This is the year 2099. In these past years something new appeared in humans. It caused many people to develop what we know now called quirks. Many people born with strong quirks started to do things that harmed others and benefited themselves. As they did, others would rise up and stop them from hurting one another and put them in jail. This caused the government to make a branch called the heros association. This was the part of the government that oversought the heros in each country. But this story isn't about them, this story is about a boy that became the number one hero against all odds, even with a "bad quirk".

"(Man I'm so late.)" A young boy with black messy hair would say this as he did he could be seen having a piece of toast in his mouth, running on the sidewalk having a yellow backpack on his back indicating he is still in school despite his height being 5 '11. As he was running he would turn the corner in doing so he saw a big crowd in front of the bus stop, as he saw this he would take a bite out of his toast walking up to someone tapping their shoulder, as he did the man would turn around seeing him, as he did the young boy would look at the man seeing he was small for his age but being quite fat, he had noticeably long ears.

"Excuse me, but what's happening?" As the young boy asked this the older man would respond looking back to the front

"A villain is fighting the wood hero Kamui woods." As he said this the young boy would go on his tippy toes looking over most except the people who were still taller than himself. As he did he would see the wood hero binding someone with long sharp teeth with long nails. As he saw this he heard a noise from his phone. As he did he would check it seeing who it was. As he did it read Mina ashido.

'IZUKU WHERE ARE YOU CLASS IS ABOUT TO START' As the boy now known as Izuku would read this in doing so he would look at the time as he did he would realize it was 8:09 as he saw this he quickly put his phone away running away from the crowd as he did he would take another bite of his toast in doing so he would look behind himself seeing that the hero Kamui woods was getting surrounded by photographers as he saw this he got a smirk on his face looking forward he would make his hand into a fist, as he did a black tendral would shoot out of his knuckle, as this happened he would swing from building to building as he did he would hear a phone call, as he heard this he would pick it up.

'HOW COULD YOU BE LATE ON THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL' As a feminine voice said this Izuku got a sweat drop as he did he would swing above a truck almost getting hit, as he looked back he saw the man out the window flipping him off, yelling incoherent sentences 'Look my stupid alarm didn't go o' before he could finish talking he would hear a man yelling at him to get down from there as he did the woman would ask him a question.

'Are you using your quirk again?!' as she said this the school bell went off as it did Izuku would begin talking

'Sorry but my signal is really bad, I'll call you later BYE.' As he finished his sentence he would put the phone in his pocket flipping onto the ground he would rush into the building as he did he would be met by a muscular young man of average height and a rather impressive physique for his young age. He has red eyes pointed slightly inwards, and a small scar just above his right eye. He also has small eyebrows and pointed teeth. His hair is somewhat long, dyed a bright red, and spiked away from his head at all angles with gel, with two more pronounced tufts spiked on either side of his forehead like little horns. As Izuku saw him he would stop in front of him.

"What are you doing here?" As Izuku said this he would quickly walk past him as he did the young man would follow.

"I'm waiting for you, it's the manly thing to do." As the young man said this the two would walk inside as they did they would hear Izuku's name get called scar just above his right eye. He also has small eyebrows and pointed teeth. His hair is somewhat long, dyed a bright red, and spiked away from his head at all angles with gel, with two more pronounced tufts spiked on either side of his forehead like little horns as Izuku saw this guy he got a sweat drop on his forehead as he did he would slow down and walk up to him.

"Kirishima, you didn't need to wait for me, you know." As he said this he saw a confused look on the boy's face now known as Kirishima.

"Well I did, now let's go before." Before he could finish his sentence he got interrupted by the bell ringing as both boys heard this they rushed in and in doing so they saw no one in the halls, as they saw this both boys got even more nervous before getting in front of a door as they did it read class 1-B. As he saw this Kirishima quickly opened the door and as he did he heard Izuku's name get called. From behind Kirishima Izuku would say here. Once he did, the entire class looked over to see Izuku and Kirishima standing there, Kirishima having a slight sweat drop on his face while Izuku just had a big smile on his face. As they did the teacher would get a sweat drop on his forehead

"So you guys decided to come late even on the last day huh." As the teacher said this Kirishima would get a sullen face while walking to his desk, as he did Izuku would speak up.

"We just wanted to keep the tradition going." As he said this most of the class would chuckle while the teacher would simply just sigh as they did the teacher would begin talking.

"Alright everyone since it's the last day we won't be going over anything and I'll give you the rest of the day to fill out the papers that are on your desks." As the teacher finished talking he would sit down at his desk and went on his phone as he did the students would talk amongst themselves.

"So Kiri, where you going?" Izuku would ask this while looking over the paper in his hand, as he did he would hear a voice from the side of him.

"I'm going to shoot my shot at U.A." As he said this Izuku would look up from his paper to meet Kirishima's eyes as he did he would see a smile on his face before he could say anything he would hear another voice from the opposite side of him.

"Izuku….. Where are you going." As the voice said this, Izuku wouldn't look up, continuing to look at the paper as he did Kirishima would speak up.

"Seiji, where are you going?" As Kirishima said this he would begin writing on the paper as he did Izuku would look up and see a young man with average height with thin, slanted eyes with tiny black pupils, and a straight purple fringe, parted on his right so it covers his left eye. Around the back of his head, his hair is fluffier, sticking out in small tufts.

"I haven't decided where I'm going." As he said this he would look down at his paper again.

"Then come to Shiketsu with me." As he said this Izuku would look up at him with a smile.

"I haven't decided where I'm going but if I can't by next week then I'll definitely go." As he said this the boy now known as Seiji would sit down next to Izuku filling out his form. As he did Kirishima would look over to see Izuku with a thinking face as he did he would get a small frown. Izuku would put the paper down and take out his phone and get out his headphones as he did he would begin playing some music while sitting there. He would wait until class was over. As he was waiting the door slid open as the class looked over they saw Mina out of breath and very angry. As Izuku and Kirishima saw her they would both look at each other with a scared look on their face.

"IZUKU." As Mina yelled this Izuku would quickly get out of his seat and grab Kirishima putting him in front of himself as Mina walked over to them she got in front of the two.

"Kirishima move." As she said this she had a sweet smile on her face but if you looked at her you could see a demon behind her.

"H hey w we can t talk about t this…. R right?" As Kirishima said this he saw Mina not moving keeping the same smile on her face. As she did he would quickly move his hand making Izuku go away from him.

"Live for me Izuku." As Kirishima said this he dashed at Mina for her to just slap him across his face making him go flying.

"KIRISHIMA." As Izuku yelled this he ran over to him quickly trying to make sure he was okay. As he did Kirishima would grab Izuku's hand looking him in the eyes.

"My time…. My time is near….. You, you need to live, make your dreams a, YOU NEED TO RUN." As he said this he would close his eyes going limp as he did Izuku would look behind him slowly seeing a dark cloud over his head as he did he would see Mina cracking her knuckles with her other hand.

"It was amurable Kirishima but you didn't need to die as well." As Mina said this Izuku would put his hands in a praying motion as he did Mina would speak up.

"Budha won't help you here Izuku." As Mina said this Izuku somehow would get even more terrified look on his face

- After school -

The trio would be seen walking together as they did Mina could be seen in between Izuku and Kirishima. Izuku had a black eye with a big bump on his head. Kirishima just had a few bruises on his face from where he got hit. Mina could be seen having her arms crossed.

"Mina you didn't need to go so hard you know. Plus we went even late." As Izuku said this all he got was a hmph. While walking the trio would get into a comfortable silence as they did, they ran into a group of people all watching something. As the trio walked up they saw a woman with big rabbit ears jumping up in the air as she did. She would hit the ground causing it to shatter as she did they would hear a scream looking over and they would see a grown man scream like a little girl.

"That was a grown man making that sound?" A woman would ask her friend as she did her friend's wound respond to her.

"Men these days." As she said this, many of the people in the group just shook their heads as they did. They would disperse leaving them as they did, Kirishima and Mina would begin leaving. As they did the man in the street would slowly get up. As he did he would yell.

"DAMN YOU, YOU STUPID RABBIT." As he said this he took out a red bullet having a needle on the end as he did he would inject himself with it as he did he would begin laughing.

"WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO KNOW?!" As he said this big spikes would appear out of the ground heading towards Mina.

"KID, WATCH OUT." As the rabbit hero said that Mina and Kirishima would turn around they would see giant spikes, seeing the spikes half the height of the buildings. Kirishima would quickly jump into action as he did his skin would harden putting his arms in a X shape to block the upcoming spikes, but before the spikes could hit him they would hear a yell from Izuku.

"GO AFTER THE VILLAIN HE'S ESCAPING." As he said this Mirko would look over to Izuku seeing a black tendril shoot out from his knuckles as it did he would swing around the spikes grabbing Kirishima with his other hand, as he did Kirishima would grab onto Minas hand all making out of the way of spikes, as they did the watched as Mirko jumped into the air slamming her leg onto the head of the villain knocking him out, as the trio saw this they would see Mirko bind the villain. Seeing this the trio would begin cheering for the hero. As the trio did she would walk over to them.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT KID." Yelling that the trio got scared, Izuku would instinctively get in front of the two trying to protect them.

"My quirk…. I used my quirk too." Before he could finish his sentence he would see Mirko laughing while the police would arrive taking the villain away.

"I KNOW, WHAT'S YOUR QUIRK?!" As Mirko asked this Mina and Kirishima got more scared while Izuku kept a straight face.

"It's called black whip. I can shoot tendrils out of my body anywhere, so far I'm not able to use it's full power because it is too strong for my body, I have been able to use about five percent of the power making the tendril smaller and less effective in restraining opponents. It gets stronger the more emotions I have." As Izuku said this Mriko looked like she wanted to say something but couldn't because the police officer interrupted her.

"You kids can go." As Mirko said this she got questioned by the police, as she did the trio would leave. While walking Kirshima would need to leave the two for his house was in the opposite direction of where the other two lived.

"Thank you." As Mina said this Izuku would look at her with a weird expression on his face

"For what?" As Izuku asked, Mina would look up at the sky as she did she would begin talking.

"For saving me…. Again." As Mina said this Izuku would get a sheepish grin on his face.

"Izu, do you remember when we were kids, and what happened?" As Mina asked this Izuku would look at her and give her a questioning look.

"Which time, the time when we found that abandoned building? Or the time when we were dancing at your house and I hit my head on the counter?" As Izuku asked, Mina would snort, shaking her head.

"The time when we first met, and how you were my hero that day as well." As Mina asked this Izuku would nod his head.

"Of course I remember that day, it was the day I got my quirk of course." As Izuku said this Mina would hit his arm, making both Izuku and Mina both laugh.

- 10 years ago -

A small boy could be seen in front of a young girl with white skin having small spots of pink. She had very small horns. The young girl had pink hair, also having scrapes and bruises all over her body, having many burn marks as well. In front of her was a young boy having black messy hair being 4 '0 in height. The young boy had many burn marks all over his body, his clothes had holes from burns, and his hair had dirt in it. As you looked at the boy you could see his hands and legs were shaking, having small tears in the corner of his eyes.

"Move out of the way Deku." A young boy with blond spiky hair would say this as he released small sparks from his hands.

"N no K Katchan, I won't let you hurt her just because of her quirk." As Izuku said this he would look at the boy across from him seeing a smirk on his face.

"Oh yeah and you're going to stop me with what. How are you supposed to be a hero if you don't even have a quirk?!" Two boys were standing besides the young bully, one was extremely fat having a white shirt that didn't fit him at all having half of his stomach exposed, he had red demon looking wings on his back, the other boy was tall and skinny just like Izuku but his face looked weird having a really long face with a big forehead, his arms were stretching.

"I I I'll s stop y you e even if I have to put my l life o on the l line…. Because…. THAT'S WHAT A HERO DOES." Hearing this the small girl behind the young man's eyes widened if she wasn't already crying from the pain then she would definitely be crying now from how scared, relieved, and terrified she was.

"P p please l leave, I don't want you to get hurt." As the young girl said this Izuku would look back with a small smile on his face, meeting her eyes he would speak up.

"I don't worry, because I'm here." Hearing this even more tears came out of her eyes, hearing this the boy known as Katchan would get angry releasing explosion from his hands once he did he charged at deku getting ready to attack, seeing this dekus heart started to beat fast and faster, he felt like he was going to have a heart attack from how fast his heart was beating. Before Bakugo could get any closer black whips came out of Izuku's body whipping around like crazy hitting all over, hitting the ground causing holes to begin to appear from how hard the whips were hitting around, one of the whips would hit Bakugo making him go flying back a little.

"AHHHHHH, IT HURTS, IT HURTS." Izuku would yell this feeling like his bones were breaking but his quirk was reattaching them back as fast as they broke, it felt like his skin was being ripped apart but the black tendrils felt like they were reattaching the skin. Bakugo would look at his arm seeing his skin was gone, flood flowing out onto the floor.

"AHHHH." The pain was unbearable, this was the worst pain either boy had ever experienced, the two cronies of Bakugo picked him up and ran away leaving the young girl and young boy to themselves. Before too long the young girl was hugging Izuku trying to make him stop, somehow she didn't get hit a single time.

"PLEASE STOP, THERE GONE, YOU SAVED ME, MY HERO!" Hearing this, Izuku would pass out into the arms of someone he didn't know. Back in the present the trio walked by a street corner the trio would continue to hangout and talk with one another until the sun began to set and the three left each other going home. While Izuku was walking he would be listening to music before he could get startled by Mirko jumping in front of him.

"Heya kid." She would say this with a smirk on her face seeing the shocked look on the young boy's face she would continue to speak. "Today when I saw your action I must say I was surprised." Izuku would take out one of his headphones making eye contact with her again.

"Why?" Hearing this Mirko would laugh like he was joking before she spoke up once again.

"So brat, what are you wanting to do in the future? I can only guess you want to become a hero with that quirk right?" Hearing this Izuku would get a straight face before nodding his head. "Great, when I saw you I saw a lot of potential in you, I don't do this with anyone, after all I work by myself, but I want you to train under me." Hearing this, Izuku's eyes would widen from hearing the news.

"B but, why me? After all there are other." Before he could finish talking she would talk over him.

"I don't want others, I saw how you reacted even though you were scared of the villain. Your body moved without you thinking, that's what makes a hero, every great hero at the beginning of their story their body moves on there own without them thinking. I hear it all the time from other heros of how their body moved without them thinking about it." Hearing this Izuku's eyes widened before he could speak up again he would once again get interrupted by Mirko. "We only have ten months until the U.A. entrance exam, at that time you're going to be learning under me, ya hear." Hearing this Izuku would deadpan thinking to himself.

"(She didn't even let me say anything, but I guess that decides it for me… I'm going….. To U.A)"
