The original premise for the Maw was to send Ruby to another Galaxy or an isolated Planet in the unknown regions. The point is that I really didn't have plans for the Empire in this, (no inquisitors) and that Ruby would have no idea about the purge and the likes, so she wouldn't be more reserved abut hiding herself being a Jedi other than not "scaring" the planet.
Originally I was leaning on Ruby being more of a "Jedi Consular' But if she's "Hiding" her Force abilities I'd say that really wouldn't out her to others? but we know the "Sentinel" works the best.
Also Ruby's outfit aside from her Beacon uniform is just going to be Merrin' outfit from Jedi Survivor.
Flashback
"W-Where am I."
"Huh, you're awake faster than I thought." A voice said as Ruby bounded up to defend herself before crumbling down in pain.
"easy, you took a hard hit on the head. I'm surprised but that's Aura for you."
"A-Are you the one who found me." Ruby said, still placing her hands on her head in pain.
"I am, so tell me, when did Atlas get such advance tech?"
"Excuse me?"
"You're from Atlas aren't you, they're the only ones that can make tech like this." she said as she ignited the Lightsaber Ruby had gotten.
"I-I'm not from Atlas, I was born on Naboo." Ruby said as the dull throbbing ache turned to a manageable throb.
"Born on Naboo? A ship?"
"No the planet."
(-_-)
it'd been two hours and a hell of a lot of her savior calling bullshit and pure disbelief for both sides though it goes without saying who had it worse. But Ruby managed to convince her that she was actually what they called an "Alien" but she was absolutely thankful that she got through. She felt worse trying to explain that she's not from Remnant than her injuries made her feel.
The Woman however once she wrapped her head, actually chill about it. Sure the woman may have been an expert poker player, but Ruby did not sense anything.
"So.." Ruby said trying to break the silence. I've told you about me, would you like to do the same?"
"Oh, right. My Apologies. I'm Rita Skamandros."
"Nice to meet you Rita. But What Planet is this and the likes is what I wanted to know."
"A-Ah of course!" Rita said blushing in embarrassment.
Ruby was thinking back on that memory as she was on her way back to her and Rita' shared home. She was always surprised how things turned out. A Jedi in exile, or was it more right to say lost? And a former Terrorist Faunas. Honestly She was surprised by that fact, but compared to the other Scoundrels in the Galaxy "Horn" (which was her old code name) didn't compare. She had told Ruby of her past around the sixth month mark. Ruby was surprised, but she told her that compared to what's out there, it was nothing. And that was a life that she had left behind, and that's what mattered to her.
Rita decided that it would be best that Ruby join her. In that time she taught the wayward Jedi all about the world of Remnant and that her Jedi abilities wouldn't cause that MUCH of a stir... provided she only focused on one aspect as two semblances is not possible. And it would be a pain to try and explain. "Telekinesis" Was the best excuse to use as it was true..technically; but the other abilities would bring up too many questions.
But her thoughts were quelled when she had made it home. The two opened up a little repair shop near the east side of Vale, the "Faunas Corner" that shop catered to both Faunas and Humans, though due to where they opened up, Faunas were the main (If only) customers. Never the less Ruby turned out to be a favorite of their clients, and the part of town. They all knew that she did the best work and the best care; and she held no discrimination in her what so ever, THAT was what made her so "respected" She even did some charity work for the struggling families, even handed out hot meals for the homeless. She may not be a "Jedi", but that did not mean she did not carry the Jedi way..even for all it's faults.
"I'm home!" Ruby shouted, as was the customary greeting she did. Rita would usually be in the back sorting the books or working on some weapons. That would be different tonight though.
"We're up here Ruby." Rita said in return. That was strange to her as they had never had guests before. Ruby' first thought was it might be danger, but her feelings told her other wise.
Walking up stairs she was greeted by two strangers sitting across from Rita.
"Hello"? Ruby said unsure of the visit.
"Ruby rose." Was the first words to come out of the mouth from the Blond haired woman. In truth, Ruby would have to admit, this Woman before her was possibly the most beautiful person she's ever seen. Even giving Rita a run for her money.
"It's a pleasure to meet you." She said as she walked across the room to offer her hand. Ruby taking it reluctantly, still unsure of the visit.
"You have silver eyes." She said. Ruby would have been creeped out or, at the very least, put off if not for the tone she used. More interested and surprised than anything; she also followed it up with.
"Ah, my apologies, it's just that silver eyes are extremely rare, and it never ceases to surprise me when I meet someone with them. My name is Salem, and I am the headmistress of Beacon Academy, The woman with me is the deputy headmistress of Beacon. Glynda Goodwitch." She finally introduced.
"Hello." Ruby greeted, and with a nod of Salem's head, she continued.
"Now that introductions are out of the way, allow me to get to the matter at hand. Miss Skamandros may we have the room please?" Salem asked.
Rita looked at Ruby who nodded; with that done she got up and left without word.
"So, why are you here?" Ruby asked.
"I'll get straight to the point then." Salem said as she took out her scroll.
"I must say, Mental manipulation semblances are extremely rare." She said as she showed her the security footage of her preforming a mind trick on that thug.
"So much so that there's fear of them in Mistral and Vacuo." She said, looking at her reaction, which she showed little so far.
"Alright, but that doesn't explain why the heads of Beacon would visit this place.. let alone find me personally; and with such speed." Ruby said, caution finally seeping into her voice.
"Please rest assured we are not here to criticize or bring you in. In fact, it's something different entirely." She said as she swiped to another video on her scroll.
"Tell me. What kind of fighting style is this?" Salem asked genuinely interested. The form was the Sixth form, "Niman". But Ruby knew never to discuss her origins.
"It doesn't have a name, it was something my mentor taught me in our little village." stated as she began her lie. "A little surprising but completely understandable." Salem said just as quick as the question came.
"However, I'm still a bit surprised as there has been nothing like that seen before. Do you mind if I ask your Mentors name?"
"Her name was Merino." With Salem's experience, she knew right away. "I understand. Allow me to get back to the matter of why we're here. I would like to formally invite you to Beacon as one of our students."
"Excuse me?!" Ruby said, shocked and surprised.
"It's more to protect you. You see Vale has anti-vigilante laws, and you broke that law." Salem said firmly.
"Excuse me!? They're the ones who entered the shop and forced my hand!" Ruby said, shocked and stunned. Too which Salem nodded at her words.
"And it would have been such and ignored. The problem with your infraction on the Anti-vigilante law was the skill that you showed. Now, there is a "grace period" for those who lived outside of the city who have the necessary fighting skills, but you have passed that period. Now the good news is that you are not facing jail time, but you are facing a hefty fine."
Ruby looked at her in shocked disbelief.
"A-And the fine?"
"About a quarter of a million Lien." Salem said to Ruby.' Jaw dropped horror. Salem ignored her expression.
"That's why we're here. If you choose to join us in Beacon, I can wave that fine on your store."
"So you're poaching me in a way." Ruby said sharply as she understood what was happening.
"Not at all, miss Rose. You'd have to be enrolled in a school to be poached." She said somewhat smugly.
"So why do you want me then?" Ruby said still not liking their ploy.
"Nothing underhanded, please, I assure you!" Salem said.
"I simply wish to offer aid to someone who did the right thing."
"And you still haven't answered my question."
"Very well. I see potential and the workings of a great protector. I would like to offer you a place where you can hone your skills to protect the people." Salem said.
but her words were a sort of punch to the gut. 'Protect the people, did we really though? the outer rim would say otherwise. And I have too admit, Dooku did have some good points. But the Clones, why?' Ruby thought as she lost herself. Salem saw her expression and knew what was before her, a tired warrior who had seen much.
Ruby' moment of thinking was all Salem needed, Her being an immortal, she was THE expert in reading people, and despite her long years of immortality, it never stopped to induce pity on her when she saw a child who had those tired eyes and spirit. In fact it told her more than she had hoped for.. and it broke her heart..it always did. But she had no choice.
"Thank you for your time, patience and hospitality towards us. Here." Salem said as she handed Ruby her card and a time behind it. A Bullhead will leave in two days time if you change your mind." She said as she motioned Glynda to follow.
"Salem! I don't like that you lied to Ruby about her breaking some made up law!" Glynda said as she followed behind.
"I understand Glynda, and I would agree in a heartbeat if the circumstances were different, but there's too many coincidences here." Salem said.
"That's why I kept quiet."
"Have you found anything about her?"
"Nothing, she just appeared all of a sudden a year ago along with that former White Fang member." Glynda said.
"And we are SURE that Summer did not have a daughter?" Salem asked.
"Everything says no, the biggest of them all is Tai himself and short of a DNA test, and Summer would never be unfaithful to Tai. but Salem, shouldn't we tell Tai of this?"
"The best possible thing to do is to not inform him. Until we have some sort of definitive proof that she is, in fact, Summers' daughter, there is no point in putting him through that. However, while the superficial evidence is damming, we can't do much until we know for sure as I just said, but considering his daughter Yang is joining this year, it is almost inevitable that they will meet. And no doubts. She will tell Tai about her. We can get a blood sample from her should she join Beacon, and that will be all the answers we need. For now, let's wait to see if Ruby shows up tomorrow. If she does, we can get that blood sample and go from there."
Than an idea or more accurately a possible realization hit Glynda like Truck-Kun. And it made her blood freeze.
"W-what if shes a reincarnate?" That got Salem to stop as well, her posture froze same as Glynda. Salem' mind going miles a minute in thoughts and contemplation as to the notion and idea of such.
"N-no..no I don't.. I don't think so.." Salem responded, but in truth it was more for her own benefit than to answer Glynda. 'Wouldn't she still have her memories? if she does, why would she be in what would be poor hiding? Did Summer inhabit that girl like Ozpin? Have I been lied too?' Salem began to think but each passing thought and theory led her down more and more of a rabbit hole of doubt and worry.
"Salem?" Glynda asked a little worry at the minor spiraling of the Headmistress before shaking her shoulder lightly.
"Ahh thank you for that.. I apologies for my daze..I believe that it is best to continue with the Idea that she is indeed the (secret) Daughter of Summer." She said before heading for the Bullhead that would take them back to Beacon.
"So Ruby, what was that all about?" Rita asked as she handed her some tea, sitting down on the sofa along side her.
"Headmistress Salem invited me to Beacon." Ruby said, sipping her tea.
"That's amazing!" Rita said
"Yeah." Ruby said emptily.
"What's wrong Rubes?"
"Sigh. I don't really think that's the place for me Rita, almost all my life has been dedicated to the Jedi way, I still don't understand why the Clones turned on us but I'm happy where I'm at here."
At her words Rita smiled before scooting closer to Ruby and wrapping her into a hug. "Well I won't deny your choice, but you'd be perfect for Beacon. I think it'd be the perfect place for you if you want to expand your skills. Plus training to be a Huntress would be a more perfect example of what a Jedi should be than being a solider like you've said."
"I suppose so, but I am happy with the life I've got here. And since iv'e found no evidence of Jedi establishing a presence here I don't see any point in continuing the Jedi path. Like you said, I'd probably start a global riot and craze." Ruby said as she just stared blankly in thought as her cheek rested on Rita' bosom.
"Ruby, you're a bright young girl, this life maybe good enough for you at the moment, but you're too good for it. you have too much to give Remnant. You're still a young girl, and I think you need this; go back to your roots, so to speak. But make do it the right way, make friends, form attachments along the way, don't let the dogma of the Jedi control you so much, make your own destiny, and make a life you'd love. Be the Jedi YOU want to be!" She told her.
Too which Ruby just stared into her cup.
"Just give it some serious thought okay Rubes?"
Ruby just nodded in return. "Hey, do you know anything about Vale having an Anti-Vigilante law?"
"Do you really think she's going to come?" Glynda asked as she and Salem were waiting on her hunch. though it continued to die as they had only a couple of minutes left before they had to board the ship for Beacon.
"Than I fear we'll have to take more serious actions to ensure she's not targeted by them." She said as she just stood still as if a vigilant statue, She couldn't get rid of Glynda' suggestion that Ruby Rose was a reincarnation of Summer in some way, shape or form. Yet she had long ago learned to have trust in her own gut, though it verried in it's results, she would put faith in this girl.
As she was about to turn, she saw her. She was indeed there, and to a little surprise, She saw that she had only a backpack on her. While that told her that the choice was made, which was a great relief to Salem, the immortal also saw in the eyes of the young girl she was not happy.
"Alright, Salem, I want the truth! why do you want me to join Beacon, and no made-up fake laws about vigilantes!" She demanded. Glynda was about to rebuke the Young Jedi for her tone, but Salem beat her to it.
"Very well. Tell me, have you ever seen this woman before in your life?" She asked as she took out an old photo to hand Ruby.
When she took it she looked at it. It was a photo of four people. Two black haired people whom Ruby believed might be siblings. A blonde man, but what she saw last made her jolt her head back in open shock.
"I take it from your reaction. That's a no. That is a photo of team STRQ. they were students of my school, and I and miss Goodwitch are still in contact with two of them. The man with the black hair is Qrow Branwen. He is our closest colleague. That's his sister in the red outfit, Raven. first Wife of the blonde man, Taiyang Xiao Long. and their leader.. Summer Rose."
At hearing her name Ruby just looked up in surprise. It wasn't just enough that Summer was a near Clone of her in an adult form, but shares the last name as well? Well if you asked Ruby, was this the "Will of the force" She would call "Kriff"
"Tell me everything." Ruby said as she was now hooked.
Getting to the point Salem spoke. "Seeing as you have never met her, that leaves a LOT of questions too answer.
Yang was actually quite excited, something she has not felt in a long time. In truth, the last time she recalled being this happy or excited. Sure, there were moments of "excitement and a rush of joy, but they were not true moments. In ways it she supposed it made sense why she's been a daring and free spirited girl. But if she were truthful, the last time she felt that was when her Mom Summer was in her life. But that all changed when summer left on a mission, and she never returned. She remembers that fateful night when her father came into her room, tears freely falling on his face. Yang knew what that meant, and from that day on, neither had been the same.
She held great respect and love for her Uncle Qrow, He had, in some, but important ways, "stepped up" to care for her while Tai had shut down. Not that she ever once blamed or held it against her father. Though in some ways, Qrow became more of a "Father" during that year and a half of grief, and despite his semblance and complete lack of experience, and Qrow would say especially his semblance; he never once quit.
And as she was on the airship on her way to Beacon Academy. She was looking out the window she wondered what was in store for her in life.
"In other news it's been 50 years since the end of the "Faunas war of rights" the Bloodshed from both side as well as the wounds still felt have left the two species still at odds in most parts of Remnant. Ghira Belladonna who was Founder of the White Fang before they turned to terrorism, remains Chieftain of menagerie and as such seen as a sort of Pseudo De facto leader of the Faunas. However great pressure still pushes and demands from Faunas from all over the world still calls for Atlas to to take responsibility for the actions they did during the war, especially for one colonel Dimitri Silver; the infamous Commander in charge of "Atlas POW camp number 12" which was located near "Tundra Outpost 73-BC". during the war he oversaw the treatment of Faunas prisoners. He was and still is accused by the faunas for "Crimes against Faunas" as they and what few survivors of the labor camp say extreme cruelty and mistreatment took place. However Atlas has and still continues to deny any and all mistreatment of any and all Faunas POW'S during the war."
Yang had drowned out the news about halfway, she had gone from admiring the view to looking around the ship to see who would be attending this year. As she was, her thoughts were momentarily cut off by sounds of wretching.
'Ugh' Was all Yang thought as she made a face as she looked at the person who was close to puking his guts out. And in another corner she heard a rather loud Ginger hair girl talking a poor boys ear off, though said boy seemed to be quite used to it. Yang gave little more thought as she went back to her own thoughts.
'Mom, I'll make you proud.'
Flashback
Ruby was told all she wanted...well enough of what she wanted, she could sense with with the force that there were things that were being held back. In truth, Ruby wasn't happy with that, especially considering that by outward appearance there is an obvious biological connection. Yet Ruby was sure there was not! However there is a very small chance that she was, that the Jedi had visited here before, found out about Ruby and took her. And there was one other possibility, though she did not like this one; for sake of argument, the youngest memory she had before being taken by the Jedi was four years old, it was possible in that regard that she was born from Summer and taken.
Yet there were far too many inconsistencies to that theory. First off, was what she just went over, that she remembers her life on Naboo.
Second; all of Remnants recorded history says they never had contact with the wider galaxy..if this even is the same galaxy.
third; From what she's been told, Summer was a loving and honest person. A loyal friend, a loving wife and mother! from the talks about her, the thoughts of her either having an affair or keeping a pregnancy hidden was something she would NEVER do! And especially if for sake of argument she was Summers daughter, no way Summer wouldn't have called for help and told every one about her. ESPECIALLY if she went missing.
That being said, the whole topic of "Summer Rose" was something that had to be solved. Of course Ruby agreed to giving a Blood sample so that the questions would be solved than and there, Though in someways if the Blood test did come back negative than that would raise only more questions. what exactly would those questions be? Ruby had a couple of ideas, but they would pale to what comes to the minds of Salem and Glynda. Still, Ruby agreed to become a student regardless.
Their flight to Beacon had been filled with talk and the history of Summer Rose and the history of her and her team..including Tai-Yang, and more pressing Her step Daughter, Yang-Xiao-Long; who would be attending this year and that their encounter would be inevitable.
Present
The bullhead had landed and the new students were disembarking, including the said Blonde who was running out to clear his stomach out. As Yang was looking around the Academy she was left in awe. The place gave a certain air, and it just helped to add to the awe that she had made it, that this was to be her home for the next four years; She was free from her thoughts when one of her few friends who had made it to Beacon had called to her. As Yang gave a wave and walked twords em she could only smile.
However she had no idea that she was being watched. Ruby was hidden behind a pair of trees..as cliche as the sight and action was, including the embarrassment. she felt when a few students pointed and talked about her, but she did her best too ignore the feelings, what more could she do?! Walk up to her and say hello? Watch the shocked look on the girls face as she sees a literal ghost and image of her dead mother?! Ruby had thought that the talk and explanation she had with the Headmistress would give her the heads up she would need, but when she saw Yang, the thoughts and the trepidation of the said encounter would only serve too cement her to the place she was now. Thankfully Yang had walked off with another friend and Ruby had let out a sigh she didn't know she had; Walking more into the open, she glanced around to take a look at the main landing pad/Entrance.
'Not as grand as the Temple back on coruscant but it is more..beautiful? No, more..peaceful' She thought with a smile as she let her mind wander in peace as she meditated to feel the force flow around the academy. After a couple of minutes, she had begun to walk the grounds; She already knew where to go and the places from earlier, but it just felt more "right" to follow the new students as she herself was.
Her walk quickly included sightseeing, that however resulted in her nearly walking into a luggage cart, thankfully the Force had warned her and she dodged just in time.
"Watch it!" The voice of a young white haired girl said sharply as she walked on, ignoring her after leaving her remark.
"Sorry!" Ruby called back, only for her to be ignored; Ruby figured that would be the result, but that was no excuse to not show some manners.
"Don't waste your breath." Ruby was told as she had turned and spotted a Woman walking up to her. The fact was she was Beautiful. she wore a black and grey coat and matching pants that fit her figure well, Long red hair with a single twirl over her right face, a slim figure, and a walk that showed experience.. though she felt great conflict within the woman; She also worse a large eye patch over her left eye.
"Well it was still worth saying sorry." Ruby said as she stood to greet the Woman, offering her hand for a shake. Her fellow Redhead had stared silently at her hand before accepting it.
"I'm Ruby Rose."
"Eve Taurus."
"So, may I ask what brings you here to Beacon?" Ruby said, as she felt a strong conflict within this woman, who looking closer, had a pair of horns on her head. 'Faunas, makes sense I suppose' Ruby thought as Eve responded with a curt and tactful response. "You may not."
"Alright, just thought it would be worth trying to start a conversation since you kinda started it." Ruby said in a tone that meant she would drop the topic while not wanting to insult the woman as she brought her point up in closing.
"And I'm ending it, just be sure to stay away from that girl, she's a Schnee." Ruby understood now why there was a venom to that woman's voice; she knew full well the reputation of the SDC especially from her Faunas customers who told her tragic stories about family members or friends. Sure the SDC operated by different laws set by the kingdom, and each SDC Branch varied in it's treatment and safety protocols but the end result was ultimately the same. But for what it was worth, she also knew about when the SDC was an honorable company, but of course it was a moot point.
Ruby was broken out of her thoughts and memories of the SDC when Eve had started to walk away. Ruby was about to say something, but she felt that it would be best to let that woman go on and not try to talk to her anymore.
With a sigh she started to walk towards the main building to begin orientation. The Main hall was quite large, granted nothing that grand compared to what she's seen before but for what it was it was impressive. That being said she had another ten minutes before the Headmistress began her speech so she looked around to see the new faces. She saw a pair of teens who appeared to be close, if the ginger haired ball of energy had anything to do with it, as well as the patience and the subtle smile given to her male companion. 'Never new pink irises existed on humans before.'
looking around she saw that white haired girl whom she nearly crashed, she had her arms crossed and was looking at the others as well. With Eve telling her that she's a Schnee, she knew the wealth that came with her, if her outfit was anything to go by, yet her posture said there was a certain determination to her, something that said 'i'm finally here, watch me.' That being said, that posture and stern look of determination on her face ended quickly as her gaze landed on another Red head. Ruby looked as well and there was one Pyrrha Nikos, Ruby personally wasn't that much of a fan of her, well the proper wording would be she wasn't that big a fan of the fame behind her. She knew she was a skilled prodigy and respected her skill, but she never really got into the tournament fights that was played on Remnant, That was more of Rita' thing.
Still, Ruby supposed she ought to at least try for an autograph to give to Rita, either when she sees her again, or send it by mail, she could picture the reaction of the wolf Faunas' right away. Her thought's her stopped when the Schnee gave a stern yet quite rejection to a blonde boy, Ruby saw he seemed to be fairly scraggly if a bit tall, he seemed like a decent sort if not awkward. She could only give a small smile as she gently shook her head at watching the attempted flirting fail dramatically, but the thoughts of the Schnee had brought her to wonder where that Eve Girl was. She looked around and didn't find her, she assumed she must have been somewhere in the back and didn't bother to actively search for her. For the best because as soon as she went straight Salem had walked upon the stage.
"You are all here because you have found it in yourselves to be more than you are, to be more than you are, and it is in that skill, that strength, that drive and desire that you have chosen to use you gifts to protect and defend our world from the Grimm. BUT. Make no mistakes, your skill, your drive, and all that you think you are or know will be put to the test. Your abilities be they strong will only take you so far. It is up to you to discover what you will do with them."
At that Salem had walked off the stage and Goodwitch had stepped up. "All students will assemble in the Ballroom tonight, tomorrow you will begin your initiation, be ready."
"I..I don't think this is that great of an idea.' Ruby thought with a bit of a exasperated tone at the "Sleeping condition" of Beacon. Letting both boys and girls sleep basically together was usually a bad recipe for hormonal teenagers. But her Master had taught her to think critically. perhaps this was a test too weed out those who don't have "Discipline" and self restraint? Well regardless she just cringed at seeing boys AND girls both teasing and flecking to each other, If her critical thinking was true, than it was simply elementary as to who would pass. That being said, it's not fair to make such "deductions" There is a difference in teasing and fecking, even if it is a thine line.
thankfully she was brought out of her thoughts when she nearly laughed at seeing that same blonde boy from earlier who was about to puke was walking around PROUDLY in a onesie! As she was quietly giggling to herself she had made a side glance and saw Eve Taurus, sitting alone in a corner, still in her regular cloths as she was setting up a sleeping bag.
She knew she most likely wanted to be left alone, but she felt like she should. Was it the "Will of the Force" or was it just a feeling? She decided to go with it anyway. and besides, she didn't really know anyone other than technically Yang, and that wasn't a conversation she really wanted to face first hand as long as possible.
So getting up and taking her back pack and the bed roll and pillow the school had provided she got up and walked over to Eve. She had guessed right when she saw a small scowl and huff from Eve once she knew she was going to sit beside her.
"Hello." Ruby said, a little awkwardly as she gave a small wave to Eve with her free hand.
"What do you want?" There was a bite to her words, not really venom but it was the next kindest thing.
"Umm, sorry, but I hope you don't mind me, I got tired of all the showboating and flirting from everyone and wanted to find a quieter place plus your really the only one I've talked to in this school.
Aren't you a little short and young for a place like this?"
"well, It's true I am fifteen, but I assure you, I have been enrolled."
"Oh great, a prodigy."
well, it's a little more complicated than that, but that's about as best a term as any." Ruby said as she began placing her back pack and bed roll down and settling down. "Once again, I'm Ruby." She greeted Eve with a little more zeal than their first meeting. to which Eve said nothing, which in truth, probably was more than what Ruby felt this Eve woman was willing to put up with.
That being said, she knew she pushed all the luck she had with this woman as she simply ended her attempted talks and set down on her sleeping bag to meditate. Siting Seiza style she closed her eyes and began to focus on the force. She had found peace and balance for a short time before it was ended.
"W-who are you?"
Well we all know what coming next. So! Let me know what you think, a few things to flush out sure. I decided to go with a Immortal Human Salem, because how many fics have it? I kinda do have a bit of an outline on the roll revesal.
Same with the Gender bent Adam Taurus. I have a more fleshed out plot to why shes here and not Blake.
The biggest thing I think I need to work on for know is Aura, mainly the Semblance issue. Should I have Ruby have Aura and should she gain a semblance? Becuase I think it would take away from her being a force sensitive, I think the best thing to do is just say she has an Aura but no semblance and let her excuse just be the force.
Obviously she'll use the Force, but I want her to be like the Jedi post order 66 and be careful not to use it. Now obviously the way I set it up, she doesn't know about the purge or anything. And the next best excuse I have to want her not show off is to not "Scare" the world that's isolated from the Galaxy of what she is and what she's capable of. That and we all want to see how people would react to her Jedi/Force abilities.. which in truth compared to semblances wouldn't be that big of a thing? But other things would.
Now as said from the top, I'm still not sure if Remant should be in the "Unknown regions" or a different Galaxy. If it's a different Galaxy I would say the force is a bit different of remnant. And I Could make a more "Free style" Plot. If it's in the unknown regions, I would have to think about the Empire and eventually maybe inquisitors? But that seems like a long shot of an idea to focus on.
And lastly, Summer! Is there a relation or is it just that one in a quadrillion in a Galaxy chance? let me know in the comments!
