Canadian border, Earth 7622
Hughie and the others put their clothes back on. Once he finished, Soldier Boy angrily went over to Hughie.
"I'm sorry…" Hughie was about to apologize.
Soldier Boy grabbed him by the throat and squeezed.
"Save it! You were lucky there were women there to get a good look at me." Soldier Boy stated.
What Soldier Boy expected was fear, instead he could see the anger on his face. Hughie removed Soldier Boy's hand from his throat and pushed him, Soldier Boy pushed back.
"Oi!" Butcher yelled, stopping the fight and getting Soldier Boy's attention. Frank kept watching over them.
"Put 'im down! We're all fuckin' pissed here!" Butcher told them.
He turned to Frank.
"You knew who those cunts were, Castle?" Butcher asked.
"Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Bruce Banner, and Captain America. Spider-Man ambushed me with Daredevil." Frank admitted.
"You called the knock off with the frisbee "sir". Fucking why?" Butcher questioned.
"He's Captain America." Frank bluntly told Butcher as though he didn't require any elaboration.
"He's like…? your version of Soldier Boy?" Hughie asked.
"Somehow." Frank replied.
"No one's me except for me, pal." Soldier Boy stated.
"You seemed nervous about that skinny guy." Hughie noted.
"Banner's not someone you want to upset. Banner being there and Cap's look only prove they're AWOL." Frank stated.
"AWOL? This common with him?" Soldier Boy asked.
"Yes, he has several times. During the first superhuman Civil War over registration. Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic led the other side." Punisher stated.
"First Civil War?" Hughie asked.
He was ignored by the others.
"Right we still have Mindstorm to go after." Butcher stated.
Pennsylvania, Earth 7622 - 7 hours later
Butcher opened the gas cap of his car and put a hose through the gas cap of an abandoned car, surprisingly, enough gasoline to fill his ride. Soldier Boy was in a bad mood, surprisingly, as he expected that killing the TNT Twins would bring him some joy.
"Where the fuck is Punisher?" Soldier Boy asked.
Just then, Punisher flew down with a plastic bag and threw it at Hughie. Clothes in it. They looked like something a modern day hippie would wear, he checked the label 100% ORGANIC.
"So at least you don't walk around naked." Castle explained.
They entered the car and when Butcher turned it on, they heard an explosion. Smoke came from afar.
"What's there?" Hughie asked.
"The Pentagon." Butcher, Soldier Boy and Castle all said at the same time.
"Must be one hell of an explosion if we can see from here." Castle pointed out.
"Not our problem." Butcher answered and drove off.
Just a few miles later, the car stopped working, as well as their watches and every single piece of technology around.
"Magneto." Punisher stated.
"What the fuck is happening!?"
"Who's Magneto?" Hughie asked.
"Mutant terrorist or freedom fighter depending on who you ask." Frank stated.
"Fuckin' great, another supe supremacist." Butcher remarked.
Frank turned to glare at Butcher.
"It's different in our world. Mutants are not worshiped. I once read a story about a mutant getting lynched by the Purifiers because he had six digits on his hands and feet. I shot up a Purifier HQ because of that." Frank told him.
Butcher was silent. Although it was obviously not out of pity as Frank saw a faint grin.
Punisher grabbed the binoculars and flew out the car. He looked at the direction of the Pentagon and stated:
"You're under attack. Probably not just America if Magneto did something like that to your world. Right now there's supervillains attacking your Pentagon and we're going there."
"Why would we do that?" Butcher asked.
"Because no one here wants to stay in this doomed world and if those guys made their way here, they have a way out."
Payback Mansion, Earth 7622
The Secret Avengers returned to the mansion. As they all got out of the Quinjet, MM walked over to Cap.
"You held your part on the deal." MM admitted and Steve simply nodded. "Still, you don't think Homelander ain't gonna take that lying down." MM told him.
"It'll give us time, I have a feeling that wound might keep him out of the limelight. Men like him can't afford to look weak, especially now." Steve told him.
MM simply nodded in return. All of a sudden, the lights in the mansion started to flicker on and off. He noticed Spider-Man looking around as though he felt something was wrong.
"You okay, man?" MM asked.
"Something's wrong. It's not the incursion, but something slightly less bad… At least I hope it is." Peter told him.
"Doctor Banner somethings wrong!" Kate called out stepping out from the door.
"What is it?" Bruce asked her all the while trying to maintain his cool.
"Your machine is going haywire." Kate asked.
Bruce ran down to his lab with Steve in tow.
"What is it?" Steve asked.
"Something is wrong with the planet's magnetic field." Bruce stated.
Annie looked at the others especially the X-Men who seemed to know what was causing this.
"Magneto." Nightcrawler said the dread he felt was apparent in his tone.
"Who?" Annie asked.
"Mutant terrorist has total control over magnetism." Colossus explained.
"He's been an pain in our asses for years. He did somethin' like this years ago on our world." Logan told her.
"He's causing a planet wide EMP and shifting the magnetic poles. The mansion's generator should be safe, but the Quinjet might take some time." Banner told them.
Banner started to type something up. A hologram of the planet appeared in front of them red dots appeared all over the world much to Banner's horror.
"No, It's not just Magneto, the whole planet's under attack." Banner stated.
Vought Tower, Earth 7622
The Deep was operating his hand. A doctor reattached his fingers while having a drink.
"Where the fuck did they find you, dude?" The Deep asked.
"Hey, all the fancy doctors are already on their way to Earth 616, I'm the best you got! And did a damn good job. Now for the pinky."
Just as the doctor was about to reattach the Deep's pinky, the lights went out and all the medical equipment was off.
A-Train was lying down on a hospital bed, passed out. When all of a sudden he heard something shatter. It was the light in the room, he looked out the bed and saw a massive blackout happening throughout the city.
"A-Train!" Ashley called out.
A-Train turned and saw her, she looked even more stressed and terrified than usual.
"What the fuck is going on?" A-Train asked. The last thing he remembered doing was confronting Blue Hawk, grabbing him by the leg, and running him across the road before his heart gave out.
"I have no fucking idea! The Deep lost his fingers! Homelander's hurt!" Ashley yelled.
That last part got his attention.
"Homelander's hurt? How?" A-Train asked her, it was a sentence he never thought would come out of anyone's mouth.
"He was fucking bleeding! Apparently it was the same very small, but very angry knock off of Groundhawk who severed four of Deep's fingers! Homelander's locked himself in the room with a shit ton of antibiotics!" Ashley stated.
A-Train paused.
"That's…" A-Train was about to say, but couldn't muster anything.
"Bad, you're fucking right it is! So bad it overshadows the fact you painted an entire street with Blue Hawk!" Ashley brought up.
"I don't…" A-Train was about to finish.
"Save it no one cares anymore, you're glad his heart was still intact! We've, well Anika, already made a cover story!" Ashley told him.
A-Train opened his gown and saw the stitches on his chest. Despite being alive, he felt nothing, but shame and loathing. All due to the fact he now had his new heart belonged to the bigot who crippled his brother. He just sat down on the floor trying to process everything that was going on.
Pentagon, Earth 7622
The general struggled to free himself from the metallic grip of the tentacle that wrapped around him.
"Don't waste your time struggling, General." His captor told him. He was a middle aged man wearing a green and yellow bodysuit that showcased his plumpy physique. On his face were a pair of sunglasses that hid his pupils.
"I don't care what fucking planet you are on, but do you have any goddamn idea what you've done?!" The general asked.
"Leveled one of the most secure and fortified hedge funds in human history. Yes I believe we did, general." Doc Ock stated.
"You fat fuck!" He yelled.
One of Otto's tentacles got in front of the general's face; he froze as the sharp claws on it nearly gripped his face.
"Might I remind you, general, that I ordered the rest of my compatriots to spare civilian hostages. Military personnel are not civilians." Otto stated before bringing the general to his face. "Wouldn't you agree?" Otto stated.
"I don't…" The General stated.
"I'm sorry, Otto, I don't recall you giving me orders. In fact, I think I was the one giving you orders." The Green Goblin stated on Doc Ock's comm.
Otto scowled as he made his way over to one of the terminals. He placed a tentacle in front of a port and a connector of sorts emerged out of it.
"I'm only following your orders, Norman, because of the apocalyptic circumstances we find ourselves in. But know this, once this is all over we will resume hostilities." Otto told him as he inserted the connector.
"Looking forward to it, second place." The Goblin told him.
Soon enough the monitor displayed a warning as the intercom announced.
"Warning! Computer virus! Warning: computer virus spreading!"
"What have you done?" The general asked.
Otto proudly smirked at him.
"You are witnessing the most dangerous computer virus ever put to code. My creation: the Bubonic virus. It has already spread and shut down all defense systems in the United States. Soon it will spread to the defense systems of the UK, France, Russia, China, and all other major powers in this world. All military secrets, weapon systems, and even nuclear devices are no longer under your control." Otto explained to him.
The general was stunned to hear this.
"We surrender." He told him.
Red River Institute, Earth 7622
As the world fell to chaos, Marie Moreau, slept soundly in her bed unaware of the chaos happening around the world. Until the door she started to hear the sounds of screaming. Given the setting, it was hardly commonplace, until the screams started to get louder and louder. Her eyes slowly opened until the door was kicked open.
"What's…" She was about to ask until he felt someone grip her tightly by the neck.
It was dark, but she couldn't get a good look at the intruder until he grabbed her by the throat and brought him to his face.
He was tall seeing as how her feet couldn't reach the floor, he had blonde hair with unkempt mutton chops, his eyes had a soulless look to them. The man wore a strange yellow and brown costume with a white fur collar on it. More apparent to Marie were the sharp, claws on his fingernails which dug into her. He smiled at her barring his pronounced canines.
"I got another one." He said. "This is one of the special ones, right?" The man asked.
"Yes, so don't kill. Sinister might need her, Sabretooth." A woman's voice spoke up.
Sabretooth chuckled at her comment.
"Who me? Never." He joked.
Marie tried to speak, hitting Sabretooth on the arms to break his grip, but it was to no avail. He simply moved as though nothing was happening.
Just then a security guard was in front of them.
"Drop the girl!" He ordered.
Sabretooth flashed a grin at the guard petrifying him.
"What are you waiting for, tough guy?" Creed asked, smiling at him. "Go on earn, your check." He goaded.
The guard shot Sabretooth, but they did practically nothing. The ammunition barely got far into his flesh, his wounds healed instantly pushing the bullets out. The guard was petrified as Sabretooth got close to him smiling at him. Sabretooth raised one of his hands and brought it down. His claws tore off the guard's face, leaving a mess of broken bone, torn flesh, and mutilated muscle. Marie took advantage of this using the guard's blood to create a series of blood knives. She launched them at Sabretooth, the weapons pierced him and did more than the bullets. He let her go as she tried to flee down the hall shouting for help. Until she got tackled by Sabretooth, his wounds healing in front of her. Creed snarled at her as he started to choke her out.
"You're lucky that you're a high priority target kid! Because if you weren't I would gladly rip you to shreds and eat what's left of you. Just like we did to the staff." He told her.
Marie struggled to breath, but blacked out when Sabretooth knocked her out by bashing her head against one of the reinforced doors.
Pentagon, Earth 7622
Military personnel ran away from the direction Butcher, Hughie, Soldier Boy and Punisher ran into. Butcher checked his watch, still off from Magneto's magnetic wave.
"Bloody hell…" Butcher said. "No watches and I can't even tell the time of the day with the fucking planet on the sky. We don't know how long these powers are gonna last."
"Shoulda take the original deal." Soldier Boy said.
"Keep the Temp-V in your pockets, if it runs off, you have an extra dose."
Hughie teleported away. A minute later he returned, fully clothed with his new organic clothes.
"We go North." Hughie said. "We can make you our way in.
"Good lad."
Washington DC air space, Earth 7622
Most of The Secret Avengers were gathered in the Quinjet. Of the previous group only Wolverine and Spider-Man remained. The rest were tasked with defending the mansion in the event of an attack. Except for Captain America, Hawkeye, Annie, and MM who were in the newly developed Quin Car.
"Remember hostages are our priority." Captain America told them from the Quin Car. He turned to Annie and MM who were still in the car.
"Are you sure it was a good idea to bring them here?" Clint asked Steve.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Annie asked, sounding completely offended.
"I'm just saying you'll be dealing with guys who are possibly stronger, likely smarter than those superpowered pervs and junkies you deal with on the regular." Clint told them.
"Clint." Steve warned.
"This coming from the guy who uses a bow and arrow." MM said.
"Yeah, and I'm still alive after all these years. That says more about me than them. Don't expect to blackmail these people off your back." Clint argued.
"Enough." Steve spoke up.
Just then Clint noticed something flying towards them from the rear view mirror.
"Cap, I think we've got company." Clint told him.
Not a second later, something was thrown in front of the car, it was orange and glowed green. It almost resembled a jack-o-lantern. Steve swerved the car to get it out of the way and it exploded. All that remained was a green gas, then they heard laughter from above and Clint looked out the window. The Green Goblin was trailing behind them.
"Trick or treat!" He yelled before throwing another bomb.
"I'll call Spider-Man." Steve remarked.
"What's going on?" MM asked.
"Green Goblin, Spider-Man's archenemy." Steve told him.
"Oh come on, old man, I can take him." Hawkeye told him.
Just then one of the tires was hit by something causing it to swerve. Steve pulled the emergency brake and the car stopped.
"Get out now." Steve told them.
They all got out of the vehicle. Hawkeye took aim and managed to hit the Goblin knocking him off the glider. The Goblin got up and chuckled.
"My how unexpected to see you here, Captain America. I see you're trying a new look, can't say it works. Still you do look more like a veteran, shame I don't carry loose change." Green Goblin joked.
"Surrender now Osborn, this is your last chance." Steve ordered him.
"Tempting offer, but how about no." Green Goblin stated, he threw a pumpkin bomb at Cap. He blocked it with his shield. Steve threw it at the Goblin and dodged it. Only for the shield to bounce back from a tree and hit him in the back. The Goblin seemed no worse for wear as he fired an electric bolt from his fingers at Hawkeye. The Goblin lunged at Steve and knocked him back into the Quincar, cracking a few windows and making a minor dent. MM tried to shoot him, only for the Goblin to knock him down with a harsh shove. Annie punched the Green Goblin in the face. Only for the supervillain to laugh. He caught Annie's next punch and started to squeeze on her fist. Annie winced and let out a scream as she could feel and hear bones cracking. She tried once more only for him to catch the next one. Annie tried to free herself as the Green Goblin took sadistic delight in slowly crushing her hands.
"Young, blonde, and dainty, just my favorite." He told her.
Annie was about to speak up only for the Goblin to squeeze even tighter. Annie was now on her knees. The EMP drained most of her powers.
"What's that dear? Sorry, you'll have to speak up! I can't hear you!" The Goblin spoke up before laughing.
His laughter was cut off with a sock to the jaw, that sent him back flying. The Green Goblin looked up at the recipient and smiled.
"Well look who decided to swing on in." The Goblin said.
"Go, he's mine." Spider-Man told the rest, determination in his heart.
The Goblin got back on his glider as the wall crawler gave pursuit. Annie could overhear mention about a bridge as the Green Goblin flew away.
"You okay?" Clint asked Annie.
"I'm fine." She said wincing from the lingering pain.
As that happened, Spider-Man took notice of who was attacking the Pentagon.
"You're kidding me." He stated.
His spider sense went off and he dodged an attack from the Scorpion.
"I was hoping you'd show up." Scorpion said.
"Well I was hoping I wouldn't run into you guys. Sorry not sorry." Peter told him.
The Scorpion lunged when he was kicked down the building by the Falcon.
"Thanks for the save." Peter said.
"No problem, any advice for him?" Sam asked.
"Beyond the obvious watch out for the tail, he's not very bright." Peter told.
Pentagon, Earth 7622
"Are you lost?" The Vulture asked.
He, Scorpion, Rhino and Electro stood in the hallway before Butcher, Hughie, Soldier Boy and Punisher. Castle noticed some sort of screen on Vulture's arm, it was connected to a source of light irradiating some sort of orange energy.
"Is that what you're using to teleport to this Earth?" He asked.
"Frank Castle, I didn't judge you to be tech savvy." The Vulture said.
"I've been around enough."
"Hand the goober, birdbrain." Soldier Boy demanded.
Hughie teleported to behind the Vulture and tried to take the device by force, he was punched by Rhino and hit the roof. Butcher shot his laser vision at Rhino and Electro shot back. Soldier Boy charged at Vulture but Electro blasted the roof for him to escape. The Punisher flew after him.
Soldier Boy tackled Rhino and hit him against the wall. Butcher lasered Rhino but was attacked from behind by the Scorpion who pulled him away with his sting. Hughie attacked Scorpion and was hit by Electro's lightning. Two minutes later, they broke six different walls of the Pentagon. Hughie ended up on the ground getting punched by Rhino who was soon pulled away from him and punched. He expected Butcher or even Castle, but it was Soldier Boy, who offered him a hand.
"Come on." Soldier Boy said and helped Hughie get up.
Up in the sky, Punisher flew after the Vulture but he was too quick. He dodged Castle easily and used the wind to his favor.
"How long did you have powers, Punisher? A day? I've been perfecting my techniques for over a decade! Do you expect to actually be victorious?" The Vulture asked but Punisher remained quiet. "Aren't you going to say anything!?"
"I am not Spider-Man."
Castle swiftly disappeared from the Vulture's sight leaving him confused. Just then, a huge piece of concrete was hurled at him, almost crushing and killing the villain. He didn't have to worry about that when it came to Spider-Man. A piece of rebar from inside the concrete hit the device on his arm, causing it to turn on temporarily.
Back down, Hughie fought Rhino. Punching him and teleporting away before he got punched back. Rhino waited for the next move, when Hughie teleported for another punch, he punched back launching Hughie's entire body away. Butcher saw it happen, when he went to check for Hughie, he was gone. Soldier Boy grabbed the Scorpion's tale and launched him away.
Just as Butcher was about to go after Electro, a sudden booming sound echoed through the building. Homelander suddenly broke through the Pentagon's walls and attacked Butcher. He grabbed him and pulled him through the roof. They exchanged punches until they both fell on the field near the Pentagon.
"You and me, fight till the death." Homelander angrily said. "That was the deal."
Butcher's only answer was a smirk and lit up his eyes in yellow light.
Near the Pentagon entrance the Vulture fell on the ground and Punisher was about to rip his arm off. But he wasn't able to. The super strength was gone and he could no longer fly. The Vulture laughed at him.
"What are you going to do now?" He asked.
Castle simply punched Vulture in the face, who was knocked out with a broken jaw. He took the damaged device from the Vulture's arm and was about to crush his skull with his foot when a web was shot at his feet and pulled Punisher, who fell on his back.
"Sorry, Frank, that's not how we do things." Spider-Man told him.
Frank turned the Vulture's suit on, sending him flying away in a zig-zag about to crash somewhere.
"Somebody better go save him." Castle said.
"Man, that was just low!"
Spider-Man webbed Punisher's hands and feet to the ground and went to rescue the Vulture. Meanwhile, Frank pulled the blade he had hidden on his hand and started cutting the web.
Not too far from them, Butcher shot a double laser beam towards him and Homelander shot back. The lasers met and started battling, Homelander's red won and hit Butcher on the eyes, pushing him to the ground. No bragging, no jokes, Homelander was dead serious, he was angry.
"You think you can beat me, William? I'm the Homelander!"
He punched Butcher's mouth and knocked his front teeth out. Butcher dodged the next punch and hit Homelander in the balls. He was a better fighter but Homelander was much stronger. Butcher held Homelander's head up so he couldn't point his laser vision and punched his stomach, Homelander punched back and Butcher hit the ground. He got up immediately.
First punch hurt Homelander, second punch Homelander dodged, the kick hit Homelander, the third punch broke Butcher's hand. He tried to use his golden laser vision, but it was gone. Homelander grabbed his neck and lit up his eyes, he could feel the powerlessness in Butcher. He just threw him back on the ground and softened his own demeanor.
"Fucking pathetic." Homelander said. "Look at you, William, just… Human. The V24 can't really make you more than that. Just a fucking mud person, and that's how you're going to die. Not me fighting you, I'll just finish you."
"Yeah?" Butcher said, grinning a toothless grin. "First you finish- -"
Homelander lasered Butcher's chest. The lasers went through leaving two burning smokey holes on his body. Homelander took a look at Butcher's corpse, no more life in his eyes, all his senses shut down. He shook his head and said.
"Why did I waste so much time with you?"
Homelander flew away leaving the body behind.
Meanwhile the other heroes fought the Sinister Six. The Human Torch, was busy fighting Electro in the sky.
"I was liking off-brand Captain America better!" Electro said. "But I was hoping I'd get a chance on fighting Spider-Man, looks like I'll have to settle for his dumb pretty boyfriend."
"Thanks for the compliment. Though I'm sorry he has important business to attend to. That said he did tell me to fight the stupidest guy he knows." The Human Torch told him.
The two elementals got into a beam struggle between electricity and fire up in the air.
"Besides, why would you want to beat Spider-Man? I'm way higher up on the totem pole. I mean Sandman and Hydro Man tried." Johnny remarked.
Johnny won the beam struggle, sending Electro back. He disappeared, likely retreating through the wiring in the complex. As that happened, The Thing and Rhino were exchanging blows. Ben delivered a series of hooks and jabs to the face before Rhino knocked him back with his horn.
"I heard you were tough, Grimm." Rhino told him.
"Sorry for the kids gloves, pal. It's 'cause I don't find much joy in fightin' endangered species." The Thing said. "By the way, I heard you got another new sister at the Bronx Zoo." He added.
An angered Rhino charged at him as they proceeded to tussle.
"Really a "your mom" joke. Come on Ben, what year is it, 2007?" Johnny remarked.
"If I want to hear your opinion matchstick I'll let ya know." Ben said before using Rhino's momentum against him. The supervillain crashed into a wall.
"I'm still kinda miffed I didn't get the chance to wollop that flag wearin' asshole." Ben said. "If I had known he'd be there…"
"Relax, you'll get a chance." Johnny remarked.
"I'd better." Ben said.
Above the balcony, Nightcrawler teleported away from the attacks of eye drones launched at him. In a puff of green smoke, Mysterio appeared before him.
"Who do you think you are to challenge the might of Mysterio!" He stated.
Nightcrawler pounced at Mysterio only for it to shatter like glass, he was an illusion. He looked down below and saw Colossus fighting an army of Mysterios. They swarmed the metallic mutant who fought them all off. Nightcrawler teleported down with him to help.
"I can't find the real one, mein freund. Can you?" Kurt asked.
"Nyet, where is Wolverine?" Colossus questioned.
The Mysterio clones all grouped together forming a giant one that reached the ceiling.
"Now you will fall before Mysterio's might!" It's voice boomed.
Falcon dodged the Scorpion's tail as he swung it into the air. Scorpion fired acid from his tail, but Sam managed to dodge it. The acid managed to eat through a pillar.
"Get down here and fight!" He demanded.
Sam managed to launch a cable at the Scorpion's tail.
"Hey!" Scorpion yelled.
He tried to pull Sam down, but The Falcon's suit still kept him in the air. Just as he was about to pull him down. Scorpion was hit in the head with Captain America's shield. The shield landed in Sam's arm. Sam threw it at the back of Scorpion's head and it landed to Steve who threw it to Bucky. The three men who laid claim to the title of Captain America proceeded to throw the shield at Scorpion and to each other.
"This is almost kind of fun." Sam remarked as he repeated the process.
Even the Winter Soldier found the situation to be amusing as he cracked a slight grin. With an angered roar, Scorpion spun his tail. Sam and Bucky got out of the way. Steve managed to block it with his shield. The Scorpion retreated.
Doctor Octopus fought the rest. His arms managed to catch Kates' arrows and Elijahs' stars effortlessly.
"You are wasting valuable time, can't you see that you have already lost." Otto told them.
"Don't care." Kate replied.
"Your ignorance would be endearing, child. If not for more pressing matters." Otto told her.
"I'm a college graduate, idiot. I thought you were a scientist." Kate told him.
"Kate…" Elijah tried to warn.
An angered Doc Ock shot his two of his tentacles and wrapped them around the two. He started to squeeze them.
When he was hit in the face with webbing, he peeled it off with a tentacle. Otto looked up and saw Spider-Man.
"What's up, Doc?" Spider-Man greeted with a wave.
"At long last, I was expecting you would be here, Spider-Man." Doctor Octopus told his enemy. He launched a claw at him, but Spider-Man dodged it.
"And I didn't expect you to be here working with the Green Goblin, Otto. What did he promise you?" Peter asked.
Otto began to chase after him.
"Saving our world. Even his partners knew that I had the means to cripple this world." Doctor Octopus told him.
"What did you do, Otto?" Spider-Man asked as he dodged the tentacles trying to find an opening.
"I unleashed a computer virus. Our world would have the means to protect itself, but this world is far less advanced. All of the defense systems on this world have been overridden and are under the control of someone from our world." Otto said.
Spider-Man was shocked to hear this.
"You didn't want the honors? Glad to see you've become just a wee-bit more humble." Peter remarked.
Doctor Octopus scoffed.
"Please, I have no interest. I only care for saving the universe while you and your compatriots cling to naivety." Doctor Octopus stated.
Just then he was electrocuted from an arrow fired by Kate. Otto screamed as Spider-Man managed to kick him, his tentacles managed to shield him.
Just then he heard the Green Goblin's glider. He threw a bomb at the former Young Avengers. Peter fired a web at the bomb and threw it into a wall.
"Hope you're willing to pay for that. Oh who am I kidding you couldn't pay for it!" The Green Goblin taunted before laughing. The Goblin flew away.
Spider-Man resumed his chase.
The Goblin chucked a bomb in front of the wall creating a hole, as Spider-Man followed him. Spider-Man jumped from wall to wall as the Goblin proceeded to destroy each wall in front of them. Spider-Man managed to land a web line on the glider. Spider-Man stuck to a wall and tried to pull him down. Until the wall gave way and Peter was pulled through the wall he planted his feet on. The Goblin took advantage of this by trying to smash him against the walls and floor. Peter managed to avoid these attempts. So the Green Goblin's glider flew higher into the air, Spider-Man tried to climb up his own webline. Only for the glider to veer the opposite direction towards Peter. Spider-Man let go of the web line and roll-landed on the roof. He was fortunate they weren't too far in the sky. The Goblin let out a laugh.
"And he sticks the landing!" The Green Goblin joked as he prepared to lob a pumpkin bomb.
"Why are you doing this, Norman?" Peter asked as he dodged the bomb. The blast created a rather large hole in the roof.
"And don't say you're trying to make friends because that's impossible." Peter added as he shot another web.
"What, I'm not allowed to save our universe, Peter?" The Green Goblin questioned.
"No, you and Otto hate each other. I think he hates you more than he hates me. Besides you and I both know that 'compassion', 'empathy' are not existent in your lexicon." Spider-Man brought up shooting a web at Norman who dodged it.
Green Goblin laughed once more.
"Saving the world is just a bonus. If this rock turned to cinder I couldn't give a damn, but seeing as how it's threatening my world well I guess I give a damn now. However, I knew you'd be unable to stand by and do the right thing." The Goblin told him as he threw a triage of razorrangs. Peter rolled out of the way. Now sticking to the flagpole.
"Never thought Magneto would want to work with you too? So I'm willing to bet that there's someone in charge of both of you." Peter realized before he jumped off the pole when the Green Goblin fired electricity from his fingers. Peter used this to his advantage, managing to shoot a line and bring Norman down to the ground.
"Ooh not quite. Looks like he didn't quite stick the landing." Peter taunted.
The Green Goblin angrily got off the ground and threw a razor rang. Spider-Man narrowly dodged it as Norman rushed forward throwing a punch. Peter countered it and jumped up to kick him in the chest. Norman crashed against one of the air conditioners. Norman turned and ripped it off the ground. He threw it at Spider-Man who jumped over it only to be met with a pumpkin bomb. He captured it in a web net, but it still went off. Peter was sent back.
"So this is where you've decided to die, Peter?" The Green Goblin questioned whether he jumped back on his glider.
"I've been in worse places, like your house." Peter remarked.
"Perhaps, but here you are. Our world could end at any moment and yet here you are. Not with Mary Jane and that little sprog of yours. You can just never get enough hurting the people close to you. Can't you, Peter?" The Green Goblin taunted before laughing.
Peter angrily tossed an AC at Norman. The glider moved up even more to dodge it.
"Struck a nerve, didn't I? Well as nice as it's been. I'd say it's time for this little goblin to head back home. I've already done everything I needed to do." Green Goblin stated.
"Then why do this?" Peter asked, although he already suspected the answer.
"I just enjoy spending time with you, my boy." The Green Goblin said. He pressed a button on his belt and soon disappeared in a flash of light.
MM drove through the chaos unleashed at the Pentagon. Suddenly, a big gray figure appeared in front of him, and he was about to crash into Rhino. Before the crash, something attacked Rhino, shot two webs on his face, and pulled him out of the way. It appeared to be Spider-Man wearing his old black suit with a giant white spider on his chest. Scorpion attacked him from behind, but Spider-Man jumped and backflipped out of the way.
"Why did Spider-Man change his costume?" Annie asked.
"He didn't," Hawkeye explained.
On the other side of the Pentagon they could see the real Spider-Man in his classic red and blue fighting the Green Goblin on his glider.
"So who's that?"
The mysterious Spider-Man dodged every attack from Scorpion's sting. When Rhino raced to attack him, he jumped out of the way at the last second, causing Rhino to accidentally crush Scorpion. When the villains got up to attack him, the man in black was attacked from behind by Doc Ock, who held his arms and legs to keep him on lock. Electro followed behind Ock.
"The real Spider-Man has a better reaction time," Doc Ock told him.
Electro was ready to burn his face, but Hawkeye shot an arrow into Doc Ock's mechanical tentacle, freeing Spider-Man's arm. With this, he pulled Doc Ock and used his body as a shield from Electro's attack. The tentacles turned off for half a second before they turned back on, but it was long enough for Spider-Man's limbs to be freed.
"What's that?" Electro asked Annie as she approached him with her hands pointed at him, emanating light.
"Stand down!" she ordered, but Electro smirked. Annie felt her energy draining; whatever electricity she had charged was gone.
"I'm Electro, I can absorb electricity. And after Magneto's little stunt, I'm guessing we've got nowhere to get more juice—"
The mysterious Spider-Man pulled Electro with his web and received him with a violent punch that threw him to the ground. As he punched, the electricity field burned his fist and the black cloth around his hands. He kept punching; Annie could see his hands were burned and the black cloth turned into a goo that re-materialized itself with each blow. Electro was down, but he kept hitting him until he lost his teeth and was covered in blood, remaining alive only because the electric field eased the impact. He was interrupted by Scorpion, whose sting stabbed his back and pulled him away.
"I bet you're feeling like a big man right now," Scorpion said. "I know, I used to wear one of these, but you're just a little—"
The mysterious Spider-Man pushed his hand into Scorpion's mouth, tearing his left cheek out like it was paper. He grabbed the sting, pulled it out of his back, and hurled Scorpion at Doc Ock.

Hughie's entire body was thrown away and he hit a glass tank, he got up and the passage he came from disappeared before his eyes, he felt it, solid stone. Something ran down his eye, blood, he hit his forehead against the glass tank and left a crack in it.
He was in some kind of secret lab. Had to belong to the Sinister Six, there was tech all over the place and large screens depicting the city of New York. Hughie noticed that the cameras were pointed at buildings he never saw before, Avengers Tower, Baxter Building.
"Earth 616…" He muttered to himself.
A noise came from the glass tank. Hughie looked at it, it was filled with liquid and in it was some sort of black goo floating. It moved as if following Hughie's sight. He put his hand on the glass and the goo touched the other side, leaving the shape of a hand on the other side. Whatever that was, it intrigued Hughie.
Finally, he remembered, he had the V24 with him. The flasks on his jacket were shattered, Hughie searched for a syringe and desperately tried to gather enough of the liquid dropping on the floor into it. He didn't notice the crack on the glass tank.
Now
Annie looked up in the sky and saw Homelander arriving. She walked towards Electro, lying on the grass with a bloody face and put her hands on him, fully charging her power. Just as she was about to get to follow Homelander, she was grabbed. The Mysterious Spider-Man swung his web and took Annie away to the opposite direction of the fight. Annie fought and hit him with a light blast on the face, they both fell. Just as Annie was ready to attack him again, the mysterious man in black finally spoke.
"It's me!" Hughie said.
Hughie got up, his black was damaged by Annie's blast and revealed part of his face. The living goo moved and revealed his full face.
"Hughie? What the hell are you wearing?"
Earlier
While failing to gather the V24 from the floor, Hughie heard loud steps coming in his direction. He could see the passage back to the Pentagon hallway and Rhino coming in. Hughie immediately dropped his syringe and raced out of the lab, just for his body to hit a stonewall and find himself trapped again. Suddenly, a big hand grabbed his torso and pulled him away. Hughie yelled in pain.
"I guess I broke a few of your ribs." Rhino said. "You're not so tough now."
He dragged Hughie to the corner and ripped a metal pipe from the wall to bend around him. Hughie kept fighting but it was useless.
"You're persistent. But you're clearly useless now that your powers ran out." Rhino said he operated the computer and sent a message to the Six.
"I'm not useless. I'm not. I'm not!"
"Hey, kid, I've been in this business for a long time. Everybody wants to be the big man, some are not cut to it, that's fine, sometimes I wish I wasn't. But look at you there, hurting yourself even more."
Those words angered Hughie even more. Once again, he put pressure against the pipe and at that exact same moment as the symbiote hit his glass and expanded the crack much more. The rest of the Sinister Six entered the lab the moment a red light flashed from the tank.
"Rhino, what happened here!?" Doc Ock questioned.
"Your clone went mad!"
The tank started closing in a metal shell but before it finished, the symbiote shattered the glass and attacked Hughie. He was covered in black goo and it moved around his body as it popped out the metal pipe holding him and Hughie felt his ribs getting back in place. He got up as a hulking monster with sharp teeth.
Now
"So yeah, I guess I have real powers now. Yeh." Hughie explained it all to Annie but she wasn't as excited as him.
"You don't even know what this thing is, that's worse than Temp-V." Annie cautioned.
"He doesn't know what he is either but he's on my side."
"Is this fucking goo suit alive?"
"We don't have time for that! Just walk away, I can take it from here."
"What do you think you're going to do?"
That question stung. Hughie closed his fist, tried to look away so Annie wouldn't see how hurt he was, then he got angry.
"Right," He said. "What the fuck am I going to do? Me, the weak one, the one you have to rescue."
"No!"
"You always have to be the strong one, you always have to be so much stronger than me!"
"I thought that you didn't care about that, on our first date you said that it didn't bother you."
"I know… But it does. Sometimes. A little."
"I thought the drugs had fucked you up, Hughie, but… This is you. This is all you. I gotta go."
As Annie tried to leave, Hughie stood in her way.
"Annie, wait." He said. "You can't go."
"I can't?"
"I'm not gonna let you."
Annie sighed, her sigh spoke for her "I wish you didn't make me do this." so she released her blast. Which Hughie immediately dodged. He grabbed her arm and when she tried to kick him, he held her leg and pushed it back. It was like he already knew every move she was about to make before she did.
"The suit came with this tingle thing, you can't catch me off guard." Hughie said and the symbiote mask returned. "I wish you didn't make me do this."
Homelander flew down from the roof and remained above the others. His gaze lingered on Wolverine who popped his claws out goading him. He could hear him whisper "Still scared, bub?" Homelander retaliated by blasting him with his laser vision, full blast. His brief moment of satisfaction diminished when Logan got up. His wounds healing faster than anyone he could think of. Wolverine popped two claws back in as he flipped him off. Homelander tried to ignore his anger.
"Going to assume you folks are out of towners." Homelander told Cap.
"Is that going to be a problem?" Steve asked rhetorically.
"Yeah it kind of is. I mean for one you're going to destroy my world. Another, all these attacks are from your people." Homelander said.
"I'm trying to save your world." Steve told him.
Homelander let out a small chuckle.
"Good job. I can tell you've got balls. Your heart beat isn't rising. Meanwhile he is and he probably should be considering what I just did." Homelander said pointing at MM.
"What did you do?" MM asked.
"William Butcher, well let's just say you're never going to see him again." Homelander taunted him. "Or maybe you will very soon."
MM remained still, it was a lie, it had to be.
"You're lying." MM said.
"Who me? Never, he went down gently though. He can still get an open casket, but the same can't be said for you." Homelander said.
The Thing burst out laughing which irritated Homelander.
"I'm sorry, did you think I was being funny?" Homelander asked.
"You can save the threatening speech you've given to people a dozen times over. I'm not scared of you, none of us are and never will be. But keep pushing, and see where that lands you." Steve told him.
Homelander chuckled at his comment.
"Alright, I'll push." The Homelander said his eyes glowing red.
When suddenly, he was knocked back by a harrier jet that had been thrown at him.
"One of ours?" Kate asked.
"No." Bucky replied, pointing up the air and revealing the culprit: Magneto.
"I guess she was right you would be here." He announced.
His gaze turned to Wolverine who was flung back and pinned to the wall. He pinned the Hawkeyes to the wall as they all struggled to free themselves. As this happened Magneto flung Colossus into a charging Ben Grimm. Nightcrawler and Spider-Man tried to ambush him, but Magneto's forcefield electrocuted them. Johnny launched a fireball at Magneto, but they could not get past his force field. Magneto fired an electrical blast at Johnny sending the Human Torch to the ground. Magneto soon summoned girders, pipes, and any other forms of metal. Using them to trap Captain America, MM, Bucky, and Falcon.
"Magneto stop! You don't know what you're doing!" Steve yelled out.
"On the contrary, Captain America. I very much know exactly what I am about to do. None of you will interfere, I have business to discuss with this aberration." Magneto told him.
Magneto landed on the ground just as Homelander destroyed the jet with his laser vision. The explosion did no damage. He chuckled.
"You lost, old timer?" He questioned.
"Spare me your condescension, I have a grievance and a score to settle with you." Magneto told him.
"Oh you do? Do you have any fucking idea who you are speaking to?" Homelander questioned.
"Yes I do, am I supposed to be frightened?" Magneto responded.
Homelander smirked and let out a small chuckle. As he crushed a bit of the jet.
"Alright what is it? What's your 'grievance'?" Homelander asked, mocking him.
Magneto simply rolled up his sleeve. On his arm was a tattoo, that while worn down, still showcased a set of numbers on it. It didn't take long for Homelander to realize what he meant by grievances.
"Oh for fuck's sake. I didn't know Stormfront was a Nazi, I was just as shocked as you were." He lied. "Besides in case you haven't heard, Stormfront's dead, so why don't you stop wasting my time."
"You lie, even with her death you take after her and the practices of those she followed. Those men existed in my world and I promised myself 'Never Again'. You talk of your superiority to humans yet you indulge in their inane beliefs of nationalism to rally followers. You and your kind are unfit to claim superiority when you still cling to human ideals. You are just a human with a blue poison in the blood." Magneto stated.
Magneto's statement actually angered Homelander, as his smile disappeared. In its place was a death glare.
"Oh and what are you?"
"A mutant, or Homo Superior. I am Magneto, the master of magnetism. Unlike you, my kind are born, our gifts are innate. Everything about your species is the result of a vial and a contract. I have seen my people persecuted and killed just for trying to live normal lives. Whereas yours are bred to be worshiped. You and your kind know little of hardship." Magneto told him.
Homelander was seemingly shocked to hear about this. The whole idea of supes being the underdog against humanity didn't make sense to him.
"Oh if you're so much better than us why are you the ones getting slaughtered?" Homelander argued.
Magneto was silent.
"Nice point, boy." Magneto warned, his anger evident, eyes glowing white. "I shall not allow it to happen."
"You know what, fuck you." Homelander said.
"I believe we've found the only thing we will ever agree upon." Magneto said.
A second later, something flew past Homelander's cheek. At first, Homelander didn't seem to pay any mind to it. Until he started to feel something warm trickle down his cheek. Homelander wiped it with his sleeve, but soon found blood on it. A piece of bloody scrap floated before him. It cut him. He cut his face.
"Wrong fucking move." Homelander growled.
Homelander charged at Magneto only to be knocked back by his forcefield. Magneto shot out electricity at Homelander, knocking him back further. Homelander clutched his chest in pain; he could see that there were burn marks on it. Homelander looked up at Magneto in fear before that turned into anger. He fired his heat vision at Magneto, but his forcefield protected Magneto yet again.
"Pitiful." Magneto stated.
A tank crashed into Homelander and soon pinned him against another one. Homelander thrashed wildly like a trapped animal. He attempted to use his laser vision, but a silver band of metal wrapped around his eyes.
"Now you face the truth, Homelander. You are no god. I have seen and battled many who have laid claim to that title. To compare you to them would be an insult even towards the most vile of them." Magneto said, walking towards him.
"No, what you are is an animal. A feral beast that only knows to cause harm, so it is only fitting that you are to be put down like one." Magneto said.
A metallic spike lifted up in the air, and Homelander could tell that it was aimed at his head. He tried to free himself, but could not.
"Wait! Wait!" Homelander pleaded.
The spike stopped inches away from Homelander's face. A reflective piece of metal was brought to Homelander's face and he saw his terrified expression.
"I want you to remember this moment, Homelander. The day you brushed with death. I could easily swat you like a gnat, and I would gladly do it. However, you've proven yourself to be a valuable commodity to our plans. As such I will take my leave, but know this: when the time comes you will die." Magneto told him before flying away.
Hughie had Annie trapped on a giant spider web, her arms crossed above her shoulder tied by a thick rope of web holding all her limbs and torso. He crawled up the wall near her.
"I told you I didn't wanna do this!" He said.
Annie tried to use her blasts but realized if she did, she'd blast her own face.
"I'm saving you, Annie." Hughie said.
"I don't need to be saved!"
"You needed somebody to save you when Homelander attacked you on an elevator for refusing to kill me, didn't you?"
"I didn't tell you that to use against me!"
"It's a good thing this is not an argument."
He weaved his web and swung away from Annie as she yelled his name. As he approached the action, Hughie saw something on a field not far. Couldn't be what he thought it was. He went to the field and found a body there. Butcher was dead, two lasers went through his body. Hughie kneeled down and looked at him. The symbiote revealed his face about to cry, but it soon turned to anger.
Punisher ran towards Hughie, a machine gun on one hand and a piece of technology he took from the Vulture on the other. He stopped running upon seeing Butcher's corpse.
"I knew not to trust temporary powers, he knew too, he just… Didn't have much of a choice." Castle said and showed the tech to Hughie. "This is what the Six were using the switch Earths, we have to- -"
"Go." Hughie said and walked away. His black mask returned. "I have something to do."
Hell of universe 616
Billy Butcher found himself in the middle of the traffic. He walked off the road before one of the many cars hit him. The sky was somehow even more red and no second planet in the sky. Butcher looked around and saw what he recognized as demons, a giveaway of where he was now. He was surprised Hell existed, he was not surprised he ended up there. A crowd of demons walked by him and started pushing Butcher.
"He wants to see you." One of them said.
Butcher refused to go but they kept pushing him forward and forcing him to go on. Finally Butcher found himself before a throne.
"Man, we've been receiving a lot of people from your world recently but you're a special one." The flaming skeleton said.
Sitting on the throne, the flaming skeleton wore a motorcycle jacket and blue jeans with black boots, he had a metal chain around his body. The flames on his skull formed the shape of a crown.
"You're the devil." Butcher stated.
"Currently. Name's Johnny Blaze, Ghost Rider."
"Bloody hell… Even you're a supe."
"I guess I am, I was on a team and all that. But right now I'm the King of Hell."
"So what now? You're gonna torture me for eternity? I'm happy just knowing that cunt Homelander is going to end up here with me sooner or later."
"I didn't bring you in just to torture you, Billy. How do you feel about being the Spirit of Vengeance?"
