meanwhile on the USS adam, eric and sil were in their space suits inside the cargo-hold trying to flush out the intruder half-breed that had infiltrated the ship. sil was sitting on top of the cargo crates and stall draco, while eric was standing on the floor trying to find the switch that would open the cargo hatch as they were talking "this is taking forever" sil said through the communicator in her helmet. eric was trying to find the right button that would open the cargo hatch as he said "yeah, it really is. hopefully it will be over soon." eric said. sil just nodded as he pressed the button to open the cargo hatch, and it slowly opened as air was being suck out of the entrance, the half-breed draco was just about to jump at sil with high speed and attack her with his claws, when she moved to the side and dodged his attack. the crate they were standing on started moving being dragged by the air stream as the cargo door was halfway opened. draco tried to keep a firm grip on the metal and crates as he tried to claw his way back up to sil who was holding on for her dear life as she was trying to avoid being sucked into space, she could see draco coming closer and closer, sil knew that if draco were to get to her, she would be killed. eric was startled by a voice coming though his communication headset, it was gig "eric, do you read me? why haven't you guys detached from the station?" gig asked through the communication headset. eric quickly responded "gig, we have a problem, sil and i are trying to flush out an intruder half-breed from the cargo-hold. im not really in a good position to talk." eric said. gig seemed to have heard him through the comms, as he responded "okay, how long will it take before you can flush him out? because the station is on a collision course with the planet." gig said. eric looked at draco who was trying to reach sil, and he knew that he had to do something.
meanwhile one the other transport, gig was waiting for eric to reply, but he wasn't answering "im going out there." gig said before leaving the main deck, the four remaining crew members stared in utter confusion as he was leaving. one of them stopped him and said "sir, what are you doing?" the man said. gig looked at him and said "im going out there to help them." gig said as he walked down the corridors of the ship and went over to the airlock. he then started putting on his spacesuit before saying "im not going to leave them hanging like that. im going out there to help them." gig said as he entered the airlock, and the doors closed behind him, gig then proceeded to open the outer airlock door and venturing out into space with his jet-pack. gig then proceeded towards the USS adam, which is still attached to the docking bridge and not yet detached from the station. as gig got closer to the ship he can see that the cargo-hold entrance is opened, he can even see eric standing in the cargo-hold as draco was trying to claw his way up to sil. it was not long until all the air in the cargo hold was sucked out into the vacuum of space and both eric and sil were now in zero gravity. draco tried to claw his way up to sil once again but failed miserably as he was now floating in space. eric had a look of shock on his face, while sil looked worried and scared for her life, she knew that if she changed into alien form, she'll be exposed to the dangers of outer-space. draco on the other hand, used his tentacled hair to latch onto a pipe and then started to pull himself towards the ceiling of the cargo hold. eric and sil, who are now floating in zero gravity, along with every metal crate and item inside the cargo hold. sil was worried and scared for her life, while eric jumped off the wall and towards sil as he grabbed her arm and they both floated away to the other end of the cargo hold. draco who was still trying to pull himself up to them. draco was now holding on to the ceiling with his claws as struggled to contain the air in his lungs, in the hopes of surviving the total vacuum of space.
gig floated closer to the entrance to the cargo hold as he could see sil and eric holding on to each other and struggling to get away from draco. "eric, i'm coming in." gig said as he entered the cargo-hold through the entrance, he then activated the magnetic boots on his spacesuit, causing him to land on the floor. he then took his jet-pack off his back and threw it to eric as he said "take this, and get sil out of here." eric nodded and quickly put on the jet-pack before grabbing sil and propelling themselves towards the airlock. draco notices this and jumped towards them, but gig immediately shot a harpoon at him and pulls draco towards him. "stay away from them you ugly mutated mother fucker!" gig said as the line attach to the harpoon gun pulls draco further towards him, both eric and sil watched as gig shot the harpoon at draco. eric then proceeds to jet towards the airlock and as soon as he gets closer he activates his boots and lands on the floor as he grabs sil and pulls her inside the airlock. he then quickly remover the jet-pack and closes the outer airlock door, then activates the airlock decompression as the airlock slowly fills up with air.
in the cargo-hold draco looked at gig with anger and hatred, as he was being dragged by the harpoon line that was attached to his back. draco tries to struggle and break free from the line, but he is unable to as he is being pulled closer and closer to gig. draco's face is now turning red and his veins are leaking fizz as they are popping out of his forehead. he can feel the pressure in his lungs and the pain of having his lung's squeezed, draco's eyes are now turning red as he was unable to hold on much longer, he can see gig coming closer and closer to him as his vision was getting distorted. he then read gig's lips saying "you're a criminal, now you are a threat to our survival, a danger to the human race and to my friends." gig uttered with anger. draco tries to roar, but it was silenced by the vacuum of space for there was no air. as a last resort, draco used his tentacled hair to grab onto the ceiling pipes again and this time he used the ceiling as a means to launch himself towards gig with one final attack. draco jumped towards gig as he was being pulled closer and closer to him, gig notices this and tried to dodge the attack but failed to do so. draco was now in front of gig and he grabs onto his helmet as they both drifted out into space, draco's eyes are now red with rage as he was about to crush gig's space helmet with his bare hands. gig felt his heart pounding in his chest, at this rate he'll be killed in a matter of seconds. but then gig notices that draco wasn't crushing on his helmet or even moving anymore, his eyes were still looking at him. gig then took this opertunity to pry himself free from draco's grip and watched as draco's body drifted out into space "eric do you read me, i think this half-breed is dead...ether that or he's placed himself in some form of hibernation." gig said through his communicator.
meanwhile back on the ship eric and sil had just finished the decompression cycle. eric opened the airlock door and stepped out of it before removing his helmet from his head and taking a deep breath of air. he then proceeded to remove his space suit and placed it down on the floor. sil looked at him with a smile on her face as she said "thank you eric, i owe you my life." eric smiled as he said "it's my pleasure sil, i felt it was the right thing to do and thats what makes us human." eric said and sil felt herself blush, but were interrupted by comms originating from gig. "eric do you read me, i think this half-breed is dead...ether that or he's placed himself in some form of hibernation." sil and eric heard gig's voice through the comms, sil then asked "should we help gig or first detach the ship from the station?" she asked as she was trying to put on a pair of trousers that was laying on the floor. eric then turned off the comms before replying "you go and help gig and i'll detach the ship from the station. there is a jetpack unit in the airlock so please be careful?" eric said as he then watched sil put on the jetpack unit. once she had placed the jetpack on her back and put on her helmet she nodded to eric before he opened the inner hatch and sealed it up. once the door was closed sil waited for the outer airlock to open before she would be able to jet herself outside and help gig. eric then proceeded to the ship's cockpit and activated the systems. he then saw the controls on the screen and accessed the detach sequence. he then watched the computers as the ship was being detached from the station's docking bridge, it was almost clear as the ship was now drifting downward and away from genesis, but not too far. eric then proceeded to activate the communications systems, he then sent a distress signal to the nearest ship that was just about to leave the area and it was the same ship that the four crew went onboard with gig.
as it received the distress signal and activated its sensors, the ship's computer detected that there was a smaller ship that had just detached from genesis. it then activated its cameras as it approached the ship, the cameras detected that there was two people floating outside of it. it then contacted eric as the captain came on screen and asked "are you okay, my name is captain billy and this is the starship 'blue moon'." captain billy said as eric smiled with relief "thank god, this is eric blu onboard the starship genesis. i am fine, but there are two people floating outside my ship and im sure you know what's happening on the space station genesis." eric asked, hoping that the captain heard about the situation. captain billy nodded as he said "yes we know, gig was able to send us a message about the situation. we're on our way to pick him up right now, so don't worry about it. consider this a thank you gift for saving most of my crew." captain billy explained as eric smiled and replied "thanks and your welcome." eric said before cutting the call. "hang in there you guys." eric said to himself as he proceeded to check the camera feed that were attached to sil's space helmet, he then looked at window view and was watching both gig and sil as she used the jet-pack to get to gig's location.
meanwhile sil was now trying to inspect gig's space suit for any damage from draco's attack, things like leaks, or ripped cuts on the suit and it was a difficult task for her to do. thankfully she seemed to find no damage done to the suit or his space helmet that is surrounding his head, although sil didn't want to remove the helmet otherwise it vacum of space would kill gig and so she proceeded to take him to the uss Adam by using the jet-pack. it wasn't long before she notices a light pointed at them and she saw that it was another ship moving towards them, gig recognize it the 'uss blue moon' the same ship that he and the other four crew members entered. gig looked at sil knowing that this is where they must part ways "i guess this is it, my ride is here. you should to the uss Adam with eric." gig told her as sil nodded as she released gig and then proceeded to head towards the ship Eric was in.
