"James…I couldn't…I couldn't do anything, they took them away from us!" A woman with red hair said, she had tears in her eyes and the dark-haired wizard who was by her side didn't hesitate to hug her.

"Lils, it's okay, I'm sure they haven't gotten too far, I'm sure they're close, I can feel it, I'm sure we'll catch the kidnapper and—" James couldn't finish because they suddenly heard an explosion on the other side of Diagon Alley.

"Oh no…Henry…Harry!" Lily said with a concerned expression.

It didn't take too long for her and her husband to start to run around the city to reach the place where the explosion happened and many ideas were running through their heads, most of them were negative but they tried to be positive even though a situation like this could end up in a tragedy.

They don't know for how long they ran but the moment they reached a certain place in the city where a lot of people were gathered, they knew something was wrong.

"Ma'am, you can't go further and—" An officer said until James showed his identification. "Oh, Auror Potter, sorry but, the scene is too gruesome, I don't think it's a good idea—" The officer couldn't finish because Lily somehow managed to pass through the security.

"Henry…Harry…What happened…Here!?" Lily's concerned tone was disappearing and it was getting replaced by a more horrified one little by little as she stared at the scene in front of her.

Harry was smiling while holding his brother who seemed to have lost consciousness, but that's not the reason why Lily was horrified, is the fact that the two of them were sitting in a pool of blood, and even though they were fine, their bodies were completely covered in blood, now, there was a question that needed to be answered...Where was the kidnapper?

"Hi, mummy I used all my magic, and the funny man exploded like a balloon! It was too much fun you should've seen it, I want to do it again!" Harry said with an innocent yet happy smile, it seemed like he was the one responsible for this horrifying scene that was shocking even for experienced Aurors, they had only seen scenes like this in the worst cases they've been in.

To say that Lily and James were scared would be an understatement and not only because of what happened to the kidnapper, but the fact that Harry not only seemed unaffected by this but also happy made them stare into each other's eyes and feel confused, parents shouldn't feel scared of their children…Right?

"Lils…I don't think he's coming, let's just start, all the guests are getting impatient," an older man with dark hair and glasses said to a red-haired woman who was wearing a blue dress and blue high heels.

"James…Do you think…Do you think I'm a bad mother for wanting to have my other son here with us even though he doesn't want to attend to see us for a very good reason?" Asked the red-haired woman with a blank expression on her face.

Her words surprised the man who was standing behind her, but it didn't take too long for him to hug her from behind, she loved the sensation.

"Well…Harry, there's no doubt that just like most of us he has some problems, he's not too fond of people, and when he uses magic…Some awful things happen but…He's a good man, he got good grades at Hogwarts despite his problem, and he's an amazing seeker, if only I had time to polish his abilities instead of training Henry he'd be in a professional team, that's for sure," James suddenly smiled as he spoke about Harry.

But then remembered the reason why his wife was so down and clarified his voice, he was going too far and he was diverting from the main topic.

"The point I'm trying to make is that…You're a good mother Lily, there's no such thing as the perfect parents, we tried our best and yes, even though we rarely see our second son, he's constantly sending owls and he seems happy with his life, that's the most important thing Lils, our sons' happiness should be the most important thing," James tried to make his wife feel better.

"Well, I'm not happy with the way he's living his life," she said in a serious tone that made James feel worried. "I'll hate myself for the rest of my life for visiting that place where that old witch gave him that prediction…He's not a monster James, he's just an anomaly, he's a broken thread that can be fixed but if he thinks he's doomed, there's nothing we can do to help him, not even I can do something to help him and that frustrates me!" Lily lamented herself.

She has spent most of her life teaching at Hogwarts, and she has managed to help many witches and wizards to reach their true potential but the most ironic thing is that she couldn't do the same thing with her son.

"But most of all…I hate myself for calling him a monster," Lily said and James sighed.

That was a horrible experience for their family. After Harry got to know about the prophecy of him being destined to bring the end of the world, he didn't want to speak with anyone, he wanted to be alone and didn't want to be bothered, he wanted to throw his life away, of course, as a mother Lily wasn't going to let him do that, she didn't want him to ruin his life.

So, she did the worst thing that a mother could do when her teenage son is in a situation like that, she forced him to do something he didn't want to do which was training, or at least the plan was to train him, it was more like a beating from Lily to Harry, and it was too late for her to realize that, she attacked him and she was expecting him to attack her back but that didn't happen.

Her attack hit him directly and sent him to crash against a bunch of random trees, and when Lily, James, and Henry realized what happened, they ran as fast as they could to assist him as a cloud of dust was covering his body, however, when the cloud disappeared, he was completely fine, until he started sending attacks to all of them.

Luckily their home is in the middle of nowhere for reasons like this, so, they had all the area to do something like this, it seemed like Harry lost control of his magic because his eyes were glowing and his attacks were too strong that not even the three family members were able to stop them, the three of them ended on the ground and Harry was about to use the killing curse against them.

"Monster…He's a monster!" That's what Lily said and the moment those words came out of her mouth, it seemed like Harry managed to get back to reality and he was so ashamed of his actions that he ran away from home.

He was sixteen back then, and it took a few days to reach for him, it seems like he was hiding in Nymphadora's apartment (a close friend of the family) and since then, the relationship between Harry and Lily hasn't been the same.

"Well, to be fair we all thought we were going to die, so, I'm sure that if he had killed us he would've called himself a monster once he got back to his normal state," James was telling the truth, that's the way Harry would usually act after a situation like that.

"But I started everything James, my parents raised me like that, to face everything despite the difficulties, I was forced to face my fears too, but I went too far…I can't believe I put a prophecy on the same level as going to the dentist!" Lily couldn't believe it. "Do you think…He still resents me about that?" Lily was on the verge of tears.

Ever since Harry became an adult, he has completely cut contact with everyone, the only one who can reach him without getting the cold shoulder is his brother.

"I think he resents himself more than he resents you…He probably still thinks it's his fault," James said with a weak smile on his face, that's the way Harry behaves, always putting others above himself.

The couple was going to keep talking but suddenly the door opened, it was Henry and he was wearing a brown suit, he had a smile on his face until he realized his parents were kind of sad.

"Oh, sorry for interrupting but…There's someone who would like to see you, Mum," Henry started.

"Hey," with a shy smile on his face, wearing a black suit, with his hair fixed and his beard gone, Harry Potter was standing in his parents' room after so many years of not seeing them.

To say that the Potters were shocked would be the understatement of the century.
