Jason smiled as he watched his Prince and Princess leave the Café while Roselyn was entertaining the little girl. He watched as the two girls bonded and soon he decided to join in. He made his way into the diner and walked up to the table that the two girls occupied and smiled. "Hi there, Roselyn. May I join you and your friend?"

"Chibi-Usa, this is my friend Jason. Would you mind if he joined us?" She paused to gage the girls reaction before adding, "He can be annoying but I promise he is harmless," she said with a laugh.

Chibi-Usa looked up at her Uncle. Out of all her Uncles Jason was the most fun. She laughed at a memory of them playing together near the palace. She nodded with a little more enthusiasm than she intended. So far these two had not changed much. 'This almost feels like home. But how could Usagi really be my mom she is nothing close to being a Lady like mommy.'

Jason noticed the little girl go quiet and quickly asked, "So what have you ladies been talking about?"

Roselyn nodded to Jason as they had both picked up that their little friend liked being called a Lady although they had no clue as to why. The term seemed to help bring her guard down. Chibi-Usa smiled, "Roselyn was telling me about a festival one of the schools is having tomorrow and how she would take me there." There was a pause, "Would you like to go with us Jason?"

Jason smiled. "It would be my honor to accompany you two beautiful ladies tomorrow."

The girls laughed at the complement as Jason got up to clear the tab before inviting the girls to join him on a shopping trip to prepare for the festival the next day. Chibi-Usa was so surprised and happy that she completely forgot about following the couple, mainly Usagi and let herself be a proper six year old. She spent the afternoon going from shop to shop getting spoiled by the two teenagers.

Kevin returned to the apartments mid afternoon and collapsed onto the couch before looking up at the wall now adorned with intelligence on the mysterious child. Who he had to confirm what some of them suspected, there was no missing persons report for anyone close to meeting her description in any of the Japanese police databases.

Zach and Nathan added that to the wall as well as the traits and quirks that Roselyn and Jason reported noticing in the child who seemed to be getting more comfortable with the two.

Mamoru had taken Usagi to the lake and once out on the water Usagi began relaxing. Mamoru smiled. "I am sorry she seems to be causing you so much trouble."

Usagi met his eyes with a mischievous look, "Are you sure? You seem to find my discomfort humorous." Mamoru shrugged. "Why do I think if she was our child you would be encouraging her behavior? "

Mamoru froze mid stroke. "What? Why? Where is this coming from?"

"You heard me. The fact you were trying not to laugh and you started this last night," the last part she said with a smile pushing out her stomach imitating a pregnancy and giving it a seductive rub. Laughing as she saw it had the desired effect.

Mamoru looked away flushed and whispered, "Please don't… the bond."

Usagi relaxed and frowned looking the opposite direction feeling some guilt for forgetting the bond. "I am sorry. I should have remembered."

Mamoru took her hand and used his other to turn her gaze back to him. "Do not get me wrong I would love to watch you grow and birth a whole brood of babies, but we both know we are not ready." He paused taking a deep breath trying to slow his heart. "I love you, Usako. However even now I am struggling the urge to make you mine in every way possible. I am even fighting the urge to fight anyone who I catch looking at you."

Usagi looked down as she realize what he wasn't saying and it was her fault. "The bond is already growing. because of… me,"

"Usako. No. Do not think this is on you. I should have been preparing since before we came back from the ranch." Mamoru had not meant to shift blame. He again forced her to look at him. "I am the one who started all this to begin with. I am the older out of us. I should have felt it changing when we were at the ranch. And like you said I started this last night."

Usagi laughed as she realized that they were both trying to take the blame. She leaned in and kissed him. "I will forgive you, if you forgive me?"

"Always," Mamoru said returning the kiss with more passion than intended and both pulled away as they realized their mistake as the bond burst making their telepathic ability more of a connection that was always on.

Usagi looked at Mamoru as he stared back at her. Them both aware that they didn't need to speak as they both could feel real-time what the other was feeling and hear real-time what the other was thinking. Both cursing themselves and then laughing at themselves before Usagi's fear filled them both.

Mamoru pulled her into his embrace careful not to upset the boat and began gently caressing her both physically and mentally as he felt her tears even before they reached his shirt. [How could I have been so careless?]

Usagi could only shudder as her tears began to freely fall and her breathing turned to sobs.

Slowly as the sun moved across the pond Usagi's tears began to dry up and Mamoru released her from his embrace. [We need to update Luna and the others.] Was all Usagi could think or say as she found her seat across from Mamoru in the boat. Mamoru nodded unnecessarily as he began rowing them back to shore.

Mamoru helped Usagi onto the dock and she noticed him holding her that much more possessively as they walked away from the pond. As they entered more populated areas both Usagi and Mamoru could feel not just their own but each other's jealousy as people glanced their way. Had either of them been thinking right they most likely would have attempted to walk a little more inconspicuously and may have noticed the growls coming from one another.

After they made the excruciating walk to Mamoru's apartment they were both physically and emotionally exhausted and as if it were completely normal climbed into Mamoru's bed and fell asleep in each other's embrace.

Several hours later after receiving a concerned call from Usagi's family that is how Roselyn and the generals found the couple.

"At least they have clothes on." Jason said trying to lighten the mood. He and Roselyn had raced back after dropping Chibi-Usa off to a extremely worried Ikuko.

Nathan smacked his brother in arms and looked to Kevin for direction. Kevin was face palming and cursed under his breath before exiting the room and heading to the balcony outside the living room. 'I wish you were here with me my sweet.' He thought as he visualized his venisian princess. Which gave him an idea. Turning on his heel he went inside almost crashing into Zach who was coming to find him.

"Find Luna and bring her here. ASAP!" He commanded as all but Roselyn took off to do the lead general's command.
