New Species

At night, Ash was in Route 24 sitting by the campfire with Pikachu, Eevee, Meowth, Riolu, Mime Jr, Spearow, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Omanyte, & Kabuto

"Nice night, isn't it?" Mime Jr. said

"Yep, beautiful." Pikachu said

"Mm-hm." Spearow nodded

"Heh?" Meowth said as he noticed something from afar behind Ash in the forest "What's that?"

"What's wrong, Meowth?" Ash said

"Look at that." Meowth pointed

Everyone looked & saw a pink sparkle from afar into the woods

"What is that thing?" Eevee said

"I don't know, but we should check it out." Ash said

Ash & his Pokémon went into the forest as the pink sparkle led then into a cave of pink crystals

"Wow, look at this, we hit the jackpot!" Meowth beamed

"This is all so beautiful." Eevee said in awe

"SAAAAAAAAAAUR!" A voice roared

"What was that?" Charmander said in alert

Everyone looked to see a pink face with purple eyes in the center of a big crystal

"Boo!" The face said

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" the Pokémon screamed in fright

"Hahahahahahahahahaha!" The face laughed

The face disappeared as a Bulbasaur came up from behind the crystal, but this Bulbasaur was different: it was pink with purple eye along with a deep blue bulb with pink spots & a purple crystal in the center, it also had a white flower behind its ear

"I got you guys good." The Pink Bulbasaur said

"That's not funny!" Squirtle glared as the Pink Bulbasaur noticed Ash's Bulbasaur

"Oh my gosh, are you what I think you are!?" The Pink Bulbasaur beamed as it approached

"Who? Me?" Ash's Bulbasaur said

"You are! I can't believe I'm meeting a regular Bulbasaur!" The Pink Bulbasaur said excitedly as it held his face "You look so cool!"

"Oh uh, thanks, hehe." Ash's Bulbasaur blushed

"Excuse me, but what kind of Bulbasaur are you?" Ash said

"I'm guessing this is the first time meeting a Pokémon like myself." The

Pink Bulbasaur "You see, I'm a Delta Bulbasaur."

"Delta Bulbasaur." Ash said as he pulled out his Roto-Arc Phone

Delta Bulbasaur, the Crystal Pokémon, a Fairy & Psychic Type. The crystal growing from its back uses its mental energy to grow.

"You're a Fairy & Psychic Type like me!?" Mime Jr. said surprisingly

"Yeah." Delta Bulbasaur nodded

"What's with the Delta in your name?" Meowth asked

"To be honest, I don't really know." Delta Bulbasaur said "As a matter of fact, none of us Delta Pokémon know what the Delta in our name means."

"Delta Pokémon, you mean there are others like you?" Ash said

"Of course there are." Delta Bulbasaur said

"So, are there any others living here in this cave besides you?" Ash asked

"I'm afraid not, it's just me." Delta Bulbasaur said

"Ain't ya got any folks or friends living here with ya?" Spearow asked

"None whatsoever." Delta Bulbasaur said

"Then how about you come along with us?" Ash said

"Really?" Delta Bulbasaur smiled brightly

"Sure, no one wants to stay cooped up in this cave forever, so what do you say?" Ash said

"I'd love to!" Delta Bulbasaur said happily

"Alright, Go Heal Ball!" Ash said as he threw a Heal Ball & caught Delta Bulbasaur

Known Moves: Tackle, Baby-Doll Eyes, Confusion, Fairy Wind, Leech Seed, Hypnosis, Psybeam, Disarming Voice, & Shock Wave

"Not bad, come on out!" Ash said as he sent out Delta Bulbasaur

"Bulba!" Delta Bulbasaur said

"Hey Ash, maybe Professor Utonium knows something about Delta Pokémon." Pikachu said

"That's exactly what I'm thinking, I'll give him a call." Ash said as he called Utonium through FaceTime

"Hello there, Ash, how can I help you?" Utonium said

"Professor, you're not gonna believe what I just caught." Ash said as he showed Delta Bulbasaur

"Jumping Jahosafats! Is that a Delta Bulbasaur?!" Unionium said shockingly

"It is, I was wondering if you know something about Delta Pokémon." Ash said "What exactly does Delta mean in its name."

"Well, you see, the word 'Delta' is actually a symbol from the Grecian Aphabet which is the letter 'D'. The definition of Delta is a difference between two things or values; a change or set of changes made to a file or program, especially as part of an update to a later version." Utonium said as he showed the symbol

"So that's what that means, but where do Delta Pokémon come from?" Ash said

"Delta Pokémon originated from the Holon Region, they were created through experiments by a cult called The Perfection." Utonium said

"You mean they were experimented from their original forms to their Delta forms?" Ash said

"Yes, the Perfection studied Delta Pokémon as a part of their goal to obtain the perfect Pokémon, since they believed Delta Pokémon to be stronger than their regular counterparts." Utonium said

"I don't believe that, Original or Delta, they're equally strong." Ash said

"I agree with you, thankfully the Perfection was taken down." Utonium said "Delta Pokémon are very rare, but surprisingly we see them often due to their reproduction which led them to spread throughout the regions."

"Wow, that's amazing, Professor." Ash said "Hey, have you found anything about Shadow yet?"

"Not yet, but I'm getting close, I'll call you if I find something." Utonium said

"Okay, Goodnight Professor." Ash said

"Sleep well, Ash." Utonium said as he hung up

"What do you think, Delta Bulbasaur?" Ash said

"Geez, that is a lot to take in, & I never knew." Delta Bulbasaur said speechlessly

"I'm guessing the reason you didn't know is because you were born a Delta Pokémon." Pikachu said

"That's right, & no one ever told me, not even my parents." Delta Bulbasaur said

"We're sorry to hear that." Eevee said "Hey Ash, I think you should give Delta Bulbasaur a nickname, we can't keep calling her Delta Bulbasaur."

"I never nicknamed my Pokémon before." Ash said

"What do you mean, you nicknamed Mime Jr. back in our old world." Pikachu said

"No, that was Delia who gave her that nickname." Ash said

"Ash, nicknaming Pokémon is easy, just take a good look at her & say the first thing that comes to mind." Pikachu said

"Hmm." Ash wondered while looking at Delta Bulbasaur "This is gonna be an obvious nickname that I have in mind, but I think I'm to name you Crystal."

"I knew he was gonna choose that name." Spearow said

"How does the name Crystal sound?" Eevee said to Delta Bulbasaur

"I love it, it's a beautiful name." Crystal said with joy

"Alright then, Crystal it is." Ash smiled

"Meowth, what are you doing over there?" Mime Jr. said as Meowth was putting crystals in a sack

"I'm taking all this dough with me, we're gonna be filthy stinking rich!" Meowth said

"Meowth, that's—." Ash said

"It's okay, you can take as many as you want." Crystal insisted

"Alright then." Ash said as his Roto-Arc Phone vibrate before he looked at it "Guys, I got two trade offers right now: A Delta Lotad & Delta Seedot."

"& Right after we learned about Delta Pokémon." Squirtle said

Ash accepted the trade & a moment later, a Net Ball & Insulate Ball appeared in his hand

"Come on out!" Ash said as he sent out Delta Lotad & Delta Seedot

The Delta Seedot resembled a light bulb with a metallic cap along with yellow eyes. Delta Lotad had black fur, yellow eyes, along with a blue wizard hat on its head.

"Seedot/Lotad." The Delta Pokémon said as Ash scanned them

Delta Seedot, the Lightbulb Pokémon,an Electric Type. Its face flashes at varying frequencies depending on its mood at times.

Delta Lotad, the Magician Pokémon, a Psychic & Water Type. It is known to entertain small Pokémon by performing magic tricks for them.

Delta Seedot

Gender: Male

Ability: Volt Absorb

Known Moves: Bide, Flash, Charge, Charge Beam, Electric Terrain, Barrier, & Dazzling Gleam

Delta Lotad

Gender: Male

Ability: Magic Bounce

Known Moves: Confusion, Telekinesis, Psywave, Water Gun, Role Play, Psybeam & Water Pulse

"Awesome, I'm gonna call you two, Wizard & Spark." Ash said

"Not bad, you're really good at giving out nicknames." Pikachu said

"Thanks, I'm gonna bring them with me on my journey for another time, no doubt Professor wants to study Delta Pokémon." Ash said

Ash had sent Wizard & Spark to Utonium's lab as Meowth got finished stuffing a big bag full of crystals which Ash put into his PokéGauntlet. Then they head back to camp, amazed at learning this Alternate World's new species of Pokémon

That's right everybody, Delta Pokémon from the fanmade game Pokémon Insurgence exists in the Alternate World. I'm sure some of you who have heard of Pokémon Insurgence are excited about that. Stay tuned for the next chapter, Morph Out.
