(Part 2)

"Joe... I feel really funny. Like a zillion volts of electricity running all over my body!"

All of the crew inside 'Joltin' Josie' (name of their Sherman tank) felt the odd sensation.

Suddenly, Johnnie blacked out... And Joe and the rest of the tank crew. It was terrifying.

"Professor... Your Wunder Weapon has worked! We must build more as fast as possible!"

This, from the German Colonel overseeing the latest in the Fatherland's Secret Weapons program.

But the celebrating was short lived... "Colonel... Did you hear that? A roar from up above the trees."

When something goes into an opening in Space/Time... Something else might come out. And it did!

Something then swooped down and grabbed a German soldier and flew off. A giant bird-like creature.

"What the Hell was that... Not an eagle?" yelled a Seargeant nearby. The Professor replied in a nonchalant

voice: "If my eyes do not deceive me... That was a Pterosaur. An ancient prehistoric flying... Reptile. Yes!"

After snapping the unlucky German soldier in its powerful beak, the pterosaur flew up. A P-51 'Mustang'

just coming into the area nearly collided with it, the pilot not believing his eyes. The pilot called to his

wingman: "Tom... What the heck is that thing. They grow buzzards that big, here in Europe? My gosh!"

Both pilots quickly attacked the flying lizard, with a wingspan as wide as their fighter planes.

A quick burst from the wing-mounted machine guns snapped the pterosaur's left wing in half.

It spun in and died upon impact in the dense forest woodland below.

The Professor and Colonel found the remains a short time later.

"My god... What have we done?" asked the Professor.

"Only what we must... Our Duty, Professor!" replied the Colonel.

Meanwhile... Millions of years, B.C. and in a dense, jungle primeval:

"Damn... It's too damn hot. We were in snowed in forest, and now were in an F-Ing Jungle. What gives?"

This from Joltin' Josie's commander, Joe. Johnnie and the rest had the same exact thoughts at this point.

All of a sudden... The ground shook. The tank shuddered, though the engine was only lightly idling now.

"Johnnie looked to his left, out one viewport in the front armor. "Joe... What the heck is that? A monster?"

And it was the earliest and oldest monster of all... The deadly T-Rex!
