Deep within the ocean of the Eastern Sea, Sandy's airship was sinking, the gang quickly hurried to find a way out of their situation. Macaque had created a shield around the cockpit so no more water could enter.
"We're alive, we're alive!" Tang cried out in relief, before letting out a fearful yelp when the airship began to shake. Small cracks began to appear from the shield allowing more water to come in as the water slowly rises.
"W-We're all g-gonna drown, we're a-all gonna drown!" Rumble whimpering from her rising panic attack, apparently the she-monkey didn't like tight spaces as Mei and Savage tried to calm her down.
"Great, just great! We finally got away now we all get to drown!" Pigsy snapped.
"Monkey King, you gotta do something!" MK turned to her mentor.
"Why, a little water never hurt--" Monkey King was cut off by an angry glare from Macaque, shrinks back in fear. "Oh right, mortality."
Red alarms began flashing and the sinking airship began to shake by the sudden force from something gigantic swimming by.
"What's that?" Mei asked
"Must be something big." MK whispered, trembling a bit.
"Relax everyone, It's just an old friend of mine coming to help out." Monkey King reassured them as he float on the water sitting cross legged.
Purple eyes appeared in the front windows, glowing bright as everyone stared at the turtle like machine that quickly grabbed the sinking dronecoppter with it's mouth. "I don't think this "friend" is going to be happy to see you, hon." Macaque grumbled.
The smoke cleared out as the giant purple bubble drops to reveal everyone. "Is everyone okay?" Macaque asked everyone nodded and they looked up in awe at the grand palace.
"Where the hell are we?" Savage asked, earning a tail whack from Macaque. "Watch your mouth."
The doors were beginning to open. "Oh, here he comes! Smiles everyone, smiles!" Monkey King putting up a bright smile as the two golden spears removed to reveal the face of the Dragon of the East Sea: Ao Guang.
Ao Guang has sea green eyes, purple hair and beard with two gold decorations that resemble horns on his head. He wears a white robe with teal and gold lining on the front. He has gold shoulder armor and his cape resembles a tail.
"Hey, Ao Guang! Long time no-"
"Sun Wukong! Tell me, what brings back to my domain, after you humiliated me? Tricking me?"
"Wha--The staff? Ha, that's a total misunderstanding-" He tried to explain.
"And now I learn that it had been lost? You have given the evil Lady Bone Demon exactly what she needs to destroy us all!" His eyes glowed menacingly. "I should execute you where you stand!"
Mei popped up behind Wukong. "I thought you said he was your friend!" She whispered.
"He knows about the Lady Bone Demon!?" MK whispered too.
"What are we gonna do!?" Tang adds.
"Relax. I've got this!" Macaque whispers before stepping in front of Wukong, facing the king. "Your majesty, it's very nice to see you again." Macaque greeted with a bow. Ao Guang's face softened a bit.
"Liu Ér Mihou, it has been some time. I see you're still married to that wretched simian." Ao Guang glared at the Monkey King. Wukong was about say something, but decided to shut up.
"And now I learn that the staff has been lost?! You all have given the evil Lady Bone Demon exactly what she needs to destroy us all!"
"Listen to me Ao Guang. I know you're angry with him and we all left on bad terms but—" Macaque was cut off as they were all thrown back by Ao Guang's dragon avatar,
"I will not listen to anything the likes of you have to say," The light purple haired king roared. "I can sense his weakness...your power is all but consumed!"
Turtle guards surround the group and aimed their spears at them. Mei glared daggers at the turtle guards and pulled her dragon blade out before defensive position. "Back off!"
Ao Guang gasped, recognizing the sword. "Hold!!" He yelled making the turtle guards remove their spears from them. "You girl, where did you get that?" Ao Guang asked pointing at Mei's sword.
"Uhh, i-it's mine, it's my family's." Mei coughed awkwardly as all eyes were on her.
"I know this blade, it belonged to my brother, the Dragon of the West," The white and pink king gaped in awe. "You are indeed Ao Lie's descendent."
MK came in between them, clasping her hands together. "Mr. Dragon of the East, Sir? Sorry to interrupt this family reunion, but you know about the Lady Bone Demon, what she's capable of," MK said holding up the map. "We can stop her if we just--"
Suddenly, Ao Guang's dragon darted towards MK, she gasped and braced herself for the blow when the dragon went through her and returned to Ao Guang, with the map in his hand.
"No wait!"
"You would tell me how to protect my people, Little girl? When you have unleashed this terror back into the world!?" Ao Guang shouted.
MK gasped as she felt tears in her eyes, trembling a bit. Wukong growled, his golden eyes now a burning red, his instincts kicking in as he stepped in front of MK protectively.
Ao Guang glared back before simply turning around and then looked over his shoulder. "Take them to the cells, but bring the girl." Ao Guang said before walking back into the temple.
"Say what!?" Monkey King and Macaque yelled in disbelief.
"Mei!" MK, Savage cried out.
"Huh?!" Tang and Rumble said in disbelief.
"What did I do?!" Sandy asked confused.
"Don't worry guys, I'll figure something out! I--" Mei's eyes widened when she felt her eyes glowing, his voice echoed in her head.
'Nothing is more important than getting that map back, understand?'
Mei blinked before nodding with determination before she was sent into the temple.
"Twins, go with Mei.." Macaque whispered to the twins. Rumble and Savage nodded before their eyes turned white and they fall into their shadow portals.
When the prison door closed Tang began to panic. "My mother was right! Getting married and associating with the wrong people and this is where you end up!"
"Cut it out Tang!" Pigsy shouted grabbing his husband by the shoulders. "I ain't gonna sit around and wait, I'm gonna break us out of here! Using this!" Pigsy pulled out a spoon from his pocket.
"A spoon?" Monkey King said raising an eyebrow as he began scraping the wall.
"Ain't nothing that a spoon can't handle! This baby will have us out in no time." Pigsy began scraping the wall with the spoon, few seconds later the spoon breaks and Pigsy pulls out another one from his pocket.
"This guy.." Macaque groaned, face palming.
"Um, where did the twins go?" MK asked, looking around for the Twins.
Meanwhile, Mei looked at herself in the mirror, the long cream and green dress flowing to the ground. She had blue eye make up on and a hair piece in the back of her hair.
"Damn! You made me look good! Say, how would you feel if I made you my personal stylist?" Mei grinned at the woman before turning back to the mirror.
The Attendant scoffed, pushing up her glasses as she turned her back to Mei. "Hm. I suppose you're starting to look like a proper part of the dragon clan." She responded, Mei letting out a huff as she glared at her.
"Kay I'll take that as a no then," she immediately went back to smiling, reaching for her sword. "You wouldn't know where a super secret map would be kept huh?" She asked as she tried to sheath her sword, though having no proper place to on the dress. "Maybe you could give me a tour? You know just two fancy girls being all fancy?"
The dress ripped as she decided to sheath the sword through it, blinking at the Attendant who gasped in horror. "It is unseemly to have a weapon whilst wearing a dress!" She roared, before putting her hand out for it. "Give it to me." she demanded.
Mei blinked in confusion. "Uh.. no?"
Growling, a dark aura formed around the eldest female, "Young Lady. If you don't comply, I'll be forced to take it from you."
"Let me out of here!" The woman screeched, from where she'd been trapped inside the wardrobe, with Mei tying the handles together with an aqua green ribbon. "When the Great Dragon of the East hears about this--!"
"Sorry!~" Mei cackles, using another ribbon to tie her sword to her dress properly. "I can't hear you over the sound of me not complying! But thanks for the clothes!~"
"Miss Mei, there you are!" Mei turned around to see where the voice came from, she looked down at the shadow portal beneath her. "Rumble, Savage!" She said, quickly picking them up.
"We found you! Thank goodness." Savage exclaimed happily, squeaking slightly as she picked him up. "Ooh, hehe, you look pretty~"
"Aww, thanks lil cutie pie~" She cooed, giving him a peck on the cheek, making him giggle."
"Oh please," Rumble grumbled, pushing her glasses up. "Anyway, we think we know where that map may be!" She informed.
Blurs blur of white, green and black whizzed past the halls of the Eastern Sea Palace, looking for the Samadhi Fire map, but to no avail.
"This is impossible!" The dragon racer grumbled, sliding down the wall. "We'll never find the map at this rate!"
Closing their eyes, the twins lifted their noses in the air, trying to find the scent. "There!" They shouted in unison, pointing at the podium at the end of the long hall.
"Good work you two!" The part dragon demon smiled at them, carefully setting them down. She was about to grab it when burst of white light and wind engulfed the room, only for it to stop and show Ao Guang's spectral dragon, curled around the immortal himself.
"It is never wise to come uninvited to the lair of a dragon."
The trio gulped nervously as they were caught.
"Oh boy.." Rumble internally cursed herself for sounding so nervous. "Uh, we weren't doing anything sir. We were just—"
"Stealing from me? On orders from those two simians no doubt." He leaned forward accusingly, Savage and Rumble summoned their weapons before stepping in front of Mei.
"Don't talk about our dads like that!" Savage growled.
"You are a member of the Dragon Clan!" Ao Guang roared, his voice speaking with such authority, his dragon avatar following his movements. "Your allegiance is to your family!"
"My allegiance is to my family!" Mei snapped back, green lighting sparking up. "And also to my friends! The fate of the world is at stake, and this is important!" The king was cut off, as his niece continued. "We need the map so we can find the Samadhi Fire and stop the Lady Bone Demon before it's too late!"
"There is no stopping her!" Ao Guang shot back. "She is beyond any of us!"
"But Monkey King Said—"
"That monkey is NOT to be trusted!"
"Stop It!" She shouted, shooting forward as the twins let out a yelp and clung to her dress. The dragon king went to attack but she quickly jumped over him, grabbing the map and turning around as he grabbed her arm.
Suddenly, a vision of dark red fire took over the trio's vision, a pair of eyes being the only other thing visible through the flames.
Just as quickly as it ended, Ao Guang jumped back with gasp, staring wide eyed at Mei. "This cannot be..." He whispered.
Mei looked confused and worried, but quickly shook her head and ran out the room, leaving the dragon king stunned as the trio left the room.
Meanwhile Pigsy was still trying to dig a way out of the jail, Wukong had joined halfway through out of desperation. Macaque's six ears perked up, twitching. "Uh guys...I think y'all should move now."
The pig demon and Wukong quickly bolted away, mere moments before Sandy's van impacted with the prison wall, creating a massive hole in the wall. Quickly climbing in, Mei made room for Tang to sit up front, as the others joined inside and Sandy drove them off towards the city exit.
"Ooh, slay Mei! That dress looks fierce!" Tang cooed, noticing Mei's outfit.
Mei giggled, flipping her hair back. "Thanks, I know~"
After getting Pigsy in the van, they quickly drove off, Pigsy in the passenger seat while everyone else sat in the back.
"So we're in a van in an underwater city. Is nobody else seeing the problem!?" Pigsy shouted, Sandy laughing and patting Pigsy's head.
"Oh sweet and sour Pigsy, I've got us covered!" Sandy said happily, tapping on the screen in the middle. "Welcome to the total environment automobile, or T.E.A for short. It's called TEA you guys!" Everyone smiled but the moment was cut short as the entire gang was sent flying, by Sandy slamming on the breaks as a dragon was blocking their way and the back door was forced open by Ao Guang who looked more than angry.
"I will not allow you to leave with that map!" The old king growled, eyes glowing dangerously.
"Ao Guang look, Using the Samadhi Fire is the only way we're going to stop the Lady Bone Demon!" Monkey King tried to ease the situation.
"The Samadhi Fire cannot be contained! Why are you so determined to use it?" Ao Guang snapped.
"We don't have any other choice! It's the only way to stop her!" Mei agreed.
Ao Guang narrowed his eyes at that, suddenly a loud bang like a bell rang as their eyes glowed for a moment.
"Oh no..." Macaque muttered, eyes widened. "He's coming..."
"You mean Lady Bone Demon's thrall!?" MK cried out.
"Please Ao Guang, If he gets the map," Monkey King pleaded, looking back at group. "All hope is lost."
Ao Guang sighs and hopped out of the van turning towards the danger. "I'll hold him off, go!" Ao Guang ordered, he turned to leave but Mei grabbed his sleeve, pulled him close to a hug.
"Thank you, great, great, great thousand times great uncle." Mei said smiling, Ao Guang placed his arms around and gave her a closed eye soft smile. "Take care.." He whispered to her.
The van converting into its water function, thanks to Sandy's love for those kinds of adventures, the vehicle quickly speeding off and away from the underwater city.
MK and Mei couldn't shake the horrified looks on their faces, as they watched the Eastern Dragon Palace disappear in an explosion of bubbles and ice.
"No..." Mei whimpered, hanging her head low to hide the tears, MK pulled her close to a comfortable hug.
