In the year 2000, a group of teenagers decided to go urban exploring in the sewer system. They crawled through a network of dark tunnels filled with moldy trash, rusty pipes, and foul smelling water. As they made their way deeper, they noticed something strange. One of them pointed at a crack in the wall. "Guys, look! That looks like a cave entrance," said one of them.
The teens approached closer and looked in. It was a massive underground cavern, probably used to be an oil or water pocket long ago. One of them shined a light around the cavern, and they saw something floating in the water.
"Is that a person or something else?" asked one of them. They cautiously walked into the cavern and looked closer at the figure floating in the water. "It's a body, but there's no head," replied another one of them. The teens immediately got scared and ran back out of the sewer. Later, they contacted the local police department and reported what they saw in the sewer.
A couple of hours later, the police officers arrived at the location and carefully investigated the scene. They placed the headless corpse in a body bag and were about to drive it to a morgue.
However, just as they were driving away, a black SUV pulled up. Out came a group of men dressed in black suits and sunglasses. They were accompanied by two other vehicles, an ambulance and another SUV. One of the men flashed his badge. "We're taking this body. We have authorization from the government to confiscate the body." the man said.
The police officers were suspicious at first, but they didn't resist and let them take the body bag. They loaded the body bag into the van, and they drove off to a massive research facility in the Nevada desert. Once they arrived, they loaded the body bag into a freezer storage unit. Inside the storage unit was a massive vault filled with cryogenic freezing chambers. There were many corpses of alien-human half-breeds preserved in the chambers. They placed Sil's corpse in one of the chambers and sealed it up.
110 years later...
The frozen remains of Sil were loaded into a cargo spaceship and taken off to a distant star system in Alpha Centauri. The ship was bound for an Orbital Research Station known as Genesis. Genesis is a top secret company ran facility that conducts all sorts of experiments. From genetic engineering, experimental cloning, military tech, medical research, and viral weaponry. The ship docked onto the station and unloaded the cargo. The frozen corpse of Sil was stored inside a containment chamber located in the research lab section of the station. There she would be used as a template for future genetic studies and experimentation. Most of the Scientists that work at the station were quite interested in studying her and her DNA sequence, and eventually they had successfully cloned her.
About a month later, after Sil became cloned, she was moved to a containment cell in another part of the station where she will be kept under strict observation by the scientists assigned to examine and study her. At first, she seems unfamiliar with her surroundings, but she was getting a case of déjà vu, and it was then after two months, she had been growing really fast, and she is close to reaching her teenage years, yet the memories of her past slowly started coming back to her. Her first words were; "I remember," she said softly. The scientists were shocked, and they thought they were hallucinating, but they quickly realized that she was speaking English.
The scientists were extremely curious and fascinated by Sil and decided to test her knowledge and abilities. They were surprised by how much she was able to recall about human society and language. Sil seemed to learn new things quickly and was able to read and understand English. Over the next month, Sil was already in her cocoon stage, and was becoming an adult.
as they waited for Sil to emerge from her cocoon, there was a debate on how Sil knows english and about human culture. it was then that the scientists started to realize that Sil was remembering more than just language, she was recalling memories from her past. The scientists were shocked, but they quickly realized that Sil may be remembering things from before she was cloned, and they need to know what they were.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in the station, One of station genesis's newest scientist named Eric Blu was walking down the hall with one of his escorts, unaware that he was assigned to study Sil closely and become familiar with her behavior patterns. "i must ask, what is this assignment, i haven't been properly briefed. is there something you folks aren't telling me?" Eric asked, feeling curious about the assignment he was given.
The escort smiled and looked at Eric with a grin. "Well, I am not authorized to disclose too much info, but you'll be briefed soon," he said. "You mean i haven't been fully cleared yet?" Eric asked. The escort shook his head. "Nope," he replied. "Not yet," he said. Eric felt confused but shrugged his shoulders and continued to walk through the station. They eventually arrived at one of the research containment labs. The lab was filled with various types of scientific equipment. There were several people in lab coats walking around, and they looked busy. Eric noticed that there was a glass chamber and inside was some kind of cocoon.
