagger.
The blond then rose into the air, flashes of light illuminating his path, leaving trails of smoke behind him. Up high, he hovered for a moment, red eyes blazing with anger, like an angel of death, before diving like a falcon, using his explosions to gain speed.
He aimed for Bulldozer, who prepared to take the hit.
"Come on! I'm waiting for you!" roared the man, raising his arms to catch Bakugo.
At the last moment, Bakugo changed direction with a lateral explosion, dodging the muscular villain's arms that closed where he would have been if he had continued straight. He landed behind Bulldozer and pointed his gauntlet, a hand on the pin of his grenade gauntlet.
"DIE!"
And the boy pulled the pin sharply, the titanic explosion hitting the man's back head-on, propelling the massive villain towards Serpentis and Glacia.
While the two managed to dodge, Bulldozer and the fireball continued their trajectory, shattering a building's facade into pieces and crashing through several more walls.
"YOU THOUGHT YOU HAD THE GUTS TO BEAT ME? I HOPE YOU ENJOYED THE PAIN!", shouted Bakugo in the direction the villain had been sent, before looking at the other two, "WHO WANTS A TASTE OF HIS BLOOD?"
He turned to Glacia, whose eyes burned with anger.
"I'm going to freeze you in place, little brat.", she growled, raising her hands to form sharp ice spikes.
"TRY ME!", yelled back Bakugo, launching a series of explosions that shattered the ice spikes before they could reach him. The sound of explosions mixed with the crashing ice, created a chaotic symphony that sounded like music to the explosive blond's ears. Serpentis, using the distraction, sent his hair tendrils toward Bakugo, the hair wrapping around his arms and legs, immobilizing him.
Bakugo grimaced in anger and pain, feeling the pressure of the tendrils tightening around his limbs.
"You're finished. Your arrogance has led you to your end.", murmured Serpentis with a sadistic smile. Bakugo then turned with all his strength, glaring darkly at the villain.
"That was just a warm-up."
-pop! Pop! POP! BOOM!-
Bakugo felt the nitroglycerin heat up and crackle with formidable acuity before igniting and exploding, sending a powerful blast that shattered the tendrils and sent Serpentis flying backward.
The villain crashed against a wall, and the sound of breaking bones filled the air. Heavy footsteps echoed behind him, the steps of someone he thought was out of commission. Bulldozer charged again, his eyes filled with rage and his body covered in burns of various degrees.
"I'M GOING TO CRUSH YOU TO PIECES!", he howled, launching a powerful punch at the explosive blond. The boy skillfully dodged, using a small explosion to propel himself to the side.
"Missed, bastard!", he taunted with a provocative smile. He had to roll to the side barely after landing as an ice spike grazed his arm, reminding him that Glacia was still there.
The fight intensified as Bakugo faced the two villains simultaneously. The explosive blond calculated each action, each explosion carefully angled to allow him to dodge or attack the two villains in turn, swirling around them or above them in a ballet of light, giving them no time to rest. The sound of explosions, cracking ice, and punches echoed in the air, the melody of a fierce battle for victory.
Bakugo focused on Glacia, now the biggest threat, using his explosions to shatter her ice barriers and force her to retreat.
"You're too slow, extra!", he mocked, creating an explosion that pierced the ice around her. Glacia grimaced as the shards of her own protection caused small cuts, raising her hands to form a new barrier.
But Bakugo was faster. He propelled himself forward, breaking the ice with his body and colliding with Glacia head-on. He followed up with a right hook to her face, then another hook, this time from the left, followed by a punch to the stomach that forced the woman to double over, and finally an explosive uppercut to the face that sent her flying backward. But he wasn't finished, and the explosive blond propelled himself forward, grabbing the collar of her costume before soaring with her to fifteen meters high. Skillfully, he pivoted in mid-air, laughing like a maniac.
"You'd better do better next time! Oh… But I forgot… There won't be a next time for you…", said the blond with a cheerful tone, pointing an arm upward and creating a strong explosion.
The two plummeted towards the ground, Bakugo accelerating them with each explosion, before they crashed down with a phenomenal force that cracked the ground beneath them. The blond stood up unscathed, a cruelly satisfied look on his face as he watched Glacia cough and spit blood while struggling to catch her breath.
One more to go.
Bulldozer, seeing his companions fall, charged again with a roar of rage. But Bakugo had a plan to eliminate the villain once and for all. He waited until Bulldozer was close enough, then propelled himself into the air with an explosion, dodging the man's punch. He pivoted and dived down, hitting the villain square in the chest and making him stagger, his breath cut off. The blond then grabbed onto the man's shirt.
"You're all trash in my way, remember this name, Bakugo Katsuki, because it's the name of the future No. 1 hero, and this name, you'll hear it behind bars!"
And he launched himself backward while a powerful explosion that sent the villain into a wall that shattered on impact, the villain disappearing behind the debris. Bakugo landed with an elegant pirouette, rubbing his burning hands together and admiring his work.
These petty villains had decided to attack him, but he had brought them back to level zero. An idea suddenly popped into his head…
Ground Zero… Hmm…
However, footsteps in the relative silence made him turn his head, pointing his grenade gauntlet in the direction of the sound, his hand on the pin…
Kirishima, who had just emerged from the debris of the facade where the explosive blond had sent Bulldozer the first time, raised his arms in a sign of peace, his eyes widening in surprise.
"Oh! Calm down, Bakubro! You wouldn't blow up a comrade's face, would you?"
The explosive blond growled and lowered his grenade shaped gauntlet.
"Tsk… You're lucky, Spiky Hair, next time announce yourself, you damn extra, because I guarantee I'll pull the pin immediately next time."
Kirishima gulped.
"I'll keep that in mind," said the red-haired boy. Bakugo let out another 'Tsk' before starting to walk away into the streets towards the sound of battles.
"Bakubro? Where are you going?"
"Beat up some street scum."
"And save our clone comrades?" asked Kirishima.
"Because you see those damn clones extra as comrades?", spat the explosive blond, turning around, his eyes flashing with anger, "They're trash, less than nothing, not even dogs that could lick my boots. Let them die, I don't give a damn, all I want is a fight.", said Bakugo, an explosion punctuating the last words of his sentence, the light illuminating his face making him look more like a demon than a man, with his red eyes burning with an almost bestial desire for violence.

-PEW PEW!-
"TAKE THEM DOWN!"
Focus, if he had to describe what was happening before his eyes at that moment, could say it was utter chaos. Shots were flying in all directions, both blaster discharges and real projectiles, in the area where the clones had regrouped.
Focus raised his head from behind his barricade of debris, lined up his shot, and pulled the trigger. A villain who had just peeked out from behind his cover was struck by the yellow discharge. The man raised his arms with a strangled cry and fell backward. Suddenly, a projectile from behind hit the clone next to him, Viper, in the hip. His vod cried out, dropping his Z-6 and falling forward.
His assailant was immediately neutralized by Ex and Canonball, who riddled him with shots, the man collapsing to the ground in spasms from the volume of electricity he had taken. Focus dragged his injured vod back as two impacts from various projectiles narrowly missed his head.
"MEDIC!"
Focus then shouted, catching the attention of Lockdown, who immediately rushed toward them, crossing the open space between the barricade he was at and the one Focus was at, running, completely ignoring the projectiles that narrowly missed him.
A jet of overheated acid landed right in front of his legs, but the medic simply jumped over it before sliding next to the wounded gunner, pulling out his bag. Focus left his wounded brother in the sergeant's care, refocusing on the front.
Raising his weapon, he aimed and fired again, forcing a group of three villains, clustered behind a fourth who was advancing with some sort of energy shield that absorbed the shots, to stop. The man who had created the shield grimaced but redirected the energy from the shots to his shield, seemingly enlarging it slightly.
Next to him, Fog seemed to notice and crouched behind the barricade to grab his RPS-6 to load a rocket.
"BACKBLAST!", shouted the AT Trooper, to which someone responded.
"CLEAR!"
-KABAOM!-
The detonation echoed loudly, and a cloud of dust rose behind the gaping hole of the rocket launcher as a tongue of fire shot out. The rocket crashed just in front of the shield and detonated. While the shrapnel was blocked, the blast swept the villains away like straw. A clone suddenly approached, climbing onto the makeshift barricade while firing his DC-17, taking down another opponent.
"COME ON, GUYS! PUSH THEM BACK! MAKE THEM PAY FOR EVERY SCRATCH ON YOUR ARMOR!"
Lieutenant Dengloy… Focus had always admired him… Like everyone else… Captain Lock, Lieutenants Torda, Xyomm, and the now-deceased Drum… All were worthy of admiration…
But Dengloy was something else… While the lieutenant was very intelligent and calculating and had great faith in the captain's decisions, he was also a clone who didn't hesitate to show himself to the enemy and tell them to their faces that the company would win despite all the challenges they faced. Some time ago, when the company had just been assembled, there was talk of placing, in case of the then-captain's death, Marauder, Dengloy in charge of the company.
However, it was Lock who got the position after Marauder's tragic death when his gunship crashed into an MTT after being hit by an AA gun shot that struck the ship head-on, leaving no survivors. And since then, Lock had been leading the company with a firm hand and didn't seem ready to give up his post.
Focus continued to fire, pressing the trigger so relentlessly that his finger started to hurt. However, suddenly…
"DEBRIS!", the shout came from behind, and Focus turned his head just in time to see the barricade where Dozer, Prev, and Checkmate were, explode as a massive piece of debris went through it, sending the three flying without them being able to do anything.
From the smoke, a laugh rose…
And instantly, an overwhelming pressure descended on Focus's shoulders, pinning him in place… There were groans nearby, and it took all of Focus's strength to turn his head. His vods seemed to be crushed by the force that had descended on them.
A figure emerged from the cloud of dust; it was a tall, but fairly skinny young man with gray hair and extremely pale, almost white, and blind eyes. The man wore black attire, decorated with gray patterns. He floated in the air, debris slowly gravitating around him. Some sort of telekinesis, Focus understood, that the man also used to pin them to the ground.
A shot rang out, but debris blocked the shot. The man turned his head towards Corporal Jak, who had one hand on the trigger of his Z-6.
"Brave, but futile."
And the man drew the clone into his field.
"A very nice armor you have there, my boy. I might steal a piece as a trophy…"
While he was talking, the other villains present came out from their cover and calmly approached the barricades, climbing over them without haste, as the clones couldn't retaliate. Two of them approached Focus, and one of them, a man with a hammer looking like head, knelt down to examine the clone.
"You're not so scary when you're harmless like this."
"Wait… Until… We… Stand… Up…", spat Focus with hatred. A laugh suddenly rose from the position of the floating man.
"I like you, you've got quite a pig-headed attitude! I think I might take you as a servant… After my colleagues have killed your little friends, of course…"
The corporal tried to break free from the telekinetic hold to punch the man, to no avail, only amusing the man.
However… Suddenly… -BOOM!-
An explosion rang out in the sky, and everyone looked up…
Just as a figure collided with the gray-haired man head-on.
"DIE!"
-KA BOOM-
An explosion accentuated the impact, and the concrete cracked as the villain was driven into the ground. Instantly, the pressure disappeared, and Focus headbutted the still-stunned hammerhead villain.
The man staggered back, and the clone took the opportunity to sweep his legs, making him fall with a grunt. Focus didn't waste a second, literally jumping to his feet, he punched the second villain in the stomach before finishing him off with a blow to the jugular.
"Bastards.", spat the clone, looking around… 'Reinforcements' had apparently arrived.
/
When Kirishima arrived, the first thing he noticed was that the battleground now looked like a brawling pit. Bakugo was smashing villains in a corner, having just driven a young man with gray hair and pale eyes into the ground, while the clones fought with everything they had—fists, rocks, even using their weapons as improvised clubs.
Both clones and villains were rolling on the ground, putting each other in arm locks, tackling, sometimes ganging up two or even three against one, dueling, using quirks all over the place, and shooting at point-blank range...
In short, it was pure chaos. Not like on TV.
This was a pure street fight. A fight called 'dirty'. A howl of anger sounded to his right, and he raised his arms just in time, his skin hardening, to block the impact of a fire axe that should have come down on his head. The blade of the weapon screeched on his hardened forearms, creating a shower of sparks that cascaded over the red-haired boy.
Kirishima brutally shoved the axe away before punching the man in the ribs, who staggered, clutching his aching side. A white shape arrived and fearlessly tackled the man, knocking down the villain who dropped the weapon.
The clone got up, pinned the man down by crushing his solar plexus with his knee, and struck the man's face with the butt of his weapon, breaking his nose, before shooting a yellow discharge point-blank into the man's chest, whose head fell limply, now unconscious.
Another villain approached and tried to attack the clone, but Kirishima intervened, delivering a cataclysmic punch to his jaw, knocking him out instantly.
"Thanks!", said the clone, raising his weapon to shoot haphazardly into the general melee.
"No problem, bro!", said the boy, before stepping in again to block some kind of purple spikes that bounced harmlessly off his rock-hard skin.
"I'm Fearless!", said the armor covered teen, turning to bend down and fire three shots that grazed the boy's ribs. The first yellow ray missed its target, as did the second, but the third hit the villain in the shoulder.
The woman in question had purple hair shaved on the sides and piercings in his nose and face, and his arm was covered in purple needles that seemed to regrow after his barrage. She screamed in pain, spun around, and collapsed face down on the concrete.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kirishima, Kirishima Eijiro.", replied the red-haired boy.
"Likewise!"
The two stood back to back, covering each other, as the villains fell like flies…
/
Bakugo had lost all sense of the word 'half-measure' a long time ago.
After driving the man with telekinesis two centimeters into the cement, triggering a general melee when the trash that were the clones were freed from the pressure exerted by the man and attacked the villains in close combat.
Bakugo plunged in without hesitation. A severed armored hand flew near him, and the blond turned, sending an explosion into the face of a villain who was about to strike a clone. The man staggered back, and the clone, despite having just lost his hand, furiously jumped on him to deliver repeated blows with the butt of his weapon to his face.
Bakugo let out a small 'tsk'…
So pathetic, they were so desperate that they fought clumsily.
Suddenly, he heard a whistle, and a sort of one-meter-tall rag doll brought down a sharp knife where his leg had been a second before.
Bakugo growled and sent an explosion. The doll backed away just in time.
And from the turmoil, two villains jumped on him. One was a tall and thin man, the rag doll perched in his hands and preparing for another attack. The other was smaller, almost shriveled, with sharp facial features and piercing eyes, like those of a rodent.
"GET READY TO TASTE DEFEAT!", roared Bakugo as he pointed his hands forward, the nitroglycerin starting to ignite with small crackles. The man with the doll, whom Bakugo immediately nicknamed 'Puppetmaster', made a quick gesture, and the doll leaped forward, jumping towards Bakugo with surprising agility. The blond had to dodge a knife strike from the doll just in time.
"YOU THINK A PLUSHY WILL STOP ME?" roared Bakugo, launching a low-intensity explosion at the doll. The doll absorbed the explosion, its fabric body seeming to absorb part of the impact before standing back up as if nothing had happened.
The explosive blond frowned, realizing that this fight would be more difficult than he had initially thought, which only made him angrier. Meanwhile, the second villain, nicknamed 'Ratman' in Bakugo's mind, took advantage of the distraction to sneak up behind him. The explosive blond sensed a movement behind him and turned just in time to see Ratman rushing towards him, jaw opened, ready to bite him with his yellow rotten jagged teeths.
He jumped back while firing, the villain dodging while showing his fangs.
"YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT, YOU DIRTY RAT!", shouted Bakugo, his boots hitting the ground with a dull thud followed by a screech as they scraped the ground.
Ratman got up, a cruel grin on his face.
"Catch me if you can.", he hissed, disappearing into the melee.
Bakugo didn't have time to chase him because Puppetman and his stupid doll were back on the attack. This time, the doll struck with a series of quick, precise blows, its limbs moving with an eerie fluidity for a controlled object. Bakugo blocked and dodged skillfully, spinning between the strikes with explosions.
"You wanna play? Fine, let's play!" Bakugo grunted. He propelled himself forward, dodging another strike of the doll to launch himself at Puppetman with an explosion. He grabbed the man by the arm, soared two meters into the air, spun around, and threw the man to the ground.
Puppetman crashed heavily, winded, his doll suddenly falling lifeless to the ground, before Bakugo landed on him feet-first on his stomach. The man's eyes widened like saucers, he vomited, and then his eyes rolled back as he fell unconscious.
"Now for Rat Face…", Bakugo muttered, but before he could turn, a sudden, sharp pain in his leg made him scream. He released an explosion, but Ratman backed away, licking the blood around his mouth and on his teeth.
Bakugo roared with anger, and with renewed vigor, he lunged at the rat-man, ignoring the bite on his leg. The villain saw him coming and dodged, using his tail to whip Bakugo's face. The pain was excruciating.
However, it didn't stop Bakugo, who grabbed the villain by the neck, spun like a top, dragging the surprisingly light villain with him. The blond then hurled him into the air, and the villain let out a frightened scream.
Bakugo armed his second gauntlet, the one still filled with his sweat, and pulled the pin. The explosion was once again cataclysmic, the blast sweeping everyone within a six-meter radius, while Bakugo's feet literally sank into the ground from the recoil, and the villain crashed into a facade with an audible sound of breaking bones, continuing through several walls and coming out the other side of the building.
Silence fell over the battlefield...
And suddenly… the villains broke off the fight, completely demoralized, the kids had a demon within their ranks, and they weren't brought here to die. The clones then reacted, and yellow bolts flew in all directions, hitting some retreating villains, making them fall to the ground… Suddenly, a cry of rage was heard behind the blond, who turned.
A villain jumped, with a blade extending from his elbow, aiming to impale Bakugo's face.
The explosive blond raised his arms in a defensive reflex, but he had been too slow… However, a white figure collided with the villain, whose blade slashed his cheek.
He ignored the pain and focused on the clone who had just saved him.
"I'LL BLEED YOU DRY, YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" yelled the villain, but the clone used his weapon, a sort of minigun, like a sledgehammer.
"SHUT."
He swept the man's legs, making him fall to his knees.
"YOUR."
The clone struck across the face. The jaw cracked and dislocated. The man fell to all fours. The clone then readied his weapon, pointing the rapidly spinning barrels at the villain's face.
"FUCKING!"
The villain raised his head a little, his eyes widening in terror.
"MOUTH!"
The clone pulled the trigger. The villain screamed and jerked as the yellow energy bolts hit him, before losing consciousness.
However… Bakugo being Bakugo…
"HEY! EXTRA! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING, YOU IDIOT?"
The clone froze, his shoulders tensed… And he turned very slowly…
"What did you call me?", asked the clone with a growl, glaring at Bakugo through his opaque visor…
"YOU HEARD ME!", the blond retorted.
The clone dropped his weapon, clenching his fists uncontrollably. His whole body shook, his head fell back before he lowered it again, fixing his gaze on Bakugo.
"This is how you treat someone who just saved your life?", said the clone with a deceptively calm air…
"Sergeant Jak… Calm down…" said someone who looked like an officer, currently being treated by a medic for a nasty cut on his arm, sitting next to the clone who had lost his hand, the stump wrapped in a blood-soaked bandage, who was silently watching the scene, along with another clone who was cradling his severed leg, sobbing quietly… Several others were around, bandages covering minor wounds or cuts, also silently watching the scene.
"Shut your mouth.", replied the sergeant curtly. He then took a step forward, "If I wasn't there, you'd be dead, pierced by the blade.", the clone indicated, pushing Bakugo with a finger.
"Don't touch me, scum." spat the blond, "He wouldn't have done anything to me. He's just a worthless extra."
"Who are you calling scum?" said the clone, his voice shaking with contained fury, before Kirishima stepped in and pushed them both apart.
"Calm down, come on Bakubro, admit it, he saved your life, it's okay to admit it."
"Shut up shark teeth. I'd rather die than be saved by scum like them. They're fucking garbage, just clones, let them die, I don't care. In fact, the fewer of them, the better for everyone."
This time, the sergeant didn't reply. Instead, he let out a roar of pure rage, pushed Kirishima aside, and lunged at Bakugo's throat. Caught off guard, Bakugo didn't have time to react, and the two rolled on the ground, pummeling each other with punches.
Bakugo managed to throw the clone off with a powerful shove, sending him aside. The clone landed in a crouched position, like an enraged panther, before leaping at Bakugo again. However, Bakugo was ready this time, and an explosion sent the clone flying backward.
The clone landed heavily on his back, and Bakugo jumped on him, pinning him down, preparing a powerful explosion, his eyes blazing with fury.
A punch to the face dislodged Bakugo, who spat blood as his lip split open. He wiped the blood away and turned back to the clone… who charged like a bull, arms wrapping around Bakugo's waist, lifting him, and slamming him down with force.
Bakugo's breath was knocked out of him, his eyes wide as he struggled to regain his breath, panicking…
The sergeant pounced on him, landing hooks to Bakugo's face, and was about to deliver a punch right to his nose…
He glowed blue for a second and then collapsed unconscious on Bakugo, who pushed him off… A clone stood before him, weapon in hand, barrel pointed at him. And the clone pulled the trigger.
/
Focus felt deep satisfaction as Bakugo glowed blue and fell unconscious.
The clone really didn't like him. An oversized ego, a punchable face, and, above all, the main tormentor of Izuku… Everything about Bakugo made Focus dislike him immensely.
He switched his weapon back to training mode instead of stun and stepped aside for Lockdown to examine the two.
Thinking about Izuku worried him a bit. How was the green-haired boy doing? Was he okay? Amidst the chaos on the radio, it was hard to know, let alone ask… Especially since he didn't know where the boy was…
"Focus!" the lieutenant called, and the clone turned around. Dengloy looked at him and gave a thumbs up, "Good initiative."
Focus nodded before Kirishima spoke up, worried.
"What did you do to them?!"
He tried to rush to the two, but Fearless grabbed his arm and pulled him back.
"Calm down, they're just knocked out. If the fight had continued, it would have ended badly. They'll wake up after a while."
Kirishima seemed to hesitate for a moment before sighing…
"I trust you…"
Dengloy nodded slowly.
"Perfect. Okay guys, let's move! Help the injured!"
And with that, the clones started to move around, gathering weapons, helping the wounded, each clone finding a different task to perform.
And it's the end of the Chapter! Next time, it's our favorite kettle hater that will be in the lights! Seeya!
