"Alright homework done… now I can relax plus my head's been hurting plus tired since I was using my powers a lot in class hehe." Casey said yawning. She was feeling drained and sleepy which Eliza had explained happened when Morlocks used their powers too much which had happened so had sluggishly went back to her room but had did homework as just because she was a Morkick, she still wanted to get good grades knowing Rocket would agree.
It was afternoon and school had just let out plus her first day of Morlock school had went great despite the teacher giving them reading homework which she'd did but was getting soda out of the mini fridge Rocket had installed for her as she needed a snack after classes sitting on her beanbag chair listening to music on her headphones feeling sleepy as the school day had wiped her out of energy moreso than other kits feeling her eyelids getting heavy zoning out feeling somebody tapping her gently.
".. sleepy.." Rocket heard her mumble making him roll his eyes at her.
"Dad asked me to check on you, afteryour first day and see it wore you out, if you're like this. I'll come back when you're awake okay." he said as he left her room going to do stuff. But later her phone buzzibg stirred her as it was Oreo saying she was headed to McDonaldcoon's asking, if she wanted to come making her sigh guessing her dad and Rocket wanted to do something with her to celebrate her first day at school.
"Alright, pizza's good andguess you have them on speed dial huh. School was good but tired since we use our powers a lot in class so you've nothing to worry about." Casey told Rocket. It was early evening and she, Rocket and their dad were eating pizza knowing Rocket loved pizza but was looking at her phone hoping Branchie would respond to her voicemail making Rocket sigh.
"Kiddo, she might be busy doing royal training but be patient okay." he told to hersel
Casey hoped this was true putting her phone away making Rocket Senior relievoed as he knew sometimes, she was messaging her friends unaware she'd almost taken off with Oreo but Casey was keeping this to herself so she didn't hurt their feelings which she didn't want to do being her.. "I can hangout with them tomorrow or text Oreo later." she said softly to herself.
