December 23, 2002 Dream World

How...How did it come to this. That was the one thought running through MaloMyotismon head as he was being sent flying by two Positron Lasers simultaneously. When he was first defeated by the DigiDestined 3 years ago he was lucky to have found Oikawa and with the false promise of getting the man to the digital world he began he plan for his revenge. He spent weeks thinking of a plan but without access to the digital world due to some kind of barrier keeping him out (something he blamed on the DigiDestined) his options were limited until one day he sensed the faint presence of Millenniumon around a corner and witnessed the younger Ichijouji exiting a digital portal did he finally have a plan to get his revenge. It was would require patience and a bit of risk but it would be worth it.

The younger Ichijouji was harboring a dark spore that came from the defeated Millenniumon and just needed a little nudge before it truly began growing. It was so sad how the older Ichijouji boy was hit by that car the following day, they never did find the woman in red or the man in blue that witnesses say were the owners of the car. And while he couldn't travel to the Digital World the World of Darkness was still an option to him and with the promise to Dagomon of handing over the the DigiDestined of Light he was able to give his new puppet a way to negate Digivolution which also sealed away the Crest of Kindness. After that it was a game of patience while the Ichijouji worked away making Dark Rings and Control Spires, Mummymon and Arukenimon was in charge of causing minor chaos to keep the Destined Digimon off his scent.

It was perfect since even if the DigiDestined did return they'd be defenseless against him and his new army of Controlled Digimon and with back-up plans prepared it would've taken a miracle. It was as that thought crossed his mind that is eyes landed on one Daisuke Motomiya and things started to click. Through out his plan he knew the DigiDestined would be an obstacle which was why he made many contingencies, but this one proved to be an X-Factor in everything he had planned be it on purpose or by chance. As his back hit it all came to him.

When he had took temporary control of Chimairamon the boy had not only freed the Crest of Kindness but also gained the power to defeat the amalgam Digimon, the wall began to crack. When he had Arukenimon start making Control Spire Digimon at the ultimate level the boy bonded with his former puppet and they awakened the ability to Jogress which seemed to have a domino effect causing the rest to awaken the same power, the cracks in the wall grew. And even now as he used his Mental Illusion on the DigiDestined the boy was unaffected by his power and even learned how to use the power of this world against him, the cracks grew more.

But now he knew why the boy was such an obstacle, when he first saw Magnamon he thought he was just a fluke but now he was certain about it. When he used his Mental Illusion a golden barrier seemed to cover him and he saw it for a split second before he was pushed back by a shockwave, the symbol for the Power of Miracles. The boy had a power that guaranteed not matter how dire the situation was that he and his allies would always be the victors.

As the wall began him finally began to give way from hitting it one thought came to him.

'If only I had known earlier I could've made that power my own'

The wall had stopped breaking. The Positron Laser colliding with MaloMyotismon stood still. The DigiDestined and all their Digimon stood still. The world had froze. But not just the dream world so had the Real and Digital world.

August 3 , 1999 Real World

"STAY AWAY FROM US YOU FLOWER FREAKS" a maroon haired girl shouted as she and her little brother were running through a building they had been brought to 'What in the world is going on, first the sky goes dark, then weird monsters like out of one of Dad's movies start popping up and kidnapping people, and for whatever reason Daisuke's chest is glowing like a lightbulb, but it'll be fine along we need to do is find a place to hide and...'.

Her mind came to a halt two as they turned the corner were met with a dead end with the only room being a small janitors closet, she had been so busy in her thoughts that she didn't realize were they were going. "Jun what are we gonna do those flower things are gonna be here any second" her brother asked her as he looked behind them to see the shadows of the creatures chasing them around the corner.

"Got you now you little brats" One of the flower creatures said as they rounded the corner a bit out of breath from chasing the two.

Daisuke watched as Jun ran to the door he didn't knowing what she was planning but right now anything was better than nothing. His little body was exhausted from running so much and needed to rest. At the same time the creature began to but stopped and gained a puzzled look as it looked at his feet.

As he looked down to see why the creature stopped he let out a scream as he saw a misty portal at his feet that began to swallow him. He began to panic and struggle to get out as he began sinking deep into the portal.

He looked up to see Jun running towards him before jumping in after him as it began to close. The last thing he saw before it went black was Jun grabbing onto his shoulders.

"WAKE UP ALREADY OR ELSE YOUR GONNA BE LATE FOR PRACTICE"

And so it begins.
