Peach Creek Town
The next morning, Ash has started his psychic training with Shadow Mewtwo in a private area along with the barrier so no one can see them. At first it was a struggle when he started using telekinesis for the first time in a long time, but Ash had managed to get the hang of it. Right now, Ash was at a town called Peach Creek Town
"Quite a peaceful town, isn't it?" Ash said
"Yeah, but it's a bit too quiet." Pikachu said
"Yeah, I'm kind of creeped out, where is everyone?" Eevee said
"Hey Ash, come over here." Meowth called out
"What wrong, Meowth?" Ash approached him
"Look at that." Meowth pointed as a big mess in a lane
"Geez, what happened here." Ash said in aghast
"Looks like some kind of hurricane caused this." Pikachu said
"Ash? Is that you over there?" A familiar voice said from the other side of the fallen tree
"Is that who I think it is?" Ash said as he climbed over the fallen tree & saw the Powerpuff Girls. "Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup."
"Hi Ash, we saw you at the Seashore Contest, you were amazing." Bubbles said happily.
"Yeah, congrats man, we're proud of you." Buttercup smiled
"Thanks girls, you're passing by Peach Creek Town too?" Ash said
"Yeah, but we're also here to see our friends who live here, we got a message from them saying they need our help, they said that it's an emergency." Blossom said
"I'm guessing this mess is one of the reasons." Ash said
"Yeah, no doubt this is the result of their get-rich-quick scams, & technically their last." Buttercup said
"Girls, we should go to the old abandoned house where they're located." Bubbles said
"Right, & we need to hurry." Blossom said
"Wait, girls, can I come with you?" Ash said "I want to help you help your friends, if that's okay."
"Okay, we need all the help we can get." Blossom said
"Besides, they would love to meet you." Bubbles smiled
When they arrived at the old abandoned house, Blossom knocked on the door which was opened by a girl with curly ginger hair covering her eye wearing a white shirt with red polka dots, golden earrings, a pink belt, cyan jeans, and purple shoes with white soles.
"Girls, about time you got here." The girl said
"Hey Lee." Blossom greeted as the girl named Lee noticed Ash
"Girls, I thought you were told to come alone, who the heck is this punk-dressed shorty?" Lee(Ed Edd n Eddy) said harshly
"Lee, don't be so rude, this is our new friend, Ash, he's the one we told you about." Bubbles said
"Oh, why didn't you say so in the first place, pleased to meet ya, kid, the name's Lee Kanker." Lee greeted as he gave Ash a bone-crushing handshake
"Nice to meet you too, Ow! Nice grip." Ash winced
"Heh, sorry about that." Lee said "Anyway, were you guys followed?"
"No, we didn't see them on the way here." Blossom said
"Okay." Lee said as she looked around "Come on in."
"Hold on a second, Spearow I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Spearow
"Spearow!" Spearow cawed
"Spearow, I want you to go to the roof & keep a sharp eye out." Ash said "Caw if you see anyone approaching here."
"Spear." Spearow nodded as he flew up to the roof.
"Hm, good thinking, kid." Lee said impressively as they entered the house
"So what's the sitch, Lee?" Buttercup asked
"Terrible, the boys had a big hiccup & now everybody in the Cul-De-Sac is after them, so my sisters & I took them here to hide since no one would dare come here."
Lee explained
"Yeah, we saw the result of that big hiccup back there at the Lane." Blossom said
"This place is very big for a house." Ash commented
"Yep, my sisters & I use it as one of our hideouts, pretty cool huh?" Lee said
"Yeah." Ash said
"Bubbles/Buttercup." A couple of voices said
They looked & saw 2 girls: one had short blue hair wearing a pink belt, green non-camouflaged BDU pants, a dark green wristband on her left arm, & black shoes with gray soles. The other girl had long blonde hair wearing a light gray T-shirt, red shorts with a pink belt, yellow socks, & red shoes with dark gray soles.
"Hi May." Bubbles said as he hugged the blonde girl named May
"Hi Bubbles, congratulations on getting your first ribbon." May(Ed Edd n Eddy) said
"Yo Marie, sup girl." Buttercup said as she fist bump with the bluenette girl named Marie
"Going good until now, how many badges you got?" Marie(Ed Edd n Eddy) said
"Two at the moment." Buttercup said
"Cool." Marie said
"May, Marie, this is the girls' new friend Ash." Lee said
"Pleased to meet you."Ash said
"Mm-hm/likewise." Marie & May said
"Lee, where are the boys?" Blossom asked
"In the next room." Lee said
They went into the next room where they saw 3 boys: the first boy was a tall with buzz cut with a unibrow wearing baggy purple/blue pants, large black shoes, & a red & white striped T-shirt with a dark olive green jacket. The second boy was wearing a red shirt, purple shorts, long red thigh-high socks, cyan-colored shoes with yellow soles, & a black ski hat. The third boy was wearing a yellow polo shirt with a purple collar/sleeve hems & a vertical red stripe on the right side, light blue pants & red shoes
"Girls, aren't you a sight for sore eyes, you gotta–." The third boy said before noticing Ash "Wait, who are you?"
"Forgive me, my name is Ash, Ash Tajiri." Ash said
"Oh, so you're the one the girls told us about, nice to meet you, the name's Eddy." Eddy(Ed Edd n Eddy) said as he shook Ash's hand
"Hello, I'm Ed." Ed(Ed Edd n Eddy) said
"I'm Edd with two Ds, but you can call me Double D, it's a real pleasure to meet your acquaintance." Edd(Ed Edd n Eddy) said
"You too." Ash smiled
"Anyway, girls, you gotta help us, we're in a real pickle!" Eddy exclaimed
"Why, what happened?" Blossom said
"We had this big scam which caused a terrible massive accident, everyone in the Cul-De-Sac is out to get us & punish us severely!" Eddy said
"Eddy, I told you this was a bad idea." Edd scolded
"Then why didn't you stop me, sock head!?" Eddy argued
"I tried to! But you don't listen to anybody but yourself!" Edd said
"Well you could've used the big lunk to drag me away!" Eddy said as they started arguing
"Ugh! There they go again." Marie groaned
"We're doomed, I tell you! Doomed!" Ed sobbed as Bubbles & May comforted him
"Alright alright, break it up, both of you!" Lee scolded as they stopped
"Arguing is not gonna solve anything." Blossom said "Eddy, what is it you want us to help you with?"
"Oh yeah, since the kids are coming after us, I was hoping you along with Bubbles & Buttercup will take care of them?" Eddy said with an innocent smile
"Are you saying you want us to beat them up?" Blossom said with a raised eyebrow
"No no, we don't want anyone getting hurt, you know just scare them." Eddy said
"Eddy, that is not gonna solve your problem." Blossom said
"Yeah, we use our powers for action not threats." Bubbles said
"Oh come on!" Eddy complained
"Well Eddy, you have any other options?" Edd said
"Don't worry, sockhead, I have a Plan B, we can head over to my bro's place." Eddy smirked
"Eddy, I highly doubt your brother will offer us sanctuary." Edd said
"Yeah dude, from what you told us he sounds like a real jerk." Buttercup said
"Oh for the love of–!" Eddy said irritably "Ash, what do you suggest?"
"Well uh, you could go on a Pokémon Journey to get away from here." Ash said "if you travel on a Pokémon Journey, I'm sure it will give the other kids time to cool down."
"That's what we told them!" Lee said
"I actually agree with Ash, I mean Blossom, Bubbles, & Buttercup are going on a journey, so why can't we." Edd said
"I always wanted to go on a Pokémon Journey." Ed said excitedly
"What good would that do? You think we should just run away & let those suckers think that they're chasing us out of town, that's just what they want!" Eddy said
"Well, it's better than staying here & letting them find you." Marie said
"Yeah, we even packed your bags & everything for your Pokémon Journey." May said
"Still, I don't know, I mean I've never won a Pokémon Battle, I'm not even that good." Eddy said
"Don't say that, if there's anything you want to help with your Pokémon, I can help you out." Ash said
"Well, there is one, I was wondering if you could teach one of my Pokémon a new move." Eddy said
"Alright, but first what's the plan for us to get you guys out of here." Ash said
"I got just the thing." Lee said as she pulled out a map "Here's the plan: first we have to wake up early in the morning so we can head to the docks in Route 25. There is a ship called the S.S. LAD, that will be boarding there tomorrow & it will take us to Mutant City."
"& That's where the next Contest is gonna be." Bubbles said
"Doesn't this town have a Contest?" Ash asked
"It does but it doesn't start for a while, you'll have to come back much later." Marie said
"Don't we need tickets for the S.S. LAD?" Edd said
"Won't need those, it's free for Trainers, all you gotta do is show them your Trainer License & you're in." Lee said
"Awesome, I love free stuff." Eddy said
"First we need to get our Trainer Licenses first." Edd said
"We already got ya covered." Buttercup said as she pulled out a parcel
The Eds & Kankers opened the parcel which revealed six different coloredRoom Phones. Ed got a green one, Edd got a red one, Eddy got a yellow one, Lee got a white one with red polkadots, Marie got a blue one, & May got a white one.
"Spear! Spear!" Spearow cawed in alert
"Sounds like Spearow spotted something." Ash said as Lee peeked through the window
"Crap, it's them." Lee said
"Oh dear." Edd said worriedly
"Great, now they know we're here." Eddy said frustratingly
"All of you stay here, I'll take care of them." Lee said
"Wait, Lee, let me take care of them." Ash said
"Are you sure about that?" Lee asked
"Yeah, maybe I can try to reason with them." Ash said
"Ash, they're too angry to reason with, it's not gonna work." Eddy said
"It's worth a try." Ash said as he left
Ash exited the house & saw 6 kids outside. The first kid was a boy wearing a red baseball hat, a lime green longsleeved shirt & black shorts & shoes. The second kid was a tall tan-skinned boy with blue hair wearing a yellow t-shirt with a red horizontal stripe, light blue jeans, & red & cream shoes. The third kid was a girl wearing black T-shirt, a white tank top over it, blue/purple jeans, & black shoes with white soles. The fourth kid was a dark-skinned boy wearing a white T-shirt, dark blue jeans, & black sandals, he was holding a Bonsly. The fifth kid was a little girl with ginger hair wearing a pink tank top, blue jeans, hot pink shoes, & white earrings. The last kid was a cyan colored sweater, white pants, black belt, dark brown shoes with black soles, he was also wearing a brace ring around his mouth.
"May I help you?" Ash said
"Oh, it's you, the guy who won the Seashore Contest." The first boy said
"Yes, I'm Ash Tajiri, who are you?" Ash said
"I'm Kevin, & this is Rolf, Nazz, Jonny, Sarah, & Jimmy." Kevin(Ed Edd n Eddy) said "Anyway, have you seen a few dorks around."
"No, I haven't." Ash lied
"…you know, something tells me that you're lying." Kevin narrowed his eyes
"What makes you think I'm lying?" Ash said
"One reason is that Spearow is no doubt yours & it made a sound to bring you out here." Kevin said
"Yeah, I was checking out this house until you came along, I sent out my Spearow for some fresh air, he does that when someone goes near to where I am." Ash said
"Rolf senses lie in that sentence!" Rolf(Ed Edd n Eddy) shouted
"Look dude, just tell us the truth." Nazz(Ed Edd n Eddy) said
"What's your deal anyway, why are you so worked up in finding these people who you call dorks?" Ash said "What did they do?"
"What did they do? Take a good look at us!" Jonny(Ed Edd n Eddy) exclaimed as he, Rolf, Nazz, & Kevin were badly injured "Because of those greedy crooks, they almost put us in a severe condition, right Plank?"
"Bonsly! Bonsly!" the Bonsly named Plank sakd
"No doubt, those dorks are hiding in that house." Kevin said "Come out, you dorks!"
"Ed! You better come out of there or I'm telling Mom!" Sarah(Ed Edd n Eddy) yelled
"Stop it, all of you, I'm sure they never meant any harm & it was just an accident." Ash said
"Accident Rolf's foot, we will not rest until the Ed Boys face justice!" Rolf said angrily
"Listen, I understand that all of you are mad, but you're not thinking straight." Ash said "Hurting them for an accident they never meant to cause is not the way to solve things, so how about we all just calm down & think about it before you act, then we can talk about what happened."
"Been there, done that, man." Kevin said "If you don't like what we're gonna do, then get out of our way."
"No, I told you before that does not solve things." Ash said
"Alright, then how about a battle, you & me, if I win you give those dorks to us & if you win we'll go." Kevin said
"Okay fine." Ash sighed
"Go Varoom!" Kevin said as he sent out a metallic motor-like Pokémon with yellow eyes & a rock-like bottom along with rock-like wheels
"Va-Va-Varoom!" The Pokémon said
"Who's that Pokémon?" Ash said curiously as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Varoom, the Single-Cyl Pokémon, a Steel & Poison Type. The steel section is Varoom's actual body. This Pokémon clings to rocks and converts the minerals within into energy to fuel its activities.
"A Steel & Poison Type, I got just the Pokémon." Ash thought before saying "Sandshrew, I choose you!"
Ash sent out his Sandshrew
"Sandshrew!" Sandshrew said
"Ha! You honestly believe that pipsqueak is gonna beat my Varoom?" Kevin said arrogantly
"First of all, don't insult my Pokémon." Ash glared "Secondly, don't underestimate Sandshrew, this is our first battle & I've been training him since the day I caught him."
"Shrew." Sandshrew nodded in agreement
"Hm, we'll see about that." Kevin smirked "Varoom, use Take Down!"
"Varoom!" Varoom said as it was surrounded in a golden force field & charged at Sandshrew
"Sandshrew, use Mud Shot on the ground." Ash said
"Sandshrew!" Sandshrew said as he formed a golden sphere of energy from his hand which splits into several balls of mud before firing them on the ground
"Varoom!?" Varoom said as it slipped on the mud & started spinning before crashing into a tree
"Now, use Bulldoze." Ash said
"Shrew!" Sandshrew said as he punched the ground sending out a series of yellow shockwaves on the ground & hit Varoom
"Varoom, what are you doing!?" Kevin called out "Use Poison Gas!"
"Room!" Varoom said as it released purple gas from its mouth part
"Blow it away with Rapid Spin." Ash said as Sandshrew curled into a ball & spun releasing wind to blow away Poison Gas
"Grrr! Use Flash Cannon!" Kevin said irritatingly
"Varoom!" Varoom said as it fired a white & light blue beam of energy from its mouth part
"Dig." Ash said as Sandshrew dug underground & avoided the attack before coming out & uppercutted Varoom
"SANDSHREEEEEEEEEEEW!" Sandshrew yelled as it glowed bluish white & evolved into Sandslash
"Sandslash!" Sandslash said
"Alright Sandslash!" Ash smiled in determination as he scanned Sandslash

"Va-Va-Varoom!" Varoom said as it charged at Sandslash with Take Down

"Sandslash!" Sandslash said as he summoned a whirlwind of sand which surrounded & caught Varoom
"Now, let's finish this with Crush Claw." Ash said. Sandslash claws glow red & hit Varoom which caused it to faint
"What!?" Kevin exclaimed shockingly along with the other
"Good job, Sandslash." Ash praised as he pet Sandslash's head
"Slash." Sandslash smiled
"Take a good rest." Ash said as he returned Sandslash "Well, it appears you have lost, so that means you need to leave."
Ash turned to go back inside the house until his arm was grabbed, he looked back & saw Kevin
"Look man, deal or no deal, you're giving us those dorks no matter what." Kevin glared
"Let go of me, Kevin." Ash warned sternly
"No way, you better give them to us or I'm gonna—Hey, what the—!" Kevin exclaimed in alert as he was lifted up by the shirt
When everyone looked at Ash, he was surrounded dark aura & his eyes were red, then the dark aura spread above them which formed a circular mouthless face with red eyes
"I've TRIED to be civil with you, but you refused to listen to reason due to your anger, now you're gonna back out on your deal & threaten me!?" Ash said darkly
"Okay okay okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, we'll go if that's what you want, just don't hurt me!" Kevin said fearfully
"If I hear you did ANYTHING to them, I'll know & I'll find you, you got that?" Ash threatened
"Yeah, I got it, I definitely got it." Kevin nodded rapidly
"Good, now SCRAM!" Ash shouted as he tossed Kevin to the other kids
The kids ran away in fright as Ash calmed down & went back to normal.
"What did I expect for trying to talk things out with them." Ash said as he felt his Roto-Arc Phone vibrate & looked at it

"Thank you so much, our hero & savior!" Ed said happily as he hugged Ash
"Girls, you never told us he had powers." Edd said

"Guys, I…I'm sorry you had to witness that, I really tried to negotiate with them but they were too angry like Eddy said." Ash apologized shamefully
"Hey, don't beat yourself up over that, seeing you beat Kevin in a Pokémon Battle along with putting him in his place was the best thing I ever saw in my life." Eddy said
"What's more important is that you tried, we really appreciate you doing that in order to protect us." Edd said
"Yeah, besides those losers had it coming anyway for always messing with the boys." Marie said
"Mm-hm, that'll make them think twice before going after the Eds." May said
"I honestly don't think that will stop them." Blossom said
"Please, after what Ash just did, I'm sure they won't even dare to do anything." Buttercup said
"But still, we think the 3 of you should travel on a Pokémon Journey." Bubbles said
"Speaking of that, how many Pokémon do you each have?" Ash said
"Ed, Eddy, & I each have two Pokémon." Edd said
"Would it be alright if I saw them?" Ash asked
"Sure, let's introduce our Pokémon, guys." Ed said
Ed sent out a Slowpoke & a Trubbish, Edd sent out an Abra & a Beldum, & Eddy sent out a Meowth & a small blue-gray metallic Pokémon with yellow coin like eyes & antennas with yellow tip as it was in a red & gold chest
"What Pokémon is that, Eddy?" Ash asked
"This is Gimmighoul, he's a Pokémon from the Paldea Region." Eddy said
"Gimmighoul." Ash said as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Gimmighoul, the Coin Chest Pokémon, a Ghost Type, This Pokémon was born inside a treasure chest about 1,500 years ago. It sucks the life-force out of scoundrels who try to steal the treasure.
"Gimmighoul is the Pokémon I want to teach a new move." Eddy said
"What is that?" Ash said
"Shadow Ball." Eddy said
"Well, a few of my Pokémon know that move, so they'll be able to teach Gimmighoul Shadow Ball." Ash said "What attacks does it know?"
"Tackle, Astonish, Protect, Confuse Ray, & Night Shade." Eddy said
"That's a good moveset." Ash said "Kankers, do you have any Pokémon?"
"We do." Lee said
Lee sent out a Mawile, Marie sent out an Galarian Zigzagoon, & May sent out a Galarian Slowpoke
"Impressive." Ash said
"Let's introduce our Pokémon, girls." Blossom said
"Right." Bubbles & Buttercup said
Blossom sent out a Charmander, Babeaker, Gloom, Noctowl, Clefairy, & Baltoy. Bubbles sent out Popplio, Babeaker, Beautifly, Horsea, Whismur, & Female Nidoran. Buttercup sent out Chespin, Babeaker, Mankey, Makuhita, Krabby, & Poliwag.
"Those are amazing catches." Ash complimented
"Now it's your turn, Ash." Bubbles said
"Me? Well…alright but don't be alarmed or mad or anything." Ash said hesitantly
Ash used his Roto-Arc Phone to sent out all the Pokémon he currently has with them out of their Poké Balls which shocked & stunned everyone
"Good heavens, how are you able to store this much Pokémon?" Edd said
"I—." Ash said
"Do you have the Pokémon Limiter app?" Blossom said
"Wait, how'd you know that?" Ash said
"Trainers are permitted to have this app to limit how many Pokémon they wanna keep with them for occasions." Blossom said
"Oh, well I actually received special access to this app from a special someone due to good things I did before I came to Townsville City." Ash said
"That pretty much explains it." Buttercup shrugged
"Whoa, look at all these, you're so lucky." Eddy said impressively
"Oh my goodness, is that a female Delta Bulbasaur!?" Edd said excitedly "You mind if I take a look at her"
"Not at all." Ash said as Edd picked up Crystal in his arms
"Bulba Bulba!" Crystal said as he licked Edd's face
"Oh, aren't you a sweet little dear." Edd said "What's your name?"
"Her name is Crystal." Ash said
"That's a fitting name." Edd said
"Guys, I'm getting hungry." Ed said
"Me too." May said
"I can cook us something." Ash said
"Wait, you can cook?" Eddy said
"Anyone can cook, Eddy, even men can cook." Edd said "I can assist in helping you with cook."
"So can I." Bubbles said
"Great, Lee, does the kitchen still work?" Ash said
"You'd be surprised that it still does after many years." Lee said
Later, while they were eating
"Okay, since the three are going on a journey, what are your goals?" Ash said
"I already know what mine is, I'm aiming to be a Pokémon Researcher just like Blossom." Edd said
"I wanna be a Pokémon Breeder." Ed said
"What about you, Eddy?" Ash asked
"I don't really know, but I'll think about it." Eddy said
"Kankers, I assume you're going with them?" Ash said
"Of course we are, we're their bodyguards, we have to make sure they're safe in case those brats follow them." Lee said
"I see." Ash said "Hey Blossom, I saw your Dad at Seashore Kingdom, he told me that you were made from the chemicals of a Babeaker."
"That's right, that's how we got our powers." Blossom said "We have super strength, super speed, laser eyes, flight, & each of us has our own special powers."
"What are your powers, dude?" Buttercup said
"I can talk to Pokémon." Ash said much to everyone's surprise
"Oh my gosh, me too!" Bubbles said excitedly "You're the second person I know who can talk to Pokémon like I can."
"Then that means you have met Melody." Ash said
"I have, she's a very sweet girl." Bubbles said "But she can only talk to Water Pokémon."
"What else you got?" Buttercup said
"I have aura powers & psychic powers." Ash said
"Whoa, you're supernatural!" May said
"What about those dark powers you did recently, was that a new one?" Ed asked
"Not exactly, it was the second time that happened, they only appear when I'm angry." Ash said
"Remind me never to make you mad." Eddy said
"Ash, do you still have my Babeaker's feather?" Bubbles said
"I do, right here." Ash said as he pulled out the feather
"May I borrow it for a little while." Bubbles said
"Sure." Ash said as he gave her the feather "Also, another power I have, it's not exactly a power, but I can catch Heartless."
"You catch Heartless? You're pulling our legs." Eddy said
"No really, I caught one back in Mt. Moon." Ash said
"I'll believe that when I see it." Lee said
"Ash, do you have any evidence that you have caught a Heartless?" Edd said
"Yeah, I have a picture on my phone, look." Ash said as he showed a picture of himself with Shadow
"Wow, he really does have a Heartless." Ed said
"Yeah, but Heartless' eyes are yellow, this one has blue eyes." Marie said
"It may have been infused with my aura." Ash said
"Where's your Heartless now?" Bubbles said
"With Professor Utonium, he's doing research on how I was able to catch a Heartless." Ash said "Ed, that girl Sarah, is she your sister?"
"Yes she is." Ed said
"& A little snitch too." Eddy said "But she's no worse than my brother, Double D's lucky to be an only child."
"Do you have any brothers & sisters?" Ed asked
"No, I'm an only child." Ash said
"Trust me, kid, you don't want any since they're a total pain." Lee said
"Okay." Ash said "Eddy, after we teach Gimmighoul Shadow Ball, how about a battle?"
"Alright, does this house even have a training room?" Eddy said
"It sure does along with a battlefield, right at the bottom." Lee said
After they ate, they went to the training room & battlefield to train their Pokémon. Thanks to Eevee, Gastly, & Mime Jr, Gimmighoul successfully learned Shadow Ball. A moment later after that, Ash & Eddy were on the battlefield.
"You ready, Eddy?" Ash said
"You bet, Go Gimmighoul!" Eddy said as he sent out Gimmighoul
"Gimmighoul!" Gimmighoul said
"Gastly, I choose you!" Ash said as he sent out Gastly
"Gastly." Gastly said
"Battle begin!" Edd said

"Gastly!" Gastly said as he fired a dark crimson beam from his eyes & hit Gimmighoul
"Gimmighoul, use Astonish." Eddy said
"Ghoul!" Gimmighoul said as it sent a a blue & pink shockwave & hit Gastly
"Gas!" Gastly flinched
"Perfect, it's flinching, now use Shadow Ball!" Eddy said. Gimmighoul fired a black & purple ball of shadow energy & hit Gastly
"Use Payback." Ash said
"Gastly!" Gastly said as he unleashed a burst of purple energy which hit Gimmighoul
"Use Night Shade." Eddy said as Gimmighoul fired a dark crimson beam from its silver buckle
"Dodge & use Lick." Ash said as Gastly dodged the attack & charged at Gimmighoul with it's tongue sticking out
"Catch it!" Eddy said as Gimmighoul closed it's chest door & caught Gastly by his tongue
"Ah!/Gas!?" Ash gasped shockingly
"Gotcha, now Confuse Ray." Eddy said as multiple purple balls of energy formed around Gimmighoul & hit Gastly
"Alright, Shadow Ball." Eddy said as Gimmighoul hit Gastly with Shadow Ball
"Now, use Tackle."
Gimmighoul charged at Gastly, but it went right through him
"What the–!?" Eddy said confusingly
"Eddy, Normal Type Attacks don't work on Ghost Types." Edd called out
"Shoot!" Eddy facepalmed
"Gastly?" Gastly snapped out of it's confusion
"Gastly, use Sludge Bomb." Ash said as Gastly fired multiple brown sludge projectiles from his mouth
"Use Protect." Eddy said
"Gimmighoul!" Gimmighoul summoned a turquoise forcefield
"Use Smog." Ash said as Gastly released smog from his body which covered the battlefield
"Now, use Will-O-Wisp."
Gastly became outlined in orange energy as light purple & pink fireball appeared around it & launched them at the Smog which caused an explosion
"Gimmighoul!" Eddy shouted
The smoke cleared revealing the chest with coins in them, but no Gimmighoul
"Where'd it go?" Ash said
"Gimmighoul, where are you?" Eddy called out
"Gimmighoul!" A voice said
Everyone looked up & saw Gimmighoul hanging onto a chandelier as it had one of its coins on its back
"Gimmighoul is out of its chest." May said surprisingly
"That's its Roaming Form." Blossom said
"Hey, I didn't know you could do that." Eddy said as Gimmighoul swung down from the chandelier & landed on the ground
"Gastly, use Will-O-Wisp again." Ash said as Gastly fired Will-O-Wisp
"Gimmi! Ghoul! Gimmi!" Gimmighoul said as it dodged the fireballs at fast speed
"Look how fast it's going." Lee said
"That's because Gimmighoul's Roaming Form is faster than it's Chest Form, not only that it's Chest Form's ability is Rattled so its speed increases by getting hit by Ghost, Dark, & Bug Type attacks. Also it's Roaming Form's Ability is Run Away, which means once Run Away Ability mixes with the speed from the Rattled Ability, it can be a problem." Blossom said
"Gimmighoul, Night Shade." Eddy said as Gimmighoul fired Night Shade from the coin on its back
"You too, Gastly." Ash said as Gastly fired Night Shade which collided with the same attack which caused an explosion
"Gimmi!" Gimmighoul said as it appeared in front of Gastly
"Let's finish this with Shadow Ball." Eddy said as Gimmighoul hit Gastly with Shadow Ball which caused it to faint
"Gastly is unable to battle, Gimmighoul wins!" Edd declared
"We did it, Gimmighoul, we finally won a battle." Eddy said joyfully
"Gimmighoul! Gimmi!" Gimmighoul said happily as it jumped into Eddy's hand
"Congratulations Eddy!" Ed cheered
"That's my guy." Lee smiled
"You were great, Gastly, take a good long rest." Ash said as he returned Gastly
"Yo Ash, thanks for the battle, it was a blast." Eddy said as he shook Ash's hand
"That's what battling is about, Eddy: having fun." Ash smiled
"Yeah, but don't take the loss hard, dude, a good thing actually came out of this." Eddy said
"How's that?" Ash asked
"Ever since you beat Kevin, you inspired me to become stronger with my Pokémon, & now that I won a battle against you, I'm not hesitant to go on a journey anymore." Eddy said
"That's the spirit, no doubt you're gonna be a terrific Pokémon Trainer." Ash said
"Better keep that one, girls, he's a keeper." Lee whispered to the Powerpuff girls who blushed
"Pardon me, Ash, but your hand is glowing." Edd said
"Oh, that must be my PokéGauntlet." Ash said as he summoned it before one of the eggs came out "My Egg is starting to hatch."
"Ooh, goody, I always wanted to see a Pokémon Egg hatch." Ed said excitedly
Everyone watched closely as the Pokémon Egg cracked & glowed in a bright light, when the light faded, it revealed to be Larvitar
"Lar Lar!" Larvitar said
"Oh cool, it's a Larvitar." Buttercup said
"Larvitar." Larvitar said as it hugged Ash's leg
"Aww, it definitely knows who its daddy is." Bubbles said as Ash pet Larvitar
"Welcome back, Larvitar." Ash thought as he pulled out a Dusk Ball & caught Larvitar

"Sorry, you had to be regressed into a Egg, Larvitar." Ash said
"Hey, at least I didn't get kicked & tossed around like back in our old world, so it was decent." Larvitar said
"I forgot to ask you, does your mom & Ranger Mason believe I was innocent?" Ash said
"Yes, as a matter of fact, they sent me to help you out before I met Haunter & Ambipom." Larvitar said
"Okay good." Ash said
"So what's up, what's new?" Larvitar said
"Well, for starters, I caught quite a lot of Pokémon." Ash said "Also, not only did I sign up for the Kanto League, but I signed up for the Kanto Contest Circuit."
"Whoa, really?" Larvitar said amazingly
"Yep, check it out." Ash said as he showed Larvitar his Ribbon & Badges.
"That's really neat, are you gonna use me for the next Gym?" Larvitar said
"Well, I already know that the next Gym uses Electric Types, since you're part Ground Type, so yes." Ash said "But I'm gonna have to put you through some training to get prepared."
*Knock**Knock*
"Come in." Ash said as the Powerpuff Girls entered
"Hey Ash, spending your first moments with your new Larvitar?" Blossom said
"I certainly am." Ash said "Girls, Professor Utonium told me that you didn't have it easy at first since you had powers."
"Tell me about it! It was a freaking DISASTER!" Buttercup exclaimed in outrage
"What happened?" Ash said in concern
"On our first day of school, we were playing tag & we got carried away with our powers, we caused a wreck to the whole city." Blossom said
"Yeah, after that, everyone shunned & hated us, what's worse is that Professor got arrested for our creation." Bubbles said sadly "They even called us freaks."
Ash was shocked, when he heard the word 'freak', it reminded him of how Delia reacted when she found out he had powers
"After he was arrested, we were all alone, that was until we met him." Buttercup said
"Who?" Ash said
"He's a Pokémon that goes by the nickname Mojo Jojo, he tricked & used us for his evil purpose to take over Townsville City & we didn't even know it." Blossom said "When Professor got out of jail, we went to show him only to find out the truth."
"It made the citizens hate us more, we tried to tell Professor we didn't want that, but the words he spoke were 'I don't know who to believe, I thought you were good'" Bubbles said tearfully
"Those words made us banish ourselves to space, Blossom & I had blamed each other for it while Bubbles was balling her eyes out." Buttercup said "Then we started hearing their screams, we tried to ignore it due to how they treated us, but then we heard the Professor & we came back."
"Oh…" Ash said lowly
"We used our powers to fight back Mojo & his army until we defeated them & saved Townsville City." Blossom said "After that, we gained the apologies & respect of the citizens including Professor Utonium, that's when we became superheroes known as the Powerpuff Girls."
"That sounds like you guys have been through a lot." Ash said
"It was, it really hurt us to be mistreated for something you were unable to take control of, you know how that feels?" Blossom said
"…I do, but…my story about my powers is different from yours." Ash looked away
"How come?" Buttercup asked
"Well, I never hurt anyone with my powers." Ash said "When I was little, I discovered my psychic & Pokémon talking powers, I told my Mom about it but she denied it saying I was just imagining things. But that's not the worst part, she hired a seal master to seal away my powers."
The Powerpuff Girls gasped at that
"You're kidding, right?" Buttercup said
"It's true, I didn't even know about it until it was revealed to me. Ever since my powers were sealed, I tried using them only to find out nothing happened, I was confused & I was really upset that I thought she was right about me imagining things. I hadn't used my powers in YEARS & I never got a chance to use them again, except Aura powers that were too strong to be sealed away." Ash said
"Why would your mom do that?" Bubbles said
"Because she only wanted to raise a normal child, & she didn't want to raise a freak." Ash said to the girls shock "The same word that the citizens called you for that incident, except that I never hurt ANYONE or destroyed ANYTHING with my powers, she just took one good look & called me a freak behind my back."
"Oh Ash, we're so sorry." Bubbles said sympathetically
"It's fine, you were lucky that the Professor thought of you as special due to your powers, but why couldn't she do that?" Ash said he clenched his fists & shut his eyes tightly "Why didn't she believe that I was special like you girls, why couldn't she feel lucky to have a child with powers."
The Powerpuff Girls said nothing as they hugged him in comfort
"It's okay, Ash, but you're wrong about one thing." Blossom said
"What." Ash said lowly
"Professor didn't think of us as special because of our powers, he thought of us as special because of our personalities, & that's the same thing why we think of you as special." Blossom said
"That's right, everyone is special in their very own way, including you." Bubbles said "Because we like you for being you."
"Yep, don't listen to what others say about you, because they don't know you for the person you are, believe that." Buttercup said "Never stop being yourself."
"Thanks girls, I appreciate that." Ash smiled
"No problem, it's what friends are for." Blossom smiled back
At night, Ash's Zubat had taken Spearow's place since she was nocturnal, right now everyone was sleeping until they heard a sound
"Chaaaaaaaaar." A voice said
"Huh?" Ash woke up along with everyone
"Did you guys hear something?" Eddy said
"Chaaaaaaaaar." A voice said
"I think it may be gh-gh-ghost." Ed said fearfully
"We should go check it out." Ash said
Everyone followed the sound to the room where they trained & battled with their Pokémon, when they entered the room, they saw a purple flame with a smiling face
"Eek! It is a ghost!" Bubbles exclaimed in fright
"Hold on a second, turn on the light." Ash said
Lee turned on the light to reveal a skeleton-like Charmander with the purple smiling face flame at the end of its tail
"Holy Toledo, it's a Delta Charmander." Edd said surprisingly
"Delta Charmander." Ash repeated as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone
Delta Charmander, the Bone Lizard Pokémon, a Ghost & Dragon Type. While the flame on its tail does not appear immediately after its birth, it burns more fiercely with age
"A Ghost & Dragon type, cool." Ash said
"That must be what's making the noise." Lee said
"Hey, do you notice something different about it?" Marie said
"Huh?!" Ash looked at the Delta Charmander as it had yellow eyes & a familiar symbol on its forehead "Oh no."
"Oh no? What do you mean 'Oh no?'" Eddy said
"Guys, that Delta Charmander is possessed by the Heartless." Ash said
"CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!" Delta Charmander said as a group of Heartless appeared
Ash recognize the rest a Shadows, but he noticed that some of the Heartless looked knight-like & scanned them
Soldier, the Knight Pokémon, a Dark & Steel Type. A swift-moving Heartless that attacks its prey with a spin kick. Its whimsical nature makes it a less than tenacious foe.
"I guess we have no choice but to fight." Blossom said
"Finally, some action." Buttercup smiled in determination
"Alright, remember Psychic Type moves don't work against Dark Types & Poison Type moves don't on Steel Types." Ash said "Do any of you have any weapons?"
"Me & my sisters' feet & fists." Lee said
"Then here." Ash said as he gave a Halberdrill to Lee, Sandslashers to Marie, & a couple of Pikassen's to May "Do you know how to use weapons like those?"
"Are you kidding, of course we do." Lee said
"Eds?" Ash said
"I have my yo-yos." Eddy said
"I have my slingshot & handmade lightsaber." Edd said
"I don't know, I've never been in a fight." Ed said reluctantly
"Let me stop you right there, lumpy." Eddy said as he pulled out a slipper & a rock
Eddy put the rock in the slipper before putting it on Ed's foot who made an angry face
"Let's squash these bugs!" Ed shouted
"Let's go!" Ash said as he summoned his Eeveerstaff & charged along with the others
After sending out their Pokémon, The fight began, the Powerpuff Girls fought the heartless by punching, kicking, & using their powers on them.
"Hey Heartless, screw you!" Lee said as she spun the Halberdrill rapidly & drilled through a few heartless which caused them to disperse
Marie was surround by a few Heartless as they pounced at her, but she used the Sandslashers to dug underground to escaped as they crashed into each other
"Surprise!" Marie said as she popped out of the ground & uppercutted them sending them back before dispersing
Eddy used his yo-yos to wrap up a few heartless
"Hey Powerpuffs, heads up!" Eddy said as he threw the Heartless in the air before the Powerpuff Girls shot their eye beams at them which caused them to disperse
Ed was clobbering the Heartless as it took one to few hits to get them defeated due to his brute strength. He grabbed May by the legs & spun at fast speed as they were both surrounded by yellow electricity due to the Pikassens before hitting some of the Heartless. Then Ed tossed May into the air as she was still spinning while shooting bolts of electricity at the Heartless causing their defeat
A few Heartless were firing Shadow Balls as Edd was cutting them in half while Ash was deflecting them with his Eeveerstaff. The Heartless pounced at them, but Ash sent them away with a strike before Edd parkour over Ash & cut them in half causing them to disperse
A moment later after fighting the Heartless
"Is that all of them?" Eddy said
"No, we got one more Soldier along with the Delta Charmander." Blossom said
"I'll take care of them." Ash said "Rattata, Mankey, I choose you!"
"Mankey!/Rat!" Rattata & Mankey said
"Shadow Ball!" Delta Charmander said as it fired black & purple ball of shadow energy at Mankey
"Rattata, protect Mankey." Ash said as Rattata got in front of Mankey & got hit by the Shadow Ball which had no effect
"Now, use your own Shadow Ball." Ash said. Rattata fired a black & purple ball of shadow energy & hit Delta Charmander
"Metal Claw!" Soldier said as his claw became surrounded in metallic claw-shaped aura & charged
"Mankey, use Counter." Ash said
"Mankey!" Mankey said jumped over Rattata while glowing orange & kicked Soldier
"Flame Charge!" Delta Charmander said as he became surrounded in purple flames & charged at Rattata.
"Rattata, counter it with Flame Wheel, Mankey use Karate Chop on Soldier." Ash said
"Rattata!" Rattata said as released fire from his mouth while somersaulting at the same time & clashed with Delta Charmander
Mankey's hand & charged at Soldier
"Low Kick!" Soldier said as its leg glowed orange & kicked leg Mankey's causing him to trip on the ground
"Jump Kick!" Soldier said as it jumped above Mankey
"Get outta there!" Ash called out as Mankey dodged the attack
"Agh!" Soldier exclaimed as it clutched its leg in pain
"Twister!" Delta Charmander said as it spun & sent a tornado at Mankey & Rattata
"Get ready to dodge." Ash said
"Metal Sound." Soldiers said as it put its wrist shackles together releasing silver colored sound waves
"Rat!/Mankey!" Rattata & Mankey winced before being caught by Twister
"Dragon Breath!/Night Shade!" Delta Charmander said as they hit Rattata with Dragon Breath & Mankey with Night Shade
"Are you two okay?" Ash said
"Peachy keen!" Rattata said as he & Mankey stood up
"Let's keep going!" Mankey said
"That's the spirit!" Ash smiled
"RATATAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rattata yelled as he glowed bluish white & evolved into Raticate
"Raticate!" Raticate said as Ash scanned him

Learned Moves: Crunch & Swords Dance
"Alright Raticate use Crunch on Delta Charmander, & Mankey show that Soldier your Focus Punch." Ash said
Raticate created dark purple teeth-like aura & but Delta Charmander while Mankey's fist glowed orange & punched Soldier hard
"Now, go Heartless Ball & Shadow Ball!" Ash said as he tossed the Shadow Ball at Delta Charmander & Heartless Ball at Soldier before capturing both of them

"Great catches, Ash." Eddy said
"Now I really believe that you can catch Heartless." Lee said
"I'm assuming you're gonna name your Delta Charmander like you did with your Delta Bulbasaur." Edd said
"Yeah, & I'm gonna call him Phantom." Ash said
"Excellent choice for a nickname." Blossom said
"Okay, now that that's over, we can head back to bed." Lee said
"I agree, that was a real workout." Buttercup said
"You're telling me, I'm exhausted." Ed said after getting the rock out of his slipper
"Let's get some shut eye, we have a big day tomorrow." Ash said
The next early morning, Ash along with the Eds, Kankers, & Powerpuff Girls were staring at Peach Creek Town.
"Well, Eddy, this is it for us." Edd said
"Yeah…it's for the best though." Eddy said
"I hope things will calm down if we decide to go back." Ed said "What about our parents?"
"Don't worry, Ed, Double D had us leave a note at your house, we also left a note for our mom." Lee said "Hopefully, they'll be able to understand."
"That's enough talk for now, we better get to the St. LAD before the kids find out you skipped town." Ash said
"Right." The Eds nodded in agreement
There you go everyone, another chapter for the day, I hope all you Ed, Edd, N Eddy fans liked it. I know it may seem a bit out of character for the Kankers to act serious & be helping, but hey this is Fanfiction, we write whatever we want. For those who don't know, Edd's lightsaber is referenced in the space lever of the game Ed Edd N Eddy the Mis-Edventures & I know Eddy uses his wallet as a weapon like a Yo-Yo in the game, so I gave him real Yo-Yos.
