The three groups scoured the park but with no luck. Rosslyn, Jason and Nathan left to unload the gifts and leftovers at the apartments. Kevin and Zach stayed to continue the search with Usagi and Mamoru, just in case they ran into trouble.

[How did she know about the crystal? Let alone that Usagi had it?] Kevin asked telepathically as to include the entire group.

[Could she be an enemy?] Jason asking putting a voice to what they all feared.

[Let's not jump to conclusions.] Mamoru commanded.

[The questions need ti be asked, my Prince .]

[How about we find her first?] That shut the group up Mamoru sent gratitude toward his sister as he turned his focus back to the search and his girlfriend.

As the couple rounded a corner there she was. The little girl seemed so helpless as she sat rocking on a swing. With her guard down the little girl appeared to be just that a sad, lost, scared, and lonely young child. Usagi stopped Mamru and looked up at him, "She looks so sad, where do you think her family is? "

Mamoru shrugged as he approache the child. "Hey there." He waited for the child to react. "Where do you live, little one? Let us take you home," Mamoru said offering his hand.

As the little girl tentatively reached out to take it Mamoru was overcome with a vision of a city made of crystal and a sudden feeling similar to that of bond to this child along with a strong desire to protect her.

"Mamo-chan?" Usagi asked bringing him back to the present.

"I am fine." He said looking down at Chibi-Usa, 'Who are you?'

"I am sorry, papa… it is all my fault." The little one whispered as she collapsed into Mamoru's embrace.

"What are you sorry for? I am sure it isn't your fault." Mamoru said attempting to comfort the child.

He picked up the little girl making Usagi a little jealous. But Usagi smiled and asked, "Hey sweetie. How did you know about the silver crystal?"

The girl glared angrily at her instead of responding. [Just leave her for now, Usako. I feel she has been through something …]

Usagi nodded as the couple with Chibi-Usa left the park. Mamoru recognizing the time started walking Usagi to her family's home, figuring that Chibi-Usa would hopefully open up as they walked. The teens talked about their daily lives and tried to invite the child to open up and join in.

As they made their way down the streets Chibi-Usa thought, 'Daddy hasn't changed that much at all, but Mommy… how can this girl be her?'

As they arrived at the Tsukino family home the group was greeted by Luna. "Welcome back. How was your time at the …" she froze as she noticed the strange child on Mamoru's shoulders. 'Is she a terran relative? I don't remember her though …'

"Welcome home, Usagi. Is this the young man you wrote us about?" Ikuko asked coming out of the house with Shingo.

"Well, if this isn't timing. Welcome home, sweetheart. Happy birthday." Kenji said as he arrived home from work.

Surprising Mamoru the child jumped down and grabbed her toy, "I am going to stay here and keep an eye on you." She said as Luna-P turned into an umbrella and she started to hypnotize the family and Mamoru.

The forgotten Luna jumped down knocking Mamoru and Usagi out of the hypnosis.

"Usagi, your cousin came to stay with us while her parents both had to travel for work." Ikuko said taking Chibi-Usa's hand.

"Yeah, Chibi-Usa has been staying in your room," Shingo answered the question he thought was being reflected in his sister's confusion.

Usagi just nodded while opening her link with Mamoru. [Mamo-chan?]

[I don't know, Usako. However this could work.]

[Huh? What do you mean work out?] She asked telepathically while turning to look at him as her family re-focused on Chibi-Usa.

[Her staying with your family means we know where she is. It will also give us a better opportunity to find out more about her.]

Usagi turned back to her family, [I understand.]

"I am glad that you had a good birthday, Usako. I will leave you to reconnect with your cousin," Mamoru said with a wink before turning to leave. [I will fill the others in.] He paused as he felt Usagi's disappointment. He turned and smiled at her, [Not ready to have the boyfriend conversation with your dad yet. I will make it up to you in our dreams tonight.]

Usagi blushed before joining her family and went inside to get ready for bed.
