The era of empire was over. The whole universe rejoiced. The dark lord, filled with fear, was defeated and gone. Luke Skywalker, the man who saved the world, also had a period of retirement: for a few years after the Battle of Endor, he worked as a bounty hunter for a short time. Let me tell you about it this time.
Luke was on a planet called Serenitia. It is a place where rich nature and advanced civilization are in harmony, and the people living on this planet do not like to fight.
The client was a person named Luminous. When we were using communications to make the deal, Luke was not very nice to him, since he hid his face when he was a hologram, from the stage in the call.
In the jet car, we drove through the city for a while and came to a plain with a field of flowers all around. A large orphanage stood there by itself. That was where we were to meet. As soon as he got out of the car, a soap bubble the size of a basketball flew into the air.
"It's nice to meet you, You must be Luke?"
The bubble spoke.
"Who are you?"
Luke tilted his head toward the bubble.
"I am Mike, a soap bubble shaped human being from this planet. My husband has entrusted me with the management of this house. Please come in. As soon as you enter, we will be waiting for you in the room marked F30."
Luke crossed the grounds of the mansion with the soap bubble microphone by his side. In the yard, a group of small children were playing with a robot, who was still in the early stages of learning. After a brief glimpse of this scene, Luke quietly entered the facility.
"Excuse me."
He quickly found room F30. After knocking several times, Luke entered.
The room looked like a large conference room and was surprisingly spacious. At the end of the room was a large disk with a golden hooded dwarf sitting behind it.
He said, "We have been expecting you, Mr. Luke Skywalker. I am Luminous."
The dwarf looked at Luke and said slowly.
"Are you of the Jawanese tribe?"
Luke looked at Luke and saw two eyes shining through the hood. Luke recognized Luminous's appearance.
"You know me well, don't you? I am, indeed, of Javanese descent."
"We have met briefly before. I used to live in Tatooine. I lived in Tatooine, where the imperial army attacked them heartlessly. I couldn't tolerate it. Now that may be the first time I've been in a fight. Are you going to stay on this planet forever?"
"Yes. I came to this facility a few years ago through a benefactor. The people here are very kind-hearted. I decided to spend my life sharing the joys of life with people rather than collecting junk."
"That's good to hear. You seem to speak a few languages, and you look very strong. So, what's the reason you called me here?"
Luke adjusted the glove on one hand.
Luminous produced two pictures on a disk. One is a picture of a human middle-aged man lying on the floor. The other is a picture of a woman in her twenties or so lying on a different floor. She was assumed to be of the Toeiilek race of the planet Rylos because she had two long antennae on the back of her head.
"This is a picture of the curator who was recently murdered in the same group's facility. Apparently, someone claiming to be a warrior survivor has been attacking the orphanage at night."
"What are those white mountains near this dead body?"
Luke pointed to a small, rainbow-colored fruit that was reflected near the body.
"These are Maria's berries."
"Maria's berries?"
"Maria's berries? It is said that if you eat one of these fruits, you will be able to live for three days without drinking or eating. Apparently, he has a habit of sending them to his enemies."
"Why does he make such a roundabout attempt to heal his enemies?"
"I do not know. I have heard that on a distant planet, it was once a custom to send salt as a sign of respect to one's sworn enemy."
"This way of defeating them is clearly a street crime. Do you have any other information, Luminous?"
Luke took the two photos in turns and said, "What we do know is that he has three.
"There are three things we know about him. First, he strikes alone at night. Once a month, on a bright night, when the wolves of Serenity howl in unison. And he used to be a Jedi Master. He carries a purple lightsaber. That means he was once one of the Inquisitor's in the Empire. Maria's fruit has not yet been sent to us, but if we follow the geographical trail, it is likely that this is the place they are after this time."
"I see what you mean."
Luke returned the photo to Luminous and looked at the children playing behind the window.
"We will move the children to a safer place. Today is the night the wolves howl. We will begin preparations right after this. As the director, I must fight to give hope to the children who have no foster parents. Please take care of them."
"Let's do our best."
They shook hands there. The late afternoon sunlight shone on them through the window. The butler quietly peeked through the doorway to watch the glorious scene.
As night fell, Luke wrapped himself in a blanket in a small Western-style room at the facility and waited patiently for the time to come. The children had already been transferred to another facility. Luke thought back to the move with the children he had sent away. The children did not show a single unhappy face as they were transferred, and they were as innocent and excited as if they were going on a field trip. Luke's mouth relaxed a bit when he saw them.
Soon the wolves started howling. Luke came to himself and looked out the moonlit window.
"It's about time."
Luke threw off his blanket and left the room, hurrying to his room in F30.
Just as he arrived at the front of the room, Luminous came out of the room.
"Luminous. Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine. But more importantly, did the enemy appear?"
"No, I haven't found them yet. We have not found them yet."
"That's strange. Let's go to Mike's room."
"They went straight to Mike's room."
When they soon arrived at his room, they found that the door to his room was carelessly slightly ajar, and a light was leaking from it. Luke got permission from Luminous and opened the door as fast as he could. When he entered, there was no sign of him, just a view of the well-appointed room. Only one letter remained on the desk in the back.
Dear Curator.
I, Mike, am resigning my position as steward of this orphanage as of today.
I have to pick up a friend of mine on short notice. I have taken the liberty of borrowing my salary in advance from my account. Please forgive me.
From Mike.
The letter said.
"Mike ..., what's wrong?"
"Luminous, do you have any idea what he is doing?"
Luke read the letter and looked at Luminous, who was absolutely mortified.
"Not particularly. "Nothing in particular, but you were very observant of the facility where the children were shown today."
Luke knew what Luminous was talking about. He had carefully observed the new facility, from the entrance to the front door, as well as the location of the staircase and the statistics. As a butler, it was important to be familiar with the structure of the house, but as a quitter, he thought his actions were over-the-top.
Suddenly, Luke took note of the facility's communications equipment in the room.
"Has this communications equipment been used recently?"
"I'm pretty sure I saw Mike use it on a few phone calls."
"Let me take a look."
Luke pressed a button on the communications device and called up the communications history. A hologram showed some line of sight.
"I'm searching the communication history. There are three most recent communications logs. One is from Peaceful Haven Orphanage, one from Calm Oasis Orphanage, and the last from an unknown address."
"That's the location of the orphanage where the incident took place!'
Luminous sounded surprised when the system read it out in an impermanent voice. Luke's brow wrinkled as well.
"Let's go back to the new facility."
Feeling a strong sense of unease in the Force, Luke got into the car with Luminous and hurried back to the children's place.
Luke's hunch was right on target. When he arrived at the scene, he found it was a dance floor of flames. The orphanage that had condemned him had already been consumed by fire, and in the yard were children who had been watching.
"Everyone!"
Luminous rushed to the children. It seemed they were all there. He breathed a sigh of relief and hugged the frightened, crying children.
"I can't believe you've already sniffed out this place..."
A low-pitched voice descended on the group. It was Mike, emerging from the bushes nearby. It was Mike, his face clearly filled with an evil that was different from the one in the morning.
"Mike, you!"
"Isn't that Mr. Lunamis?"
Mike gave Luke and the others a bad smile with his shabby face contorted.
"What are you doing here?"
"This is exactly what I do; I was selling information to the Inquisitor. He was one of mine from the beginning. That's all."
A man in black emerges from the burning facility. In his hand was a lightsaber. It was purple.
"Are you the Inquisitor?"
Luke quickly drew his lightsaber.
"I was indeed an Inquisitor and was given the number 20. I was told that my other brothers had been killed by the Jedi, but I was lucky enough to be sent to a remote planet where there was less conflict and I hid there until the fighting was over."
"What happened to your lightsaber?"
"I bought it, on the black market. It belonged to a Jedi master who once existed. Behold, this divine shining purple light.I am the one who deserves it."
"Why did you attack the children's home?"
"It's a simple question. It's a simple question: I hate children."
The Inquisitor gripped his saber and slowly closed the distance to Luke. The fight was on. Luke was the first to attack. The Inquisitor carefully receives the full force of the swinging attack.
"It's a brilliant power It's a shame that it's such a waste. It's such a waste."
"Stop it," he said. You don't stand a chance."
"I know that. I know that, but I've been stuck on a lukewarm planet for the past few years and I'm hungry for a fight. And I like to win."
Green and purple lights clashed violently.
The Inquisitor holds his hand up toward the burning facility. Several large pieces of burning rubble floated up with his Force. The debris fell toward a gathering of children.
Luke tried to release the Force as quickly as he could, but it was all he could do to keep from being overwhelmed by the purple lightsaber of the Inquisitor, which was now two-handed again.
"That's the end of it!"
Just before the debris hit, the children put their arms out in front of them and closed their eyes. Strangely, the sound of the place was cut off. The debris stopped just above the children's heads. Luminous, who was standing in the middle of the children, raised her hands and stopped the debris in mid-air with the power of the Force.
"What?"
This surprised the Inquisitor. He had intended to catch Luminous by surprise, but was surprised by the fact that he was using the Force.
Luke pushes back the purple light in the meantime.
"Your father's fighting!"
"Dad is awesome!"
The children were all delighted to see Luminous holding the rubble still. He was too busy trying to stop them, or perhaps he gritted his teeth and didn't speak back. Luminous looked down and smiled at the children. A metallic sound rings out for a moment as it flows. A thin laser bullet pierced Luminous' left breast.
Luminous gathered his strength and threw the debris to the ground near the flames. At the same time, he too collapses to the ground, crumpling on the spot.
"You fool! That's because you're getting carried away. That's what you get for relying on the Force."
Mike, who had disappeared for some time, appeared again, smiling broadly. In one hand, made of foam, was a small blaster. Luke, who was looking at him sideways, shuddered.
"Whoa!"
Luke raised his voice and bumped his saber several times against the Inquisitor that was at a distance, cutting off the entire arm that was holding the saber.
Where his eyes widened at the sight of the blown off arm, he further slashed at his abdomen, then ran straight to Mike and slashed his Shabbos body in half.
As soon as the Inquisitor died on the ground, Mike dissolved into a bubble on the ground.
Luke came to Luminous, who had collapsed in the immediate vicinity, watched over by his children.
"Luminous."
Luke held Luminous' small hand, which was moving slightly.
"Mr. Luke. It seems I'm done here. I asked you to take care of the children."
" What are you talking about? You're just getting started. Good, the wound doesn't seem to be serious. Rest for a while. It will get better."
Luke sent Luminous a smile. There were a lot of big tears.
"Thank you, Luke said. I'll take some rest. Yes, take as much of your reward as you want from my account ..."
"I don't need the reward anymore. This incident was my fault in a way."
"I appreciate that. ... Actually, I'm preparing a new facility in addition to the one here. I'm going to be Suga soon. This time we will all live there together. Let's have fun and live in peace. ..."
Luminous closed his eyes quietly for the last time. The children called his name in unison, but he never woke up again.
A few days later, Luke was in the staff room of his new facility.
"Thank you, Mr. Luke. Thanks to you, we will be able to achieve Director Luminous' goal of a peaceful and joyful children's facility!"
The new director, a middle-aged female human, smiled at Luke.
"She smiled at Luke, "No, I didn't do anything. No, I didn't do anything. He was a wonderful director who fulfilled his appointment. I'll see you now at ..."
"Oh, wait a minute, Master you don't mind, would you mind holding this picture for me?"
A middle-aged woman held out a photograph to Luke as he turned away to leave the facility.
Luke quietly accepted the photo. It was a picture that Luminous had taken himself at Tatooine. He was clumsily attaching many pieces of junk together, and then making them look like children, having fun with them. Luke left the facility with a smile on his face, comparing such an innocent figure with the children playing behind the window.
