Yokohama City contains a large China Town with hundreds of Chinese restaurants and shops, also the Cosmo Clock 21 in Cosmo Land. It's a great place for dates or hang out with friends. It's very beautiful at night with all the city lights.

On any normal night, citizens would walk around and enjoy the sights and get something to eat. But not on this night.

In one of the factories, a vigilante had his hands full with one of the most famous unknown heroes, Eraser Head. Eraser Head is one of the best underground heroes with his quirk, Erasure- the ability to erase someone's quirk just by staring at them. The only drawback is that it gives him dry eyes and he can't blink or look away from his target or else his quirk stops working.

One of the main reasons he's unknown is that he doesn't look like the stereotypical hero or a sidekick. He looks more like a hobo with long scruffy black hair, unkempt facial hair, and the eyes of a dead person or a college student cramming for a test.

His costume isn't much either. Only a black long sleeve shirt with matching pants and boots. The only thing that isn't black is a utility belt, his capture scarf, and special yellow goggles to prevent sand or dust from getting in his eyes.

"This is the last time we're doing this Jack Rabbit!", Eraser Head exclaimed.

"You keep saying that yet it feels like we do this once a week," the vigilante said using a voice modifier.

The voice modifier is one of the few gadgets and weapons of Jack Rabbit's arsenal. The others being a grappling hook (similar to the one that Joker uses in P5 Royal), a detachable staff that becomes two batons that extend with a push of a button, smoke pellets, and his secret weapon pocket sand.

"This time will be different."

"WOW! You said that the last time as well, maybe you should look through a thesaurus to expand your vocabulary."

That seemed to irk him because he launched his capture scarf towards Jack Rabbit. He connected his two batons together to make his staff guard against the scarf. After connecting the two batons Eraser Head's scarf wrapped around Jack Rabbits staff and ripped it out of his hands.

"You're unarmed, give up now and your prison sentence might be shortened," Eraser Head stated.

"That does sound tempting," Jack Rabbit said with his hand resting under his chin doing a thinking pose, "But I'm young and I got a world to see and people to meet and I don't think the people in prison are the ones I want to meet."

As Jack Rabbit said that he extended his wrist to one of the platform rails and shot the grappling hook. As the hook latched onto a rail Eraser Head sent his capture scarf at the vigilante. The wireline started reeling him towards the rail as the scarf reached the spot he was previously at.

When he reached the platform the vigilante turned to Eraser Head and said, "Well it's been fun but I have plans in the morning and I need to look like the polar opposite of you." As he finished speaking he ran towards the closest window and jumped out of it, shattering the glass in the process.

When Jack Rabbit landed he heard someone shout, "PUT YOUR HANDS IN THE AIR AND LAY DOWN ON THE GROUND!", as a spotlight shined brightly over him.

Jack Rabbit put his hands in the air and started to lay down on his stomach. While doing that he looked around and saw an army of police officers and some low or unranked heroes. He also saw a news helicopter flying towards the scene.

Shōta Aizawa has been a pro for over a decade and has dealt with multiple villains, vigilantes, and problem children but none of them has caused him so many headaches as Jack Rabbit has. He sits in one of the offices in the Musutafu police department waiting for an associate to bring in the information of the identity of the thorn in his side for almost half a year.

He just doesn't understand how a child, the same age as his students could call this much trouble. Maybe it was how he was raised or maybe he stopped a petty theft and liked the rush or the thrill of stopping a crime that he just kept doing it. He has to wait for Naomasa to interrogate the problem child.

"I hate it when you bring in criminals this late.", said a tall young-looking man with short black hair wearing a trench coat with what appears to be a suit underneath. "So, this is Jack Rabbit."

"Yes, it is. Do you have his file, Naomasa?", Aizawa asked ignoring the detective's complaint.

"When his picture was sent in I immediately went looking for it," Naomasa said while opening it up. "Name: Izuku Midoriya, Appearance: green hair and eyes, freckles shaped like a diamond on both cheeks, Height: 166cm (5'514"), Parents: Inko Midoriya (Deceased), Hisashi Midoriya (Missing), School: Musutafu High, Quirk: Quirkless, and is currently in the care of Haru Azumi the current caretaker at the orphanage."

"So he's an orphan who's quirkless?", Aizawa questioned.

"That's what his file says. Why did you notice anything during any of your encounters with him?", asked the detective.

"Maybe, but it was usually dark whenever we ran into each other so I can't be sure." stated the hero while looking over the file.

"Well, that's what I'm going to find out." heading towards the interrogation room. "Feel free to watch through the glass."

Izuku Midoriya handcuffed to a chair in an empty room with only a table, one other chair across from him, a tinted window, and the door that connects the room to the rest of the building. As he looked around the room all he could think about was how he let Miss Azumi down, his friends down, and his girlfriend down. He was so deep in his thoughts he didn't hear anyone come in.

He was broken out of his thoughts when he heard the man speak, "Hello Izuku Midoriya, I'm detective Naomasa and I'm here to ask you a few questions."

All Izuku was able to do at that moment was nod his head.

The detective began, "Why did you become a vigilante?"

"I wanted to help people," Izuku answered quickly

Truth

"Why not become a hero then?"

"I don't like how a majority of heroes are only in it for the fame, popularity, or money."

Truth

"Do you have a quirk?"

"No."

Lie

The detective smirked 'got ya' he thought. Naomasa cleared his throat before speaking to Izuku, "While we're on the topic of quirks, do you want to know mine."

Izuku seemed to loosen up after hearing the detective say that, "Sure, what is it?"

Naomasa looked Izuku in the eyes and said, "Lie Detector."

Izuku stiffened when he heard him say it.

Naomasa looked at Izuku and asked, "Why did you lie about not having a quirk?"

"I-I-I'm just s-so used to t-t-t-t-telling people I'm q-q-quirkless at this point," stuttered Izuku.

"But why don't you tell people that you have a quirk?" Naomasa questioned.

"I-I-It's kinda the s-s-same reason I d-d-d-don't want to be a hero and also why I'm still an orphan, but it's a l-l-l-long story," said Izuku looking away from the detective's gaze.

"Well, I have nowhere to be. And it might help me understand why you became a vigilante." Naomasa said taking off his trench coat so he could get more comfortable.

"Ok," then Izuku began his story, "It all started about 14 years ago-"
