A voice pierces the air, and so tears the night in twain. "Goodbyyyeeee, JOJO!" Moments pass, and the battle later ends, the child of house Joestar at the top of the fallen body of Dio. From the wreckage, Jonathan is taken. In awakening, he gazes upon the face of 4 men. One is without a hand or an eye, and bears a prosthetic leg. Another is a man under 5'6, who, very clearly, thinks that he is over six feet tall. Another is a scaly young fellow wearing what seems to be a dead octopus as a cloak, his tail flicking in the wind as his forked tongue does the same. Another man, this one wearing some kind of coat, long pants, and presumably nothing else but a fancy glove, yanks Jonathan to his feet.
"Well," says the one-eyed man, "Jonathan Joestar! I'm pleased to meet you. You've just fought Dio, I presume? The name's Monsoon."
Things continue on roughly the same path as the original, until Jack the Ripper attacks. Facing him, Speedwagon attacks, but the Ripper dodges, and Monsoon attacks, along with Jonathan, and the small cloaked man, Javier, teleports him out of the cave, yelling "Shambles!" The zombie is slain, and instead of the original chase, Zeppeli sends the two of them after two zombies heard deeper in the cave. The first tackles Jonathan, resulting in a brawl. Meanwhile, Monsoon begins a battle with the other zombie, who delivers a series of strikes, knocking the glass to the floor, before Monsoon pulls back his fist. The strings of fate themselves seem to reform alongside the glass as he catches it just in time with his foot.
Thoughts of Giles, the aforementioned man with a glove, fill his mind, with a memory of Giles saving his life being the most prominent. Thinking back, what was it Giles had said to him before? Concentrate... concentrate your energy?
Breathe... breathe...
There it is. The words of a close mentor fill his mind, as he lets out a cry, his fist flying forward. "TAKE THIS! EAT HAMON!" he cries, the energy pooling within the fist, a punch shattering the skull of the foe, the zombie dying instantly. The route continues as before, until the arrival of the group at the battlefield where they are meant to fight him. Dio stands atop a hill. Monsoon throws a stake at him, but he dodges. Monsoon throws a stake that hits him in the head. Monsoon throws a stake at him, but he dodges. Monsoon throws a stake at him, but he dodges. Monsoon throws a stake at him again, hitting his shoulder. Dio suddenly becomes pissed off.
"Arise, my undead army!" he cries.
Cobra, the scaled man, looks around, confused. This reality is much different from his. In his universe's stories, Straitzo had been killed by Dio rather than Dire, who instead went on to die a vampire. In his world, Kakyoin lived as Polnareff died. But nonetheless, he is ready. As 7 zombies rise up before them, he begins a duel with one, a Shocking Grasp spell piercing its brain. Speedwagon begins to battle a zombie with a sledgehammer, as Zeppeli defeats another in a single strike. Giles turns to Javier.
"Can you handle two zombies?"
"Yeah, sounds fine."
Giles vanishes. Javier lifts the ground beneath both zombies, calling out "TACT!" He then proceeds to throw it at Dio, as the zombies fall to the ground. Dio arises from the cloud of dust, as Jonathan kills his zombie foe as well. Channeling his Hamon, Monsoon crushes the head of his foe, as Javier shatters both foes' skulls. Zeppeli runs over, to attack Dio in a combat that seems to surpass the capabilities of several others. Giles appears behind him, landing a perfect stab through his skull with a rapier.
"DORA! ZAWARUDO!"
An invisible force strikes Dio, who is unphased.
"That is... excellent. You almost had me."
Jonathan strikes him, as Monsoon grabs Speedwagon's sledgehammer, striking down a zombie, then handing it back, as all of them rush toward Dio, who disengages and runs after freezing Monsoon's hand. Dio then calls forth Tarkus and Bruford, with Tarkus being defeated by a Fireball from Cobra. As the team converges, they realize it is all too late. Dio has pulled back his hand.
"FREEZE FROM THE INSIDE OUT! SHINEEEEEEE! ZE-PE-LLI!" he calls, plunging his hand through his chest, the entire torso immobolized. Dio contracts his hand. *Bm-bm* *Bm-bm*, beats Zepelli's heart in his hand, crushed into dust before his eyes. Deep Pass Overdrive is a failure. Dumble quickly entangles him with Evard's Black Tentacles, and Jonathan appears before him. "THIS IS IT, DIO! YOU'VE TAKEN A STEP TOO FAR! SUNLIGHT YELLOW OVERDRIVE!"
Dio is reduced to a head, rolling into the tentacles, where a blast from his SPACE RIPPER STINGY EYES knocks Jonathan back, where Wang Chun appears to crush him, before the rest of the party kills Wang Chun. Turning around, the group sees Dio's body... gone. Quickly, the group, all but Speedwagon and Jonathan, are evicted into their own reality. Yet again, it all continues as normal, but Dire yet remains alive. When Jonathan meets Dio in their final combat, they fight with a reckless abandon, Jonathan taking him down, yet giving his life.
And so it began. The destiny of a world forever altered by outside influence.
