Red Nightmare Worrying the Crew
The scene shows of outer space except every appears to be red for some reason and there are laser blasts firing from one direction, and that direction is at Hibiki and Jaune in their Vandread with Ruby and Dita.
"No way these guys are going to beat us. They're going to get what's coming to them." Hibiki believed they could beat the alien enemies.
"Let's try not to get cocky here, buddy. Something doesn't feel right." Jaune said, looking on guard but worried at the same time.
Unfortunately, Jaune was proven right when a strange red wave comes in the Vandreads and the other girls making them all feel uneasy and scared from the inside.
"Everyone, get ready. Something is coming." Cinder warned.
But despite being ready for whatever danger was heading their way, it wasn't enough as powerful red energy beams came at them blasting right through the arms of the Vandread damaging them severely as they scream in pain.
"What the fuck was that just now?" Jaune asked.
"Something that can hurt us, that's what." Pyrrha groaned, but then she sees the red lights coming at them again.
"Everyone! Look out!" Pyrrha screamed.
But the warning was pointless as the red light blasts shot at the other girls destroying their Dreads and ending their lives right before their eyes.
"NOOOOOO?!" Jaune screamed in rage.
"Hibiki! We have to make them pay!" Jaune said with angry tears coming down.
"You bet we are!" Hibiki agreed.
The two Vandreads ready themselves to fight with their main weapons, but they suddenly disintegrate into nothing from the red light, this left the boys in shock, and they were hit by the red energy beams giving them more pain to feel as their mechs get destroy.
"Nirvana, come in! We need immediate pick up!" Jaune tried to contact the ship, but there was no answer.
They turn to see that the red lights are attacking Nirvana destroying the mighty ship into nothing but space dust.
"No… Stop it." Hibiki started to feel anger rising from this.
"This can't be the end for us. It can't!" Jaune refused to believe this was going to be the end of the Nirvana crew, not after everything they had to go through.
"We can't let this be the end!" Jaune and Hibiki screamed in rage as the red light energy beam consumes them.
"Do not let this vision come to pass. You must come together as one to defeat the evil that plage our universe, let the light shines against the darkness." A woman's voice said before everything went white for the boys.
(Reality)
Jaune and Hibiki screamed as they woke up with the former falling face-first on the floor.
"Jaune, are you okay?" Hibiki asked.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Jaune panted.
"Hibiki, I had a really scary nightmare that everything was red and"
"And we all got destroyed by the enemies with those red beams of light." Hibiki said in Jaune's sentence shocking him.
"Yeah, exactly…" Jaune was shocked to hear that Hibiki has the exact same dream as him.
Jaune and Hibiki went to the hanging dock to find their Vanguards are still here and in one piece, but they still can't shake this uneasy feeling about the dream they just had.
"So, what do you think the fuck was that light about?" Hibiki asked.
"I don't know. It was so freaky… The worse part was that we died." Jaune felt spooked from all of that.
"Just like we have." Ruby said.
Jaune and Hibiki became shocked as they turn around to see all of their Vandread partners here in the hanger still wearing their pajamas, and they all look a little bit scared.
"What are you six doing here so early in the morning?" Hibiki asked.
"Because of what happened while we were sleeping." Cinder answered.
"It was trying to communicate with us, sending us a message. At least that's how it felt to me." Meia said.
Jaune and Hibiki's eyes widen with shock as they look at each other for a second then back at the girls.
"You girls really saw the same dream we had? In space, the Vandreads, and the red lights killing us?" Jaune asked.
"No! I was hoping you guys didn't have the same dream!" Ruby became scared upon knowing this now.
"That's spooky. I mean, how could we all have the same dream at the same time? It's really weird." Jura commented, feeling like she's about to get a headache from this.
"Perhaps it's because of the share connections we have, the things we've been experiencing ever since the changes with dreads and vanguards." Pyrrha stated.
"It's still weird. A dream like that." Jura said.
"What about woman's voice at the end, you all heard that too, right?" Cinder asked.
"Yeah, I heard her too! She said that we have to come together and defeat the evil!" Ruby remembered that part.
"Who do you think that woman was?" Pyrrha asked.
"I don't know, but she sounded like someone I knew from my past though it could have been just a coincidence." Cinder shrugged.
"I'm sorry, but I'm going back to bed. I'm getting a headache from just talking about it." Jura walked back to her room.
"Yeah, I think that's for the best." Jaune nodded.
"We'll have to talk about this later. For now, let just do our best when we wake up with the others." Jaune stated.
"Yeah, yeah." Hibiki sighed as everyone walks out of the hanger.
(Engine Room)
The boys and the girls weren't the only ones having a hard time in the early morning as the Paeksys is acting strangely that got the workers there to try figuring out what is going on here, and then Parfet comes in after being informed of this.
"How's it going?" Parfet asked.
"Not good. Output's decreasing and the numbers aren't stabilizing." One engineer answered.
"When did it start happening?" Parfet asked while looking at the data of the current output.
"About ten minutes ago." The engineer answered.
"This Paeksys system was the first one, the protype. I have no way of predicting what it's going to do." Parfet stated, this makes her a little mad that the Paeksys is working out of order or something like that.
"Jeez, you're a real troublemaker, you know that." Parfet yelled at the Paeksys a little.
(With Jaune and Hibiki)
"So, who do you think that woman was in the dream?" Jaune asked.
"How the fuck would I know? Not like that was important or anything." Hibiki said bluntly.
"But Hibiki, that woman told us that we all have to band together as one in order to defeat the enemy. That clearly means that she is not our enemy, at the very least." Jaune pointed out.
"I don't know, man. I can't exactly trust something if I don't see the face." Hibiki found the weird voice thing to be weird.
"Hey, Hibiki!" Dita called out to him as she runs up to the boys.
"Huh, what is it now, Dita? Why you follow us here?" Hibiki asked.
"I just wanted to know what kind of breakfast you would like; I think the chefs are really making something good for you to taste." Dita asked with her cute smile.
"Really now? I guess that all depends on what food they're serving, I'll have to see them myself." Hibiki grinned, with a little drool coming out.
"Of course, all you ever care about is food at a time like this." Jaune chuckled.
Dita comes in giving a lick on Hibiki's drool much to his shock.
"Hey! What did you go and do that for?" Hibiki asked with his cheeks blushing.
"Because I love you." Dita answered smiling.
"Not exactly what I meant." Hibiki exclaimed.
Unknown to them, Meia is watching the happy moment that is going on between Dita and Hibiki though felt a little jealous that she wants Hibiki to look her way too.
"(Damn, I'm really falling for him too, aren't I)" Meia thought asked herself.
"And so, another day begins. Dita chasing Hibiki." Paiway entered the scene writing this down in her notebook.
"I can't believe Dita would actually want to be close with a man. What a weirdo." Paiway said in her frog puppet.
"Actually, that is normal human behavior." Pyro said and suddenly hiccup.
"What are you doing? Interrupting a lady like that? How rude." Paiway pushed the little robot egg down, but she quickly realizes something just now. "Wait a minute, I just heard you hiccup, but you're a machine. You can't hiccup."
But Pyro suddenly hiccup again pushing Paiway off. It is very strange that a robot is suddenly getting hiccups like that and right now too, maybe there is something wrong with his systems.
(Meeting Room)
"Right now, we're approximately 90 days from Mejeiru in regard to Operation Harvest. Earth's plan to use our bodies as a source for new organs." BC said.
"I really hate those guys even more." Hibiki muttered to himself.
"We've sent all the information that we have both to our home planet Mejeir and to the men's planet Taraak." BC mentioned.
"Understood, but what happened to the communication pods we went before?" Mango asked, hoping they got to the planets first.
"There's no way to know for certain. They should have arrived by now. But we've had no reply from either Mejeir or Taraak." BC answered.
"Looks like we're getting the cold shoulder." Gascogne said.
"I didn't want to believe it at first, but I think when the pods arrived, the leaders might've gotten the message but chose to ignore them thinking that what we're facing has nothing to do with them." Jaune sighed with one hand on his face.
"That's bullshit, those idiots can't ignore what's going to happen to them." Hibiki hated how those leaders are being idiots.
"I agree with you, which is why I'm certain they won't be able to ignore the message we sent to them this time. Not after they find out that Earth's objective is to take our reproductive organs." Mango stated strongly.
"Well, if those leaders still choose to ignore us then they can get kill by the enemies for all I care." Hibiki huffed.
"Come on, I know you don't like them, but we have to show some humanity like saving them and all." Jaune said.
Just when Hibiki and Jaune were about to argue about letting those leaders die or not because of them being idiots, Parfet calls in.
"Parfet reporting." Parfet said with a worried expression.
"Anything wrong, Parfet?" Mango asked.
"I'm afraid so." Parfet answered exclaiming.
(Engine Room)
"The abnormality in the Paeksys is from this morning. I have no idea what's causing it. We're continuing the control procedure, but so far, it's not working." Parfet explained while the others are doing everything they can.
Nora is checking over every bolt and wire to see if they are still in their working order, and the worse part is they are, but the Paeksys is still not responding to anything they try.
"Fuck! The Paeksys really needs to give us a clue to know what the fuck is going on here?!" Nora was angered that there is nothing else she can do right now.
(Meeting Room)
"The readouts were getting show the output is down to 80% normal." Parfet informed.
"Oh no, this again…" Mango sighed, wondering how something like this could go wrong now.
"What do you think could be wrong?" Jaune asked.
"We could be experiencing residual rejection effects from when the female ship and the male ship fuse together." BC theorized.
"Yeah… I have no idea what you just said." Hibiki said.
"Guess it feels the same way we do. Men and women are so different, we'll be able to understand each other." Gascogne pointed out.
"Both sides may not be able to understand everything about each other, but there are some common grounds we can meet each other down the middle. As long as we keep meeting eye to eye then we can truly feel like we've been living with each other for a long time." Jaune believed in peace between men and women.
"You really have a good say in this, do you?" Gascogne smirked.
"Right, and if there are still some men and women that don't give a shit about our peace then that's their problem because those people are the ones who refuses move forward to the future." Hibiki pointed out.
"Glad to see you feel that way." Mango smiled.
"(Still, I really hope the leaders of the two planets will be reasonable.)" Jaune thought prayed.
(Men Room)
"Women are weird. From what I hear, they eat men's internal organs." Bart mentioned.
"Well, now they're our new friends and we're going on this big outer space travel throughout the galaxy to warn our people about the incoming alien invasion that are out to kill us for our insides." Sun pointed out.
"It's true, things have become rather interesting on this journey to home." Ren nodded while meditating.
"Like how you and Nora have been getting along so well?" Sun asked with a teasing smirk, causing Ren to blush.
"I know I have only been with you guys for a short time by now, but I am really grateful to you guys for taking us in after what happened to our fleet. Thank you." Marrow thanked.
"No problem, us survivors have to stick together." Sun smirked.
"Hey, what's that book you're reading? Any good?" Bart asked Duelo when noticing the doctor is occupied with a book, and a lot of other books with him.
Duelo heard the question and decided to give him a look at the door.
"I found it in the storage hold of the pioneer ship." Duelo answered and starts reading the book out loud.
"Babies begin when the sperm, which the father' speed, is accepted by the mother's egg, called an ovum. The two of them together form what is called a zygote, which gradually develops into"
"You're really interested in that stuff?" Bart asked, feeling really weirded out from having to hear all of that about how women and men make babies together.
"I'm suddenly feeling like I won't be able to sleep for a few days." Sun said.
"This reminds me of that talk my parents gave me about how babies are born." Marrow recalled.
"I find it fascinating." Duelo said.
"Of course, you would. Because you're the finest doctor in all of Taraak and you would always be curious about how the human body works." Ren smiled.
"Hey guys, we're back." Jaune announced as he and Hibiki entered.
(With Barnette, Harriet, and Neon)
Barnette just finished getting herself ready for a new day of protecting the ship, and that's when she stumbles upon a couple of women talking that she overheard their conversation.
"Things sure are different now, but I supposed you can get used to anything. Even men." One tall brown hair girl said.
"You're right. I mean, even eating meals with them doesn't bother us anymore." One short green hair girl found herself comfortable with the men here.
"We used to think they were so primitive. They were barely human." The tall brown hair girl stated of how it was back then.
"Then suddenly they tell us we're all from the same planet. And men and women both came from earth." The short green hair girl recalled learning about that.
"So, it must be normal for men and women to live under the same roof." The tall brown hair girl said.
"Yeah, that's how it was for me and the others back in our former fleet." Harriet said as she and the other two walk past them.
"Oh, this reminds me of the time how Marrow hosted that sleepover with both the men and women of our age. It was a lot of fun!" Neon remembered that time.
"I'm still getting myself use to having the men around, but even I have to admit that they don't annoy me as before. Especially with one of the leaders of the men group has already suit my own fancy." Barnette said as they leave the bathroom.
"It's Jaune, is it?" Harriet asked with a grin.
"Wha… How the fuck do you know that?" Barnette asked in shock. But she soon realizes that she just gave Harriet the answer with that question being a trap.

Things seem to be going smoothly for the crew of Nirvana as they are getting themselves ready for a new day, but the two main boys and their girls had a really strange nightmare mostly about the enemy killing them and this dream could also be a warning about what's to come very soon.
